Necrobumping is still against the rules. If this was implemented, then we would probably get a lot of old threads being brought back and leaving no room for newer, more relevant threads. A better way would be to use threads whose last reply was within the last 30 days, and that you haven't replied to/viewed yet. Or, if you're really active and have seen/replied to everything, go outside, seriously then it could redirect you to one that you haven't viewed/replied to in a while. This is theoretical, I don't actually know if the site can do this.
