Lexx turned his attention back to Xane, "The Brotherhood's in this? Hmm... well, I have no power over the races so... I don't know, take it up with this worlds racing rep, he or she could do something about them..."
Nulix gasped, "Look at this! I have 30 trillion dollars!" Lexx chuckled, "I have 30 trillion dollars as well. That's the Ulfire dollar from the Ulfire system, my home system actually. The money there is in different worth, but 30 trillion is about... three thousand Sora dollars, maybe." OOC: ...Dk, I can't have Xardius be a... trillionaire. Because if the UO gets rich a lot of the character and story problems disappear. Many plots get abandoned...
Lexx shook his head, "No... I didn't hear about that... but I don't really follow these, uh, minor league races."
"Aint that something," Nulix commented in a whisper of a voice... "Eyo Nulix! Eyo Xane!" Lexx yelled from across the way. "Your two ready for the big race?"
"Yeah!" Nulix replied in a hilarious tone...
"HOOHA!" Nulix yelled.
Nulix woke up the next morning, a bandage still wrapped around his eye. Nulix walked to the hotel bathroom and splashed some cold water on his face. "Wonder if I can take this off yet..." Nulix muttered, looking at himself in the mirror. Nulix reached for the bandage and unwrapped it, reveling a new left eye, identical to the one on the right. Nulix smiled, looking around. "This is awesome... I can win that race for sure now," Nulix said, grabbing the new clothing Lexx had given him yesterday. Nulix looked at himself in the mirror, white collard shirt, black jacket, and a pair of jeans. Formal yet casual. Nulix couldn't help but smile at himself. "New day awaits," He said, whistling to himself as he walked out the door and down the stairs.

The reason this works now is because we both want the Brotherhood destroyed. Its shallow, but in this case it works." Nulix smiled, trying to lighten the tension a bit, "Besides... me, Xane, Bella, Xereny, Geryl... we aren't exactly on the fast track to a well lived life. I need money, I can't do this much longer... he's offering to give us... millions. I'll take that." *** The Virus shifted in it's cage, trying to get out, to be free...
The world around the man started to shift, and suddenly he was back in the Dark Worlds. *** "Relax," Nulix replied, "Wing shouldn't be stupid and defend our enemy. Vecked bombed the Sora System, remember? Isn't it natural for them to want him? And besides, Lexx just wants us to sign, he thinks giving me a free surgery will help my decision. Its just a favor from Lexx."
Vecked looked at the man and shook his head, "Nah... I know who you are... your just another man, playing with fire... which means your nothing like me." The ship suddenly blew apart in flames, sending Vecked and the man flying to the ground. *** "Nice shot," Niles said, patting a gunner on the back. "Have we got the portal ready?" "As ready as it can be," An agent replied, showing an extremely unstable portal generated by hundreds of machines. "So this will take Vecked half way across the galaxy, your telling me?" Niles asked. The agent nodded. "...Alright then," Niles said. "The body!" Two agents yelled, dragging Vecked's form up to the Niles and the machine. "Escort him, come on, quickly, lets move!" Niles yelled, as the two agents jumped into the portal with Vecked's body. One second, Vecked was in the Dark Worlds, the next, he was in the northern ends of the Sora System. *** "See ya, man," Nulix said, waving Xane off... OOC: Have to go, see ya.
"He said he may be able to put me through a, uh, eye surgery to make me... see in my left eye," Nulix said, "He said we could do it tonight even, which is fantastic, ya know? Good race, man, by the way... some dangerous drivers here, and I suspect we just saw half of them today. Tomorrow they will be everywhere on the real track, ya know? Much harder..."
Nulix clapped as Xane raced past the finish line. "This thing is a death trap," Nulix muttered, as the drivers who finished exited their cars. "You got that right," Lexx said, standing beside him, "Nulix, I heard about your eye." "I don't need your pity, Lexx, thanks anyway," Nulix replied. "Pity?" Lexx said, almost insulted, "I want to help you! I got a surgeon, does wonders in eye sight. I brought him cause I think I need a new pair of reading glasses, and now he can help you! One of the many things the U.P.A. can offer." Nulix raised an eyebrow, "Really?" "Of course," Lexx replied. "Alright, sure thing, tonight even?" Nulix asked. Lexx nodded. "Alright, good," Nulix said, "Thank you... now, if you don't mind I'll go check on Xane, alright?" "Nice race," Nulix said, walking past the other vehicles to Xane's Magma Phaser.
It was getting harder and harder to see in the storm. Nulix had trouble seeing the red and black driver beside even. Suddenly, his rival driver was gone, and Nulix was alone. "Wheres the road?" Nulix muttered, covering his mouth as to not breath in the sand. Nulix drove blindly for a few seconds until he left the ground. The sand disappeared as Nulix's ship hit the ground. He had driven off the edge of the track, and it was a long drop to the ground. Nulix stumbled out of his vehicle and examined it, "Thank god this thing landed on it's feet," Nulix muttered, "I can't afford to fix it before tomorrows big race." Nulix looked beside him. The red and black racer stood nearby, his ship half molded to the ground. The driver had also fallen and wasn't as lucky as Nulix, now his ship was just a burnt up piece of rubble.
Nulix pushed a vehicle to the side, sending it crashing into a wall and blowing up. The driver was ejected in a sphere as his ship blew to pieces. "Maybe I should have used that guy's train of thought and put some safety devices in my ship," Nulix muttered. The black and red ship sped up to Nulix. Nulix saw the advancing opponent and got ready to block any weapon he may have. The ship hit Nulix to the side. Nulix responded by hitting twice as hard. "We must both be out of ammo," Nulix muttered, ramming the ship beside him. The two started to drive into the sand storm... OOC: Good point...

The red and black driver boosted into the air at the lake, flying over it for just a second before he came crashing back down towards the water. As soon as the ship touched the water, the driver was back in the air, going across the lake like a pebble thrown across a river. "I have an idea," Nulix muttered, driving towards the lake. As soon as he reached the edge of the water, Nulix boosted into the air, twirling as he did so. After a second, Nulix's ship began to fall face first towards the water below. Nulix began rapidly firing his turrets towards the water, the force of the large bullets coming out of the guns was enough to keep the lite ship airborne. Nulix landed on the other side of the lake, boosting down the continued track... OOC: ...The force of bullets leaving a turret being enough force to keep a vehicle airborne is a stretch, I know... but hey, you need to suspend your imagination... that's all.
Nulix drove through the rock slide, trying to avoid whatever came his way. "Almost done," Nulix muttered, dodging a few more rocks. Suddenly, a huge rock hit the side of his ship, causing him to swerve out of control. "Come on! Balance out! Balance out!" Nulix yelled, trying to exchange the power drive to the hit part of his ship. Nulix was hit by another passing ship colored red and black. Nulix flew out of the boulder field swerving uncontrollably. Nulix launched his ship to the side of the track, ramming it against the wall until it was steady. The problem was that most of the cars had past him while he did this. "Come on!" Nulix yelled, boosting his car back into the race...
