I noticed them on the floor, but I've always wondered why some of them were in KHI, and not in any of the others. But now that you've mentioned birth by sleep, it makes a bit more sense. Maybe Maleficent already had the other princess, like in the start of KHI she had Snow White. So over the 10 years or something, she had been 'kidnapping' them. Gahh, I dunno, LOL.
