OOC: Of course, Tifa is the cheery one, except recently ^^. I was just about to ask where you've been Dr. Evil. And Fire, sure you don't want to keep Twilight? Axel let out a long, short breath, as if preparing for what was to come, though it was obvious he was still reluctant. He got the promise though, but he stayed quiet for awhile as they kept going ahead, his eyes gazing at how close they were to the boardwalk as of now, which wasn't that far. While the reminder of their shaky situation between them after that night kind of made him curl nastily again, he tilted his head in contemplation, trying to put into words just what Larxene is to him, and put his mind into a more positive light. It was hard. It was hard to describe just how she is, what attracted him to her so much, what he is when with her, and how she makes him feel. Axel didn't want to get to descriptive either, keep it simple, so he won't end up upsetting Rei even more. Chewing on his lip, he licked it, before speaking, "You're both pretty in your own way, so I won't talk about the physical attributes..." He scratched his head, his expression in a "whoa" type of feature, as if explaining about Larxene was rather insane. "Well, Larxene...I don't even know where to start..." He chuckled there, finding something funny, though he wasn't certain what made it so. With a sigh, he slightly centered his vision on the sky. "Honestly, if you said to me, that I would ever date the Prep that is Larxene, I would've clawed your esophagus and laugh at the stupidity of the suggestion. We didn't always get along, too much headstrong, too much of both being hard-headed and stubborn, and we clashed at that, but we've known each other since elementary...around sixth grade, though it wasn't what you would say a friendship. The only conversation we had was fighting, and it wasn't up until this year that we...proceeded further. You see...I admit, that while we weren't the best of companions, something drew me to her. Something magnifying that I couldn't escape or be free of, and kept coming back. I don't know if she was the same, yet we never could avoid each other...if we had to fight, we would..." Axel blinked, taking a pause before he continued as his memories recollected, a sardonic smirk on his face. "It's funny. In the beginning of this year, while I made the morning announcements, we basically both hit each other and about to rip the other up in a fight, until some dude...I forgot who, broke us apart. Perhaps, it was hidden tension and attraction that we never fully gave out, and it took a turn the second she said that she thought of me, that I was in her mind, and I hunted her down for that secret, not knowing why, but understanding now. I guess I did like her...ever since I met her. I just didn't see it, and maybe, neither did she..." He couldn't help the smile that replaced the said smirk. "I'm getting into history now, more than details, so I'll get to it, despite it being a part of my explanation. Larxene...Larxene, I don't know...every time I look at her, she has this fire, deep within her aquatic eyes, this deep fire with some strength that was inner as much as outward, and such elegance, as well. She's witty, she has this sensuality and seduction about her that drives me nuts, you just think that she's waiting for the right moment to bring it out. She's strong in character, as well as in her powers and abilities, and never backs down, or lets anyone walk all over her. She's clever, and quick-witted, a good example being when she turned that whole mess of the dress scenario back on you when you ruined it, and convert it into this sexy, piece of clothing..." He eyed Rei at that, raising a amused eyebrow at the failed plot against her in the dance. Something that was forgiven of course, by him, at least. Axel still didn't know whether she had spoken to the blonde. However, considering he was on a roll and finally knew what to say, he went to rant on, his eyes lighting up in a gleam. "She's a bit sadistic, but that just adds to her alluring charm, something naughty, feisty, and she won't let me go farther more than she's comfortable with, and puts me in a stand still so that she has some control over me. Or so she thinks. But she makes me wish for that more. Luckily, I can slide my way into it if I try hard enough, with my manipulative skills. I guess you can add the whole dominatrix thing that I'm somehow fond of, she does it in a way that's sexy as hell. I like challenges, and she provides them every time we speak, and...is not the usual challenge, like when you and me play around. I challenge her too, yet hers is different from mine, so it reminds me that we're not that similar. She's smart too, of course, but the most part about her that intrigues, that makes me...have such a strong feel for her, is her vulnerability. She's lovely...and I don't mean in aesthetics, I mean...inside. While usually mean and unlikable, she can be the sweetest thing, believe it or not, loving and tender, and more open instead of being closed-up...those are my favorite times with her, really, and when I feel like I know her the best. It keeps reminding me that she's still a girl, and has her own emotions, and her own insecurities, is actually normal instead of always PMSing, it makes me curious, interested, to gain knowledge about her life, and her. At those times, all I want to do is hold her, at those times...those times is when I find her the most beautiful..." It was there he was done, taking his time to breath as he rambled all of it out in one swoop, his eyes wide in surprise at his words, and his cheeks flushed at the cheesiness of it all, especially the last line. A bit embarrassed, as he grimaced, he ran a hand down his face, peeking at Rei beside him. "The end was pathetic sounding, right? Got to ahead of myself. But really, that's how I can describe when people turn fragile...for someone who's as cold as her. I just don't know what drives me to her, even after that speech, I just do. Is hard to explain. Can you imagine? All this about her in just...short days? She's quite amazing, and really, you and Tifa should get to know her better. I'm not in love with her, either...I know I'm not, to put it out as well, at least not yet, but so far, I'm entranced." Tifa calmly walked with Aerith after they both got up from looking down at the pool from the edge, and were heading to the changing rooms, so she could put on her bathing suit, properly, and they can continue what they planned. Just the two of them. However, a voice calling both their names resonated around the pool, and that was enough to stop her in her tracks, just as heart stopped beating for that second, getting caught by surprise. She felt Aerith jump, and turn around to face him, but she remained with her back to him, her chest aching with that same hurt, and yet, she didn't know whether to hate him or not. Tifa just didn't look, for the better fact that she was still upset, and didn't want to garner a reaction. Her face frowned again as she felt hot tears gather up as the necessity to cry welled up in her stomach and in her throat, but she willed them away. Her face was pretty back to normal so far after she had stopped, and there was no way she was going to show tears once more in front of this b@stard. She didn't turn still, and crossed her arms as her eyes shifted down, letting him and Aerith talk as she waited for them to finish. The first thing Aerith did when she heard his deep voice was say "ZOMGWTFBBQ!!!" halt immediately, startled that he made it, and curious, she twirled around quickly as a automatic reaction, expecting to see the others there, but no. Just Cloud. She gazed at him for a long while, her orbs searching his handsome face as to what they keep, yet he appeared quite normal other than something troubling him in a small percentage. The second thing she did, was, as she reminded herself of the situation, to check out Tifa in a sense of dread, the girl next to her with her back to them, though her body was obviously tense. Aerith bit her bottom lip, feeling not only the air getting thicker, but the awkward fact that she was between the two feuding sides. Admittedly, this did not really concern her truly, because unlike Tifa, there was no words given to her directly about the topic, despite the fact that she was insulted as well, somewhat. Only by Yuffie though. Surely, she was still mad at Cloud for what he said, the glare he gave her, and Leon, but she didn't feel as affected as her friend is. She then found herself rubbing her arm with the hand that did not have the bikini top, and didn't exactly know what to say. The problem was too personal for her to cheerily say "hi", and was too much left in bad terms to even talk. None of them were doing anything, and so it remained silent for a while, her stare shifting from the blond to Tifa anxiously, and at times gave Cloud a dirty look, but that didn't work mostly because it was unmeaningful. In the end, she just went with a whisper: "You're here..." Really? He is? Well, who would have thunk it, Aerith? She sighed.
Boo. >.>
Hur?What you mean? You haven't phailed me, Pyrɸ-chan T-T. Unless you're talking about Love. But that's not phail D:. I'm the one phailing. On you waitng for rmy update and my fanfic. TT^TT. Blame the system. Back when I was in high school (college for the Fall starts September 3rd. Boo), I only had a half hour plus ten minute break, which was lunch, and in the middle of the day. And my schedule was 7 periods. In senior year, it got down to five (some classes you only need three years acquired. The only one that has all four years is English, Math *chokes*, and Phys Ed. The rest is optional).
Naminé was, from hearing Diz, a bit nonplussed at the fact of returning back to Destiny Islands so soon. She knew it was needed, yet having her freedom for awhile did sink into her a bit, and she wasn't that thrilled, considering she can easily be Kairi again if by the mere touch of her affecting her. She wasn't even certain whether to even go back if she did have the opportunity to decide. Biting her lip gently, she kind of hesitated as she eyed the portal wearily, her eyes glittering in a inquisitive and lost gleam, until they were suddenly, and thankfully, interrupted by a stranger, asking for something...of a storm? Her expression went wide, looking around for a few seconds, then looking back at the man in front of her, not spotting anything in particular that was odd. Riku Replica and Ansem replied what she could've said, so she stayed in her silent demeanor as she watched the scene display itself. Even so...even as their "guide" was heading into the portal to reach Sora and the rest, making her stomach clench, she tilted her head at the arrival. Naminé was honestly curious, and she ended up repeating the Replica's question, as her eyebrows furrowed, again. "Who are you?" Xemnas had tried to log on to more files, but then, it seems, it was blocked. Instead of being upset that he was rejected, by the computer world this is in, he smiled relatively, his eyes narrowing, but delightfully. So, he has returned as well, has he? He understood that rift now on his skin. He wasn't positive on what to feel at this, not that he could feel anything to explore a contempt. However, it was set in his mind about how he did not understand him, and how he had gotten in the way. Xemnas had no sure plans about what to do with his specific time here, or the future yet, but he did not want to be held back by anything if it comes to it. It didn't matter that he could not access the files as well, it wasn't like he hadn't a copy of the originals. The problem, was that it was locked away in what would Hollow Bastion, or rather, Radient Garden, and he could not access his own vaults and secret within if he could not portal. But, that room... Either way, the information he had obtained were good enough to decipher and take apart some of the problems they were facing, as well as answering a few things by his own hypothesis, and all he could think was to explain this to the others, now that he had a chance. It wouldn't do good for them to stay in this world; they were merely stuck here for further purposes so they won't stray. It might not make such a difference if they did manage to somehow find a path around this perplexity, and separate, yet it will make it more difficult, for whoever is behind this for a while. That was another shadow. Who was behind this. He had not recalled anyone specifically of having plans on their own, or any such enemy to him, or Ansem. He backed off the machine, now finished, and went to portal to the meeting room, knowing the rest are waiting. Xemnas was aware Larxene and Demyx were not present, by the lack of their senses contacting him, so when he came to materialize on his throne, majestically the highest, he wasn't bothered when he saw that the two weren't there. He knew the others were sleeping, something that he wasn't pleased with still. He had needed everyone to be here, preferably the rest of his disciples, Zexion, Vexen, Lexaeus...and had not thought it would take this long for them to wake. He sighed quietly, and explored the faces that were here. Xaldin, his past partner, and Saïx, his second-in-command, the new, and Xigbar and Axel. Not much to go by. While he knew Larxene was around, he noted Demyx was not, in any matter whatsoever. What was that boy doing now? Settling down, the first thing he breathed was, "Is good to see that two of our members have awakened, Xadin and Saïx. Welcome back." He gazed at them momentarily in recognition, before locking gold eyes into twin chairs. "However, two are missing." He eyed them. "I can feel Larxene is terribly procrastinating close to us, yet, I do not feel Demyx anywhere. Has he gone from this world? I'm sure you've all noticed, that we cannot transport, so if he indeed has, is worth knowing in our knowledge. About why we can't portal, as well, now that we are in the topic...that would be explain dutifully once I know the member's whereabouts. And for Larxene to be here, she would be a fine candidate to explain when Marluxia does wake up." With that set, with a snap of his fingers, he called one of his Sorcerer Nobodies, and with a command, it went off to fetch the female. Xemnas did not know whether she was doing this on purpose, but it seemed to him perfectly that she had not changed. Larxene, had come to the point where she was laying down on the edge now, her back on the granite, as her eyes focused on the ever somewhat cloudy, night sky of The World That Never Was, flashes of blue-white lighting strewing across the dark surface, thunders heard in her ears a few times in turn. It was close to raining, she knew. It always almost rained here. At moments, it was that of a storm, or either light. She figured this was going to be a heavy one, considering how her body and static were reacting to it. She might even charge up. As she placed a arm behind her head comfortably, in perfect balance, with her lazily at the cliff of falling down on the street of the skyscraper, she sensed what was to come. A Nobody. What put her off was that it was Xemnas's, so that must mean he was present and expected her to be there. Rolling her eyes to the side irritatingly as she let out a breath, before the Nobody could notify her, she waved it off with her free hand, muttering, "I know, I know, I'll be there in a few." Not minding, it vanished off with its job automatically guessed, and Larxene stayed there for a few more seconds before she had to go, not in any hurry.
It must have eaten something D:. I missed your first post of you agreeing, that's why I didn't notice. Anyway, no demon background is good then. Huzzah! And I'm enjoying this break from the trial. No research for the while (yay, for laziness!). Is just funny that when we finally get to Axel, is a halt. Maybe if Zack calls on a recess while DF/Naminé still works around that, we can posts in normal RP format. I'm still spell checking my RP post for Soul, though. Darn Xemnas long thing. Night, Repliku!
Amber is correct. You live in New Zealand, right? And as for my MCNK (magical, cute nekomata kitty), do you mean that it comes from Wonderland (which is a good magical place for it to come from, actually, as the world is "mad". And weird with all these creatures anyway), or directly connected to the Cheshire Cat? Cause the description, appearance wise, is vastly different. Well, when you see my MCNK, you have to think Pokémon cuteness (though is not one, that's clear). And it has two fluffy tails. It always has to be fluffy to complete the adorable furball. Hell, even that Kilala(sp?) demon kitty cutie from Inuyasha, will do perfectly, as it fits the description. And I still need Repliku's final, final answer D:. Larxene will hate the poor thing (die cuteness >D!!!), though. For awhile. *goes back to finish replying to Soul Reason*
It seems Rice shares a lot of the fans' sentiments. I was also aware she was unhappy with it. You can't really blame a author. The demon kitty won't be anything powerful, or take a big form, or affect the plot in any way, I know what not to do, you can trust on that one. Just a stray tiny, demon (one of the weaker ones) that comes from another world in the many worlds of KH (and with Twilight Town, Traverse Town, and Radient Garden, it doesn't have to be Disney, so she can come from some unknown...piece of earth, so I guessed it wasn't farfetched). The worst thing she has is telepathy (for contact), super speed, summon a shield, and some small energy thing to attack (that comes from the mouth) that's not really a big deal. It doesn't even have to be a demon. Just a werid kitty with weird minimal powers. Magical creature type thing. Hey, lions and mermaids, as well as fish in that universe do talk and exist, after all. <.<; I tried the idea of a normal cat with a bad tude, but then I figured that Larxene will kill it, rather than keep it D:. Though if you're still unsure, then let's not have it. I was just asking, since I got that idea from a nekomata read I was doing. As for Diz, I think Raxton (?) began to speak to the group. I'll post as Naminé, though she doesn't have much to say. I was thinking on to make Xemnas think on that whole paragraph you put, but I decided to let him explain it to the Org., then to repeat himself in words again. I've been kind of procrastinating on my RPs with the book ^^:.
Ah, so he refused to dye his hair? I would've spiked his shampoo, that besh >.>. Thanks, Rep, for explaining the contradictions of the books. It is indeed, that they are from different points of view. Anyway, is exactly what I thought. As its own vampire horror flick, is fine. But the bad thing, as a book adaption...is that it isn't a book adaptation. I knew it must've been bad, considering how the fans commented (on a board, not YouTube. In YT, I have to keep reading things about how sexy and hot Lestat is most of the time cause of how they see the video and his face -_-. Though, it happens on the board too. Damn girls :D), they appeared like they wanted to rip it apart to shreds, disembowel it, snap it in half, stomp on it, burn it to ashes, and drown the remains down the toilet o.O. I just think it should've been put into more good hands. To me, from interviews, the creators seem like they wanted to do it their way, then actually give a damn about quality. Anne Rice did the script of IwtV (or so I've heard), and I can't believe any director would refuse the author of the book doing a script for them. For free. Imagine how many times better it would've been. Just the fact that they did that shows me they weren't looking to gear this to the fans. Luckily, I was early, so it didn't get butchered in my non-book eyes. I really have to stop looking for info, though, or reading things D:. I know I'm about to get major spoilified if I continue. I already know of Spoiler Magnus and what he did. And even how Claudia, has a presence in other books at points in time, either by her journal or ghost, that then went to kill Louis. Hell, I even know a little of Akasha and Enkil, and the red-haired twin sisters, Maharet and Mekare. I hate temptation T-T. But I stopped :P. Also, straying away from what NOT to do with book adaptations, Repliku, can I have...a-demon-kitty-that-has-nothing-to do-with-the-plot-unless-you-want-it-to-but-only-there-for-cuteness-factor-for-Larxene-to-have-in-Soul-Reason? *-*
All in all? Not really, unles you're curious. Is not epic. Though, since you're reading the book, or about to, is adviced to stay away. I liked it, but that was when I never knew Anne Rice existed. I probably woud've been pissed too, honestly. I mean, I got furious just because they cut and changed things in HP, even minor (which is where I learned to take movie versions of a book with a grain of salt). Imagine with QotD. I think I would have burned down the studio or led a mob, WB or not. You'll do better seeing the movie version of IwtV. Personally. the only good thing to watch there is Lestat (Stuart, who has that edge) and Aaliyah (who was good, yet she didn't have much to work with either). The Lestat in QotD is much more simpler, in the way that it doesn't show all sides of him, just particular ones, and if given more proper direction and a better script (by Anne Rice), he would've pulled it off more exceptionally, and not many things changed. He did what the director told him, who said good and evil are "too abstract", and even the creators went to say that their Lestat doesn't believe in good and evil. Which, by fans, is wrong. They complained alot about him eating the innocent groupies. It was a shame, too. The movie should've been placed in good hands, not morons. BTW, is there a thread of the Vampire Chronicles or something in the Literature section?
Lol xD. I think I started something. It might've been a disappointed to known fans, but AWAY from the books, and in a unbiased view, I found it entertaining and fun in the way of a...TV movie (xP), and I overall liked it for what it stood for. I had no idea any books existed at that time, and I was interested considering it had Aaliyah in it, and I watched it as a normal, off the mill vamp horror flick. It obviously would've been better if it wasn't based on Anne Rice's book in the title, because this is what happens in the above post ^^;. Either way, I like the person who played Lestat (I actually picture him except with blond hair and blue eyes, which I oddly fit together in my mind. This is physically speaking), and some of the music. I also heard that Marius was nothing like book Marius on YouTube comments (and he wasn't Lestat's maker either...I kind of spoiled myself in that one >.>, darn), so that's no surprise to me. And that there's no Loius, and other things. I'm not going to follow the movie into the books, obviously. I actually put it as apart from the books altogether, and see them totally different, and away from each other. I don't even count it as Queen Of The Damned (they really shouldn't have called it that), honestly. I'm only in book one, and already noted this was not to be taken so seriously. Just...a movie. Not to mention, putting two packed novels into one film is asking for...what happened. I really had no expectations at all. And it isn't really what I would call a epic film or anything, either. The direction was poor, and so was the script (big mistake on refusing Anne when she volunteered for free with the script. W.T.F?), and it seemed MTV, but I don't blame that on the actors. As I said, standing alone, is good and I like it. Is just not something I would put on the big screen. If you're talking BOOKWISE, well... Rant on. Is deserving. Honestly, I can't wait to read The Vampire Lestat in the real. I heard that out of the Chronicles, this is one of the highly proclaimed ones, and personal favorites =3. I just have to find a way to get it T-T. I screwed up my library thoroughly and with lack of responsibility, but, I'm just thinking of buying the books and have them forever.
I heard that the books are sometimes contradicting, only because they are told from different POVs of vampires. The next one is with Lestat, and he defends himself against what Loius's says or something at times >.>. I still find him loveable. You know, watching back on the movie on dear, illegal YouTube, more because is a guilty pleasure of mine for a certain character who is played by a very fitting sexy actor. HOLY LORD, that guy spouses mounts of sensuallity, especially as I rewatch scenes like when he corners Jesse and pricks her thumb, where she lets out something of a moan, and he just sucks- I need to stop *breathes*. Well, to be honest, I'm glad Tom Cruise wasn't chosen again. I really don't see him rocking with a microphone and singing like rock star Lestat *-* (or aesthetically appealing enough, truthfully. If it wasn't for his acting...). Going back, watching the movie *cough*, other than the fact that Stuart makes the perfect Lestat, gorgeous, feline grace, charm, sexy voice, sexy accent, sexy movements, arrogance, expressions...here I am again, going off. I wonder why they couldn't afford to buy some blond dye and contacts for the movie? Either way, the point of this was, that I like some of the music o.O. I specifically like the beginning song Forsaken and the first song he sings in the concert as he comes down, which is Slept So Long. Is too bad that I like Jonathan Davis's versions better, which are hard as hell to get, because due to contract issues, he couldn't sing them for the soundtrack, only the movie, and so other lead singers of bands had to on the CD. Boo. I also like that violin piece on the beach as well. I'm just thankful that I watched the movie before reading the books, so I enjoyed it in a unbiased and free way :P, and I liked it very much for its own, while different, deviation of the real story. I mean, I seriously thought it was dumb to mix The Vampire Lestat and Queen Of The Damned in a...1 to two hour or so movie? <.<; (no wonder they had to turn it around themselves) Yet, it stands alone. The tone, mood, and dark setting fits it so well too, so I feel kind of sad that it went so far from the books and disappointed its fans. That's my first and last complete rant of the movie, because from now on, it's the books xP.
D: Who want to kill ICSP? Leave it to him to make a nice present :3.
Repliku, seriously. A whole paragraph dedicated for a offhand comment that wasn't even that certain, just because Riku was in the subject? >.> I do think making Roxas appear more selfish than he actually is, is disagreeable, after all, if you can understand Riku, you can understand Roxas, and his own situation, on many aspects, and some that I have no doubt will be explored in 358/2 Days. I digress, though. It seems the question is answered that it was the Keyblade. Was it truly a translation error? I didn't know that...
D: I'm trying to find something that can cheer you up, or make you laugh for awhile, but I'm phailing horribly. I suck T_T.
Aww, Pyrɸ. I'm so sorry. Repliku is right though, you did the best you could. Is hard losing a pet, I've experienced it so many times, and it is the most horrible thing, because you form a bond and love them as much as you would love a human. It's sad T-T. I hate it. At least it died from a natural cause, so it just...happened, we all have to die at some point. Poor parakeet. Just hang on, there, girl. I empathize. *hugs again* Hey, Pika. Glad you're enjoying the book :P.
OOC: OH shoot! I thought we got a new member or something xD. DeadlyxMascara. By the way, RA, are you going to post in Soul Reason with Zexion? Been meaning to ask...
BLESS THE LORD! 8D *happy mood dies* .... Spoiler Not pets TT^TT. OMG, I can't believe you have to suffer through that. Is a horrible feeling. Awww, Pyrɸ...*huggles tight and sniffs*. I hate it. I'm a animal lover, and hate hearing about their deaths. What kind of animal was it and why? T-T
OOC: I'm not putting down the idea, I'm just saying it doesn't matter the affects, since is AU. More so with what you are putting. And we don't know what the Ambers or Unbirths are yet. And considering they apparently don't exist ten years after where the Organization takes place, why mess with it? The Heartless Rivals also goes against the fact that Xehanort and Sora were the only ones who ever managed to regain their senses as Heartless, not to mention Xehanort being the only one to retain human form. Which also gets in the way of KH's plot. It's either you go with or against canon :/. And in the end, is best to pass down the final ideas to everyone to get opinions, since some might like it, and some might not. Well...at least I think so >.>, since people don't join RPs that they aren't fond of in plot. If it isn't anyone's cup of tea here, they'll be mostly half-dragged. I'm willing to give Nymph the benefit of the doubt. It wasn't a year, she was here back in June the 26, so is only three months or so. Either way, is stil fair to ask her if she doesn't mind her characters let go, if she does one day come back and find this. If she's not coming back, there isn't a problem then, or if she doesn't reply, well...I can say that I tried to contact her, and she at least knew, so that means she does not mind.
I don't know whether to hate Louis. That's all I'll say outside here. Spoiler Lestat only got disfigured temporarily, right? T-T I had to stop reading to weep. Pika, you can't have the Pikachu since the time is set in modern, er, realistic time, with TV, with Pokémon considered a show. You can have Demyx, though *reserves*.
*feels ignored by Pyrɸ* D: Yeah, I can do it too >.<. Anyway, I'm heading off to bed, guys. Night!
