The problem with Riku is that when I was 12 I thought he was hot. And now I'm going to be 21 in two days and I still think he's hot. Meanwhile he's been 16 for ten years. Do you see my dilemma.
STORY TIME, CHILDREN, GATHER ROUND. Okay so when I was like 12 (summer of 2006 I think) I was visiting my Dad and he noticed I was sad about something (aka this was around the time I started getting depressed), and, in typical Dad fashion, he took me to WalMart to buy a game. Because that's how my dad rolls. I didn't have a PS2 at the time, but I knew my brother did, so I decided to get a PS2 game. I saw Donald and Goofy and Mickey and some hot anime guys on the cover of KH2 and I was like OMG that one it looks boss. The guy that unlocked the case said it was the second game, so I asked if they had the first game, but, this being WalMart, of course they didn't. So I got the second game and decided I'd figure it out. And the opening for KH2 BLEW. MY. MIND. It was like the best thing I'd ever seen in my life as, up until that point, the only RPGs I'd ever played were on the PS1. The tutorial managed to explain the plot of KH1 well enough, and I think I just looked up the plot for CoM. Either way, KH2 was the thing that got me into video games, internet culture, cosplay, fanfiction, and it just made me feel better on the days when my depression was really bad. It's not my favorite overall in the series, but it holds a special place in my heart. c:
I voted for KH1 in the end, but it was very very close for me. Although it's actually been a few hours since I voted and I wish I'd voted for KH2 now. I adore KH1, but KH2 was the first KH game I ever played and it's literally the reason I am here right now.

I always felt like the reason the worlds weren't very relevent in BBS was because the Wayfinder Trio were operating under the same 'Do Not Interfere' rule that Donald and Goofy mentioned at the beginning of KH1. But whereas Sora and Co took that rule, stomped on it, and threw it out the window, Aqua Terra and Ven actually gave a sh*t and tried not to meddle if they could help it.

You need to calm down, my friend. Yes, DDD does seem like it could've used a bit more testing, but that doesn't mean it's not a decent game. Seems to me like you're so wrapped up in the bad parts of the game that you don't care about the good parts. yeah i agree with the dream eaters being stupid though. except the part where i can have a dinosaur in my party. dinosaurs are awesome.
While I do prefer RE:CoM (voice acting, nicer scenes, better music, combat that doesn't trap you in a corner), it also has a lot more... problems than the original. RE:CoM was, kinda obviously, a bit of a rush job, especially with the localization, despite there being a nice two year gap between the Japanese and US releases.

As much as I love Days' story, the rest of the game was kinda sh*t so KH1 wins for me. And then I picked Coded to piss you off. CoM is my favorite KH game and no one ever agrees with me. THE CARD COMBAT IS FUN, DAMN IT.

That's not what I meant at all. I meant that John was a name waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before Homestuck was a thing (it's biblical, I believe), and I don't even know how you managed to bring Homestuck into this at all. Thanks for apologizing all the same, but it wasn't necessary. Also 'Nui' is just Cat with a name change.
