Nulix and Pharell drove through the wheel, a large globe where the track went off the ground and twisted upside down. Nulix tried to land as many hits on Pharell as possible, which was no more then two or three. *** "As our drivers exit the wheel, nothing but the long last stands between them and the finish," The announcer said. *** Nulix exited the wheel steadily. The upside was that the finish line was in sight, no more turns or anything, just a long stretch of road. The downside was that Nulix's vehicle was practically falling apart, pieces flying off as he drove...
The giant hand separated and scattered onto the track like an oil spill, only if the oil was trying to latch onto the ships. "Ah!" Nulix yelled, as the black sand attached itself to his tires...
"The next and final obstacle is..." The announcer began, "The Molders Statue." On the ground, there was a huge pit that the track went over and around. A large hand made of black sand rose from the pit, ready to destroy any of the vehicles passing on the track... *** "That's the Anti-Virus reverse experiment..." Lexx muttered from the stands, "Someone stop this race."
The Brotherhood driver pushed Nulix until he was basically driving against the wall of the track's ridge. Nulix pressed down on his jumps and blasted the Brotherhood Driver into the opposite wall. "That's what I'm talkin' about!" Nulix yelled, speeding up. *** "And with less than a quarter lap to go, only one obstacle stands between our drivers and victory," The announcer said...
OOC: It just is... BIC: Nulix tried to jump out of the Brotherhood driver's grind but was unable too. Nulix tried to swerve as much as he could, but it made no difference...
Nulix turned forward again once he was out of ammo. Him and the Brotherhood driver had just past Xane...
Nulix tried to dodge the Brotherhood drivers canons. A few hits and he would be out of the race, his ship just couldn't take it. Nulix swerved to avoid the drivers shots, which was causing him to go slower and slower. "This ain't gonna work," Nulix muttered, before turning his vehicle all the way around and shooting at the driver while driving backwards... OOC: Edited because Pirate made me read his post wrong...
Nulix jumped to the side, over the Brotherhood driver, causing him to hit and grind the wall. Nullix tried to remain in front, but the damage to his vehicle was really slowing him down. "God damn it, work!" Nulix yelled, trying to drive around the bends, Xane and Sellers both passing him...

"Hoha!" Nulix yelled, boosting towards Pharell. "You goin' down!" Nulix yelled, trying to hit the back of Pharell's ship...
"Woo!" Nulix yelled, pushing another driver to the side. "Looks like we got a real race here!" *** "No, no, no, no, no!" Lexx yelled, pushing half his equipment onto the ground. "Calm down," Skinnar said on the screen. "How the hell can I calm down!?" Lexx yelled. "I'm calm," Skinnar replied. "All I said was that I'll refuse the Grand Commander offer." "You realize what that'll do?!" Lexx yelled, "Your brothers gonna die! We have no chain of command, you understand? Now if you not a total idiot your gonna go back back into Richards office and sign that contract!" "Jesus, calm down." Skinnar replied, "I have a life, Lexx. I've made good money, I have a family, friends, I'm gonna have a child... I ain't gonna risk it all for the brother I never knew." "How can you do this to us!?" Lexx yelled. "It's a business man technique, Lexx," Skinnar explained. "Before the last few weeks I didn't even know I had a brother in our military. I would've known had he be building a name for himself. They found my brother and they ranked me up after I refused, in hopes that I would agree so that I could organize your military. They thought that I didn't want my brother to die so I would make a better military for them." "You want him dead," Lexx asked. "You want Niles Skinnar dead?!" Skinnar shook his head, "Of course not, Lexx... but I'd much rather have him dead then me... because me dead would mean no father for my child, no husband for my wife." "You can go straight to hell, Skinnar..." Lexx muttered. "You don't mean that..." Skinnar replied. Lexx chuckled, "...Your right... I don't." Skinnar smiled, "There is one thing I wanted to ask you about. We get a billion bucks to go to war from the Sora government, we only use a million or less on military, where is the rest of that money going, Lexx?' Lexx sighed, "...Your my friend, right Rentu?" "Of course," Skinnar replied. Lexx looked down, "We don't think the Brotherhood is a threat-." "What?!" Skinnar interrupted, "They blew half our good men to hell!" "We... don't think Scourge ordered those attacks," Lexx explained, "We know... for a fact that the Brotherhood is not completely under Scourge's control. He has a money man semi running things for him, we believe he ordered the attacks." "And you think Scourge won't respond to the fact that you have a weak army?!" Skinnar asked. Lexx shook his head, "That is a possibility, he might burn our bases in the Dark Worlds to the ground... but its unlikely. He would be hurting the people, which we think... is not his goal. Scourge has a goal, a destroyed world isn't part of it." Skinnar paused, before glancing up at Lexx. "Has anyone thought of the obvious alternative?" "And what would that be?" Lexx asked. "Someone... in the U.P.A., made a deal with a Brotherhood member," Skinnar said, "Then they sent the Brotherhood member to blow the hell out of everyone and attack the Sora System so we could go to war... this person has political power and was able to control the budget knowing that Scourge didn't do those attacks, so there was no reason for a strong army and no fear of another attack. Then this person leaves the U.P.A. a billion dollars richer." Lexx looked down as Skinnar finished talking, "One person... could never do that." Skinnar paused, a hint of suspicion, "...No Lexx, your right... one person couldn't..." Lexx glanced away from the screen, "I'll be... uh, seeing you, buddy." "Yeah... I'll see you soon." Skinnar replied, before his face flicked off the screen... *** "As our drivers go through the last lap of the race, there is still no clear victor," One announcer said, "Everyone still in the race is so close that anyone is still eligible to win the prize! We've got no predictions on this one, folks!"

"LETS DO THIS!!" Nulix yelled, his finger on the jump trigger. "This type of thing is my specialty!" Nulix said, turning, jumping, and dodging them all...
Nulix put all his vehicles weight to the side and rammed Venture Jr. into the wall. "Ahaha!" Nulix yelled, shifting his vehicles weight from front to back, hitting Venture Jr.'s ship in both areas. Venture Jr. replied with a boosted jump, causing Nulix to flip completely to the other side of the track. Nulix was gonna go in with another attack when the boulders began to fly towards them. *** "Looks like we have a malfunction on the boulders," One announcer commented, "Hopefully our leaders can make it through in one piece."
Nulix did what the other smart drivers did to get across the first obstacle. "Mine field time," Nulix grinned. This had been unaltered from the training course. Nulix began to boost up the side of the walls when he was suddenly hit by the red and black driver, who was followed by the Destiny Islands driver. The three drivers flew through the air, spinning while many other vehicles blew to pieces in the mine field. The Destiny driver hit the ground first and began to swerve, then the red and black driver hit, whose ship was nothing but a burnt up rock at this point. Nulix hit the red drivers ship head on and was thrown back into the air. Nulix used his two second boosts to get steady once more and landed on the ground, everyone but Pharell and the Brotherhood Pilot behind him at this point. Nulix smiled reluctantly, "That actually got me ahead..." he said, before looking at his vehicle damage level. "Oh come on!" Nulix yelled, before accelerating a bit...
Nulix swallowed. "I'm ready," He said, not so much for the commlink but himself.
Nulix and the red driver attacked in perfect harmony. Going to the side of the track then back in the middle to hit the other, go to the side, come in for the hit. For the unfortunate Bubbledee Tubbs Bath equipment driver, this was a bad thing. The driver thought he could pass the two by driving in the middle, while they went to the side. The driver was crushed as the two ships rammed each other. The impact sent Nulix flying to the left, the red driver to the right, and whatever was left of the Bubbledee Tubbs driver down the middle. The Tubbs ship flew into another far behind Nulix, causing both the ships to explode. Nulix swerved behind Xardius and Xane, trying to regain control over his vehicle. After a second of strong steering Nulix was back on the road, if not a little behind. Nulix looked at his monitor, there was a blue and gold Gummi coming up. The blue was classic U.P.A., and the gold was the gold of the Universal Racing League. On the front of the Gummi was the official Destiny Islands logo. "Shouldn't a Destiny Islands racer be racing in Destiny Islands?" Nulix muttered, as the racer sped up...
"Heyo!" Nulix yelled, flying above Xane and Xardius's heads. Nulix was followed by two other racers, one was the red and black driver from the training track. The other was someone who was clearly sponsored by Bubbledee Tubbs Bath equipment. "Remember me!" Nulix yelled, immedeitly pushing the red driver into the wall...
"Hoha," Nulix said.
