BRANDON HARRISON: ///Day 20 (2/4)\\\///October 11th, 2013\\\///Location: Manchester UK (Random Car--->Streets)\\\///Mood: I'm outta here\\\ Brandon woke up that morning like it was any other...only he was in a car and he still had no house to go to...Brandon woke up that day like it was yesterday, only now with food! Sweet glorious food. Really they were still only bags of crushed snacks but beggars can't be choosers, and after all crushed snack food was still delicious. Unfortunately Brandon had next to no sense when it came to rationing food and as such, completely devoured everything he had. While not one of his more intelligent moments, it was certainly one of his better feeling moments. Feeling full and refreshed he decided to just go out of the car and wander about...for the entire day...again. Brandon quickly decided that that plan fucking sucked and totally abandoned it. What he needed to do was actually go somewhere. And not anywhere near since everything was basically wrecked. For some reason Brandon started thinking of this as more of an adventure than anything else. He was all by himself, no home to go to, his mother was nowhere to be found right now, and he really needed to get to some other place that wasn't here. The thought of his mother being a no show still really bothered him but he decided that if she wasn't showing up, she was probably in a safe place and just unable to get here. Really this plan of Brandon's was really stupid and impulsive, seeing as he had no way to find his way home, no way for his mother (should she show up) to find him, and no food to eat. But he was a young boy and stupid impulsive actions were just what young-uns do. However he thought it would probably be for the best if he somehow gave his mother some indication that he did leave. He looked around and inside the car until he found a piece of paper and a pen. Man this car was really convenient. If only there were keys and Brandon actually had his license on him. But alas even Convenient the Car could not provide those such luxuries. Brandon wrote down a quick note describing to his mother that he had decided to leave the place for now but would come back later. He was simply going south to find a place to possibly stay in and would come home once everything was all fixed and/or back to normal. With the note written down Brandon placed it in the window of the passengers side of the care and simply walked out with his tennis racket and tennis ball in hand. Brandon had actually been feeling like leaving home and going to explore new places over the past few years, truthfully. Something just seemed missing in his life and Brandon wanted to find it. While it was still only within the country it was as good a starting place as any. And Brandon took it, and continued walking in a southern bearing to wherever the wind may take him...or until he got really fucking tired and wouldn't be able to walk any more. But he was hoping the latter wouldn't happen.
Dennis was just standing around basically doing nothing of any real significance before all the adults just left for the day to parts unknown rather silently. He was just waiting around for something on this uneventful day to happen that may a little bit of direction to it. And then it happened. He started hearing some yelling all around the inn but nothing he could really distinguish. Then he started to smell something...something burning. Was that smoke? Well ****. He wasn't too sure what to make of it at first but he just sort of paced around thinking of all the certain possibilities that were going on until he went to his room and found there to be an angry ****ing mob outside ready to burn this inn down. Apparently they were saying something about how ****** Cane was as a citizen of Bentley but he wasn't really sure of it. He just set into full panic mode wanting to get as far away from this hell hole as soon as possible. However he actually managed to calm himself down a bit and think...pseudo rationally. He needed to stay cool and get some towels to help fight fire and/or open any flaming door handles. Dennis immediately rushed into the bathroom and grabbed all the towels, turned on the water to max cold, and jumped in soaking both him and the towels. He yelled profusely at jumping because hot damn it was cold, but he figured it was better than dying. After leaving he started to wander around the inn looking for someone else to figure out what the **** was going on when he noticed a familiar looking Zoey and Quentin in the hallway. He saw Quentin bolt it down the stairs because...it was at that moment he realized that that receptionist was down there and he was probably trying to save her. Well ****. Dennis knew he had two options. One was save his own skin, the other was save someone else. In the end his conscience won over him and he decided to go down with Quentin to try and help save Cane.
Evan Allen Walker: {~~~Day 4 (4/4)~~~March 17th, 2016, Thursday~~~Location: Enemy Boss Dungeon(Patrick's House)~~~Mood: Let's Have Fu~n~~~Music~~~Ooc:~~~} This place seemed really weird to Evan. Not only the whole lifeless streets and extremely bland maid opening the door, but just the overall vibe felt weird. They were instructed to take off their shoes and sit down, which all of them did, and they just waited there. There was some candy and beverages but after already being on the assumption that Bentley water by itself may be poisonous and fuck that candy he was not dealing with any of that shit. As he was sitting there he started to wonder how they were going to approach asking Patrick questions, when he found that he wasn't the only one thinking of it. They all just sat there in silence waiting, until the unexpected mistress came down. She seemed very cheerful...which was weird. Evan was cheerful usually, but this didn't seem like Evan's cheerful, this just seemed like creepy zombie psycho bitch happy. The fact that she was fiddling with candy wasn't helping his image of her at all. However she immediately came in with the whole, knowing the real reason they were all at the house. Evan kind of wasn't expecting her to appear to know everything right off the bat but Bryan seemed to just answer her odd question. Bryan seemed to have a sort of forced happiness in his voice, which totally did not sound inviting to Evan, but being cordial even when you want to stab a bitch (which based on Bryan's angst this entire trip he sort of figured was always the case,) was always important. After waiting a bit they were eventually lead by the kawaii meido-chan maid to go see where their friends might've been. Along the way they found passed by a kitchen with an assortment of utensils just lying about. Evan was considering picking one up because using them as a weapon was always a good idea, even though he was more of a hand to hand kick boxing sort of fellow. Regardless he picked up his deadly weapon, the spoon, and put it in his pocket. He also grabbed a knife because he realized he needed one for back home. It was only stealing if you got caught and he was sure the fact that it was from the lord of all things unholy in this town,Saint Patrick Grant, he figured it'd all balance out in the grand scheme of things. After pocketing both spoon and knife, (and wondering if he could make some sort of combination weapon called a knoon,) he followed along with the group. Eventually they got to this hedge maze thing and then they waited around for some sort of password to be entered. After that was done they simply entered into a rickety looking elevator and started descending. He felt like this loading zone would be as good as any to try and think things over. Actually, now that he thought about it, this maid seemed to have done everything very nervously. He actually started to wonder about how it was like working in this place. The Grants seemed like people who would be one of two employer types. Really nice, or satanic overlords."So Ms. Would you mind telling me what it's like working for the Grants?" Evan used his usual cheerful tone.
I am honestly still wanting to be in this RP and don't want to see it locked either. I'm going to cast my vote for a "don't end this thread."
BRANDON HARRISON: ///Day 19 (4/4)\\\///October 10th, 2013\\\///Location: Manchester UK (Random Car)\\\///Mood: Where to go?\\\ Brandon was bored...and hungry. The day had come and went like any other, minus the whole no house thing, and he had decided to spend it just hitting his tennis ball back and forth, off of his racket and off of a wall. He wondered where the hell all the other people were. Sure the damage had been pretty big but surely there should be at least some people here. In addition there was no food to be had and as such Brandon went on a little scavenger mission. Going around to wrecked houses and digging through some of the rubble to find any scrap of food. His mind started to make him think of this as some sort of post apocalyptic survival horror game...which it totally wasn't...right? After some good old fashion digging he eventually found a bag of potato chips. Upon opening them he found, to no surprise, that all of them were completely crushed. He thought it was better than nothing and poured the bag into his mouth in ravenous hunger. His efforts of exercise had made him quite hungrier than he usually would be on a day like this, which he then figured it was probably not the smartest idea to do that. Continuing through house rubble he found more bags of crushed snacks. Satisfied with his haul he walked to the car he had spent in the night before and just sat back down in the trunk. He ate a good deal of the snacks before feeling filled. He didn't find anything to drink and as such he felt a bit parched. He thought to leave that for tomorrow, when he was awake and fully rested. He still wondered where his mother was, but didn't try to think too hard on it. God forbid something bad happen to her. Brandon's mood was starting to tank while thinking like that and instead decided it was high time to just go to sleep. As such he rested his head down on the floor and drifted off to sleep.
Evan Allen Walker: {~~~Day 4 (3/4)~~~March 17th, 2016, Thursday~~~Location: Enemy Territory(The Inn)~~~Mood: To the Morning!~~~Music~~~Ooc:~~~} Evan woke up that morning feeling nice and refreshed. Last night, while not fruitful in any investigative means, was still a ton of fun. He quite enjoyed it and wished that all nights could be like that one. Nice, peaceful, and just all around festivities. No sort of cultist massacre like thing at all, just harmless fun with a fellow adult. However in order for that sort of ideal future to be found, Evan knew this case would have to be solved post haste. Last night was just a good reminder of why it needed to be solved though. As he got out of bed he saw his blond roommate answer the door to who he assumed to be Maria. He started to wonder what that was all about but he figured he'd catch up from the other adults later. He went to his bathroom and got dressed in a different garb than usual. He wore green sweatpants and a green t-shirt. Afterall it was Saint Patricks day today. With all the prep work for the start of the day done, he figured it was a good idea to get on with the main event. Though he didn't really know what that would entail. He figured given their new found information they would go and talk to Patrick about the whole atlas difference thing and maybe later run some more theory/test work on that whole 'everyone has green eyes' thing that's going on. He decided to go check with the other adults what exactly was going on at the moment, so he left the room in search of them. Looking in the dining hall he found all of two people. Interesting. Either everyone else wasn't up, which he didn't think would be the case, or they were all having some sort of get together/meeting thing. He walked around the rooms and saw the Cherry Red Tucker standing there. Furthermore one room was just open and there were a good deal of people in there. His suspicions of the adult (and a teenager) meeting were confirmed and as he walked closer he found there to be some sort of tense air permeating throughout the place. Did something happen? Did he miss something super crucial? He looked at Zoey and his mood slightly soured at seeing her damaged figure. Some sort of **** did go on and he wasn't aware of it. If Evan was the type to get angry, especially at himself, then his face would've had a different expression than that of his usual happy go lucky self. However, with his usual smile on his face Evan just walked into the room. "So uh, morning folks? Something big going on?" He started bracing for the worst possible answer, though it didn't actually show in any change of his expression.
Signing up and as such I will be singing After Dark from the anime Naruto Bleach, by Asian Kung Fu Generation.
Dennis Baker: [---Day 4 (2/4)---March 17h---Location: The Inn---Mood: Alright---Ooc: N/A] No sooner had Dennis arrived had Julius left with a book in hand. Dennis thought it was a bit weird, but didn't really feel like questioning it. Probably just some important adults meeting anyway. In addition to that someone else had joined just as soon as Julius had left. That person being Sasha. She seemed to have a bit of a skip in her step which was good considering how much anxiety she seemed to be feeling over the last few days. She greeted the both of them though it turned out that Sasha didn't know Zoey, and it also turned out the reverse was true. Before Sasha could respond the peppy adult that was Tucker all greeted them with a good morning. "Morning Sasha. Morning Tucker." It was then that he realized he just indirectly introduced Sasha to Zoey rather than the girl introducing herself and had a quick 'whoops' thought. It was at this moment that he saw Zoey had bandages on her but he wasn't exactly sure to approach a question asking about them. He was still in denial that anything bad could've happened last night and wasn't about to ask the question anytime soon. And seeing as she wasn't bringing it up at all, he figured it'd be best not to try and tread in those waters right now. With all introductions and perceptions out of the way, though, Dennis got to thinking about today. Even though they were in Bentley, after last night Dennis didn't feel like anything was too wrong with this town (completely missing the whole everyone has the same eye color thing.) The only weird thing so far was the atlases being different. Other than that he was at a total loss for today. "So guys. What do you think the plan for today is?" It did seem like an obvious question, but other than "how was last night?"(which he was trying to avoid) he couldn't think of any other ice breaker type questions.
Dennis Baker: [---Day 4 (1/4)---March 17h---Location: The Inn---Mood: Confused---Ooc: N/A] Dennis woke up groggily. He could've sworn that he heard someone crying. In his half awake stupor he could've sworn he even saw a familiar figure but kind of went back to sleep, only to wake up roughly ten minutes later finding himself unable to go back. He got out of bed and looked around the room, seeing it was basically just as it had been when he went to sleep last night. He walked over to his suitcase and grabbed out his new outfit for the day. He decided to get all the morning routine things done before putting on his blue sweatpants and blue long sleeve shirt. He looked around the room until he realized something strange was with the room. It looked exactly the same as when went to bed. His side of the bed was the only part of the bed that was really messed up and the other bed was still perfectly made. It was almost if he was the only one who slept in the room that night. He knew he was the first one in, so he didn't actually know if the other three came in. Fear started to encompass him and he was overall confused as to what was going on. After thinking about it for awhile he started to wonder if someone actually did come into his room this morning. He decided to walk outside to see if anyone else was up, and to eat breakfast, when he noticed two people talking already. They both had eyepatches so he knew that they were Zoey and Julius. Team Eyepatch like jokes started to enter his head but quickly shook it off as stupid humor. Then his fears were slightly uplifted. Zoey was here and well meaning her Shane and Estelle probably just did something last night late into the night without coming back into the inn. Totally that, no other reason at all. "Good morning Zoey, Julius."
BRANDON HARRISON: ///Day 19 (2/4)\\\///October 10th, 2013\\\///Location: Manchester UK (Random Car--->Streets)\\\///Mood: Where to go?\\\ Brandon woke up a bit confused at first. Was he in a car or something? The hell was he doing in here? Was he being kidnapped by someone or- wait, his Tennis racket was right next to him. He thought it was weird that if someone kidnapped him they'd let him have his tennis racket. Then he started to think through this more logically and recalled the hell that had happened earlier that day. He looked out the car windows and saw his still wrecked house. Well shit. Brandon had no idea what the hell he was going to do now. He still received no word from his mother, at which point he left his phone in the now crushed house...not like it would've mattered anyway because the battery was long dead. He got out of the car and started playing around with his tennis racket and tennis ball. He simply hit the ball off the wall, back to him, and hit it again. This went on for a good twenty minutes until Brandon realized he was slightly hungry. He decided it was time for breakfast...with the zero money he had on him and the destroyed house that was there. He looked around and actually noticed the streets were pretty empty. He figured that everyone here probably already left to go to a refugee area of some sort or they were...well Brandon didn't like to think about the second option that could've happened. With nothing more to do he just sort of sat down on his house ruble and continued hitting his tennis ball back and forth.
Evan Allen Walker: {~~~Day 3 (4/4)~~~March 16th, 2016, Wednesday~~~Location: Enemy Territory(The Festival)~~~Mood: Was Fun~~~Music~~~Ooc:~~~} While they hadn't really figured anything too important out, it would be a lie to say the night that went by was a pointless one. In the end the two hadn't done much but eat and talk about other things. All in all Evan would say it was a pretty fun night and Dakota was a good companion to spend it with. With the night all said and done the two walked to the inn together and finally parted ways once they were inside. He walked over to his room, got dressed in sleepwear and dived into his bed. Tomorrow would probably an even bigger day than today what with the possible interrogation of Patrick and/or the attack on the Candy Shop. These mysteries will be solved and they will be done so in a timely manner...or whenever they revealed themselves. All Evan knew was that he was going to get them done one way or another and with that he fell asleep. Dennis Baker: [---Day 3 (4/4)---March 16th---Location: The Festival---Mood: Tired ---Ooc: N/A] With the day over at the festival Sasha and Dennis ended up making their ways back to the inn. It seemed rather awkward of a day at first but all and all it ended up being a fun night. He really wished there could be more times like this during his normal life and he may actually have to think of being more active and going to festivals and stuff at other times. Not to mention the festival actually ended up helping Dennis. Up until now he felt really nervous about the whole trip, but tonight had relieved a lot of it and he probably wouldn't be as reluctant to do everything anymore. Regardless once they got back to the inn Dennis went to bed and slept the night away.
BRANDON HARRISON: ///Day 18 (4/4)\\\///October 9th, 2013\\\///Location: Manchester UK (Street--->Random Car)\\\///Mood: Well now what?\\\ This hadn't been the best of days, that's for sure. He originally woke up bummed that he couldn't play tennis for a week...now he was bummed because he didn't have much of a house anymore. The neighborhood was in pretty poor shape and with damage done and the possibility of some aftershock to that monster of a quake, he didn't want any part in staying inside a house. So what did he do? The most logical of things of course. He walked to an unoccupied car that was near one of the more run down buildings and decided to spend the night there. He was a bit too afraid to try and find any other place to go to and he didn't want to leave too far in case his mother, (who he hadn't heard from yet,) were to appear at the house. Staying closer to here was probably the best of ideas. Hopefully the person who owned the car wouldn't mind that some kid decided to spend the night in it. Although the car was practically inviting him in seeing as it was unlocked. Little did Brandon know that the man who owned the car actually unlocked the car in before he was planning on leaving his house only to be crushed by the ceiling. But because he didn't know it he climbed into the trunk and slept for the night away, not really sure of what tomorrow would bring.
Evan Allen Walker: {~~~Day 3 (4/5)~~~March 16th, 2016, Wednesday~~~Location: Enemy Territory(The Festival)~~~Mood: Excited~~~Music~~~Ooc:~~~} The two had made with their plan and eventually got to the petting zoo with a paper cup of water. While it did seem odd to be giving an animal that was meant to interact with little kids some potentially poisonous, green eye making water, the case had to be furthered and they had to eliminate all possibilities. He watched as Dakota stepped up to the goat and gave it the water. After what appeared to be a little tussle between the goat and Dakota she managed to take the cup before the goat ate it. They both watched for a bit before they found that...nothing at all happened. It was a bit disappointing, but hey, that was part of the investigative process. "Sorry." "Oh it's fine. I mean I wouldn't have thought of it and it narrowed our possible green eye making culprits down." He gave her another thumbs up for a job well done. Then he started to put on more of a thinking face. It was very unlikely for the town to give birth to, uh, lots of green eyed people...unless green eyed people were all that ever came and lived in this town. What else could do this to them. Maybe it actually was the candy, though that didn't make much sense if other people already ate it. Then again it could be as likely as the water. "Well provided prolonged exposure to this water isn't necessary to for your theory then maybe the culprit is the candy after all. Like Torv said it is the locals biggest product they sell or something like that. I mean sure some people did eat it before but maybe it's like, eating it over a long period of time? Though we probably couldn't try it on an animal without it dying and we shouldn't use one of our own as a 'test subject'" He started rubbing his head. He couldn't really think of anything more to do here, at the festival of what could be going on."Sorry for not being good at this detective thing. Really the only place I'll think we'll get info from now is that mysterious third floor of the Candy Store and maybe Patrick." He felt a bit bad about not being able to think of things as well as Dakota was, but he decided to turn it around and maybe just have some fun for the rest of the night. "Well unless an epiphany strikes I'm not sure what else to do so, want to just have fun for the rest of the night? Since I kind of chose kite flying, we can do whatever you want now."
Dennis Baker: [---Day 3 (4/4)---March 16th---Location: The Festival---Mood: Let's have fun/Awkward ---Ooc: N/A] He was happy to see that Sasha had been feeling better all around. It was nice that any air of awkwardness between them had been dispelled and he was about to respond to her saying that she was happy that things were cool between them...and then she grabbed him and ran through the festival. He hadn't been expecting it but it didn't really matter. He was laughing all the way as they ran throughout town until they finally stopped in the center. "Hmm...well it is past half the day so we gotta choose some events carefully..." Oh? He was assuming that she was leading him somewhere specific in mind. Well it was alright. Dennis tried to think of a place to go to when suddenly he noticed that Sasha's face was seriously red. What had happened that had her so red in the face? "Oh! I-I'm sorry Dennis. I just...grabbed on an instinct..." Eh? That's when his eyes went down and noticed that she was still...holding his hand. Well this was really awkward and made Dennis a tad nervous. His face started blushing as well and then they let go hands. The moment of not awkwardness was there and then it passed them by really fast with this situation. "S-So sorry Dennis. I just...yea... "O-oh no worries." He let out a nervous chuckle and tried to think of what to say. Did he really just say no worries? Dennis was really mentally kicking himself for not being able to respond to this situation. After all it was just Sasha and they were just hanging out and having a good time. Clearly with this new awkwardness they needed a distraction of some sort to break out. "Um, s-so how about, um... paintball! That's fun right we should totally play paintball. Let's go there." He was still nervously chuckling as he spat out his words in quick succession. This night was so not going well for them.
Dennis Baker: [---Day 3 (4/5)---March 16th---Location: The Festival---Mood: Let's have fun ---Ooc: N/A] They had all finally made it to the inn after that yacht ride. He had ended up walking in on a pretty interesting situation that he couldn't make heads or tails of. In fact the whole situation got really awkward, especially when another person started interrogating both of them. It didn't help when they got to the inn and he ended up being roomed with all three of them. This night was going to be interesting for sure. Not soon after everyone got situated in the inn did they learn that apparently the old atlas was correct. With that confirmed apparently everyone thought it was a good idea to go to a festival or something like that. Really Dennis thought examining some suspicious areas would be more useful but he had to go with the flow. The Festival was bright and blooming and everything was just peachy. He was sort of suspicious of the whole thing but he figured he try to have some fun while he was here. "U-umm hey Dennis. S-sorry about all I said on the yacht. I wasn't...thinking right. Umm...would you mind if we walked together to the festival? I'd love to accompany you." "Oh no it's fine, really. You were just on edge is all." He tried to reassure her. Granted he hadn't been the best at trying to calm or reassure her beforehand and he was doing probably a crap job now, but he was going to try and at least be happy he was here. "I'd be honored for you to accompany me." He let out a bit of a chuckle and bowed. When he figured they should probably actually go do something."So um, where exactly do you want to go?" He started scratching his head and gave a goofy smile because he wasn't entirely sure about where he wanted to go at all. He didn't go to festivals like this often and as such he didn't really know what would be the best thing to do was. Plus he was trying to make Sasha feel better and figured he should give her the choice of what to do.
Evan Allen Walker: {~~~Day 3 (4/5)~~~March 16th, 2016, Wednesday~~~Location: Enemy Territory(The Festival)~~~Mood: Excited~~~Music~~~Ooc:~~~} As soon as he asked his questions Dakota looked like she went from not right to totally horrible. He may have actually decided to take her back to the Inn or find someplace to get her checked out if she didn't continue talking after that. "A-assuming they're not all related ... Maybe there's something in the water ...?" Hmm. The water? "Uh. You know I heard about the government putting stuff in our water. Not just that fluoride stuff either. Like, poisons to cut our life spans short. Pop-population, you know - ouch." Whoa the government was putting stuff in their water? Evan always knew they were monitoring every little thing they did. That's why he hardly ever used his phone and never trusted the tv. Really most of his info came from forums and stuff on the internet, but even then he wasn't entirely sure those posts weren't government controlled. He'd probably have to go buy a new water filter when all this was done. Tangent aside Evan was a tad worried by her sudden "ouch" but then realized it was because she probably yanked on it, seeing as she was habitually (most likely) rolling her hair in her hand. "Maybe we should get a sample of water from somewhere and ... I don't know. Um. We could do an animal test. We should catch a squirrel, or something, maybe." Evan was kind of interested by this conjecture. He never figured the water could've been something that was affecting the populace of Bentley, but even then use a squirrel to test it on? Evan had tried to catch squirrels many times in his younger years and was met with very little success. In fact his closest time was when he was out in the backyard with his father and a squirrel actually ran towards him. Unfortunately his dad ended up killing the squirrel before Evan could hug it and the situation never presented itself again. With that in his mind he realized that catching a wild animal of any form would probably prove to be really difficult. But that's when the proverbial lightbulb went off and he recalled something. "Hey remember that petting zoo that's here. If we could get some water in like a cup or something than we could probably bring it over there and give it to one of the animals there." He thought about that for a second and thought maybe if the animals lived here they might already have green eyes, but he'd cross that bridge when they got there. "You're pretty good at this investigating thing Dakota." He gave her a thumbs up. "Well let's go." With that Evan started to get excited and went along with Dakota's plan to get some water and test it on the animals at the petting zoo.
Evan Allen Walker: {~~~Day 3 (4/5)~~~March 16th, 2016, Wednesday~~~Location: Enemy Territory(The Festival)~~~Mood: It's a party!(and sleuthy)~~~Music~~~Ooc:~~~} 『 S-Su ... uh ... sure, yeah, okay.』 Well that was good. Travelling not by yourself, especially in horror movies at festivals, was always a good idea. However he also noticed that she had put on a pair of sunglasses, which was weird since it was night. He thought about it for a second and then realized everyone and their mother who was here happened to have green eyes. What, did this town have a green eye fetish or something? Evan's already strangely colored eyes would probably make him stick out from the rest of the Bentley folk. Thankfully Evan always had his pair of sunglasses on hand, but when his hand reached into his pocket a sudden confliction happened. Evan was perfectly able to put on these sunglasses, but the opportunity for a pun hadn't prompted itself. What was a man to do? Go with guaranteed safety or follow the (self-made) rules of the sunglasses wearing. He could try to think of a pun, but then he'd be forcing it. And what's the point of forcing a pun, than it just seems unnatural and bad. In the end he resigned himself to his own safety and put on his sunglasses. With that ordeal done he decided that kites would be a good place for the two of them to go to. Afterall most of the attention would be drawn to the kites, instead of them two, and it could possibly show them something interesting about the citizens of Bentley. Like if they used metal razor blade kites of death or something...also kites were cool because they flew, but that was a secondary motivation as opposed to the others. With that done the both of them walked over to the kite area and were greeted by it's majesty. It was absolutely awesome looking. The hill had some nice flowers and the view showed a city and great looking lake, water, body, thing. Point is it was a great view. For some reason there was also a piano melody playing from who knows where. Regardless he grabbed a kite and began to let it sail through the sky (after doing all kite flying procedure stuff.) It was sailing through the air quite nicely, alongside all the other kites that were there. He was a bit absorbed into it until he realized that he hadn't really seen anything that warranted suspicion (except for the odd music playing,) and his female conspiracist hadn't said much. 『 Uh.』 Uh? Usually someone said that when they were trying to bring something up...or were just uncomfortable. He looked over at Dakota and noticed she looked the opposite of well. Was she feeling alright? Was she cold? He decided to check on her and see how everything was after pulling his kite back to him. "Hey you doing alright there? Something the matter?"
Evan Allen Walker: {~~~Day 3 (3/5)~~~March 16th, 2016, Wednesday~~~Location: Enemy Territory(The Festival)~~~Mood: It's a party!(and sleuthy)~~~Music~~~Ooc: sorry no rainbow~~~} They had arrived at the inn basically flying blind. Sure they had gotten some info on how things were 3 years ago and were able to pull some info from the library, but other than that they were going in dark. Regardless the gang all stepped off the Mystery Machine boat and went into the inn, the place they'd be staying for the nice. They were greeted by a less than friendly receptionist, (who had a good throwing arm on her,) and eventually got all their rooms. Evan was a part of the same group that he was in back at Whittlerose. And that had been hella fun so he was totally looking forward to spending the night with each and everyone of them. After throwing his stuff in his room he decided he'd try and gain some info. Apparently there had been a festival that was coming up on them and they all figured to go there. Before that though, Evan decided to figure out something that had been bugging him. That conspiracy gal, Dakota, had brought up a good point about the two atlases being different and he wanted nothing more than to figure out what the conspiracy was. He decided to ask the belligerent receptionist and was directed to speak with Patrick if they wanted to get to any of those old atlas areas. However that was all the info she was willing to give and with that they went off to go to have some festival fun. The Festival looked fantastically fun. There was all kinds of exciting things to do around the place, and given any other circumstance he might've enjoyed it to his heart's content. But he was in town of many conspiracies, Bentley. And he had to be ever vigilant to make sure he didn't fall into some trap...though that didn't mean he wouldn't try to have some fun while he could. Granted it'd look weird to have some festival fun without someone else as festival fun partner. He decided to rectify this immediately and the first person his eyes told him to pick for said partner was none other than his perfectly sane, calm, and rational acquaintance...Dakota. He also felt like this would be a good time to check up on her, seeing as he had no idea how she was feeling after Erik took over on the boat. He walked over to her and went, "hey Dakota. You feeling better now? If so want to hang out and do some festival fun activities with me?" However he soon then added in a quieter tone, "and maybe try to see what's up with all these people? I don't really know why, but this place seems too suspicious to be this normal." He was not entirely sure what was with the whole vibe he was getting here from the fair, but his suspicions were nagging away at him. This festival thing seemed like it was all part of one big cover up or probably have some weird cultish undertones to it.
2BRANDON HARRISON: ///Day 18 (3/4)\\\///October 9th, 2013\\\///Location: Manchester UK (Brandon's House--->Street)\\\///Mood: Holy ****!\\\ Brandon was enjoying his fun game of basketball...or rather just dribbling and throwing the ball around by himself on his roof when suddenly something crazy happened. The entire roof started to just shake, actually everything started to shake. Due to being distracted by this, when the ball hit the ground it bounced back up and hit against his chest. Minimal damage compared to what has happened. He watched as his ball kept bouncing around and realized this earthquake was in now way unrelenting at any given moment. The ball bounced off the roof, but it was an acceptable loss as Brandon decided it'd be a good idea as any to get the **** off this roof and get the **** away from his house. After all earthquakes could only knock you off balance, building could crush you. Brandon started panicking and just sprinted as fast as he could to his stare well. He tripped a bit due to the violent shaking of the building but quickly got himself back up to run a bit down the staircase. Right before he reached the second floor of his place the stairs came out from under him and he fell down, hard, onto the floor. The pain came right at him but he was too busy with trying to run for his life to care. He noticed that the walls the ceiling was cracking and breaking apart. A piece of the ceiling landed in front of him, which he thanked any and all deities for it not hitting him because there was a good chance he would've died otherwise. Finally barreling downstairs he finally got to the light at the end of the tunnel. Just as he was about to leave his tennis racket and a ball flew down from the ceiling from where he judged his mothers room was. He just couldn't bear the sight and did probably the stupidest thing he could. He ran after his racket and ball picking them up once there, dodging all the debris while he could. With his two most precious possessions he sprinted out of the house, rammed through the unlocked door, and finally made it to the safety of not indoors.
BRANDON HARRISON: ///Day 18 (2/4)\\\///October 9th, 2013\\\///Location: Manchester UK (Brandon's House)\\\///Mood: To a new day\\\ Brandon woke up that day ready to go on for adventure of any sort. He needed to do something that would keep his mind away from the tragic loss of tennis racket and tennis balls. It would be too much to bear it all just by sitting and reading. The only way to avoid it was to get active. He slipped on his glasses and went downstairs for breakfast. His mother left him a note about surveying the town and seeing what was left in the wake of the storm. After all an electric storm like that doesn't just pass through a town and do no damage at all. After eating a piece of bread that was still left from the current loaf he decided to go outside and start up his day. Granted he didn't really want to go outside in the town himself because who knows how ****** a situation the town would be in. There'd probably be looters and stuff, which he did not want to mess with. He got out a basketball from the hall closet and slipped on a jacket, sweatpants, and his shoes before taking a stairwell to the roof of his home. Once there he just sort of sat there for a bit, letting the feeling of fresh air breeze around him. It felt so nice to be outside after having to be holed up in his house for so long. He looked at the basketball and realized how awful of an idea it was. There were literally an infinite amount of bad things that could happen. But that never stopped him before. He dribbled on the roof and did some mock shots, to nowhere in particular, to drag the day away.
