It also probably depends on the maturity of the child. Your parents probably thought you were pretty mature. My parents started leaving me home alone for short periods of time when I was about 10, and the summer I was 11 my mother left me alone all day. The boy I babysit, though, is ADHD and acts like he's closer to 10 than 12. Like I said, he's a total sweetie and he's mostly self sufficient, but it is probably a better idea to have someone around for supervision during the day.
Yeah he mostly wanted to talk about Pokemon when I first got there, and was in awe of the fact that I own Pokemon the 1st Movie on VHS. Then I popped in the game and that's all he cared about for the next 4 hours.

Today's case; Babysitting a 12 year old. He's an absolute sweetie, but possibly a little too old to need a babysitter. I brought my copy of KH 1.5 and he's absolutely enamored with it.

I look like I'm about 16. I'm turning 21 in two weeks. I am okay with this. As for my voice, I haven't a clue. I think I sound about my age? Someone who's heard me speak, tell me. Oddly enough, people think my singing voice and my speaking voice don't match, since I'm a soprano singer but my speech is a bit lower.

I was a lunch monitor for three hours which basically meant I got paid to stand against a wall and listen to high school drama in my peripheral hearing. It being Valentines Day, there were flowers everywhere. One boy got down on one knee and asked a girl out it was so cute.

Funnily enough, I just started playing XIII-2. Is Lightning Returns as confusing as that game because I am like two hours in and I have no idea what's going on.
Well I mean The promos look like sh*t and the trailers make it seem like the typical cash-cow movie that only five year olds would like. But then everyone's been saying it's actually a really good movie. So idk.

I have a deep love of Hamlet. Especially when he's played by a hot dude. Especially David Tennant. Didn't care for any Romeo and Juliet, and Macbeth was only amusing to me because my teacher purposely got the bloodiest version she could find. And the King in that version looked like the Burger King. Julius Caesar I mostly slept through. I was in a production of Midsummer Nights Dream and it was fun. I got two lines and a pretty costume. hamlet tho. love me some hamlet.
