( OOC :: POINTLESS POST IS POINTLESS )( DAY :: 12 - 1/3 ) • ( DECEMBER 11, 2012 ) • ( LOCATION :: HOTEL HALLS )( YOU • ME • NAMES • LINKS • HATE ) • ( MOOD :: THOUGHTFUL ) Vanille walked through the hallways, deep in thought. Normally, her walk would be a near-skip, but with what was going on, she couldn't waste time on her normal, childish behavior - no matter how much she liked it. So she remembered what happened at Antilum, but no one else had. Or was there someone else that did? It had to be someone who was there . . . Maybe not? There was no way of knowing unless she was following all of the people from the email at once. She thought of a good idea. A post to Tumblr ought to do something, right? Her mind started wrapping around all of the people who had come back to life. They were just humans, after all, and would probably freak out if she told them that they died in the future! It was definitely best to keep that tidbit to herself, for now. Besides, one of the restrictions on her person was to staaaaaay impersonal. To not care - but she was just human, too! Under her mask, she made a pouting face. Right before she was about to take it off ( for just a moment! ) her ears perked at the sound of carpeted footsteps, and she looked up. Harley. It was Harley! She wanted to bound towards him and grasp him into a tight hug - but instead she just stood there. He noticed her a few seconds after she noticed him, and she thought he might pass her, but instead kept watching her until he finally grew suspicious enough to stop. She wanted to shout at the top of her lungs that she didn't mean to be suspicious, that she was glad to see him, but she couldn't, not without him completely disregarding him. Harley Jackson was a bit of a different person now, and she had to handle him a bit . . . differently. ❝Sorry,❞ he said suddenly, and she almost jumped, ❝do I know you?❞ Mmhm, he was definitely a different person now. She just didn't know if she was going to be able to do this! ❝Harley Jackson.❞ Damn. Her voice had failed her. ❝You are Harley Jackson, aren't you?❞ He took a moment to think before replying. The both of them were uncomfortable with this situation, but Vanille knew that he was handling it better. ❝Who's asking?❞ ❝I am. You can call me Vanilla. Strange, I know, but seriously.❞ She usually didn't talk like that, and usually didn't tell people to call her Vanilla, usually didn't time travel, usually didn't be nervous in the face of intimidation - she usually didn't do a lot of things, but what choice did she have right now? This situation was bad enough, and getting Harley Jackson to believe what she had to tell him ( because she had to tell him, of course! ) was going to be the worst. ❝Kallisti Lein. Your cousin.❞ she continued, ❝She's alive, right?❞ ❝. . .❞ ❝Please, Harley Jackson, answer me.❞ she said. ❝Yes.❞ ❝Then I really did go back in time . . .❞ This was more of a final confirmation than anything else, but she had wondered if he heard it, ❝Come with me, please, I need to talk to you.❞ . . . ❝You won't be offended if I say I don't believe you, will you?❞ he asked her with a skeptical tone, about half an hour later. She knew it would be like this, but she had to persevere. ❝With all of the strange things that have been happening to you,❞ she began in an earnest tone, ❝You won't believe me?❞ ❝Well, for starters, I can't see your face.❞ he responded, leaning back in the chair and crossing his arms. ❝I'd like to think that I'm pretty good at telling a liar by their expressions.❞ Oh no, not this bump in the road. She hated this bump in the road. It was more like a mountain in the road. No, no, no, she couldn't do this . . . B - But what if it was the only way to make Harley believe her? Terrible, this was really terrible! She almost wanted to cry. ❝Well?❞ . . . ❝. . . W - Will you believe me if you c - could see my f - face?❞ Her voice was small by the end. If he said yes, so help her, she just knew she wouldn't be able to stop crying. ❝If I can tell that you're not lying, yeah.❞ It was all she could do to not heave and ho her breaths. . . . ❝Incredibly far fetched, but . . . ❞ She leaned in, forgetting for the moment that she was naked in front of him, ❝I guess I wouldn't put it past a demon.❞ From emotional exhaustion, Vanille laid her head on the table and breathed heavily, almost like she was trying to get clean air into her lungs. ❝Th - Thank you . . . ❞ ❝This doesn't mean that anyone else should know.❞ Harley said, and she lifted her eyes ( which were covered by white sclera contacts ) ❝If she brought us back to this specific day, that means that something happened that could have been avoided, something that needed to change. But what? If you really think that other people know, then they'll be keeping an eye out as well. Things might turn out differently. Madeline Moore and Temperance Spike might not be dead by the morning time.❞ He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. She knew that the subject was changing now. ❝About . . . Kallisti dying, is that really true, too?❞ he asked slowly, and she lifted her head completely and gave him the most solemn look she could muster. He sighed at seeing it and she could tell that he was really sad. ❝Maybe . . . That can be averted, somehow.❞ She nodded vigorously, her mood shifting. ❝Second chances, huh . . . ?❞ ❢xxxxxxxx❢xxxxxxxx❢ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Anthony was a good kid. But . . . What was he saying. Time travel? " Well, you're definitely not dead, kiddo, " he said with a smile, tempted to ruffled Anthony's hair, " Quin is a little . . . angry at me all of the time, so she's probably downstairs if you really wanna go look for her. " He began to think of what he should do now. They were at a hot springs, so he might as well go check those out, " I'm gonna head downstairs to check out the springs now. Come along if you want, I don't mind. " He didn't wait for a reply as he walked off and entered the elevator. Downstairs, Harley walked down one of the many halls that led to the hot springs. It would definitely be great to go and take a dip in them. He sighed to himself as that feeling of deja vu began to wear off. The question about it was, why had it felt so strong before? Maybe he was getting sick or something. Stress? Haha. Harley didn't know the meaning of it. When he rounded a corner, he saw a person walking the opposite direction. A girl, with a mask. She stopped at the sight of him. Why a mask? She seemed to watch him as he continued to walk. Just a couple of feet away from her, he stopped and for a long moment the two of them stared at each other. " Sorry, " he said a bit gruffly, " do I know you? " It was like she didn't hear him. Was this a mechanic of Crestatia or something? " Harley Jackson. " she said, her voice small and slightly nervous, " You are Harley Jackson, aren't you? " Eh, he didn't like where this was going, " Who's asking? " " I am. You can call me Vanilla. Strange, I know, but seriously. " She really did seem serious. What was this about? " Kallisti Lein. This again? First Anthony, now this girl with a mask on. Did they know each other? Vanilla. Vanille? Her name was on the list. " Come with me, please, " Her tone was almost pleading, " I need to talk to you. " xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

For some reason . . . For some reason, he was just glad to see her. It wasn't a maliciously tinted gladness, but a genuine gladness that could have him kissing her. Haha, yeah right. But he couldn't shake that feeling. He thought that she and Anthony were going to go down to the dining room, and he was going to follow them, but then another girl had made an appearance. Anthony called her Eleanora. She was a small, cutsy girl with brown hair and blue eyes. Anthony seemed to know her, but she was surprised. " Yes, Eleanora is my name! He didn't remember if they went to school together or not. She seemed extremely whimsical, but he . . . couldn't shake this feeling about her. He shrugged his shoulders and then looked at Kallisti. She was staring at him with a confused look on her face, but when he found her eye contact, she looked away and he could tell she was embarrassed. " E - Excuse me . . . Where was the warm chest? Where was she even? . . . This was her hotel room. She remembered this room. Why was she in this room? This room . . . She had been here on a mission, given to her by mom. It wasn't like the other missions she went on - mom said this was personal, and Vanille had been free at the time, but . . . She remembered that she didn't want to go on this mission because it would make her very sad. Mom wanted her to come because of the strange things that had started happening in Coy City, in which a particular pair of cousins were involved. They weren't actually cousins, but only one of them knew that. But how did she end up back here? She knew, knew, knew that she had just experience an explosion at Antilum. Maybe she was dreaming? Maybe she was in a coma? No, her body was trained better than that. Kidnapped? Unlikely. Vanille grabbed her phone from the nighstand that was so familiar and checked the date. December 11th. 2012. Twelve days after she had gotten that strange email that said she was going to die. It had been day forty-five, before. What happened to that? Oh, she was just so confused! . . . If this was day twelve, that meant many of the people who had died were still alive. This included one of the two cousins, Anthony Evans, Elizabeth Evans, John Quincy . . . The list was becoming more complete. Who'd died by this day? Abigail Rider. Xavier Creed. Thomas Adams. Ashina Takahashi. They were still dead, if today really was only the twelfth day. Ow, ow . . . Her head spun - she just couldn't wrap her mind around this! Could it have something to do with that woman . . . Analynne? Vanille fluidly hopped out of her bed and took a look in the mirror, and then at the shame of her existence. Her face. It was definitely only day twelve. That X-mark on her cheek was still red. She looked around, grabbed a black and white mask and slipped it onto her face. It was time to do a bit of scouting. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

A few moments later, the same sick feeling that overcame her in the room seemed to overcome him, " You didn't . . . Harley was talking for a bit when . . . " Harley? She glared at the name. Anthony seemed to be having a great deal of trouble with the world around him, and his breathing halted. Immediately, she blamed Crestatia. " Anthony . . . It would definitely be a lie to say that Kallisti was disappointed at Madeline just suddenly appearing in her room, that they were going to share rooms, but this was . . . not good. She felt a bit too strongly for Madeline - not a sort of friendship, though they might be close to something of the kind, but rather . . . Well. It was difficult to admit. She didn't want to admit it. She was having trouble admitting it. It would definitely be a horrid idea to say anything to Madeline ( or anyone else, for that matter ) about this. " Aah, Quin . . . She thought about all of wonderful-looking people she had seen earlier in the evening. There had been a ticking sound in the room, when she left. She hadn't thought anything about it then, but not, it was at the forefront of her mind. It could be nothing else but some sort of bomb, and if she didn't hurry, it would go off. They would all die, for sure. Even Theodore, who had said he liked her mask. She couldn't let Harley and his lady-friend die, either. She found herself standing in that lounge - perfect! She looked around the large, empty room and found the hall that they had gone down before. Her breath was coming in rasps, but this run was nothing new to her body. Her hand flew up to her face to make sure that the mask was still firmly in place, and thankfully it was. Some night this had turned out to be! She ran again down the hall and looked at all the doors. If the building was in lock down, passcodes wouldn't work. She looked at the door. What kind of metal was it made out of? . . . Nothing a bit of C4 wouldn't take care of. She lifted up her skirt and reached for the utility belt that she wore under. Mom had told her not to, had demanded she not wear it, but Vanille couldn't help it. It was always needed. Always. Luckily, she also always carried about five pounds of small C4 bombs with her. They ranged in power dosage, and to open this door, she wouldn't need much. Probably two small 5 ounces. The bombs were two thin, round tablets, with a single black button on top. She licked the back of each and then pressed them on to the door. Up, inside the ceiling, she could hear movement over the alarms. Someone else had climbed through the vents. She pressed the two buttons and ran down the hall again, counting down. 5 . . . 4 . . . 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . . Boom. She ran to the newly bombed door and heard that ominous ticking again. Everyone was in a stupor, ❝Come on!❞she yelled at them, and they all began to scramble. Harley grabbed his lady-friend and they were the first out of the room. She looked at the others, and then heard the ceiling fall through over her, ❝Theo!❞ she cried, seeing him on the ground and then helping him up, ❝Come on, we've gotta run, I think there's a bomb inside the room!❞ She pulled him along for a second, and then let go of him, chasing after Harley and the girl. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

She had yelped, being startled, but when the woman disappeared, the building went into lock down. Alarms and flashing red lights went off and although everyone else began to panic, she stayed calm. She had been here before, in this kind of situation. It's a good thing she was wearing good active shoes today. Quickly, her eyes scanned the room. All of the doors were locked, but when she looked up she found the ventilation system. Perfect. She discarded everyone else, smoothly hopped onto the table and then punched the vent upwards and dragged it down where it then clattered on the table. She needed to get out of here. What about the others? She clicked her tongue. It was protocol to help all civilians - but only if she could. The ventilation system wouldn't hold all of their weight up, surely it would crash. ❝I - I'll try to get the rest of you guys out!❞ she called down when she was snug in the vents. Taking a breath, Vanille began to move through the actions that had been called for so many times before. She crawled through the system, beginning to sweat slightly, but glad that the heater wasn't on. she looked through a few of the other vents that she passed trying to find one that would lead her to the hallway outside of the conference room. From her bra, she grabbed her phone and checked the time; close to midnight. After ten grueling minutes of crawling, she kicked open a vent, and jumped down into the hallway. Ah, that's right, most of them in this sector of the building looked the same. Her eyes searched for any trace that this was the hallway she needed to be in. She looked back up at the vent and began to mentally trace her path back to the room. Damn. This was the wrong hall. She set off at an easy sprint, the alarms loud and blaring. What now? She needed to get those others out of the room. She was supposed to be a normal girl tonight. This was supposed to be her night. Her one, normal night. She . . . seems to capable of more emotions than just amusement and cruelty, as one of her recent victims told me that she hated her. I never got the reason. " He seemed to be the only one talking, so he went on, " I haven't had anything too big happen to me until recently, when I lost my . . . cousin, Kallisti. " he cringed at that, seeing as her death had been only three days ago, " The rules are set so that it's basically impossible not to break them because there're also a set of sub-rules. Crestatia is a tricky, thorough one, so there's not been any loopholes yet . . . " Not that he hadn't tried to find them, but they seemed so goddamned impossible to find. " No one that I know of has broken the rules and survived. It seemed that a few of the other guests weren't moving, but Harley didn't pay attention to them, took Heidi's arm and led her in the direction that followed Theo. Just when he thought the building couldn't be any bigger, the hallways stretched on even longer. Impressive. It was a bit scary, the whole thing. The conference room was spacious and very modern, matching much of the rest of Antilum Labs. Come to think of it, it looked a bit like a room on a ship. Harley Jackson and his friend were already sitting down near the head of the table and she decided to take her own seat across from them, a chair or two down. Harley gave her a look that might have been a glare, but she only smiled at him. ❝So exactly . . .❞ Harley started when more people came, ❝is your goal here? Or do you want this to be a team effort?❞ He almost sounded a bit sarcastic at the end. That wasn't a good way to make friends. Nopenope. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

ALL THE FOOD! )( DAY :: 45 - 3/3 ) • ( JANUARY 13, 2013 ) • ( LOCATION :: ANTILUM )( YOU • ME • NAMES • LINKS • HATE ) • ( MOOD :: CHEERFUL ) Vanille almost giggled when he jumped and heard him curse under his breath. A bit witless, wasn't he? ❝Uh . . . Hello.❞ She tilted her head and watched him try to be relaxed and not . . . stiff. It seemed that he was having a hard time, wasn't he? Maybe he wasn't good with talking to people. Being around people? Hmm. Well, not everyone could talk like her, but she couldn't overwhelm him with herself on their first meet. ❝Nice to meet you, . . . ?❞ ❝Vanille.❞she said with a smile, popping a strawberry covered with sugar into her mouth. She took a moment to chew and swallow, then continued, ❝Vanille Frost. It's nice to meet you, too, " she said cheerfully, and abstained from grabbing his hand to shake it. So maybe she was a little too excited about meeting people, especially people her age, but it had been a long time since she didn't meet someone who was over 25. As she studied his tense face, she realized that he must have been suspicious of her, and her hand self-consciously went to her mask. It seemed to cover up the tattoo on her cheek fairly well, so he probably - hopefully - didn't see it. ❝Do . . . you like my mask?❞ she asked, slightly tense, her tone changing into something stranger, ❝I made it a long time ago . . . I like making masks.❞ It was very relaxing, and to show off her work by wearing them, that made her feel even better. There was something in his stare that bothered her, but she tried to shove it away as she heard a bit of a commotion on the other side of the room. From her peripheral, she saw that someone had spilled something, but it was already being taken care of. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
[ T U M B L R • CURRENTLY OBSERVING : GERMAN GIRL // MASKED GIRL // ELLIOT ANDERSON • L A T E S T ][ OOC : MIGHT BE MY LAST POST OF THE NIGHT. MAYBE. IDK. " Yes, " the other boy had answered, " And I - I wouldn't say he is. " Harley thought not - or actually, he'd hoped not. It'd be a lie to say he hadn't gained a bit of interest in Theodore, but it was nothing special. Before Harley could reply, a few things happened. The person who had walked in was oddly clothed, with a short, strapless dress, Converse, and a mask. He recognized that small figure - and he had seen her before. What was she doing here? Augh, don't tell him that she was on the list of names, too. Which one was she? There were a few he'd yet to meet, but she could be only one of them. It was against his better judgment to get up and go talk to her because of Heidi, but he wanted to soon. Then there was the flamboyant, annoying blonde boy. Who said that kind of thing? 'My brothers and sisters'? Seriously. What a strange character, so Harley decided to ignore him. And then there was the German girl. She was quite the looker, he had to admit, but she seemed nervous. Probably because she didn't know anyone around ( or it seemed like that to him ) . He watched as she looked over in their general direction, but made no motion to move, so she grabbed a drink instead. After tasting it a few times, he saw her moving over. Oh, boy. She tripped. Harley almost laughed, but the girl seemed to be in horror as things went down. Unfortunately, he wasn't fast enough to catch the drink or the girl and that poor kid was drenched with who-knew-what. Harley should have known that the kid was a germaphobe - he'd been wearing a medical mask after all, and now, to be dirty . . . He didn't want to imagine how he felt. The girl was spewing out German he could barely understand, trying to help out Elliot ( what she'd called him ), but Elliot was a bumbling mess and decided to give up. Harley was on his feet, making his way towards one of the servants, " We seem to have a little . . . mess over here, could you help out and get this kid some clean clothing and a new . . . mask-thing? " he asked the one standing by. The servant nodded and began to move into action. " Hey, " Harley said to Elliot, " You alright, kid? " he said, moving a hand in front of his face, " One of the servants is gonna help you out. " He looked back at Heidi, and then to the others around the room. What an interesting bunch they were. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
( OOC :: WEEEEE! )( DAY :: 45 - 2/3 ) • ( JANUARY 13, 2013 ) • ( LOCATION :: ANTILUM )( YOU • ME • NAMES • LINKS • HATE ) • ( MOOD :: EXCITED ) ❝Remember, you're there to make an impression, not scout, okay?❞ she told her as she fixed her hair that always wanted to stay indefinitely messy, ❝Tonight, you're a normal girl.❞ The first thing she did after the woman stopped touching her was grab her black and white mask and stick it to her face. The woman sighed, ❝You have such a beautiful face, love, I don't know why you hide it . . .❞ She thought about replying. Thought about it. Thought. Thought. But shook her head. Nopenopenope, she would not reply to that. The valet helped her out of the car and her creamy-orange converse touched the ground as her body met the cool air. She almost giggled at how refreshing it was. It took all of her power not to skip into the building and through it when the servant met her. Antilum was a place she knew very well, but this was her first time coming as a guest . . . And she got to officially meet Theodore Weldon, Elliot Anderson, and Harley Jackson! Exciting, exciting. She could also meet that girl who was with Harley, too. She was excited for tonight, but she had to be on her best behavior, mom told her, she had to treat it like one of her missions, but have fun and be . . . normal at the same time. It shouldn't be too hard, right? Her feet carried her into the large room were the party was being held and it was all she could do to not jump up and down with excitement. Another servant took her jacket Immediately, she spotted the three boys she had been so eager to meet, and the girl who sat next to one of them. Three other people were already there, too, but she didn't care about them right now. Well, except maybe the girl, but definitely not the two boys. Calmly, she strode past the couches where Harley and Elliot sat and went over to the snack table to make a small place of delicious sweets. She wondered if they had ice cream here. ❝I've only met him once, but . . . is he always like that?❞ she heard Harley ask about Theodore. ❝No, he's not,❞ she sang to herself after grabbing strawberries and sugar. Whoops, that sounded stalkerish, she thought to herself. That's the one thing she hated. Just because she knew lots of things about people who didn't really know her, didn't mean she was a stalker. Her mood suddenly shifted and she put down her plate. ❝Tonight, you're a normal girl.❞ Mom's words rang in her mind. Normal meant no sudden mood swings, so she tried to control her overwhelming sadness and managed pretty well. Right after that, she saw that Theodore was standing next to her. He was taller than her, no fun. ❝Hello,❞ she managed to say elegantly. Normal. She had to act normal. Hopefully, he wouldn't drop his plate or anything. ❢xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx❢xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It was judgmental. He seemed like the nervous sort though, so he made no comment on it and turned back to Theo when the host replied. " Nice to see you again, Harley! " he began in, what was to Harley, a too-chipper tone, " I'm hoping this get together will prove effective in stopping C, not encouraging her. " He tried not to snort, he really did, but it slipped out anyway, " Uh . . . huh. " Obviously, Theo'd never been involved in any incidents with Crestatia. Why always the BAE kids? It was kind of annoying. This was definitely not the Theo that he'd met in the library. What was he trying to prove by acting this way? He clicked his tongue as three more people came in and Theo introduced himself. Harley didn't speak to them, and Heidi made no motion to move or speak either. When they were on the way here, he remembered that she didn't do too well in crowds, so he knew that he couldn't be away from her for long. He sat down one of the couches, the one across from where the other boy with blue eyes sat, and let go of Heidi's arm, remaining close to her, " I take it you're Theo's friend? " he asked the boy, hoping that he wouldn't stammer in his reply, " I've only met him once, but . . . Is he always like that? " He really hoped not. Another set of footsteps entered the large room, but Harley didn't bother looking over his shoulders to check who it was. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

[ T U M B L R • CURRENTLY OBSERVING : ANTILUM // THEODORE WELDON • L A T E S T ][ OOC : A LITTLE MORE GODDMODDING, GOMEN ][ DAY : 45 - 2/3 ] • [ JANUARY 13, 2013 ] • [ LOCATION : ANTILUM ][ YOU • ME • NAMES • LINKS • HATRED ] • [ MOOD : AMUSED ] Harley helped Heidi out of his car and then handed his keys to the valet who had shown himself. Just an hour or so before they arrived, he took her shopping to get something befitting of the event, since Theo told them they had to wear something nice. Harley was no pro will women's clothing, but he though he did a damn good job with helping Heidi pick out her outfit. She had been extremely reluctant to let him help her at all and had, at first, flat out rejected, but he figured it was because she was nervous. All in all, he'd like to say, they did a good job. The clothing had been a bit expensive, but he wouldn't let Heidi know that. He wondered if she was very materialistic. He was glad to see that she still wore the necklace that he gave her for Christmas. He wondered if Kallisti would be buried with hers. A sigh passed his lips and he adjusted the neck tie of his tuxedo [ Saxima doesn't like bowties, so fuck you. ] He wasn't going to wear it, but it might as well see some use. After he linked his arm with Heidi's more slender one, he guided her into the building. Antilum was very imposing, and he'd almost forgotten that it had such a sleek and modern design. It seemed that some sort of servant was waiting inside for the guests ( there were several of them, good god ), and the servant nodded his head at Harley and motioned for the two of them to follow. Conversation was scarce as he and Heidi were led over a long bridge that felt a bit higher than it should have. They walked into the wide elevator and were sped up. It's like the thing didn't even move, the transition was so smooth. He'd have to be honest, he was pretty impressed with this place. The thing about it was, since it was such a . . . marvel in both structure, service, and staff, Lorinda was involved somehow. He hoped she wasn't at the party. The room that they were guided into looked extremely comfy, and very big. Harley had seen rooms like this before, but with the style of it and the sheer size, it felt like he was new to the whole 'wealthy' experience. Goddamn. He didn't know Theo was loaded, but he shouldn't have expected anything else from a BAE native. And there was the host himself, sitting comfortably on one of the couches. This would be fun. He led Heidi over to Theo and nodded at him, " Hey, " he started, looking around again for effect on his next words, " Nice place you've got here. " he went on conversationally, " You sure you want C to destroy it? " The last bit was half joke, half serious because he really didn't know if the demoness would show herself tonight. It should be fun. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The situation wasn't that intense, but he didn't want to be caught. After Harley left Heidi's room, he had headed straight up to the sixth floor, where a head nurse was heading. When other people passed him, he made it seem as if he were following her because she told him to, but in reality, should would be his ticket into the one of the medicine rooms. Hopefully, all of the medicine in there would be labeled with the patient's name that it belonged to. It seemed that he had to follow her down a series of hallways where the main door was encrypted with a key, but when the door slid open, there was no one in the hall. One of the windows he passed had hospital lab coats in it and the door was unlocked, so he quickly slid in, grabbed one of the coats and the stethoscope that sat by a computer. To his luck, there was an ID card laying next to the computer and he grabbed it. Impressive, he thought to himself, high clearance. That would be able to get him where he wanted to go. Surely there were cameras around, so Harley pulled out a pair of glasses and parted his hair a different way. It didn't effect his appearance much, but it was better than before. He needed to get a haircut soon. Quietly, he slipped out of the room and sped walk to try and catch up with the nurse he had been following. It seemed like he lost her, until he heard the clicking of her flats against the tile floor. He tried to keep his own feet quiet against the tile, and that wasn't too hard because the soles of his shoe were rubber and he only had to worry about dragging them. Harley rounded the corner just in time to see the nurse walking into the room after sliding a card down a small panel. He clicked his tongue at the hospital's carelessness; the pads should be password protected instead. He waited a few minutes and saw the nurse come back out of the room, in time where he began to act as if he had been strolling down the hallway himself. He counted the steps until the two of them crossed paths and she said something, but it never came and she turned down the hallway, probably on her way back to the patient's room. One beep later and Harley was in a room with shelves of medicine. Just his luck, they were alphabetically ordered by last name. Ten minutes later, he was looking at three small bottles; two with pills and one with a syringe and liquid. He wondered the effects of each of them. The door opened and he almost dropped one of the bottles but quickly shoved them into his pockets. He quietly moved around the dim room that was only lit by neon blue lights and looking through the shelf holes, found that a security guard was looking around. Shit. he took a breath. He looked like a high end security guard. Vice-captain of the security here, maybe? He would have the keys to the emergency exit. Quietly, he tiptoed around three of the shelves until he found that he was leaning around into the same row that the guard was in. He must have been heard because the guard moved forward. It would have been easy to walk out of that room, but Harley needed those keys . . . He took another breath and moved forward, coming back-to-face with the guard. Harley raised his hands and pinched a nerve in the back of the guard's slightly meaty neck. A cry of pain was heard and Harley's other hand went for the nerve right in the shoulder, next to the neck. As he pressed harder and harder he guided the guard down to the lit floor. With a heavy sigh, he stood up and looked down at his handiwork. Not too bad for a short-notice plan. His hand immediately went to the guard's belt and grabbed the keys that would be their ticket out of there. As quickly and as nonchalantly as he could manage, Harley walked out of the medicine room and began making his way through the series of hallways that would lead him out. He stopped by the small side office and discarded his weak disguise. Just before he was home free - " Hey! " And he looked over his shoulder. Another guard was rushing at him. Harley laughed, shoved the medicine into his pockets and the chase began. It was just about this time that the hallways decided to become a bit crowded, but he had no issues freerunning through a patient-infested parkour stage - it was the guard who would have problems, but he had backup. People were screaming, nurses were yelling, some diving out of the way, and other guards were coming. He ran down a glass hallway where there was a clear view of the garden Heidi was in. Just a little while longer . . . and . . . Perfect, he found two gurneys! Harley grabbed them and violently shoved them in the direction of the two guards that had managed to keep up with him. one of them tripped, but the other jumped just in time. Harley rounded the corner and burst through the garden door to see the nurse that was with Heidi look at him with horror, but he just smiled. Luckily, she wasn't attached to any tubes and right when the door opened, Harley was sweeping the much smaller girl into his arms and snatching the security guard's keys from his pockets. " Catch you later! " he called back to the guard and nurse as he swept out the door and ran down the back of the hospital to the parking lot. Alarms were going off, people were flooding outside, and this was no longer the place to be. Harley only laughed though and looked down at the stunned, small Heidi in his arms, " Told you I'd get you out, " he laughed, filled with adrenaline and excitement. He wrapped his coat around her smaller frame and five minutes later, they were at his car. He opened the door, and sat Heidi in the passenger's side, quickly ducking out his head to check for any security on him. They were off in the distance, good. He slid over his hood and swung into his seat after opening the door. When they were on the road, he laughed again, " How do you feel about small get togethers? " xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
