The official status of PB and Marceline isn't really known, there are a lot of rumors going around but I don't think many of them are entirely true. From what I understand, when What Was Missing (incidentally my fave episode) aired there was significant backlash for the heavy implications of a past (romantic) relationship between PB and Marceline. For this reason I'm pretty sure CN stopped showing the episode regularly in reruns for a while (I think they do now). The writers apologized saying they may have taken things a little too far. Later, when Sky Witch was about to air, one of the people behind the show (don't remember his name) posted a pic of PB and Marceline to Instagram saying "SHIP SHIP SHIP SHIP," while another writer has been pretty insistent that it's a platonic friendship. I don't think we know what CN did and didn't do or say was alright (though canceling a popular show for having LQBTQ characters would be a ridiculously stupid PR move), especially because after What Was Missing and in some of the comics the implications are definitely still there. Because of the controversy I doubt that we'll ever see a relationship come to culmination (though we may learn more about their past split and history). I'm actually kind of okay with that, as it stands some of he mystery about the two leaves a lot of room for speculation and analyzing the characters and most importantly fan fiction. On the other hand, it's important to represent gay relationships on television especially within kid's shows, and AT is gutsy show that I hope would rise to the challenge.
The last book I finished was for one of my English courses, World War Z. I personally wasn't a fan of it, I've never been too compelled by the zombie craze and for a novel that professes to include the "human factor" of a zombie outbreak it was surprisingly technical. I think Brooks is a bit of a military nut and that showed in the book. I'd have liked to see more about the psychological and emotional effects of the outbreak; the only story that really stood out to me was, incidentally, one of the few female subjects and was quite grounded in psychology. I've been reading Night and Day by Virginia Woolf on and off for... geez, several months now. It's quite challenging! I can't read more than a few pages a day, especially because my copy has an incredibly small font (and I've forgotten half of what I've read to this point...).
Graduating high school was the best thing that ever happened to me. Hope it'll be the same for you~ Not really but my life has gone significantly upwards since.
what the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck you guys what the **** is this show!! It is like everything I have ever wanted (but never knew I wanted), I've known that for a long time of course, but god I love it when they throw in these crazy foreshadows and cliffhangers and metaphors and subtexts Spoiler like holy **** that Lemonhope two parter was basically about free will and freedom and libretarianism? god damn i love this show also lesbians lesbians disclaimer: under the assumption that pb/marceline is a Real Thing then it's more accurate to call the two bisexual (if we're labeling); marceline had a boyfriend (ash) so she is definitely diggin' da boys on some level (tho pb is her tru luv), pb is more complex because i think the only male romantic relationship we've heard about her in was young mr. cream puff which i don't think was about romance as much as "well i'm going to be ruler of my new kingdom, i need candy buildings and candy people and queens are supposed to be married i guess so i should make a dude" so i hesitate to call her bisexual. also labeling is kinda silly and it's up to the characters to decide what they would like to call their sexuality if they want to call it anything at all. also they're not real people at all so i guess it's up to the showrunners who have really not taken any kind of stance so whatever this is really long and not about anything important except i guess how i plummeted into the bubbline pit and i don't want to ever leave. disclaimer about the disclaimer: i can only call them lesbians if they are actually romantically and/or sexually interested in each other (and again if they choose to label themselves), and therefore that pb/marceline is a thing, if you don't agree that is cool i don't mean to force my otp on you (although if you don't dig it you may be my nemesis) ok w/e i was going to talk about season 5's weirdness and amazingness but actually i just wrote about pb and marceline and i'm not even surprised misty out edit: also HAMBO
Headphones are also really important to have, else we'll get an echo on the podcast which is really annoying to hear and usually difficult to edit out. I do advise against internal microphones just because they're very low quality and pick up a lot of background noise. I'm not expecting every one of our guests to have studio quality mics but internal mics are pretty bad most of the time. It depends on the particular one though, you should play around with it and see how it sounds over Skype. Since the audio is processed through Skype (that's how we record it, there are other ways but they're not very guest friendly) there's really no reason to go out and buy a snazzy mic anyway. A cheap headset would probably be the best solution (unless you skype/podcast/make commentaries often like me, or are a tech nerd like me, and waste your money on this ****).
Just to add to this, the links function even without the username information. For example, my user id is 6, so this URL... http://www.kh-vids.net/members/6 Directs you to my profile.
I'm sure it's possible somehow but it defeats the purpose of the feature.
I AGREE also I just finished season five tonight and um holy **** it gets WEIRD, like weirder than usual and it's amazing
It's meant to mirror tweets, the 140 character limit isn't arbitrary.
you think your mind is blown now. You have no idea what lies ahead
It may not be exactly like that but yes that's what prefixes are. We did this recently with the KH help sections, sometimes it just doesn't make sense to break things up so much especially when prefixes offer organization without segmentation.
We allow posting threads in the higher level section in certain nodes for general discussion or if someone is unsure where to put a thread. Furthermore, for highly segmented sections like these, we've been moving more towards prefixes to cut down on page clicks to get to content. These forums will probably go that route eventually. Also I believe I've mentioned this before but PLEASE do not post code here, it should not be shared outside the xf resource site IMO. We appreciate the help but it is unnecessary (unless asked).
season five is great!! They go a lot more into back story / world building than before. Also Sky Witch. SKY WITCH.
I love Ice King so I wasn't very disappointed, but I do think Simon is still in there somewhere.
Yeah, changing the font size was just to test my theory. It should be better now.
I'M ACTUALLY VERY PROUD OF MYSELF I DID NOT RANT ABOUT FFXIII ONCE IN THIS EPISODE
I'm having some trouble replicating the problem but I just made a change that might help -- could you let me know if it's working now?
Yup iTunes is always a little delayed since I have to update the XML feed and then iTunes needs to recognize it. It should be appearing in just a few minutes (try manually refreshing if you're really impatient). And yeah, sorry for the lateness, didn't get a chance to edit it last night so I had to do it today.
