Actually Obelisk does if you've played games like Sacred Cards you'd know that. If you tribute two monsters you destroy their field and inflict 4000lp damage

That's true but it takes longer to destroy it because you can play quick-plays like typhoon or spell-shattering arrow from your hand to destroy cold wave but continous are faster than quick-plays
