Oh, I don't even have a Ps4 yet. In fact, I may not even get that, or the game for some time. I just wanted to claim it so no one else would.

Alas, there is still nothing that new to report on the title of Kingdom Hearts III, but with Japan's launch of the Playstation 4 this month, the title will be apearing alongside Final Fantasy XV in numerous magazines. Today, Sqex.Info has translated some scans from a recent Degenki article with comments from Shinji Hashimoto.

Again, nothing entirely new, but he does give some insight on the appeal of possibilities on the next gen console.
It can be read below, with the news find courtesy to @Misty

I just kind of put a stop to them since there were only around 10 entries per list. That's pretty good, but I felt it affected the overall statistics when tagged with countdowns with a large variety, so I put them on hold for about a year now. This is just to see if I can get 15 or more saying they're interested. I also extended the time from every 2 weeks, to every month.

D'daear did make a valid point. Whatever this beast was fighting fr, it wasn't to hurt anyone. Not too badly, anyways. But if there were to contain such a thing, they would need to isolate it in one area and wear him down before attempting to reason. He would have like to avoid this fight, but he did lead the charge, and as long as there were other people that needed protecting, he would continue to help them. Most of his equipped spells were defensive, mind the earth one that Yen Sid had recently given them. If he used that one, he could at least keep him in one place for 10 seconds or so. It was a spell normally meant to be placed around the user, but if he found a way to cast it on the beast, it could at least contain him in a small space of circled mines. Hopefully stepping on them wouldn't damage him too greatly.

"If we're not going to hurt him, we need to at least contain him and wear him down. Soothe the savage beast, I guess?" His guess was as good as any since reasoning had gotten them no where. Luna was the last to hurt him crucially with a swift kick across his face, so to add onto it, Krowley added his earth spell. "Mine Shield!" a cascade of mines surrounded the Beast's footing, as he stumbled around from a hit to the head. His head was in too much of a daze to realize where his hind legs were stepping, as he stepped on one of the mines behind him, springing him forward from a weak explosive charge. The beast ushed back into the middle of the field again, but just getting more and more enraged as his eyebrows and snout could clearly show.

"Yes, of course," Maurice replied. "I only went to Gaston because of how highly everyone talks about him. Everyday I her a story about that man. Everyone seems to love him, everyone except my daughter that is. She finds him repulsing, and would much rather be in her books. But I know that girl. She's strong. But so's that Beast, which means we need to hurry as much as we can!" He held his lantern up as Eon, Karina and Kross followed closely behind. In a way, he did feel bad for bring them into this, but he could admit when he was wrong. Though a genius inventor, he wasn't all that experienced or skilled in the art of heroics. He just liked to tinker away with his tools. If it wasn't for taking a wrong turn prior to his capture, he wouldn't have accidentally found the castle.

"Now let's see here... I took a right at these woods, and that's when I heard-" A sharp growl entered his ear drums. "Th-that..." he stuttered.
A few grey wolves began to surround the group, very hungry looking indeed. Dark grey fur and vicious yellow eyes, a dozen of them had appeared on the spot, surrounding them.
"Oh I was afraid of this, we need to go back!" He attempted to turn, but they were indeed covered from all corners.
"What are we going to do now?..." he asked in worry.

At the sword in the stone...

"Well, I'm stumped," a disgruntled Nequa sighed. "I tried every spell I know and you don't even budge for me." She tilted her arms and examined the sword once again. "Whoever pulls the sword from this stone is the rightful King of all England... What am I, not worthy? Is it because I'm a woman? Are you one of those swords, because you're just being mean now." She stepped back to look at it from a different view. "Or... maybe you just need the proper champion to force you out... And if you're the sword I think you are, then I know the perfect candidate..."

She turned around her to an empty field of snow. She connected her thumbs and index fingers together until purple lightning radiated from her hands.

"Of space and time, and will of mind,
I free you from your cell confined.
I summon thee as my employed,
and break your shackles from the Void!"

A hue of darkness came from the ground in front of her, swirling out a hulking figure to tower over her, standing at seven feet easy. He had six arms with a weapon in each hand, making him a terribly dangerous looking opponent.
The face looked up to see his new master, widening his small eyes. "You..."
"Gilgamesh, it's been a while..." Nequa greeted.
"But how are you... how did-" Gilgamesh was in awe. From this standpoint it was clear that the two had met prior, but still not clarified as to where are when.
"Gilgy, I'd love to catch up, but yas you can tell, I'm in a bit of a pickle. You see, I need a big, strong guy to help me with a widdie biddie favor."
"And why should I help you, Witch? Even if you look different, I know what you're capable of. Your presence reeks of it."
"Aww, you're still mad? I thought I would go ahead and give you a shot at the one thing, you've yearned for." Nequa stepped aside so Gilgamesh could focus his attention on the enchanted sword.
"NO WAY! It can't be.. it's... it's..." This is the only sword he truly cared for, and it was beautifully presented to him.
"Yup. Excalibur... Right for the plucking."

Back at the castle of the Forest suave....

"Naturally I knew of the increase in stars, but of all places; why here? Their hasn't been a heartless in sight. Wait... do you know of the heartless?... Oh dash it all, then! This is why time travel should not be given to the inexperienced. Something bad happens, and the damage is so hard to undue." Merlin covered his head in stress as Goofy looked around in question.
"Uhh, say Merlin. Why're we whisperin'?" he asked shyly.
"Because lad, Wart is not to know of these other worlds. Yes I am teaching him, but only the knowledge that can be used to better himself in THIS world. It's not his time to see what's out there!"
"What's out where, Merlin?" The skinny boy had overheard his last words from the wizard's increased volume to to decreasing patience.

"Nothing boy, just some business we won't be discussing any further."
    "But Merlin-"
"Goofy, I said we are done discussing it. Now if you would be so kind, I need you to take young Wart here on your way back to town. I know you just came from there, but he has some silly business to do."
Wart frown at his lack of interest. "It's not silly, it's official squire duties. If I do 'em right, my brother Kay will let me be his squire!" he said, proudly.
"Foster brother lad. And those 'duties' you prattle on about are just ways of him pushing you around. I keep telling you boy, work on the mind to get where you want to go. I didn't choose to tutor you for my own needs, you know."
Wart at this time had begun to fiddle around with a small, wind-up airplane that was perched alongside several maps. "But you're helping Goofy train to be a squire. Couldn't we just switch for a day or so?" he argued.

"That' a nice thought, but Goofy is, uh-" Merlin paused at a way to put it delicately. "Already as clever as they come. And I only agreed to help Goofy become a knight so that he could use his skills to protect, instead of slashing swords around all willy-nilly. For dear sakes lad, why do you think I give him nothing sharp. His shield is the only weapon I allowed him, since the others weren't the best fit." Goofy looked at the shield Merlin permitted him to use. It was a good fit and he was slowly learning to utilize it to it's full potential.

"It's just not fair..." Wart lamented.
"Sure, you think that now, but just you wait. You\ll get a higher calling, I promise you that." He patted the boy's back a few times before his eyes drifted to the clock.
"By my own beard, is that the time! I'd best be going!" Merlin began to shove everyone out as he was closely following. I have an important meeting with some one I need to get to so, uh Wart if you could keep an eye on these four and escort the Goofy- I mean, Escort the time and meet the- Oh, you know what I mean!" The wizard pushed everyone out the door in a quick hurry. They were both going to the same place, but he still wished to keep it hidden from the boy.

Trailer was released about a week ago, but there's something charming I find about this game. It was apparently inspired by Final Fantasy 6, and has classic turn based combat.

Powered by UbiArt Framework (Same engine used for recent Rayman games)
Ubisoft announced that it releases April 30th as a digital download.

Base had cast his spell on the beast, only to be blocked off by Steel.
"Sir, I must implore you to calm yourself: We will leave as you say as soon as we are done, we have just cause to be here." He looked at Steel with cold, uncaring eyes, making him more furious that they refused to leave. Who was this talking beast? The master's odd pet? Then again this world did have many odd things. The furniture was talking, so it didn't surprise him as much as Krowley thought it would. But it was five against one so if it did turn to violence, they were well prepared.

He murmured under his own breath. "I don't know how you got here... but you won't be staying very long," the Beast snarled. He didn't seem very well composed and lacked much patience.

"Well...alright. If we're going to do this...then I got your backs!" D'daear yelled. The newest addition would hopefully prove helpful as Krowley learned to never underestimate an enemy. He looked big, fast, and strong. His main focus would be to keep his distance, not wishing to battle him through close combat. Whatever his cause was, that beast seemed to want to get to the girl that just left for the east wing.

"GET OUT!" he roared, preparing another charge.
"I'm going after the girl!" Luna yelled as she attempted to go after the west wing. Upon hearing this, the Beast looked up in shock and backhanded Steel to run right past the other three, slithering his way in front of Luna. He lunged in front of her and pushed her away from the door.
"YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR HER!" he stated.
Well this was a pickle indeed. They didn't want him going after her, and he didn't want them going after her. Shame it wasn't easily resolved, but alas, he wasn't going to just leave them there.
The party's main objective now, was to guard the west wing. Hopefully they'd stall him long enough before a proper solution could be found.
"Well neither are you," Krowley said confidently.

"Oh thank you! THANK YOU!" he bowed down and shook Karina and Kross' hands vigorously. "You have no idea how much I need this help. No one else will believe me!" He looked to Eon with a bit of disconcern.
"But uh... well, is it really suitable to bring a small child along?" he asked.
"We'll help get your daughter back, sir. We can guard you back to the castle as well if you'll show us the way," Eon smiled, trying to comfort him.
    |Yes, well uh.. I guess I can;t turn down that kind of assistance. Just be careful young lad." Maurice patted Eon's head as he lit his lantern and led the way.
"Mind you, it's very chilly. I myself wouldn't be caught dead in this weather, but my daughter Belle needs me! Who knows what that Beast could be doing to her. I just can;t rest knowing she must be so cold an afraid."

With their time wasting brawl out of the way, the next logical course of action was to find the keyhole. The again, the kingdom was probably crawling with more guards... Not to mention they still had a score to settle with Flynn Rider. Last they recalled, he fled into the forest...

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Goofy had led the group to the top of the crumbled tower. He stood a foot away from the door and knocked twice. "Hey Merlin! Got some visitors if that's okay!" He opened the door to reveal a cluster of books, furniture and things you would most likely find at a gift shop. But the books were the things that most crowded the room. The only life were the two people sitting at a table covered in a white tablecloth. The first was an old man with a light blue hat and robe. His white beard and wizard's hat were long indeed. Next to him, was a young blonde boy no older than twelve.

"Hmm? Oh terribly sorry Goofy I didn't expect you," he said as he got up from his seat. "Yes I...I... I didn't expect you." Merlin took a moment to pause at the sheer ridiculous of that sentence. "Well that can't be, I've accounted for all future sightings, and yet you and your friends aren't supposed to be back until- Oh now wait a gosh darn minute! Who in blazes are these fellows! Oh by the mind of Archimedes, they're other worlders aren't they?" Merlin seemed more displeased than upset.

"Eyup! They're here lookin' for somethin'. Thought maybe you could help them out."
"Ooooh, I know exactly what they after. And they won't find it here! It's not their destiny. If you aren't some form of animal, than your a key wielder. it's just always the same with you lot, isn't it? Just going from world to world, and meddling as you please. You probably don't even know the damage you cause!"
    "Worlds?" The boy asked.
"Hmm? Oh, well pay no attention to that Wart, that wasn't uhh... wasn't meant to be heard by you. Ehehe..." He softly stepped towards the four behind Goofy and began to whisper.
"Now I don't know what you're doing here, but I can tell you right now that you won't get any help from me. The world's have been in enough chaos as it is!"

News has been a little slow of late, and in hopes of increasing some activity, I've been permitted by staff to see if site members would like to see the return of "KHV's Top 10." For those who don't know, the Top 10 was a countdown of several Kingdom Hearts related subjects from the votes of site members. The reason it was discontinued was due to a lack of votes, which caused a weak consensus to go on.

So in hopes of reviving these editorial pieces, I'd like to see how many members would pose interest in seeing the return of these fun little countdowns. Subjects can relate to recent news on upcoming titles, and any graphic artists can have their hand at volunteering to produce visuals. So if you would like to see a return of this, please post your interest below, or like the thread.

The initial thread with a link to all previous countdowns can be found here!

Steel sped on ahead of the rest of the group, with the rest of the party trailing behind him. Past the stone walls of the underground dungeon, they had entered into the West hall of the estate, which featured a lovely red carpet that followed the hall, along with numerous suits of armor. The halls were wide enough to fit their entire brigade of wielders, and tall enough to glide around without fear of breaking anything. This castle was indeed old and massive, much to the admirer's knowledge. But there was little time to admire, as there was still the matter of the monstrous noise to attend to.

The journey wasn't long, for the group managed to reach the entrance hall within a matter of minutes. And no heartless distractions!
The Entrance hall, was grande as well, but the it was still dark and somber like the rest of the castle. They had just emerged from the western hall, and across from them was an staircase leasing to the Eastern one. Down below, a foyer with the exit, and next to it; a dimly lit room. Easily spotted as it was the only place in the castle where light resonated from.

They arrived just in time to see a young woman leave the room in teary eyes. Like something had upset the long haired brunette.
"DON'T YOU WALK AWAY WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU!" a voice followed as she stormed out of the room. Her face was in her hands, and she zoomed right past the party, and up the eastern staircase.
"I SAID GET BACK HERE!" the voice roared. From out of the room, a monstrous beast appeared. With horns, fangs, rigid fur; the whole package. He spoke in a gurff voice to boot. It was unfortunate that the first thing he spotted when exiting the room, were those five.

"What... are you doing... in my castle?"
    His castle? Krowley thought.
"You shouldn't be here! Now get out!"
Upon his four legged charge, Krowley summoned his keyblade and took a defensive stance.
"We're not going anywhere!" He yelled back.
The Beast's head lifted up in shock. "Rrrrr, if you won't leave... THEN I'll MAKE YOU!" The ticked off monster stood on his hind legs and rose tall above them. Nearly 7 or 8 feet from his toes to his horns. He was definitely intimidating, but there was no way he was going after that poor woman.
"Maybe you didn't hear me... I said stand ASIDE!" He let loose another roar to see if they would flee.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    GROUP B

The keybladers fled the tavern, leaving the drunks to their beer, and Gaston to his ego. What they did not know is that a hooded woman in a black dress was sitting on the far end, eavesdropping.
"Looks like the hunt is on," she said in a calm, lucid manner.

"Th-the beast," he repeated. "I was on my way to the inventor's carnival when I got lost. I took shelter in his castle and was tended to by enchanted household items. There was a candlestick, and a teapot, and what I believe to be a small grandfather clock." His story was so far proving to be unconvincing. "And then- and then, HE found me. His servants tried to keep him calm but he wouldn't listen. He didn't want anyone in his castle or to even look at him! He kept me in the dungeon as punishment for days. My daughter had somehow found me and told the beast that she would stay in my place. I begged her not to, but that girl is as stubborn as I am... And now, HE has her! On the other end of the forest. I'd go back if I could, but the wolves would eat me alive!" Maurice was practically in tears. He had lost his daughter, and was too frail to get her.

Guess you could say I just trust that things'll work out okay. I know that ain't much to believe, but it's just who I am. "There it is. The Castle of the Forest Suave!" Goofy paused for effect at the stone castle before them. "This here isn't Merlin's home, but he's staying in the tower so he can teach Arthur some uh... Acaduh..." Goofy thought about it for a few seconds before dismissing it. "Well, here's here to teach my buddy Arthur! He should be up in that tower up there! He pointed towards the rickety, crumbling tower. "Watch yer step now. It's kinda dangerous climbing up," He lead the cast through the light snow and towards the eastern tower. " Merlin will probably be expectin' you guys.
