If it's not posted up in this forum, there's probably no news about it. We're in such a KH news drought that we'll really post any kind of official hints about the title, heh.

If I intend to play a game, I'm pretty adamant about avoiding spoilers. For games like KH3D I read story summaries and ending spoilers the moment they were available just because I didn't have (and still don't) a 3DS, but I'm pretty hyped for KH3 and will definitely be getting it on launch, so I don't want to spoil that experience. It'll be the first game in a long time that I'll have that anticipation about. There was just something so magical about turning on games for the first time after months/years/centuries of waiting and having no idea what's going to happen next. I definitely want to preserve that for KH3.

Until we announce that apps are closing (which may be soon), you shouldn't expect to hear about interviews. We mayalso interview in several rounds this time around, so just because you hear others being interviewed doesn't mean you're not being considered.

I realize it's an awfully anxious state to be in but when we have finished the hiring we do always send round messages to those who did not get interviewed. Unfortunately until then you won't really know anything for sure (unless you're contacted about an interview),

    I ****ing hate Spotify.
    • The UI is awful
    • it contains basically zero library management, last I used it you couldn't narrow down your library AT ALL (like if I only want to listen to Max Richter songs in my library, I have to make a playlist? which results in people having literally hundreds of playlists, oftentimes with just a single artist or album. It's nuts)
    • it has a ****** selection. I like having covers and live versions and demos and remixes and Spotify is basically just "these are the tracks that were on the albums I guess." Not only that, but when I tried using it most of the bands I searched for were not available.
    • I don't want their ******, low quality, ad-riddled radio, and I don't think the service is worth paying any money for.
When you remove the whole "hey you don't have to download music anymore!" thing from Spotify (because of its crappy selection), it's really just a subpar music player.
iTunes isn't a great music player, in my opinion, but I've also never found one as good as it, so maybe I just have unrealistic standards for a music player. Tagging, especially batch tagging, is buggy as hell with it, it doesn't support FLAC or OGG, it's slow at times & unnecessarily resource-heavy (this has been improved lately but it's still imperfect), it lacks good auto-playlist generation (Genius has always been ****** to me), and I wish it had some deeper display options. It's great for podcasts though, generally looks nice, has some nice playlist functionality, and displays large libraries well. My discontent with it has often made me look at other solutions (like I said, I've tried Songbird and MusicBee), but because I had an iPod and later an iPhone, I couldn't really look beyond it. Now that I don't I'm curious about what's out there, which is why I'm giving Google a try (and it has a good advantage in being Android friendly), but if I don't like Google I'll go back to iTunes. If I do like Google a lot I'll probably keep using iTunes to some extent, just to keep my library organized and for offline listening, but ideally I'd like to replace iTunes altogether.

Yeah, it has a web interface and I'm pretty sure it's available for iOS devices as well.

    Does anyone use this?

I've stuck with iTunes for years now, but I recently switched from my iPhone 4 to a Samsung Galaxy, so there's no real reason for me to continue using iTunes. I've tried MusicBee and Songbird before but just never found anything I really liked.

I'm transferring my library onto Google now to give it a go for a bit, I don't like that it doesn't have a desktop app but I can probably deal. Just thought I'd hear other people's thoughts on it.

( I'm not using the paid service btw, if I really fall in love with it I may try that out )

For the record I don't think guys are always very forward either, probably because they don't want to seem creepy or come on too strong, but I think society could benefit from more transparency in personal interactions. Honesty is a really attractive quality, to me.

Basically what everyone has said, internalized notions of patriachary. In the days of courtship, it was indecent for a woman to be too forward, else she'd be labelled a flirt.

Oh I understand! I didn't mean to accuse you of this, just to reaffirm that telling a non-religious person that they should not disrespect a book because it is somehow sacred to them isn't really going to change their mind/perspective, because sacrality is not something they are familiar with or also feel. To be honest I'd rather the defense "you should not put a slice of pizza on the Bible because it is offensive to many people" over "you should not put a slice of pizza on the Bible because the Bible is sacred." The former at least holds some weight with me -- and it's of course not to say that I will necessarily follow it, but that gets into utilitarianism and ethics which is a whole other can of worms, heh.
