Well, it's probably just a phase. I went through the same thing. The best you can do is just wait it out until something comes along one day and smacks you into shape. (Random thought that has nothing to do with anything) That's odd that the eighth grade and be in the second year of high school. I'm in my second and I'm in tenth.
I still haven't beat it. Lol. I can't get past the like third Riku battle. Hopefully I'll haven better luck with the PS2 version.
