『WEATHER』 PARTLY CLOUDY 68°! ✖ 『DATE & TIME』 6/17/2013 - 11:32AM ✖ 『DAY』 03 xxxx xxxxxxxxxx Noëlle was just about to respond to Maria, after the number exchanging, when someone she ... kind of recognized butted in rudely. With a blank stare on her face, she took in what he was saying. By the end of it, she wore a scowl and all traces of relaxation had been wiped away. How ... Annoying. He was trying to comfort her -- them -- but it was just obnoxious, as it had brought her RIGHT back to the world she had just blurred out. ❝Was he a friend of yours?❞ ❝No.❞ The answer came so naturally -- and so bluntly, that she couldn't help but crack a smile and giggle sheepishly, a bit ashamed of her own attitude. Man, she was really a mess today! Just then, her cell phone vibrated and she was delighted to see that Bryan had sent her a text! ... At least, at first she was, until she remembered her new stance on things and lifted her eyes towards Maria again with a disgruntled sigh. She was in the midst of texting back, when the ferry suddenly lurched forward, throwing her stomach against the table and knocking the breath out of her. There was a terribly loud screeching sound, and then a deep creaking noise that she had never heard outside of an action movie before. Her heart kicked up the pace and her eyes went wide as she struggled to catch her breath and pull herself out of her seat. Car alarms blared below them, and then only moments later were drowned out. She wasn't sure what was happening, but she was scared. Her fear only heightened when she glanced out of the window to see the boat tilting... and tilting ... and tilting ... and ... Then she was slipping. She could hear screaming, and splashing. Then she could she bodies falling and sliding over the windows (which were now turning up to the sky). It was evident, after a moment, that the ferry was sinking. Instead of asking questions as to why or panicking too badly (even though she felt like she might faint), she found herself climbed back up into the seating area before she tumbling down towards the salad bar, sitting on top of the upturned edge of the table, and trying to force the window open. They didn't open, naturally. They were sealed tight, with no latches. She couldn't see any water yet, but the boat was in the middle of flipping upside down. From what she could see, water would be coming up through the top and those inside needed to get out, while those on the outside -- hopefully -- got in the water before the flip. Her eyes darted to the hallways. She wouldn't make it in time, they had to open the windows. Where was Bryan? It was getting harder and harder to stay balanced on the table.
June 16th, 2012. When you fall in love, it is natural for there to be some ... doubt. Maybe there is some disapproval within the family, a bounty of destructive tendencies thrown about by your lover, or some crippling insecurity you have within yourself. In any respect, rarely is love an iridescent mirror in which you gaze beyond with utter certainty. That muddiness is precisely what I cherished about love. Love was something uncertain, beautiful and dangerous ... If only I had considered just how dangerous it could be. After all of that time dedicating yourself to someone, you just can't fathom how they could ... Twelve years. My magnificent, fragile Rain held my heart for twelve years. We had children. Three. The eldest was just about to turn sixteen, while the youngest was six. Had you questioned me last year, I would have told you that the time spent with Rain had it's peaks and valleys, but that overall I was happy -- we were happy -- I thought. Our children were beautiful, our finances acceptable and our home secure. I could not have known. There came a day where she would not talk to me like she used to. I could not have known that the sweetness that left her voice was the departure of something much ... much more consequential. June 16th, 2012. The day my world went up in flames. The last day I would ever see my Rain, my children. The day I began to hate the word 'love' -- and the disgusting flames that reminded me of her. I heard there was a fire ... ? If my glorious world burned to ashes, then why shouldn't everyone's?

Happy 300 posts ! (Whenever we hit that). My next post will address Noelle's interaction and then progress us along, so take this time to close up any interaction you'd like to get out and ~bond~. <3 I've already told Saxima, but I can't access Skype right now -- So if you need me you'll have to text (if you have it), VM, PM or ask here. Today has been kind of busy ... BBQin' right now, then going out later for Krispy Kremes, mmm. I'll probably end up postin' before bed and then more often tomorrow after work.
Groups Edited !! I erased Allen & Samantha. They can still exist, but as somewhat unrelated NPCs. Natalie was placed in Tucker's group to kill the NPC, and Brent was made to have been the counselor for Group C. ... This shouldn't affect much of anything, because we're passed the camp point. H o w e v e r, instead of Brent being like i ain't even go to dat stupid hunt, it'd be cool to just say that the group pushed him to go, so that nothing has to drastically change.
『WEATHER』 PARTLY CLOUDY 66°! ✖ 『DATE & TIME』 6/17/2013 - 11:26AM ✖ 『DAY』 03 xxxx xxxxxxxxxx The look of discomfort on Maria's face at the mention of water made Noëlle smile brighter. Now, she was completely back in the moment. No paranoia, no terrifying thoughts. It was lovely. Maria disliked water, huh? It was interesting, getting to know things like that about people. She considered phobias very personal. ❝The water? I'm not a particular fan of it. I've had few good experiences on or in the water.❞ Noëlle's eyes were gentle and sympathetic. ❝I'm sorry about that.❞ A moment or two later she was taking a bite out of her sandwich. It was delicious, aside from the rather watery tomatoes. ❝I do enjoy a good adventure. Maybe we could go on one together this summer,❞ the first part came across a bit forward, and a mild discomfort swept down her spine again. Maria was nice, and she genuinely liked her, but was she a lesbian ...? Noëlle choked on the second bite of her sandwich, coughing and swallowing a mouthful of water. ❝I was just thinking about how O would spend the rest of the summer. Do you have any ideas as to what you will do? Or your brother?❞ She was sure she was being vain, towards Maria. Noëlle had never had a woman come onto her, and this was probably no exception... though she couldn't deny that the thought interested her. Recovered, Noëlle shook her head and stared back at Maria with now-teary eyes. ❝Not really, no. An adventure could be nice. I could do with some time away from Bryan, anyway. I think ... We've been a bit too attached lately, maybe.❞ Thoughts of him literally consume me at times. His eyes, his smile, his lips, his breathing, his heart beat, his skin ...He excites me, it's invigorating ! ... Yeah, a distraction could be very nice. Her cheeks burned red and she stared out of the window. Her legs stopped swinging and her knees pressed together under the table. Maria was pretty, too. Curiosity flickered on in the back of her mind and her cheeks remained stained as a new set of, mostly inappropriate, thoughts snaked their way to the forefront. She took a bite of her sandwich again. ❝... We should exchange numbers!❞
『WEATHER』 PARTLY CLOUDY 66°! ✖ 『DATE & TIME』 6/17/2013 - 11:21AM ✖ 『DAY』 03 xxxx xxxxxxxxxx Softly, she sighed, and brought the opened bottle of water to her lips in an effort to stall a bit. When she was finished, she devoured a fry and smiled a bit, sheepishly. Her eyes roamed the salad bar area, hoping to see Bryan or maybe even Quentin roaming around. A distraction! Sadly, she was forced to focus on the question asked to her. Maria reached a hand out and rested it upon her's, making her feel a bit uncomfortable. It was nothing big, she just had this ... thing, about uncomfortable questions paired with touching. A lot of people probably had such a 'thing'. ❝I'm happy you've been doing well. I'm alright. The other night just ... really got to me.❞ She thought about what Garth had said. They could go ask to see a list of students whom were missing or ... had perished. She didn't want to know about Alice, though. Not yet. Not alone -- knowing it was her fault. ❝I was in the forest at the time, and I had to run ... from a bear. Something I never thought I'd have to do in my lifetime. It's just kind of got me jumpy ...❞ Without any sort of warning, the ferry began to move. It didn't really feel any different to her, but with a quick glance out of the window she could see the vessel getting further and further from the dock. It was kind of amazing. Before the ride was over, she would have to go explore the deck ... Subtly, she moved her hand from under Maria's and stretched, smiling brightly at the girl after and clearing her mind with a deep, refreshing breath. ❝Do you like the water? My favorite part about going to camp has to be the ferry ride, if I'm completely honest. This, and when we get to go out on the canoes. It makes me feel ... Hmmm ... Like we're going on an adventure, or something.❞ She shared, passionately. Without her noticing, her feet began to swing back and forth under the table.

『WEATHER』 PARTLY CLOUDY 65°! ✖ 『DATE & TIME』 6/17/2013 - 11:17AM ✖ 『DAY』 03 xxxx xxxxxxxxxx The salad bar was a bit plain for her liking, but that was alright. Sandwiches and hot foods that may be found in a grocery store were being served. Unfortunately, none of it was free, so she dug around in her bag for a twenty dollar bill and bought herself some freshly made Jojo fries, half of ham and swiss sandwich and a bottled water. Her mind was going everywhere at once, and her fingers had started shaking the moment she handed the cashier woman the twenty. ❝...You alright, sweetheart?❞ Her voice was melodic and reminded her of her mother's. She watched as the woman counted her change and handed it back. Dismissing the urge to cry, she nodded and smiled back warmly, locking her eyes with the gentle brown ones in front of her. ❝Yes, just hungry, haha.❞ It was only half of a lie, but she still felt guilty for it. With a ruby-lipstick smile, the elder woman walked a ways down the counter with a soothing hum. Noëlle could see her making a second bag of fries and grabbing the second half of the sandwich she had purchased before returning to the register. ❝Well, this will be sure to fill you up, dear.❞ Ah! Oh no. Her heart melted and her cheeks flushed with warmth. Kindness like this made her a bit emotional, and she felt her eyebrows raising in a strange, empathetic look. ❝Oh, you don't have to ... I ... That's really sweet of you, thank you so much.❞ They exchanged a few more words, all of which brought her close and closer to falling into a puddle of feelings, before she heard a barely familiar voice. ❝Good morning Noëlle.❞ With another thank you to the woman, she turned and set her eyes on Maria. Long, tumbling blonde hair caught her eyes first -- and then the rather ... elaborately decorated skirt. Regardless, she smiled, happy to have come into contact with her after all. It proved a rather nice distraction from her building emotions. ❝Good morning, Maria! Wow. I haven't seen you all camp ... Not that it lasted that long, haha.❞ The playfulness in her voice didn't match her nervous expression. ❝... How are you?❞ She was asking mostly about the fire, but a general 'catching up' would be nice, too. While she waited for a response, she lead them both to an empty seat and offered the girl some of her food with a gesture.
『WEATHER』 PARTLY CLOUDY 65°! ✖ 『DATE & TIME』 6/17/2013 - 11:13AM ✖ 『DAY』 03 xxxx xxxxxxxxxx Noëlle felt pretty out of it. Her heavy bag took the aisle half of the bus seat she claimed, and was -- hopefully -- received as a subtle rejection to anyone who planned to sit next to her. Usually, she would want Bryan to be there, but ... Her longing for his presence felt weaker after the other night, and his leaving her. She felt rejected, and wasn't planning on putting herself in the same vulnerable situation again any time soon. The first bus was quickly crowded with people, some familiar and some strangers. Jack stepped inside with a group of chatty girls Noëlle had never seen before, and took a seat without looking back at her. Apart of her was relieved at this, while another boiled with possessiveness. Normally, when she felt as lonely as she did then, she would strike up a conversation with someone. This time she, rather uncharacteristically, just wanted to be alone and feel sorry for herself, and everyone who had gotten hurt because of her. Last night, she had wanted to confess to Bryan what had happened but ... He leeeeeft meeee. ~ The roar of the bus revving to life jolted her out of her tired thoughts. Sam still hadn't given them back their technology, which was a pain. One check-mark on the positive side of things was that she wouldn't have to tolerate her, or bargain for a new cabin now. Sam wasn't the worst person ever or anything, just not her cup of personality tea. A few minutes later, the doors to their bus were closed and they were off, riding down winding dirt road. Her thoughts drifted and found their way to home. She really needed her phone back, now. Music would have been nice as well ... or so she thought, until she heard an operatic voice ringing out from somewhere in front of her. With narrowed eyes, she glared forward to find the source. It was coming from someone rather ... heavy, and she sighed out in exasperation, resting her head against the rumbling window. Her eyes took in the same familiar establishments along the way. A gas station, a convenience store, an elementary school, a park...It was a sweet little neighborhood that seemed to have one of everything. Some of the residents of the neighborhood would wave to the passing buses, and Noëlle would make sure to wave back politely. It was a really cute area that reminded her of the past. Quite some time later, they found themselves parking. The waves of the water could already be heard, and the sweet scent wafted through some open windows of the bus and warmed Noëlle's heart. Students began to stand up and exit, so she followed suit, saying excuse me to anyone she passed in the aisles. Everything ached and it was almost enough to put her back into a sour mood. Instead, she folded her arms over her chest and gazed out at the sparkling water. So peaceful...so relaxing... ❝LISTEN UP, CAMPERS!❞ Garth's voice sent a shock down her spine and caused her to swivel around. He held a megaphone and stood on one of the provided benches at the edge of dock. Cars, most likely belonging to Camp leaders and volunteers, began to drive onto the ferry directly and she envied them. It would have been nicer if their buses could do the same, but these buses belonged to the elementary school they had passed. Emergencies sucked. ❝LISTEN UP! ALL COUNSELORS ARE, OF COURSE, PERMITTED TO RETURN ELECTRONIC DEVICES. IF ANY OF YOU -- CAMPERS OR COUNSELORS -- WOULD LIKE TO REVIEW THE LIST OF THE DECEASED AND MISSING, PLEASE APPROACH A CAMP LEADER. BREAKFAST WILL BE AVAILABLE TO YOU ON THE FERRY. PLEASE DO NOT WANDER OFF. THE RIDE WILL BE AN ESTIMATED HOUR AND FORTY MINUTES. ❞ She frowned and rubbed the back of her neck sleepily, taking a dull note and following the flow of students boarding the ferry. They had to walk along a sort-of sidewalk, where a rail separated them from the car lot, and head up a steep set of stairs to the main floor. Finally, hunger was catching up to her, so she started looking around for the salad bar.

S I G H. Please don't time skip to the ferry ride?? I don't... Okay, just please don't do that. Focus on the bus ride. Not everyone is even on the bus and information about the road to the ferry and about the actual ferry ride (via leaders) needed saying. Take the time up until then to socialize on the bus, or get on if you're a slowpoke. When I post I'll enlighten and have the ferry start movin'.
Seven+ paragraph post loooost. ****. That. Will edit later, possibly. (I really don't feel up to it right now and may decide not to waste my time and just post a new post skipping this). it is 65 degrees, partly cloudy, 9:53am Noelle woke up, said good morning to Quentin. She inquires about what he's drawing but doesn't press it. After getting dressed ( http://puu.sh/2LcYk.jpg ) in the bathroom, she mentions they should head out. She grabs her ****, not going through the kitchen and instead just exiting the cabin and walking the trail to the main road. - a time skip happens - A series of school buses arrive on the main road and a camp leader announces that they should all file in once attendance has been taken. Once that's done, students are allowed to enter the buses. you don't have to sit with your group. Noelle hops on and takes a seat towards the back because she's a rebel. for anyone who still doesn't understand this - bus ride first. ride takes you to the ferry dock. you get on the ferry. the ferry takes us back home. parents can pick you up once we're back, or you can take one of the buses to the (closed) school grounds. if you're old enough to drive, you can have your car in the park n ride.
Aaaaaaaccpeted!
