Dennis Baker: [---December 27th---Location: Hospital---Mood: Shock---Ooc: N/A] He was simply sitting there, still not doing much when he noticed Zoey get up. For a second, he was almost positive he was going to be left back to his own world, that is until he felt something drape over him. Warmth. He felt it and realized that it was most likely an extra blanket. He wasn't exactly sure the purpose behind giving people in shock blankets, because it sure as hell didn't make him feel any less lost. When she asked if he felt any better he simply nodded, even though the answer was clearly no. He felt her hand grab his again. It was an interesting feeling. He didn't really know what to make of it but still accepted it nonetheless. He still sat there, blank expression an all, listening to Zoey give the status report of everyone. It was good to hear that no one else was poisoned. The less deaths the better after all. He heard her say something about how they would all be okay but he wasn't entirely sure about that. Out of nowhere four people died and he was honestly hoping that they at least knew what did it. For now it just seemed like some random freak occurrence that caused people to die. He was busy thinking of this when he felt another squeeze on his hand and a pat on his shoulder. They were still an interesting feeling. Like one of reassurance. It was nice, but the feeling didn't last too long. He was pretty sure that it would be a long while before he could truly just walk past this and feel reassured by anything. "Ready to get out of here soon? It's not very fun to be here..." He really didn't know what to do in this scenario. Leave the hospital and do what? Go home? Like that would be any better. He honestly didn't want to step outside of this place at all yet. Sure it was probably going to be pretty damn boring here, but it was probably way safer than anything that could happen outside on his way home. A myriad of scenarios started flying through his mind in which he would die before he even got halfway home."No thanks. I think I'll stay here for now." He was able to tell her in his still blank tone and blank expression.
Dennis had had one horrid time in the hospital. It wasn't exactly anything about what the nurses and doctors did to examine whether or not he had any problems. In fact he really didn't even notice. His mind was still on complete and utter lockdown. And his mind wasn't any better a place to retreat to either. It kept shouting at him to run every which direction, to be cautious of everything. That he will die! Even when he wasn't locked in his own thoughts he would usually just pop back into reality for a few seconds, start to see his surroundings, and then immediatly remember why he was in the hospital. Each time his face contorted with fear, and he would start shrieking and hyperventilating. It was a vicious cycle that continued to plague the young boy. He just couldn't simply cast the image of the dead people in his head. The only solution to this was to try and completely repress the memory. To never even recall the event transpiring. Unfortunately, his mind wouldn't allow it. Every little detail brought those images back to his head, and each time he felt like gagging, vomiting and blacking out. None of those ever happened, as when he wasn't visibly terrified, he was completely blank in expression and motionless. He was sitting there, still motionless, when someone walked into his room. He heard a faint voice call out to him, one that sounded familiar but he couldn't quite recognize it. However he didn't even acknowledge the person there, he just continued to stare blankly into space. That's when he felt something touch his hand and heard the same voice again, only closer this time. "Hey Dennis..." Who was this person? He was trying hard to remember as he slowly turned his head to look at the person. His eyes were drawn to one thing that hit him like a sack of rocks. An eyepatch. Who did he know who had an eyepatch? Professor Julius? No no, upon closer inspection he realized the person was female and considerably younger than Julius. Who fit that bill? That's when he started to think back farther than just the deaths. Her name was Zoey, if he recalled correctly. He went back into reality, and looked her in the eye. He didn't shriek or anything, however he kept his blank stoic expression on his face. His eyes filled with panic and terror. "H-hello, Zoey. How are you?" His tone was blank as he said this.

Dennis Baker: [---Day 6(4/4)---December 26th---Location: Sophie's House(Dining Room)---> Hospital---Mood: Shock---Ooc: N/A] Dennis continued to sit in his seat for quite some time. His body was motionless as his thoughts weren't really processing anything coherent. It was just a mad garble of his brain shouting at him to do different, contradicting , things and any sense he had was slowly being lost. The one thought that was prevalent through them all was just the single word question. Why? This came out of nowhere and as far he had figured, no one should've deserved this fate. Even worse, he started fearing that everyone was going to die. He was going to die. Dennis was terrified of this thought. He quite enjoyed living and the thought of everything just ending, turning black, being over. It scared him into complete and utter helplessness. He noticed people coming in and out and around. One person who bared a striking resemblance to one of the four who died. Dennis started to think he might've been going insane and seeing double of everything. His mind must have just created a copy of the blond hair boy to help cope, to try and convince himself that the blond haired boy didn't die. Then he realized that the boy was actually real when the blue haired girl started clutching onto him and was sobbing. His fear started to blend with that of sorrow. Not only did these people suddenly die, they also weren't coming back. He'd never get to talk to these people and worse of all, none of their actual friends and family could talk to them again. Why? One of the policemen walked over to him, obviously trying to gain an account of what happened. He said something to Dennis but Dennis didn't register a word of it. His mind was still couldn't really grasp what was going on and continually tried to reject reality. The policeman continued to try and get his attention and started pushing Dennis around so that he would actually speak. "...pened here?" Dennis mind started to focus back in on the scene to finally acknowledge the policeman's existence, only to have it immediately retreat again. The policeman eventually gave up, realising Dennis wasn't going to be physically able to do anything. Before he knew it, Dennis was being dragged off, having a blanket draped over him,(because that is a clear sign someone is in shock,) and was put in an ambulance. He was escorted to the hospital and was put into testing. The doctors were trying to find if anything was wrong with anything about him. They flipped out when they noticed the bruise he got that morning and spent a good amount of time running through anything and everything until they came to the consensus that Dennis was alright, physically at least. Mentally he was just stuck in his own little reality, still trying to comprehend what he had seen.
Dennis Baker: [---Day 6(3/4)---December 26th---Location: Sophie's House(Kitchen--->Dining Room)---Mood: Terror---Ooc: N/A] Dennis grabbed his milk that was set next to him...which was a bit surprising because he didn't remember saying anything about wanting milk. Although the surprise was lessened by the fact that Dennis had already assumed that Lucas was some sort of omnipresent mind reader at this point anyway. However the kitchen started getting crowded so they were all escorted into the dining room. Dennis just sort of sit back and listened to any idle chit chat not going on while he was pondering on something. His chain of thought was finally broken by the sweet smell of food. At this point he realized just how much he required food. Sure lollipops and cake were great from a deliciousness standpoint, but they certainly were not filling enough for this growing lad. He set up his plate, took out his lollipop, and was just about to start savagely devouring all the food in sight when he just remembered that other people were actually in this room. As such he did his best to act as polite and cordial as possible, though table manners weren't one of his strong points. Regardless he still did his best to hold table etiquette and ate his breakfast foods. He soon enough gulped down the milk he had from before, retrieved the lollipop and was about to put it back in his mouth until he noticed something horrifying. The kid named Alex looked awful. His hand was clutching his chest like he was in physical pain and his face matched that diagnosis. Dennis then noticed someone else trying to go to aid him with what appeared to be massive chest pains, but that ended up ending horribly. The blonde kid looked like he was struggling and in pain before he finally collapsed on his way to and looked dead. At this point Alex had already collapsed and his face fell flat onto the table. His attention was drawn to another person who let out a scream. The young girl looked like she was going absolutely insane. Her expression went completely blank, soulless even, as she grabbed a knife and stabbed herself to death. This death was way more shocking because this was just straight up suicide. No prompting or anything, just death. The final thing that took the boy part horror was the death of Richie. Richie's death was the messiest and most violent of them all. Blood started pouring out of his mouth and all over the place. It was a sight that, while he had seen it in his shows before, was too real to deal with. All of the deaths were just too real. There was no way they could be dead right? They were all just children enjoying a party. There's no reason any of them should be dead. None whatsoever. They couldn't, they can't, they aren't, it just wouldn't be fair at all! Everything was just wrong wrong wrong! His expression was one that easily showed his terror. His mouth just sort of gawked open and his eyes went blank for a bit there. His body just stopped, petrified in sheer fear. If not for the fact that he was quivering all over the place and his arm was violently shaking he might've been mistaken for dead as well. His eyes, while remaining blank, started gushing out water. Not only did his vision start to blur due to the unrelenting stream of tears but his heart rate significantly raised. His breath shortened and he started to sweat profusely. Everything around him seemed like it was spinning, just so surreal to be reality. All the corpses that were just lining the room were plaguing his mind as he tried to quickly shut all of it away. He just wanted to not be here, not only this house, but this reality. He wanted to run away as far as he could but his body wouldn't respond at all. His mind started to shut out all everything he could perceive for a brief moment and he quickly retreated into a place that some would call their "happy place." In reality, he was still just sitting in his seat. Petrified. ❝Did you poison us, Sophie--or Lucas? Are we all going to die now?!❞ This statement jolted Dennis back into reality, as much as he didn't want to be there. He looked around and still noticed all the bodies. Was that really his fate? To die here, now? He didn't want it to be so, but what could he do? He sat there, helplessly. If he was right, that Sophie and/or Lucas were out to kill them all, then what could they have done? He continued to sit there, wanting to run, but his body wouldn't let him. He was just utterly helpless.
Dennis Baker:[---Day 6(1/4)---December 26th---Location: Sophie's House(Living Room--->Kitchen)---Mood: Super Tired---Ooc: N/A] Dennis woke to the sound of a loud thudding noise. After waiting for a minute he realized just what made that noise. He ended up rolling off of the couch onto the ground and landing on his right arm. He was pretty sure it was going to be bruised, but didn't really care. Instead he rolled onto his back and looked around to find any nearby clock to tell him what time it was. When he saw one it was analog and he read it as 3:45. His brain didn't really register that as being correct and instead he took out his phone to find it said 9:45 AM. He tried to get up, because he resolved that he needed to continue sleeping, however he lacked any strength to pull himself back onto the couch, so he eventually just zonked out again until he woke again at 10:30 AM. He continued to lie on the floor until fifteen minutes passed and he realized that he wasn't going back to sleep anytime soon. Reluctantly, Dennis pulled himself to the couch and lied down for a quick second and...accidently fell off the couch again. Even though he landed on the same arm the pain still didn't really register to him yet and as such he lazily stood himself up. He looked at himself to notice that he was wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants, which was not his usual bedware. Then he remembered the fact he was in someone elses place and didn't really pay any mind to that anymore He started to sway back and forth and figured a nice glass of milk could probably cure his tired state. 'Wait did this place actually have any milk? Where exactly was the kitchen? Did I leave my water running at home?' All these thoughts and more rang through Dennis's head before he shakingly grabbed his bag and pulled out a lollipop. This one was orange flavor and he was sure that sugar+milk would be just what he needed to regain his lost energy. After a few minutes of walking he finally happened upon the kitchen. He surveyed the area with his half closed eyes and noticed a couple of people already there. In addition the smell of cooking food permeated through the room, which was pleasurable compared to the floor he was on for the past hour or so. He looked at Lucas and said, "morning..." He literally had no idea what Lucas's name was, so he figured he wasn't going to try and fill in a name. However Alfred, Niles, and Valkenhayn were names that resonated in his mind quite loudly. He started to rub his head because the lack of head support and sugar gave him an awful headache that was not going to be leaving for awhile. Then he turned to everyone else and addressed them (even though he still didn't know what one guys name was,) "Morning Alex, Zoey, Blond Guy, Sophie." He put his hand over his face, yawning, without his brain fully registering who he just addressed. His eyes jolted slightly more open, but still not fully, because he was still way too tired to fully react the way he probably was going to otherwise, (which was going to be a lot of panicking.) Instead he just sort of stood there not really sure of what to do next, lollipop still in mouth.
What a wonderful night it had been. He had a rather delightful time with his new friend Zoey and was really happy someone was there to help him through his nervous breakdown. He was still beating himself up over how much he had overreacted to it. Regardless Mr. Sandman was catching up with him and he couldn't run from it any longer. He started swaying a bit while he was standing. His eyelids instantly got really heavy and he could barely keep himself up anymore. While he usually had boundless energy, he also had one of the worlds biggest sweet tooth. And the crash that was brought by it was working on him really fast. "Hey, Zoe," he said extremely groggily, "I-I'mma go to sleep now. Been nice chatting with ya. S-see you in the morning." Waving to Zoey he started his walk to find a bed. Seeing as he had no idea where anything was in this house, Dennis walked ended up wandering aimlessly until he ended up stumbling into a what he assumed to be a living room of sorts. He surveyed the room and tried to think of where to go but realized his legs were basically going to give at any moment. He near shut eyes wandered over to a nearby sofa, which while not a bed, was reasoned to be much better than sleeping on the floor. He walked over to the chair and just sort of collapsed onto it. At this point he started reflecting on the days events, as he often would. He had an awesome gift from his big bro, was a part of an amazing musical, met someone new who he could probably call a friend from now on, had a nervous breakdown, and ate some really awesome cake. He realized how awkward it was going to be sleeping in someone elses house, especially someone he hardly knew and was about to lose some sleep over it just by thinking about everything around him. But before his mind could give any more thought to it though, he simply conked out for the night.
Upon hearing Zoey's ridiculously sound advise his mind cleared up a bit. His heart rate, which was going crazy, returned to a normalish and he was no longer completely hyperventilating. His face also started to cool down a bit and he tried his best to calm himself down. 'I mean really? I need to stop being so damn awkward to every little thing a person says. Like a person like Sophie would ever seriously consider a guy like myself. Alcohol and everything too. That was probably just the alcohol talking and it had no deeper meaning behind it at all. Just steady your mind and get off this topic. Staying on it will probably just lead to something really weird.' After kind of internally berating himself with his thoughts for how stupidly he acted, he just sort of tried to shake the whole thing off. Granted as much as he was forgetful, he was pretty sure that comment about him was going to stick inside his head for awhile now and any and all encounters with Sophie were going to be met with some sort of awkwardness now. "You don't get compliments much, do you?" He was pretty close to his usually jovial demeanor and said, "yeah not really. You see I don't talk to people very often since I'm kind of bad at, well, talking to people." He started to chuckle a bit. "Well because of that people think I'm a tad anti-social, which I guess I sort of am. But yeah, so I hardly ever hear anything that's directed at me that isn't from like a teacher or something." Letting out a deep breath he sighed and then laughed a bit. He stood back up, still quivering a bit, but not nearly as bad as before. "Well thanks for the talk, just what I needed. I'm pretty sure I over-reacted and sorry about that. I kind of need to learn how to socialize a bit better." "Aaaannyyywayyy, deviating from that slight episode of mine, we should probably get back to the group as to not keep them waiting up. Also if my panicky memory serves me correctly, then I think that one of those friends of yours was horribly drunk and that doesn't seem like a good state to be left in. Plus the night is still...well it's probably really early morning now but it's still a party damn it. So let's go party!" He said the last a bit theatrically as to add some humor to it. He was kind of hoping this would deviate from his panic and they could get back to the party. Then he noticed that neither she nor he still had their respective lollipops on hand, which was really bad because it could probably really help calm himself down right now. Chuckling a bit he said, "and when we get back I'll even throw in another free lollipop for your troubles."
Dennis was still reeling on his seat. While at first he stopped breathing he lowered down to just pure nervous hyperventilation. His face was still just as fiery and was still red. His body, however, had managed to go from shaking uncontrollably to shaking uncontrollably and giving off a bunch of nervous twitches. His mind was racing so fast and was so confused that he didn't notice Natalie come over or even register Zoey's teasing. His mind was so fixated he probably could've just laid like that forever...that is until Zoey poked his face and pseudo snapped back into reality. He was apparently being introduced to this Natalie who smelled drunk and was apparently the person Zoey was conversing with earlier. Granted his mind was so preoccupied with other things that the smell of alcohol didn't even register to him. "Y-y-y-yeah, D-d-d-Dennis is m-m-me." This was nowhere near good at all. His thoughts were so jumbled and his speech was starting to suffer. This situation was just so new to him. He had found some girls attractive before, Sophie even being one of them, but had never really managed the courage or self-confidence to even speak to them and as such never really learned anything about them. As such his little pseudo crushes were dropped in relativity short times. But never had he been in the scenario where a girl had called him attractive. It was such a new experience to him that he didn't even know what he was going to think, or what he was even supposed to think. He stood up, still shaking, and said,"I-um,I'm ju-j-just gonna go and walk, a bit, around," and he just sort of walked to the kitchen aimlessly. He went to refrigerator and took a soda can to try and help him out. However even this task proved to be impossible in his current state. His fingers just sort of fumbled around the tab of the can, his other arm was shaking the can like it was a slinky. He put the can back and walked back to the group just in time to see someone else slap the drunk Natalie in the face, which he really didn't pay much mind to. He walked over to Zoey and asked, "h-h-hey, c-c-could I maybe, talk to you, in private, m-m-maybe?" He didn't even wait for a response before grabbing her arm and pulling her over to a secluded room. He collapsed on his legs and started going hysterical. "Zoe-Zoey, you gotta, gotta help me out here. I-I've got no idea what to say, what to do, what to think. I'M SO CONFUSED!" He realized he was quite loud with that last bit but he still didn't even care. He hoped that his new friend, who happened to be a girl, could give some sort of insight on to his current internal struggle.
Zoey seemed to buy the fact that his family was actually home with him. Probably for the best really. It made the whole thing go by much smoother and he was happy to see that him talking to someone could make them happy. "Um, well I was thinking about going for a swim, how about you?" He thought about this for a moment. He really didn't think about what he was going to do for the night seeing as he was just sort of chilling at the party. He might've left soon if he had a means to and besides he was making friends with someone, and leaving would just be plain rude. So he decided to just go with the flow a bit. "Yeah I guess I could go for a swim as well. Sounds fu-" he was interrupted when Zoey yelled out to someone she must've recognized. More company huh? Well the expression goes the more the merrier right? And besides it might end up being fun being able to make two friends in one interaction. "Sure I guess I'm fine with it." The guy walked over, who he assumed this was Alex, and asked what his name was. "Hey I'm Dennis. Nice to meet you." He extended his hand for a handshake. Hopefully this would go well enough. Then things took a turn for the weird and unexpected. While he was extending his hand out, trying to be all nice and friendly, the badass butler man appeared out of literally nowhere...again. He looked like he had something to tell Dennis. ❝Dennis, I am here on behalf of Sophie to tell you she thinks you are an attractive fellow. Enjoy your evening.❞ If this were a cartoon or anime of some sort his jaw would probably have literally hit the ground in no time flat. Sophie thought he was attractive? That was really...interesting(?) news. Like sure he had seen Sophie before and thought she was pretty good looking herself, but he couldn't really recall the last time he had said a single word to her. I mean what could he think in this scenario. He always figured Sophie to be the terrifying type of person who you'd never want to make mad and probably didn't want to make any emotional connections...but to hear this came from her. His body was shaking all over the place, his eyes were so wide, and his face was on fire at this point. He was actually speechless and had no idea what he could possibly do to make this situation make any more sense and be any less awkward. "U-u-u-um, th-thanks, bu-butler man, sir." He practically collapsed on his seat really confused as to what to do next, mouth still agape and body still shaking.
Oh it's fine.
Upon finishing his story Zoey started...laughing? He thought the story was pretty disturbing and unnerving but she found it funny. 'Man I must be really bad at reading the mood of a conversation.' He pondered on this thought, trying to find the humor in it, which he admits after thinking over it he did chuckle a bit, but it was still a bit of a nervous one. Really it was all for the best that she found it funny because at least they had a story that they could laugh on later. Not to mention it made him feel way more comfortable than before. Zoey responded to his question about Christmas and he smiled a bit. It was nice to see people who enjoyed it, even if he didn't personally find anything that great about the holiday. Having been asked about how his Christmas had been he was wondering what to say. Really he had just met the girl and didn't want to just open out and say that he spends all of his christmas days alone. At the same time he wasn't too fond of lying to people so he took the middle ground. "Nothing special really. We all did our little gift exchange thing in the morning and had breakfast all the same. My Pa got me a new jacket and my Ma figured it'd be a nice idea to get me socks. You can apparently never really have too many of those," he laughed at that a little before continuing. "Meanwhile my bro got me a sweet wooden replica of a sword and it was awesome! Probably best gift I've gotten in a while." He smiled a bit at the thought of that actually happening with his family there at his home. He realized that his lollipop had been his mouth for a while now so he crunched down on it, put the stick back in his pocket and took out a new one. Green apple flavor. "Aside from that I've basically told you all I've done and had the misfortune of seeing at this party. So plan on doing anything else here?"
"What happened at the pool?" Upon hearing the question he kind of showed a nervous smile. Sure he had brought the topic up in the first place but it wasn't exactly the kind of scene he wanted to recall any time soon. His mind started yelling him to not back down. To recount the story with as much detail as possible and go as in depth as possible. Which there was no way Dennis was going into every detail, but in the end he decided to recount the tale. He was about to answer her question when she took the lollipop from his hand and thanked him for it. "Oh no problem." Which it really wasn't seeing he still had roughly twelve more in his pack. She started patting the seat next to her and said. "There's room for one more, I think." He tried to keep a cool composure on the outside but on the inside he was freaking out. She wanted him to sit next to her? Well it was probably only in a friendly matter right? People sit next to each other when they're friendly all the time, right? Well they just met each other so it was probably that. He walked over to the seat and sat down, albeit shaking a little and then remembered that he had a question to answer. He faced Zoey and started explaining. "Well you see, I was just sitting by the pool and then a kid with blond hair comes along and cannon balls into there. It seemed in good fun but the guy looked a bit too happy and giggly so I just assumed he was drunk. Then someone else came over and jumped in the pool and that's when things got a bit...well, awkward. I can't say for sure what happened next because I kind of quietly slipped away so I have no idea what's going on now. But based on how the blond kid was talking, I'm pretty sure I'm alright with that." Realizing the situation was probably going to get pretty awkward due to the answer he just provided he decided a quick topic shift was in order. "So anyway, how's Christmas been for you so far?"
He was almost positive that there were two girls sitting here, but suddenly there was one. Well that was certainly interesting. Regardless he would continue on his attempt to socialize with people and having a one on one conversation could either make it easier or just make things way more awkward. "Uh,Natalie went in the kitchen, that way." Alright that was one name he had to commit to memory to a face. Granted he didn't really catch what she looked like so he still probably wouldn't get her name right. He looked over to where she had gone to. "She went to go get a drink with her friend." Oh even better these people were going to get drunk. Well that would most likely mean trying to have any sort of conversation with them would probably end, not so well. Not to mention their breath would probably wreak havoc on his nose. "Sup, name's Zoey. And you are...?" His attention snapped back on the girl near him. Well Zoey was certainly a much nicer name than Eyepatch that's for sure. "Oh, um, my name's Dennis. Dennis Baker." He was still nervous about talking seeing as sure he had gotten to introduce himself, but outside of that he had no real idea of how to carry a conversation in the slightest. He was on the verge of not conversing at all but his brain kept shouting at him to stand his ground and talk for once. "Not into the alcohol stuff?" The question took him a bit off guard and made him think he was gonna be made fun of. After all, this was a party that had it's vast majority of participants getting hammered and making situations awkward for the not inebriated. Then he noticed she had a can of soda near her as well and his expression brightened. He wasn't the only one not indulging for the sheer reason that he could and that made him feel less nervous. "Nah not really. I've heard enough stories from my big bro to turn me off from ever drinking that stuff, it smells awful, and after seeing that...interesting scene at the pool, well let's just say it's just not the greatest thing a person could be drinking." He realized the girl, Zoey, was probably not feeling the greatest having been ditched so the other girls could get drunk. So in order to brighten the mood he reached into his bag and dug his hand around until he was able to find a pull out lollipop, grape flavor to be exact. He extend the pop to her and asked "Want one?"
Dennis had had his fair share of sitting next to the pool. I mean sure it was quiet, peaceful, and serene here...but this was a party damn it! He needed to get back into the main room and start socializing with people! Or at the very least grab another soda. He was quite thirsty after all. He was about to stand up and go back when suddenly he saw Ri- Richard? Richter? Ronald? Blondie, run and cannon ball into the pool. The name of the kid alluded him, but he knew it started with an R and had seen the kid around many times prior to here. Regardless he got splashed when Blondie jumped in there and felt the warmth of the water wash over him. He was really considering swimming now but he decided to take a seat farther back for now. While walking backwards he noticed even more people being dragged along with Richie and one of them didn't seem to be the most...stable. 'Well that's the liqour'll do to a person' he thought to himself. At this point he actually took time to take in the entire scenery. He was left breathless by the sheer magnitude of the indoor pool, waterfall, thing. Not only was it really lavish and pleasing to the eye, but it looked really expensive. What exactly did a person need to do to make that much money? Regardless he sat back and noticed a new person walk into the mix. He recognized him as well, just like everyone else here, but still couldn't put a name to the face. This new person who he would just internally call Q, took a seat as well. Q started speaking to Blondie and then Blondie just seemed to be a bit of a mess. Blondie didn't seem all that with himself and at this point Dennis was pretty sure he was under the influence. Even as he was now the kid seemed to want more alcoholic beverages, which was probably going to lead to an interesting time. Regardless, Q eventually jumped in and started swimming alongside Blondie. Mr. Awesome Butler Man appeared out of literally nowhere and gave Blondie another drink, who then started drinking more and eventually made the entire scenario awkward. Dennis wasn't much of one for intruding in on conversations, and this one didn't seem he like one he'd really feel like listening in on. The whole thing just wasn't Dennis's cup of soda so he just casually sauntered out of the pool area back into the kitchen. At the kitchen he pulled out a new can of soda and grabbed a lollipop out of his pack that he brought with him to the party. After all, one can never have too many sweets. He started just casually walking through the house admiring everything when he saw two girls talking and one them had an eyepatch on. He realized that the nickname he gave for her, being Eyepatch, might not have been the most accurate or appropriate of names to be given. Granted the two of them seemed to be striking up a conversation and he didn't want to awkwardly intrude. 'Socialize damn it! Alright fine, but how do I go about doing that? Just walk over there and say hello you little twit! Fine, fine. Jeez get off my back.' After his own little internal debate, he walked over to the two girls, which by the time he got there turned into three, which then turned back into two. "H-Hey there. I was, um, just wondering if I could, uh, just talk along with you." He let out a nervous chuckle, 'man you are really bad at this. Like seriously be confident damn it! Would you shut up about my need to socialize. Never!' he was continuing to internally debate with himself while he just sort of awkwardly stood there.
Awoken by the usual sound of his alarm, Dennis reluctantly awoke. He sat up in his bed and looked at the calendar. Christmas day. "Whoop de doo." He put something hardly festive on as he looked around the apartment. It was barely decorated at all. Just a lone christmas wreath hanging up on the door and a small christmas tree on an end table. He lazily walked over to his refrigerator and pulled out some milk and cookies, because hey that seemed like an appropriate breakfast. Despite his usually upbeat manner, Dennis wasn't too fond of the holiday season. I mean it was a time to get together with his family and celebrate all the joy they've had together over the year and prep for the new one coming up. However he was the only one in his apartment. He was always, the only one in his apartment. Sure his parents couldn't help it because they travelled the world for their jobs and his older brother, Jason, was studying abroad. But still it would be nice if they could all get together one day and actually just have fun together. "Oh well, no use dwelling on that old stuff. It's been like three years already so why am I still expecting anything different?" he mumbled to himself. Despite not having anyone over that didn't exempt him from giving and receiving gifts to his family. He opened the three separate mailboxes he got yesterday. His mother still sent him socks...because according to her he was always in constant need of new socks. His dad ended up getting him a new jacket, but he didn't really need a new one anyway. When he opened up Jason's box he flipped out. His brother Jason got him a wooden replica of a sword from a series he loved. He sent generic thank you texts to his folks and a super ecstatic one to Jason. With all the festivities done he got on his bike, and just strolled around town until it was time for the true thing that he was looking forward to. Opening night. ----------------------------- He was super excited all day. Seeing the crowd as packed as they were got into his nerves but he really just needed to do a few minor things here and there but still, being on and performing for this large an audience was a bit of a new thing for him. Despite his nerves and probably most everyones all those rehearsals ended up paying off big time. Everyone did fantastically, especially the two leads. He was so proud that he was able to be a part of this performance, even if it wasn't the largest role. Then even better yet they were having a christmas after party. When they got to Sophie's house he was stunned by how large and...interestingly designed the place was. He really wouldn't know what to do with all this space if it was his house.Sophie then began explaining that there was all types of beverages and food in the kitchen, though he'd probably refrain from drinking any of the alcohol because he hadn't made any plans to start drinking in this lifetime. Then she said something that made his eyes widen a bit. Something about a box of...things in the restroom. While he was positive he had no need for them he'd be lying if he said he wasn't curious as to who would be using them. Relationships were always hot topics after all. 'So basically the only rules here are don't break anything and try to be subtle if you plan on doing anything,' he thought to himself. Dennis was pretty sure he could avoid breaking either of those rules. When everyone did their own thing he started to hear his stomach growl at him. Food was on the brain so food was where he going. He made a beeline for the kitchen and noticed a ravishing looking cake. His mouth watered and his eyes were locked on it until he noticed a note next to it. Man he was going to have to send a thank you note to Tucker later on. He got out a plate and cut off a slice of the cake, which he inhaled. Probably one of the best cakes he's had in awhile. He got himself a soda and started guzzling that down while contemplating whether or not he should go for a swim and/or eat more cake. In the end, he walked outside to the back yard and sat himself down by the edge of the pool thinking on how this christmas had been so much better than ones in the past few years.
Practice today was...interesting to say the least. Sure, it was no secret that Maria disliked Torvald but that slap was something else. Regardless he didn't interfere and left as soon as he could once practice was over. Granted he had no real reason to rush on home seeing as there was nothing really there for him to do anyway. Still he biked at full speed until he locked it up and walked into his apartment. Locking the door behind he looked at the calendar and saw it was really close to Christmas time. He felt like he had last minute things to do but regardless...he didn't really care to do them yet. He plopped down on his couch and relaxed while watching TV. He sighed as a rerun of a sitcom was playing. Same old, same old. Pulling out his phone he noticed it was 8:00 PM and that he had received a text from his mother while he was at practice. She was asking how everything was, because like always, he forgot to tell her that he was going leaving the apartment for a good chunk of the day. It was alright for a mother to be worried about their child but recently he started getting annoyed with how obsessive she was being of wanting constant updates on his day. He ignored it and proceeded to make himself dinner. With that done he took his shower and walked his way to his bed. While laying down he reviewed all the little things he had to do for the musical and had his thoughts drift towards christmas. Then realizing he'd probably end up having time slip by him and be late for rehearsal again he quickly set an alarm on his phone to notify him at 1:20 PM tomorrow. With that done he shut his phone off for the night and simply went to bed, ready for whatever antics were bound to happen tomorrow.
Dennis had just been sitting around noticing despite how mandatory this rehearsal was not really many people were here yet. Regardless he kept listening to music while sitting back in a chair, just going over what he had to do. While he wasn't the most important role, he was probably the most forgetful. And he did not want to screw everything up by forgetting a small amount of effort and memorization he had to put down when compared to what Maria and the always theatrical Torvald had to do. Speaking of which the second lead actor was nowhere to be seen. Ah well, he was sure things would probably work out. He heard the door open and looked to see someone he couldn't place if he knew or not, and saw her just sit down. She seemed alright looking but just a glance and by the way she appeared he figured she was really into herself. Then Maria came down and started getting in an argument with her. He didn't really bother with because a) with his music playing he couldn't properly hear anything about the argument, b) he figured it would sort itself out and c) girls are scary when they're arguing. Thankfully Sophie appeared to break it up and everything turned back to...well nothing really happening again. That was until he heard the boisterous profanities that could only belong to one man at this school. He looked up and noticed badass professor Julius tumbling down the stairs. Dennis chuckled at the situation because no one could pull off a stunt like that and then tell everyone to get to work quite like Julius could. Just as he was about to stand up and get started he then recognized a set of unrecognizable words that still, belonged to one man alone. The second lead actor finally showed up, saying all these different statements about revolutions, the working class , a porcelinatarian(?) struggle, and then finally to starting practice. Despite people finding Torvald annoying, Dennis kind of just chuckled every time he spoke. I mean the words and theatrics were just so over the top he just couldn't help but laugh. And that stuff about revolutions, classic...unless of course he was actually planning a government takeover in which case that was an entirely different problem to deal with. But he was pretty sure..or at least hoping, that wasn't the actual case. Standing up now he thought 'well practice can get started now.'
Dennis awoke to the sounds of his violently vibrating alarm clock. He groggily looked at it before shutting the alarm off. Noon already? Man that was the last time he decided to stay up until 3 AM. Granted that's what weekends were for, especially during break time. He went about his morning routine before situating himself on his couch. From there he spent his time simply enjoying playing his games and watching television. However, time had passed by pretty fast and he when he looked back at the clock to see it said 1:40 PM. "Wait was I supposed to be doing something important," he seemed puzzled for a moment trying to recall what exactly he was supposed to be doing. "Ah well if it were important I'd have remembered it by now." This was a lie. Thankfully though he was blasting music out of his laptop and it got to a song he quite enjoyed. It was from a musical he'd seen a while ago but still loved the soundtrack..."wait a musical...OH ****!" Suddenly remembering that he had a musical that he was apart of and had to be there for, he started panicking. Rushing through his house he opened the door with his shirt still only half on and scarf draped on his shoulder. He sprinted over to where he had parked his bike and finally got himself sorted out. He unlocked his bike and quickly jumped on it to begin his mad peddling dash. In this scenario he threw caution to the wind and swerved in between cars nearly getting a hit half a dozen times and breaking all rules of traffic. 'The joys of a bike owner.' Approaching the school he finally slammed on the brakes and locked his bike up. Checking the time he had a whopping 2 seconds before being late. Sure he was just an extra, but even extra's had to do their parts right or else there'd be no nameless figure who would have like two lines to either cause dramatic tension or just say something that literally anyone could. Even still it was his role and he had to play it. Creeping into the theatre he checked back at his phone and saw it said 2:05 PM. 'Well hopefully no one would notice.' He gave nervous grin at that thought but then looked around to see that not many people were here yet. 'Well so much for being punctual.' He took a seat and started reading over what he was supposed to be doing.
