Yo, so if you aren't out of the forest at this moment -- then you're going to be shipped off to a hospital. If you must post, then you should wake up in an ambulance -- or at the hospital. I don't care what you name the hospital as long as it's not ridiculous. It should be around 40 minutes from the camp. I REPEAT - IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY IN THE FOREST AND YOU DIDN'T POST TONIGHT / MISSED THE 'EVENT', YOU'RE GONE. GONNNNE TO THE HOSPITAL. Your belongings are at camp. If you don't post with your characters being moved to - or at the hospital ASAP, I'm probably going to kill you off. For everyone else, I'll post and update tomorrow. You can post, socializing and catching up. They'll be rounding everyone up into the loft, which is big and pretty and clean and safe with snacks and blankets. An assembly will be held informing you of what comes next / what happened.
『WEATHER』 SMOKY SKIES 70°! ✖ 『DATE & TIME』 6/17/2013 - 12:07AM ✖ 『DAY』 02 xxxx xxxxxxxxxx This is all my fault. This is all my fault. This is all my fault. I should go back, and ... and die! How am I going to tell everyone? What will Bryan think? Alice...Shit! Several new thoughts all sharing the same tone pummeled her throbbing skull, causing distressed tears to well up in her eyes along with the ones made from the stinging smoke. Thankfully, the sound of the bear had drowned out, but the crackling flames could still be heard -- devouring everything in their path. Her legs wouldn't stop pushing her forward, until she somehow caught a glimpse of bright blu--no, electric blue hair from beneath her. ❝What the hell are you doing? GET UP. There's a -- well -- I. Just.❞ Too overwhelmed to function, she grabbed the girl's hand and started jogging back towards the Camp Circle, her lack of breath finally catching up to her. Students ran past her from the forest and her stomach turned, guilt spreading. Her eyes widened and scanned around for Bryan and her hand dropped Alexandra's like it had never been holding it. This was ... The screeching of a firetruck filled the area as it drove up from the shore of the lake, from a direction the campers were never allowed to go. With enough screaming to 'GET BACK', she did as she was told and wrapped her arms around her stomach. It took her a few breathless minutes to gather herself before she turned on her heels to find Bryan. Panic flooded her system for several seconds before her wild eyes locked on him. Tears fell over her darkened cheeks and she ran from Alexandra to her unsuspecting brother, throwing her arms around his waist and crying out in relief. Nothing needed to be said. Not now.

Spoiler: X
WHAT THE HECK IS THIS, JAYN? Well, inquisitive one, this is called a 'command' or 'prompt'! I'm not sure what to call it yet, here. Basically, they're indicators of what your character should be doing. It's important that you try to follow them, unless you've talked to me about doing something different and it's cool. Usually, the consequence for not following through will result in ... death, or something else unfortunate or alternative for your character. They're there to tell you what's going on, kind of like the narration of a game, or to trigger an event. WHAT THE HECK IS IS A COUNTER? Counters may follow commands / prompts, or an event. Basically, I'll post with a number. Let's say 10. Then, I'll count down to zero. When a counter hits zero, you've run out of time to post with your character doing what needs to be done (in this case, escaping the forest), and you're subject to the consequences. Sometimes a counter can be stopped before zero or can go back up again, depending on the circumstance. During a counter, no one else can control or 'godmod' your characters to safety. It's alllll up to you.
Run ! ♥

Propping her flashlight in the dirt, she pinched the cigarette between her lips and took the match, pressing the red tip between her legs, flicking it against the cold stone. ❝I've never smoked. God, I'm such a virgin in some many ways, it's not even funny. Especially the big one. Ugh. You'd think I'd have guys crawling for the whole "Amazon" sort of thing. Maybe even a little bit of an underwater fantasy to go with it.❞ So she was right !! 'Sebastian' DID mean underwater fetish. That was fantastic. Her eyes shone brought with interest, but Alice didn't elaborate. Disappointing. ❝I know love isn't everything, Noey, but for once, I want to feel that passion; I want to know what it feels like to have the heat inside my heart.❞ As she went on about the heat in her heart, Noëlle was feeling an intense heat between her fingers. With an unnecessarily loud yelp, she instinctively flicked her wrist, sending the still-light match flying into the dust. Instantly, she stood up, right when Alice was tumbling backwards. At first nothing worrisome happened ... then, without even a full sixty seconds passing, the match caught flame to a bundle of dry twigs that lay scattered on the ground. Oh no! Her heart suddenly felt five times too big, and adrenaline pulsed through her veins. Shakily, she reached for the flashlight and stumbled to the flames. Somehow, kicking the dust into flames only made it worse. The flames rose and spread violently, sending smoke billowing up into the air. Hundreds of emotions must have shot through her, but the most overpowering one was 'fear', and it was driving her to scramble back. ❝Help...H-Help. HELP. HELP!! Alice!! ❞ Finally, she started shouted and blaring her flashlight into the trees surrounding them. The lake was so far...! Why was the fire spreading so fast?? Eyes wide, she swiveled towards Alice and held out a trembling hand. This could still be resolved. There were plenty of leaders out here, and they had told them to call for help if they really needed it. ❝ALICE. I'm so sorry, we need to lea--... ...❞ Spoiler ROAAAAAAAAAAAR !! Noëlle had never seen a bear up close before then, It was huge, like a toward, and jet black like the depths of the ocean. Her lips parted in shock and her eyes burned, smoke threatening to suffocate her already. The bear looked HIGHLY agitated, and suddenly Noëlle started to regret basically every decision she had ever made in her life. Her knees trembled but her sharp mind told her to run. Alice was to the left foot of the bear, but the bear wasn't looking at her--it was glaring at Noëlle. Suddenly, it dropped onto all fours and took a step forward with a heavy breath, and something that sounded like a sneeze and then a snare. Her chest felt bound by ropes, and her knees felt super glued together. Frozen, helpless and on top of EVERYTHING -- this was her fault. Save Alice. Save Alice. Alice. ...Run. R U N. The flames caught the heavy tops of a tree, and the area blast into a blinding, burning light. The forest was buzzing and smoke and flames were closing in. Animals made desperate sounds she had never heard before, fleeing from what was their home -- or burning it it. But the forest was humongous. There had to be a way to contain the flames before absolute disaster. Noëlle was gone by then, running as fast as she could through the forest, wheezing despite how fit she knew she was. Her calves burned as she left over tree roots and prickly bushes, hearing the heavy footsteps and loud roars behind her. She screamed again, for help, as loudly as her lungs would allow, and plowed through everything in her way.

She knew where she was going, and exactly how to get there without crossing through the usually appointed parts of the woods. What most people didn't know -- or understand -- was that this was a real forest, with deep trails leading up and down, thick clumps of trees you couldn't even move thorough, wild animals, creeks, poisonous berries and strange insects. 『WEATHER』 CLEAR SKIES 67°! ✖ 『DATE & TIME』 6/16/2013 - 11:46PM ✖ 『DAY』 02 xxxx xxxxxxxxxx Cabin C hadn't gotten very far or accomplished very much at the time of Alice's ... breakdown. Sam had remained mostly quiet and though it irritated her that their 'leader' hadn't proposed a plan, Noëlle was beginning to accept their group's defeat. The competitiveness inside of her stirred up and filled her cheeks with a fiery red, but there was not much to be done at this point. Instead, moments after Alice fell to her knees (once they dropped the topic of Electric Blue), the strawberry-haired girl took a step back and placed her fingers on her shoulder. It was always strange being taller than Alice in any way. It made her feel a bit empowered, though the illusion would be shattered as soon as the sulking girl recovered. Noëlle like Alice, really, but this was on the extremely dramatic side. The only positive point was that it gave her a means to escape. ❝You guys go on ahead. Alice is obviously not feeling too great, so I'll walk her back to the campfire.❞ Her voice was stern and it was clear that there was no room for negotiation. She gave a deeply apologetic glance towards Sophie, specifically, seeing as she was the only one who seemed to be trying, but was unsure if it was received. When the group carried on ahead, Noëlle turned on her flashlight and shifted to face Alice, squeezing her shoulder before retracting her hand. ❝I hope you don't mind, haha.❞ Her shoulders raised in a shrug. ❝Before we go back, there's somewhere I want to go. Don't worry, I've done this quite a few times during activities ... Our counselor doesn't seem to be into this game so I kind of ... gave up. I do hope they find something though.❞ Aware of how suddenly she had shifted subjects, she shook her head and smiled. ❝I guess you don't have to come, but ... I was hoping to talk to you about what was buggin' you, on the way there ... Sound okay?❞

We already talked about it in the chat, but I'm plannin' on having a movie night soon. Wondering if it would be better for people for me to stream it and us to watch, or for all of us to purchase / obtain the movie and just try to click in sync (via Skype call or something). I don't need to hear any specifics, just vote on the poll pls.
IT WASN'T MISSING, I WAS WAITING FOR SOMETHING / SOMEONE AND STILL AM. UPDATE ON THAT WAS IN THE CHAT.
How this Scavenger Hunt will go dooooown because I'm not sure it's self-explanatory -- I will tell you if you find something. You should look around, explore the forest. I'll tell you if someone 'jumps' out at you, or if someone is about to tag your counselor. You'll have a certain amount of time to stop certain things from happening, before I progress you.

Sophie spoke and she lifted her head, throwing and catching the flashlight into her hand with a nod. At least she was thinking. A few groups were heading out now, but Noëlle made no move to head off so quickly. One of the things she had learned from attending camp here for so long was that the people who rushed off would miss some of the best items. The Camp Leaders would place them later, once the initial hoard had stormed through. When Sophie started walking off, enough time had passed that a few groups had gone in, but Sam hadn't even taken their attendance yet ... or signaled that she was ready to go. Noëlle rubbed the back of her head and clicked her tongue, turning to Sam with perked eyebrows. ❝You ready, counselor?❞ Her voice was mostly gentle but laced with a noticeable bit of irritation. Sam hadn't been all too ... responsive, lately. It was disappointing. They needed to protect her, but ... Without thinking any further on it, she pressed her lips together and folded her arms over her chest, waiting on a response.

Sam hadn't been all too ... responsive, lately. It was disappointing. They needed to protect her, but ... Without thinking any further on it, she pressed her lips together and folded her arms over her chest, waiting on a response.
T I M E S K I P ! 『WEATHER』 CLEAR SKIES 68°! ✖ 『DATE & TIME』 6/16/2013 - 11:15PM ✖ 『DAY』 02 xx !!x!! xxxxxxxxxx The morning had gone by rather ... blandly. A delicious and filling breakfast was had, and Noëlle ate quietly at her group's table. It wasn't often that she strayed from it, desiring maximum bonding time. Acquaintances were nice, but real friends were better...not that she had many. She hated the cliques that seemed to form over the summer. Some of them would die out while others would last and build through the year. They all thought they were so close, from their camp together, and no matter how split between the groups they were -- they would find each other during activities and meals. Annoying. After breakfast, she returned to Cabin C and took a seat on her bed. Finally it was journal time! Because the Scavenger Hunt was later in the night, day activities would be mild. That gave her until lunch time (and then dinner) to get caught up with her writing. Thankfully, no one else seemed to be in the cabin, and anyone who came in later would hopefully not bother her. JOURNAL #15 ✿ PAGE 158 ✿ DATE - 6.16.13 Guess where I am? CAMP! Yes, yes. I'm pretty excited about this year. It feels ... promising, in a way. Timothy is a counselor and ... well, I didn't get put into his cabin, but that's okay. I've seen him pretty often around camp this year. It's a great comfort to have someone around who you're so close to. Thing is, I was really hoping to get him. I can't help but be really disappointed about that. I have something that I want to give him. I actually think it's a bit of bullshit, but you know. There's rumor going around that if you share this weird potion with someone you love, they'll love you back. I'm not usually one to believe in something so shady, but it's apparently near impossible to find the website you order it from. ...Somehow, I did? It just appeared in my bookmarks one day. I mean, if that's not a sign ... Maybe it won't make him fall in love with me but there has to be a reason I was able to find and purchase it. The thing itself is kind of cute. It comes in this adorable little glass bottle with a stopper at the top that's shaped like a heart. It's called Cupid's Brew. Cost me quite a bit. Maybe it's an aphrodisiac. Ooh, that's kind of exciting. Maybe he won't fall in love with me, but him wanting me -- even in that moment -- is enough. I wish I weren't at camp, I could do with some relief now. On a more innocent note, I kind of hate the cabin that I was put in. Let's give you a run down. My counselor, Tammy, is totally lazy. I guess she's 'cool' and whatever but she doesn't seem very ... enthusiastic? I always wonder why people like that take a job like this. There's this chick here who I'll call Hot Pink. She is kind of crazy. Won't say why exactly, but she seems kind of bi-polar. Yesterday she got to the cabin way late, and totally ignored all of us. Not even a hello. During Secret Time, she shared something mega nutso, cried, and then hopped into bed like it was all gravy. Ignored the comfort I tried to provide, too. Maybe she's just a rude bitch, but I'unno. Today at breakfast she didn't sit with the group. She could be lying about what she shared and is just an airhead, but... Then there's Vivian, who is kind of... Weird. I don't know how to describe her. I've met her before this. She always gives off this 'I'm judging you' feeling like she's some kind of princess, which is total bull because I don't know what makes her such hot shit that she feels justified to go around judging people. I hate people like that, but I don't always dislike her. Sometimes she's normal? She just has this weird thing about her... I can't say much more on her. She's stayed out of everything lately. Didn't share during Secret Time or anything. Last one I don't even know. I'll call her Bunny. First thing she did was start playing her keyboard obnoxiously. Asked me a weird 'what are you in for' question yesterday and didn't follow up on it. Made me feel like we were in prison. Yep. Fate made the mistake of throwing me in with a bunch of girls, none of whom are very interesting or inspiring. I found Castle last night, though, which was great. She actually has a personality!! Despite all of her ... darkness, and her tallness, she's very sweet. Kind of scatterbrained, but nice and somewhat bubbly. I found out she has an underwater fetish, which gave me some ideas on what to do with Timothy if the potion really is an aphrodisiac. Sigh. Going to lunch now. Will write later. Lunch was just as uninspiring. Camp sucked so far, with the group she was in, but Noëlle kept putting off her talk with a camp leader to switch cabins. It seemed...whiny. She wasn't usually one to whine, at least not to someone's face. Quite a bit set her off and if she voiced it each and every time quite a few problems would be caused. Her journal was her only outlet. Tonight was the night of the Scavenger Hunt. Maybe, if tonight went terrible, she would ask to change cabins. As usual, everyone gathered at the Camp Circle and prepared for a Camp Leader to speak. The fire was going tonight, and smoke plumed high into the atmosphere, stinging at Noëlle's nose and reminding her of the last time she had a smoke. A few bold campers sat in front of the fire, roasting home-brought marshmallows above the flames and chatting away loudly, while another group sat around singing songs. Some groups had paint on their faces and headbands or scarfs given to them by their camp counselors. Noëlle's eyes narrowed quietly at Sam. Finally, the sound of drums interrupted the fraternizing. They were beaten heavily from somewhere within the forest, and while everyone new turned to stare into the trees curiously, Noëlle set her turquoise gaze on Bryan. Her heart ached and she moved her eyes through the crowd to find Jack. Kevin weaved his way through the cheering crowd, his face illuminated by the flickering flames and the muscles in his arms glistening with a thin layer of sweat as he beat down on the drum he carried and circled once around the fire. His brown eyes flashed. ❝Good evening, campers!❞ His voice sounded nicer without the distortion of the mic. He spun one of the drumsticks in his hand and grinned enthusiastically...as always. Seeing him reminded Noëlle to ask Alice if she had gotten a new cabin yet. She was still sitting with Cabin C, so she assumed not. ❝Welcome to the Scavenger Hunt! This year has been made EXTRA special for you guys, which is why it was postponed until tonight. For all of you NEWBIES, tonight is a night that will shape your entireeeee camp experience~! Basically, there are a few of us leaders out here, ❞ Kevin drummed a familiar rhythm and the same rhythm echoed back to him six or seven times from different places in the woods, some sounding quite far.❝and our goal is to stop you little camp rascals from progressing! The game ends for your group once your camp counselor is tagged with spray paint! Up until that point, your mission is to protect your counselor and gather what you find for your group. Anything you find can be kept until the end of camp. There are some rules, kiddos. If you're tagged with spray paint, but your counselor is safe, your group may progress but you must come back to the Camp Circle. The second, please don't fight over what you find! If another group has something you'd like, oh well. Don't be a poor sport. Thirdly, we take cries for help very seriously. Please don't needlessly cry out for assistance. Only ask for help if you need it! Everyone gets a flashlight. If you're ever in a situation where your light goes out, please find another group to return to camp with. Do not try to make it back through the dark on your own. NO FOOD in the forest! At all, guys! This is very serious. Unless you'd like the be mauled by a bear, be careful. On top of that, if you come into contact with a violent animal, your counselor will have a can of mace. Call for help when you can and don't make any sudden movements. For you counselors, taking attendance before we start and after is a MUST. ❞ Kevin dragged on for a bit, elaborating on some of the points made. ❝Alright! While flashlights are being distributed, please take attendance and get ready to start. The last team standing will get a very special surprise! Good luck!❞
