Oh wow, now there is an impact of obesity I had never considered before o_O Ironic, we fatten cattle and livestock up to go and die, and here they are trying to slim them down to send off to war. I agree with what they are saying; something really does have to be done about the issue of weight and health, and those lessons are best learnt at a young age. I don't know though, something just doesn't sit right with it; it is like not letting them be kids, instead grooming them for the armed forces. Besides, even if they did change school lunches then who is to say it will have any kind of real effect? Something similar was done here and it was met ith a lot of resistance, to the extent parents were sneaking in McDonalds to their kids at lunch time (how supportive they are of keeping their children healthy /sarcasm) I think instead it should be focused on encouraging a healthy lifestyle you know? At the end of the day being fit is about more than just having a calorie controlled diet. This is odd for me, I actually fully support the military and our guys who are out there, but this I don't like. Or rather, I don't like the thoughts behind it.
