BRANDON HARRISON: ///Day 26 (4/4)\\\///Thursday October 17th 2013\\\///Location: Hotel\\\///Mood: Sleepy Time\\\ Brandon had been thoroughly alright with how things had gone today. He had successfully informed on what the hell was actually going on now a days and was actually probably able to hold onto his goal even more now. No longer was it just getting angel powers because they were cool, no now it was because he had to help save the world. Being cool was just a little bit of a side thing. Once the gang had decided on what they were going to do they left the restaurant and found there way to a good old hotel. It was quite the nice place, probably not as nice as the Norway one, or maybe more nice...he didn't really know, but it was nice regardless. Once there he got the keys to his room and was about to go when Lion said something very odd to him. ⎧Don't be idiotic.⎭ Brandon was confused a bit by this. When had he been idiotic to warrant such a comment? It was mystery to the young boy. Regardless he said goodnight to the grumpy man and the three females of the gang, and went off to his room. He didn't quite know how to spend his night, it's like it had been particularly stressful so he bounced his tennis ball off the wall before it got boring. Really one could only bounce around a ball for so long. With that done, he went off to bed and slept the night away.
Richard was going along with this man's stupid fist fighting thing like he said. He had found his weakness in only ever really wanting to fence, and seeing as Richard did seem to be able to go that much harder than a normal person could, and he didn't have perfect control over that mist fire yet so that would seem really strange if that suddenly popped out in the midst of a bout. So Richard was really left no other alternative at the moment. Granted it wasn't like it was all bad. If there was thing good to be had from fist fighting with this man it was that it gave him more opportunities to pummel the cocky asshat to the ground. Or at least it would've been if the man wasn't so unreasonably strong and for some unknown reason giving him tips that seemed to be helpful. Things like correcting his stance, correcting his punches to make them proper, correcting just about everything he did wrong. The entire time during the fight a mix of mist and steam could be seen coming from Richard's body. Mist from him passively using his powers and steam coming from his oddly heated body. It wasn't a mystery that his body would start to feel really hot after the workout he had been doing, but to be steaming seemed a bit odd. Nevertheless the fighting continued and Richard kept going strong. While fire did sporadically appear on his fists, it was never consistent enough for him to be saying he could make complete proper use of it, and furthermore it was just really draining right now. When Richard had finally ran out of water bottles to drink through and was clearly taking the toll from using all his newfound power against the man, the man finally called it off. Richard was rather indifferent to the end of their little brawl and just decided to go home, albeit his body wasn't holding up that well from the intensity of his new found training partner, but home he did make it. After eating two frozen dinners and drinking two more water bottles Richard was finally able to crash and passed out on his couch again.
Evan Allen Walker: {~~~Day 10 (4/4)~~~December 30th, 2015, Thursday~~~Location: Park~~~Mood: People?~~~Music~~~Ooc:~~~} Things weren't going too swell at the park. Not at all to Evan's liking in the slightest. These people were not making enough effort to be happy or peppy and instead were just wallowing in the past of things. No matter how hard he tried Evan just couldn't empathize with why these people were so sad. He knew most people thought it was an awful way of thinking or not acceptable, but hey people died. That's the past and they just gotta move on with the future. Sure he'd wish he could see Bry, Sophiera, and the butler man all again but the fact remained that he couldn't. Evan just sort of watched alongside Cherry Red as things went sour fast between Ria and Torv. They did their usual bickering, only this was more bitter than their usual type. In the end Ria left in a huff and Torv left in a daze. He didn't seem to be handling anything too well right now, and looked like he was kind of bummed out about more than just the deaths. Regardless Ria was doing something stupid right now. The girl who had received injuries to her face, probably from some mugger or something, decided that walking away in a depressed huff by herself was the smartest thing to do. Evan knew that Torv would be fine, he usually was one to bounce out of these sort of ruts and even if he couldn't he'd be able to talk to him later.Cherry Red was most likely lovestruck by Freya due to her little tampering and it was a wonder he was even here. Though he figured Freya most likely had plans figured out for the two of them tonight and also assumed that Cherry Red would drop everything, even helping out one of his closer friends, to go and see her. That's just the kind of thing he figured Cupid's Brew was. As if to further cement his point Tucker got up after texting something looking like he was ready to go. "I think I'm going to go too. Sorry for, um, anything. Let's hang out soon though. See you." "Nah nah, it's cool man. I will totally get those rollerblades for you later though. Or your birthday...whichever comes first. Anyway, say hi to the young vixen for me."With that Evan left the park. Picking up his pace and walking, though not running as to make as little noise as possible, he eventually caught up to Ria and said "ya gotta understand that man's heart and mouth just aren't on the same page. But I'm not here to tell you about him, I'm here for one simple reason. To protect the fair lady from any and all of the monsters that may come her way. For that is what a knight in white does." At the word white he had pointed to his hair and gave a goofy smile of his. He had no idea how she would react to him and his gesture. In fact he was half expecting her to blow him off. But hey, assisting those that need help was also a knight's duty.
9 PM EST...hopefully my internet doesn't **** on me this time
Sol had been there to finish up the last of that crowd of monsters that had assaulted them. He was rather happy with the way things turned out. There was a lot of killing that had been had, especially considering he fought at least half of them by himself. He probably would've taken on all of them but that stupid archer butted in with her pansy ass arrows. Worse yet a mage had joined their party. Sol hated archers because of their need to fight from a range with their stupid bows, but he hated mages that much more because of their tendency to fight from the back lines, do massive damage to a group of things in a single attack and act like they're sooooo superior because of it. Like where even is the fun in a kill like that and not to mention most mages are basically useless in a fight once they can't cast any spells. All hate for mages and archers aside, once the battle was done Sol returned to the group's leader to receive further instructions on where to go so he could kill more shit. After listening to the brief description of what they're current objective in the mission was Sol said, "alright then, let's go find this Ruin Maniac." He was only enthusiastic about it because he heard that there would be more monsters there. If not for that he would probably have mellowed out and become utterly bored in mere moments after the last fight. Walking around he decided to check a ruined building just sitting there and busted in. "Yo, Lady? You in here?" Sol was rather blunt and simple minded when it came to investigations. Though his yelling and racket apparently stirred a few diltoads out from hiding. There were six of them and they all seemed ready to pounce at Sol like he was their lunch. A smile grew wider on his face as the monsters attempted to fight him. He kicked the first one trying to tackle him into another one and the two ended up killing each other through just tackling each other. The rest all tried to circle around him, but Sol just did a fancy spin attack and ended up killing the other four with relative ease. With that out of the way he decided to check one more time before leaving. "So yeah you in here?" It was not a thorough check...
BRANDON HARRISON: ///Day 26 (3/4)\\\///Thursday October 17th 2013\\\///Location: Hospital\\\///Mood: So that's what we're supposed to be doing\\\ Brandon went along with the entire gang to a local restaurant to finally know what was going on. So apparently they were all being gathered up by this redhead Hannah so that they could all regain their powers and help her stop the coming of Lucifer who was going to end the world or do some Lucifer thing, he didn't really know. Also they were apparently on a plane crash that happened on the way to London which he had no idea about and were saved by some angel whose name he wasn't remembering right now and Gabriella then punished him. Well that sounded like it sucked to see. There were also two angels they had to be wary of because they were working with good old Lucie, and they were Daniel and Tempy. Finally he was able to learn the name of the other two with Hannah. They were Hay Sun,(which everytime Brandon thought of it, it sounded like "hey son," which just felt odd to him so she was to be nicknamed Soleil,) and Cassandra, (nicknamed to be Cas.) Also turns out the man he was with apparently went by three names, Lion being the most easy one to go by (because that nickname won't get confusing with any other characters at all,) and he was apparently going to join their mission. Well at least that's what Brandon thought what was going to happen, in which case Mission Accomplished. However Lion and Soleil didn't seem to be on the best of terms. They seemed to be brother and sister, (lucky siblings,) but regardless the brother looked pretty uncaring for his sister. Also every time he said something to her Brandon was only getting more and more confused. Eventually he tried to intervene and say, "alright alright. So now that we're all here and accounted for, we got our angel weapons of awesomeness and everyone is, for the most part, safe what do we do now? Should we just like go back to Norway and try and meet up with people there or like rendezvous with them in London or something, or just wait?" Brandon tried to throw out some suggestions just so he could quickly divert the topic of the sibling bickering and they could move on to more Angel based Shenanigans.
BRANDON HARRISON: ///Day 26 (3/4)\\\///Thursday October 17th 2013\\\///Location: Hospital\\\///Mood: Frens\\\ Brandon had ended up stowing away on Raphael's jet the entire trip from Norway all the way to Rome. He had felt rather proud of himself for not being spotted the entire way. He was feeling like some super stealthy lightning badass...which granted sounded pretty contradictory, but that was besides the point. He had managed to do his first successful stowaway...Brandon was starting to wonder if this journey was such a good thing since all he had done so far was, loot, illegally stay in motel rooms, kill people, and stowaway on planes...nah this was totally the best time/thing ever in the young boy's life. Once the plane landed Raphael walked out and Brandon was getting ready to time when to follow when suddenly ⎧If you're going to tag along, then don't lag behind. I will leave you here.⎭ Welp, turns out Brandon had been found out from the very start. It wasn't really coming as too big of a shock to Brandon so he earnestly ran out of the plan and went to follow Raphael through the streets of Roma. They eventually stopped at a fountain for a moment and Brandon just soaked in all the stuff around him. Despite living in Europe for his whole life, he had never actually gone to Italy yet, and was quite impressed by the scenery around him. He then heard Raphael's curt voice speak up again. ⎧Why did you come along anyway? This isn't some recruiting mission. You're mistaken if you think I'm anything like Xathanael.⎭ Brandon stood there for a moment absorbing that question in and forming an answer. "Well it's obvious isn't it? Us angels gotta stick together or else we'll never be able to..um. Do whatever it is the fuck we were supposed to do in the first place." Clearly not caring about Brandon's clearly stupid answer the unlikely pair ended up walking and taking a cab all the way to a hospital. At that point Brandon saw a couple of familiar faces. ❝Jun Tae. Brandon?❞ "Hello Hannah." Brandon had said with a jubilant smile on his face. Wait the guys name was Juntay? Brandon thought his name was Raphael. Unless one of the two was his angel name, but which one? They both sounded like weird out there names. He watched as Juntay/Raphael called one of the people, the one in the wheelchair, Youriel. Though he wasn't sure what name that was either. This whole name thing was really confusing him. Not to mention there was still one of the three that he didn't her name at all. But that would come later. Then he saw Juntay/Raphael give Hannah her blade back to her, which legitimately confused Brandon because he was pretty sure he had the blade in his back pack the entire time. Oh well. He took out the other blade/wand from the backpack and the one in his pocket and said, "oh yeah, um here's your blade thingys. Thought it'd be a good idea to bring them along and I'm just going to assume that they belong to the both of you." Brandon handed off the two blades to whom he believed to be their respective owners, and felt completely proud of himself. He listened to Juntay/Raphael explain why Brandon was here in the first place and all he could do was smile and nod. With that out of the way he waited for the explanation to be given by Hannah so that he could finally be caught up on things.
Richard woke up on the concrete of the warehouse floor feeling better, yet still tired from what had just happened. He stood up trying to recollect himself as to what actually happened. He remembered trying to go all against his asshat of an opponent, where the last few rounds between them all sort of just blurred. Trying to think about it he knew that he had lost. And hadn't scored a single touch off on his opponent. Really this was just no good at all. He looked down at the destroyed mess that was the hilt and guard of his saber. He wondered what happened to the blade, not remembering that it had been completely on fire before. He reached over to his water bottle and completely finished it, then grabbed his towel and wiped all the sweat off of himself. How long had he been out for exactly? "About three hours or so." The familiar voice said. Richard looked around and saw nothing. Looking back to where he was originally was looking, the mystery man was directly in front of him. With a smirk on his face he simply said, "good afternoon Prince Carver." Richard was not amused by this man's disappearing and reappearing acts that he constantly did. Not to mention that whole Prince Carver bull wasn't making him feel any better. "Alright, well I think I'm going to go home, think i'll catch some sleep there, maybe eat the equivalent of a horse there." Richard started walking away but the mystery man just sort of laughed a bit. "What's so funny?" Richard was audibly annoyed with this man. "It's funny that you think I'm just letting you leave right now," he said matter of factly. "You see you're going to stay here and do some good old fashion street fighting, fisticuffs and all, against me for a good deal of the day." Richard didn't really care about this little fist fight proposition and blew it off like it was nothing. He didn't quite care for this man anymore now that they were done fencing and was just going to go on his merry way. "Sorry, but I'm not interest in your little fist fight thing. I only fence." The man started laughing a bit and said, "yup and that's your major weakness right now. All you can do is fence. Without that saber in your hand you probably wouldn't do so well against someone who knew how to fight. So that's why I want to get you on that. Not to mention I know you Richard. You're not a very active individual. In fact you are quite the lazy an apathetic man. I mean for crying out loud you've completely stopped caring about multiple plane crashes, earthquakes that destroy large cities and a mother fucking zombie invasion. Who the hell doesn't give a shit about that?!" Realizing he was going a bit off topic he backpedaled a bit, "anyway, point I'm trying to make here is that you do care about fencing, above everything else. Now as things stand you should realize that I'm the only one you'll ever be able to fence for the rest of your life." Richard seemed a bit annoyed by this statement and was glaring straight at his mystery man. "And why would that be?" The man sighed, bringing his palm to his face saying "well clearly you've been getting stronger. Like that saber, you destroyed it solely by holding onto it as tight as you could. With strength like that, any regular person you fence, will more likely than not die from getting hit by you. And if they don't you'll have broken their gear and seriously injured them regardless. So for now, unless you've suddenly given up on fencing, you're going to do my little extracurricular activities if you want to fence me each day. So what do you say?" Richard was clearly cornered by this man and as much as he wanted to brush off what he just said, he knew he couldn't. Richard tried to think of a solution, but getting weaker seemed to be the only one he could think of. Not to mention if there was one person he wanted to fence now, it would be this man, solely so he could wipe that cocky ass grin off his face. Clenching his fists together he glared at his mystery opponent and said, "alright then. Let's go." And the two started going in a major fist fight, all the while the mystery man was oddly giving him very odd instructions and suggestions on how to improve himself. Why was he doing that?
BRANDON HARRISON: ///Day 26 (2/4)\\\///Thursday October 17th 2013\\\///Location: I'M ON A PLANE\\\///Mood: Sneaky\\\ Brandon was just sort of standing there, being thoroughly ignored by both his Compadre and the Stranger dude who's name was Raphael or something like that. Didn't really matter either way. Point was the stranger dude was really rude and completely ignored the young man's presence. He was just about to leave when Jo actually recognized his existence. She seemed extremely nervous or some shit. Really out of character he thought. Not to mention she was talking to herself. Also totally out of character. "What oh um, yeah I was just here wondering what everyone was doing an all but um, yeah I think I've got a, well something. See ya around." Brandon ended up leaving the room with a "brilliant" plan in mind. He wasn't entirely sure what was up with this guy but from the conversation he seemed to know exactly who they were. Which could only mean one thing. Raphael was also an angel man with some badass power or something like that. And he seemed to be off in a huff and a hurry. Well if there whole purpose here was to go and find and recruit angel people then letting one leave was totally going opposite of this plan, right? As such Brandon walked off to his room and put down his tennis racket for a second. He found a piece of paper that and a pen in the room and wrote down a quick note saying: ---------- Hey Guys, Brandon here just telling you that I haven't been kidnapped or some shit like that. No instead I actually decided to go and follow that angel dude Jo and Compadre were talking to earlier. Don't worry though, I'll stay in touch as best I can with you guys. -Lightning Angel Badass Brandon ---------- With that out of the way Brandon stuck the note on the outside of the door to his room, grabbed the backpack, grabbed his tennis racket and pocketed his tennis ball and ran after his asian angel associate. As such he eventually exited the hotel and continued to follow the man until he entered a jet. Jeez what was with all these angels they were meeting and owning jets? Regardless he followed in after the man snuck aboard the private jet, going full stealth mode so that hopefully he wouldn't be caught by this guy until after they landed.
Evan Allen Walker: {~~~Day 10 (2/4)~~~December 30th, 2015, Thursday~~~Location: Evan's House~~~Mood: People!~~~Music~~~Ooc:~~~} Evan was walking along with Ria strait to the park. She wasn't exactly holding up too well throughout the whole thing, and Evan wasn't entirely sure what to tell her. Generally when people grieved they had other people to confide all their feelings into and they would usually work it out together. This time Evan was given the duty of emotional confidant and he wasn't entirely sure what to do. While he was trying to think of what to do she started clinging to his arm. This wasn't the greatest scenario since Evan wasn't too good in not fun time scenarios. But he managed to walk to the park without Ria breaking down so that was a win, right? Okay she was still crying so probably not. This was going to go horribly if he couldn't think of something soon. That was until the familiar voice of a proactive proletarian. He seemed rather shocked that Ria was with him. That was weird. Didn't Torv know that he and Ria were good friends? Evan was completely unaware of the animosity between Torv and Ria even as Ria did her not taking any of this shit attitude kind of attitude to him. He thought that they were actually like super great friends and just had this really theatrical relationship in which they acted like they hated each other. He smiled and waved to his communist friend when he noticed that the familiar Cherry Red entered the scene. He didn't really have any idea that Cherry Red was even coming here in the first place. This just felt a bit awkward really. But hey the more merrier at any rate. And Evan was all about merriment. Evan walked over to Torv while Ria was busy embracing Cherry Red, he waved a hello to him and decided to ask Torv his own question."We're here to uh, get a little fresh air an all. So what brings you to this side of Candlewood Torv?"
BOUT 2: Round 15START Round fifteen of the second bout between the mystery man and Richard Carver had finally dawned upon these two. The score was fourteen zero in favor of the mystery man. Richard knew this all too well and was completely, one-hundred percent mentally prepared for what was to come up next. With his resolve firm the mist around Richard had ended up covering his entire body as like some sort of passive coat of mist. The mist coming from his eyes was more apparent than before, though Richard hadn't noticed at all. Furthermore faint silhouettes of wings were being formed on his back from this mist. One final thing that was happening was the mist around his blade started condensing. Becoming more refined looking to the point where it didn't look like mist anymore. In fact, it had become something completely different. A white fire enveloped Richard's saber as he took what could be his final en garde stance for the bout. The man reappeared in front of Richard, completely ready to win this match. Mist started forming around him in a similar fashion and he took his own en garde stance. The fight started off with Richard and the man going straight for each other in the center. Both of them, however, stepped back to avoid a lunge that never came. As such they both advanced again only for Richard to step back a second time avoiding the man's blade altogether. This prompted Richard to go in and take a riposte, which the man skillfully back stepped away from. However this time when the man advanced towards Richard, Richard beat his blade away and went straight in for an attack. However this was parried away by the man who went in for his own riposte. Richard back stepped this time avoiding the riposte altogether. The man started going backwards and Richard attempted to close the distance between them. Once the gap between them was small enough he feinted right, then feinted left, then went in for one final lunge against his opponent back stepped away and stopped, about to do his own riposte, when suddenly Richard went for a double lunge, the man parried the blade away but Richard continued staying aggressive. The man finally back stepped away from this hyper aggression and was just about done with the match. He finally went back in for one final lunge the match off, and Richard knew that where he was there was no avoiding it. As such he got ready to do the only thing he could to keep himself still in this situation. The man had finally gotten right in his face, blade nearly connecting, when suddenly a crunch sound could be heard. The handle of his blade was crushed by the strength of his grip. Richard's blade ended up meeting the man's head on with full force; Richard had finally been able to parry his opponents lunge away from him. All he needed was a riposte and from this position there was nothing the man could do. Only despite slamming his opponents blade full force, it didn't move at all. Instead it just sort of kept going unimpeded by the parry. In the end Richard was stabbed through by the man who vanished in his usual plume. He had won the bout fifteen zero and Richard couldn't do a thing to stop him. The mist around Richard dissipated and he fell the to the floor. His blade was revealed to be completely gone once the fire had put itself out and Richard just lied there. Completely drained and exhausted from the bout he lost consciousness before even touching the ground.
BOUT 2: Round 14START Richard was starting to pant a bit from the exhaustion he was feeling but continued to get into en garde position anyway. He was getting closer. He knew it. Just a little more further and he would be able to kick this guy's ass no problem. The mist started getting even thicker and denser on Richard and his blade. His will was the only thing keeping him conscious right now and he wasn't going to let anything stop him from finishing the bout. Win or lose he was still getting closer to his goal, and all he needed to do was make sure that he got to it. The man reappeared still having his own mist covering him. This time Richard saw the smirk on the man's face and knew he was going to enjoy finally wiping it off his face. The man got into en garde and round fourteen was getting underway. They both bounded off the line right at each other, though this time Richard back stepped to avoid the attack from the mystery man coming right at him. The mystery man then went for his own double lunge coming straight at Richard, who continued retreating as fast as he could away from his opponent. This caused the man to miss again. This time Richard went in for a riposte which was met with a parry from his oppositions side. However Richard came into to do his own counter parry and knocked the blade away once more. With that out of the way Richard came in for one final riposte to get a touch off on this man, only the man used his acceleration skills to suddenly back away from the riposte causing the attack to fail. This in turn made the man come back in and do a riposte of his own to end the round. Richard stood there as the man had disappeared once more. He only had one shot left to achieve his goal. Next bout was going to be the last one he did. If he didn't then the score would be fifteen zero. He knew that he had to do everything in his power to stop that from happening. No doubts now, just one final round to get things done.
BOUT 2: Round 13STARTRichard was now deathly serious and the mist coming off of him was way stronger than before. The mist upon his blade was starting to get thicker than ever before and the mist coming off of him was more apparent than it had been before. Richard was ready to take down this man down with every last ounce of his being. He got into his en garde stance and waited for the man to come back into existence before beginning the next round. Richard got ready in his en garde stance ready to win rather easily against this asshat. The man seemed to be ready to take him on as well getting into his own en garde stance with a bit of a smirk on his face. The two bounded off the line and went straight for each other. Blades colliding in the center Richard suddenly had his mist exploded in quantity and started trying to force the man's blade away from him. The man with a slightly more serious face on started creating his own mist around his blade, but still not looking like he was putting any real arm strength into it. Eventually the man backed off and beat Richard's blade away. Richard was not having any of that though and brought his blade back to beat the man's away. With that Richard went straight for an attack on the man's head. Unfortunately the man saw this coming and was able to parry the blade with ease. With the blade no longer in going in for an attack Richard tried to retreat backwards as fast as possible. However the mystery man had already closed the distance between him and Richard and was about to attack. Richard tried parrying but the man ended up coming for an attack from a completely unorthodox angle that, if he wasn't inhumanly fast, than would've been easy to counter. However because the man was that fast it ended up avoiding Richard's blade altogether. Thus ending round thirteen.
BOUT 2: Round 12STARTRichard heard the man's condescending voice telling him to just give up. It was clear to the man, just as much as Richard that he was running on empty right now. So was there any real point in doing this anymore? There didn't seem to be a reason. But of course. "Don't give me that shit." Richard looked back at the man, with a determined look in his eyes. Something started to happen to Richard. His mist started forming on his blade once more. Not to mention now it seemed to be coming off of his body and a little mist trail coming from his eyes. "Like hell I'd give up now." Richard was deathly serious now, and the man simply did his whole disappear reappear trick he had done so many times before. It was time for round twelve to get underway. Richard exploded off the line, going faster than he probably knew he could Richard was all up on the man before him. The man didn't move this time, but he did have his stance ready. He retreated away from Richard's lunge and was about to go in when he noticed Richard going in for a double lunge. With seemingly inhuman acceleration skills the man immediately stopped going forward and immediately picked it back up going backwards almost going full speed. He ended up dodging Richard's blade easily but was ready to be a bit serious in this round. As such as soon as Richard stopped his attack and started retreating the man picked up his forward acceleration nearly impossibly forward following it up with a lunge. Richard seeing the attack coming this time and being slightly able to get the speed down brought his blade in to block against the attack. This time the blade ended up making more than slight contact. It was nearly a parry but wasn't quite complete enough to stop the blade. And as such the blade was able to go in through Richard and the man disappeared. However unlike this time, the real match was just getting started.
BOUT 2: Round 11START Round 11 was about to get underway as soon as the mystery reappeared. Richard still wasn't entirely sure what to do at this point. The mist had left his blade and he was feeling extremely tired. Even if he were to reach his goal and the bout were to end with the mystery man's victory that would still be another five rounds. Richard wasn't even entirely sure he could move for this round. Nevertheless he still had to persist and not give up at all. Once the man had reappeared, now with a disappointed look on his face Richard was off to go and finish this up. Richard went off the line, slower than last time, and tried to get go in for a fast attack. The man, having no form whatsoever, just stood there, totally apathetic to whatever Richard was going to do. To further cement this complete disregard for his opponent's struggle, the mystery man just closed his eyes and started parrying all the attacks that came at him with relative ease. Richard was getting slower with each attack and wasn't even retreating anymore. His resolve to get the touch off on his opponent was the only thing keeping him going but even that was beginning to waver with how awfully that he was doing. The man parried around five more attacks before he finally had enough of this pathetic display. He parried the blade away from himself and did an extremely overexaggerated attack towards Richard. With his eyes still closed he brought the blade down on Richard before he could even react to it at all. The blade passed through Richard and his grip on his blade started loosening. He wasn't entirely sure what to do at this point. He was getting weaker with each passing round. Even his little trump card of the white fire mist wasn't helping him at all and was now completely gone. Not to mention the man could do that same trick in a better way than Richard could and had accomplished in the past. He was starting to give up when suddenly the mystery man spoke. "Honestly I'm disappointed. If this is all you've got then there's no point pushing yourself anymore. You know you can't win, I can see that look of defeat in your eyes. So how about we end it now?"
BOUT 2: Round 10START Round ten took a little bit of a pause before Richard was ready to get into it. He walked over to his water bottle and took a drink from it. Pulling out a towel from his bag that he had brought he wiped off his sweat in his face. It wasn't helping that the sweat had started been pouring all over the place and Richard needed to get it off of him so it wouldn't get in his eyes. After downing about half of the water left he threw it back and walked back to the center of the warehouse waiting for his mystery man to appear. When he did round ten went under way. This round ended up being a pathetic round for Richard though. He wasn't entirely feeling all that well right now and as such he was rather sluggish coming off the line. The mystery man sighed, noticing in the change of pace by Richard didn't even move from his spot. Not to mention the mist on Richard's blade had nearly all but dissipated. He sluggishly went toward his opponent and attacked, missing due to the mystery man backing away. Casually giving up the attack, the mystery man didn't move from his spot at all. He just stood there, giving up all form, as Richard sluggishly came back into the fight he attacked left but was easily parried. Richard kept trying to go in for more attacks, not even bothering to retreat at all. The man sighed, tired of this pathetic display and simply exploded in mist fire. As if just to show off how effortlessly he could do this, he parried away Richard's blade extremely hard so that Richard's body was forced to move from the sheer impact of it. Ending it right there the mystery man cut through Richard and ended the fight right then and there. Richard just stood there panting, feeling awful after that. He knew that it was going to be an awful time trying doing this but he probably underestimated it. Kicking himself a bit he knew he needed to do better than that to win here.
BOUT 2: Round 9START It was time for the next round between these two and Richard was definitely not feeling well. Despite the lower mist output on his blade he was still feeling exhausted. He was sweating bullets at this point and even if the mystery man were to get a perfect score once more that would still be six more bouts after this one. He knew he couldn't give up though. That would only make this man more insufferable to deal with and probably make Richard feel like shit. He was rarely serious about anything, but fencing was one thing he couldn't ever not put his best effort into. Anytime he didn't he just felt awful afterwards. He took his en garde stance waiting for the man to reappear, and when he did, it was time for round nine to get started. The two of them went into the center both going for an attack and both locking blades once more. Richard knew he didn't have the strenght to win in this confrontation and so as such he tried to maneuver his blade out of there without giving his opponent the opportunity to attack him back. However the man didn't really seem to be putting any effort into this little blade lock scenario. Instead he just sort of backed up a bit and swung his blade around to miss. It was as if he kept wanting to draw out these matches out as long as possible. But for what purpose? (because posting an actual saber round would be like one paragraph) Richard took this opportunity to go in and take him down. He circled his blade around and went to lunge straight at his opponent. His opponent decided that the match was over now and just back stepped a bit. This caused Richard to miss, and knowing the attack was going to fail regardless he tried to go in for a double lunge to get as good of a shot as any of getting the touch. However the man simply continued backing off until it was clear that Richard had completely missed. With the second lunge missing the man closed in and slashed through Richard, disappearing and ending round nine.
BOUT 2: 8th PeriodSTART Round eight was fast approaching and Richard was still not feeling any less tired. He knew that this mist was going to help him out a lot in the coming rounds against this guy, but he had severely misjudged how draining it was to keep it up. The layer of mist thinned out a bit as if to help Richard conserve energy while using it. At least he wasn't practically dead in the water right now like he was the first time he had used it. Perhaps practice did make perfect when it came to this weird supernatural thing he had going on. Regardless he had a fight to...get one fifteenth of the way to winning. Really when thinking of it like that it was quite the sad goal, but baby steps were to be made when going after a much larger goal. Which would be beating this cocky asshat of a fencer. The reappeared exerting that same mist on his blade at a much higher quantity and maybe even quality than anything Richard had been able to do up to this point. Almost as if he was showing off. The two took their en garde stances and were ready to go for the eighth round. Richard made the first move going as fast as he could and went straight at his opponent. He feinted left, then feinted right, then went for the head. The man didn't react to the feints at all and just blocked the attack like it was nothing at all. He pushed the blade away and was ready to go in for his own, half hearted attack. Going right he stopped mid swing, causing Richard to have to react to that. Richard was ready for it to come from another direction but the blade was just stopped, not moving at all. Richard parried the blade away rather easily and was ready to go in for a finishing attack. The mystery man simply parried Richard's blade away and yawned a bit. He was really bored with this whole exchange between them and seemed ready to finish up round eight as well. He looked like he was going right , but then came in left, then switched up to top and then finished right. During this whole thing Richard wasn't entirely sure how to react to this situation. He started with a parry left, assuming the right attack was a feint, and then went to parry up top to block against the oncoming attack. The going back to his right side was something totally unexpected and as such he ended up getting slashed through the torso once more. The mystery man sighed and disappeared once more, having ended round 8.
BOUT 2: 7th Inning StretchSTART Richard twirled the blade around a bit before going into round eight of this little confrontation. The mystery man reappeared, as he usually did, with his bored looking stared. Richard was honestly not sure how he was going to get a hit off on his opponent at the way things were going. He was faster than him, clearly much stronger, and had insane reflexes. Anything and everything that Richard had done so far had been countered like it was nothing. And they were already at the halfway point of their second bout. So did he just lose hope and give up there? Of course he didn't (because then I'd be done after this) instead he got back into his en garde stance and got his mist covered blade ready to go. With his opponent opting to go back into his own en garde stance the both of them were ready for this round. The both of them blew off the line at their own speeds and were going to meet at the center at this rate. Richard, expecting his opponent to expect him to back off as he had in past rounds, continued on his advance before lunging. The mystery man, however, didn't exactly care about this attack. In fact it was like he was anticipating it. The man simply stopped and backed away causing Richard to miss his strike. Richard quickly pulled back, noticing the attack failed, and retreated as fast a possible causing the man to miss his half hearted riposte. Richard went back in for another attack only for his blade to be casually beat to the side. Richard started his retreat but the mystery man was at the end of his patience for this round. He started his advances and then when the distance was closed between them he went for his attack. Richard, seeing this coming, brought the blade to parry the opponents. Whereas other times he couldn't even come close this time, this time his saber lightly tapped against the other man's. Not caring about it at all the man finished his attack and disappeared once the attack connected.
BOUT 2: 6th QuarterSTART With their little exchange done Richard backed away a bit and the mystery man teleported away in his usual plume. The man yawned a bit, almost mockingly at Richard. He pointed his mist covered blade at Richard and didn't really bother getting into an en garde stance. Richard, true to form, still got into his. The mist on his blade started to thin out a bit, so as not to tire Richard completely out before they even got to the tenth round. Staring down his opponent he got ready and the two glared at each other before going upon their usual exchange of blows. Richard blew off the line faster than he knew he could and went straight for the man's left side. Slightly bored he parried the blade away from him and brought his blade over his head, like he was going to chop down on his skull or something. Knowing that was one of the stupidest things to do in fencing Richard was kind of confused by this. However he brought his blade over his head to parry his opponents blade away. Even though under any circumstance this parry should've worked without any sort of flaw at all he still felt extremely pressured when the blade came down. Trying to use all the force in his that he could eventually deflected the blade away from him and got ready to go in for a riposte. However the mystery man just sort of beat the blade away with relative ease and did another over exaggerated movement to the left. Richard was not having any of this and went for another parry. This time the blade stopped abruptly before even connecting with Richard's. The man brought the blade back in front of him while Richard tried to go in for another riposte. The mystery man went in for another attack while Richard was going in for his. However the mystery man moved his blade so that in mid attack it was able to knock Richard's blade away from him. In the end the mystery man stabbed Richard through. With nary a bit of pain felt Richard felt the urge to attack the man, but instead held it back. He knew nothing good could come of it and he wanted his first hit to be a legitimate one. With a smirk, as if reading his mind, the man disappeared. Richard sighed and went over to take a drink of water. He wasn't feeling the greatest right now and needed something to drink. With a fourth of his first water bottle down, Richard threw it back and got read for the next round.
