It's fine if you don't like it. Not everyone does. In any group of people, there will be people who dislike a thing, regardless of how good the rest of the group thinks it is. For example, I have a friend who doesn't like chocolate. Most people can agree that chocolate is delicious, but she doesn't like it. At all.

If you want to give Doctor Who another try though, I suggest watching either Blink or Girl in the Fireplace, or Eleventh Hour. The first two were Tenth Doctor episodes, written by Steven Moffat and are seen as some of the best episodes in the series. The third was also written by Moffat, but with the Eleventh Doctor. Eleventh Doctor is a decent place to start because you don't need to have watched Ninth and Tenth Doctors to understand what's going. New Companion, new Doctor, etc.

Once I had a four hour and fifteen minute shift with two breaks. I think one of the new supervisors wrote that schedule in. It was a good day.
