Since it's Lionsgate, I hope the dialogue and logic of it all will be made more epic in a film. Like, I know it's power rangers and things are meant to be silly, action packed and filled with background explosions, but I'd like it to have more serious feel. Not too serious of course, but somewhere along the lines of the writing from the "In Space" saga. A good villain, moving scenes, and I'm truly hoping for a Bulk and Skull cameo just because.
Saw the film yesterday and my opinion on it was more or less all of what Hayabusa claimed. This film was a good setup for the third, but I didn't really see much beyond it. I wasn't too fond of the concept for Electro's appearance at first as I was hoping it would look something more like the spectacular show's version. But as I watched, I adjusted and liked the way he moved and battled against Spider-man. @burnitup I know there's only two central villains, but I just felt it was unnecessary. The Green Goblin just felt crammed in there and we only got to see him in the final quarter of the film and Rhino I think should have only been mentioned as something to look forward to in the next film. They put all three villains on center stage in posters and trailers, but in actuality, only Electro is the primary focus. (Even though his character as Max Dillon just constantly made me think of Jim Carrey's Edward Nigma in Batman Forever) I love the spider-man villains, so I like them to be more developed and be given time to understand why the villains turn. I think they should take the Marvel route with the actual marvel franchise and create numerous films, each devoted to a certain aspect of the character's journey. And so far, that does seem like what Marc Webb has been doing. Following the comics, in where George Stacy dies first, followed by Gwen. Peter's closure with his parents was also a nice touch. Thing that bothered me the most, was in fact the run time. Just so many things that could have been left out or revised. I don't need to know what all of New York is doing when the power is out, or the opening scene with his parents, or some of the scenes inside Oscorp. I dunno, the film just didn't flow well with me. Entire rhythm of the film just felt kind of choppy. Not bad, just not what I would have liked.

Replenished by Bambi, Krowley held out his keyblade to cast a new spell. With the small fawn refilling his MP, he could freely cast spells until the summon dispersed. With any luck, he could spam in some fire spells until he was ready to perform his limit attack. He could also use the extra spell power for a few Aero spells for his allies. This wooden machine had yet to show it's true powers, so he was still prepared to brace any frontal assault the heartless would create. "Burn!" he yelled out, spitting a ball of fire from his blade. Like a baseball, it hovered over the ground, and curved up onto the creature's forehead, directly below the pesky archers.
Pretty much the reason I try not to volunteer as much.

"Water, eh?" Krowley thought aloud from Basil's interpretation. With the sigh of his other allies joining in the magical offensive, he decided to follow and held up his keyblade in front of him. An orb of water began to form at the tip of the blade and form into a condensed bubble of shaking water. Almost about to explode, he held it up to the heartless threat. He would have normally done a fire attack, but this was going to leave much more of a splash... "Make it rain!" he yelled out, spitting out four hydrant blast of an Aqua Splash attack. The first burst onward, he stepped forward, balancing himself from the pressure of the intense attack as if he was holding a fire hose. How Dumbo did this from his own nose, he would never know.

At long last! As for the film itself, I still need to see it. But from what I see from the trailers and hear from my friends, I'm not getting too excited about it. The numerous villains and parents subplot feels like they're pushing too much into a film. A 150 minute film.

But please don't let me spoil your big moment. She's only blood after all..." Vanitas tightened his grip on her causing the woman to flinch out in pain. "D-don't hurt her!" she called out. "Oh don't worry. Mummy will be safe so long as my demands are me-" "Rapunzel, don't listen to him! Run!" Vanitas pulled her back to prevent any more words from her. "Now now Gothel, the young girl is old enough to make up her own mind... isn't that right Rapunzel? It was your decision to leave the tower. Your decision to leave your mother alone and without a note, It was your very action that led me right to her... So in a delicte sense of phrase; this is all. Your. Fault." Vanitas had a knack for bringing down people, and the look on the petite woman's face was al the more gratifying. Rapunzel sank back down on the boat and looked at her reflection in the water. All the guilt she had ignored hit her like a fury of frying pans to the head. Flynn tried to comfort her by putting a hand on her shoulder and speaking to the masked boy. "What do you want from us?" he called out. "Us? Hah. I only need her. Just go back home and the you'll find the truth there," he used his free hand to point to her directly to the girl. He looked to the docks behind the two on the boat to find four keybladers having come to find this place. "And come alone, or mommy is going to get an ouchy." He summoned his keyblade and set a dark blaze on one of the lanterns. The lantern exploded from the black flames and spread across the surrounding lanterns like a wildfire of darkness. The once warm glow turned into a heated nightmare. Enough of a distraction to attract the palace guards, who sounded the alarm to go to their location. Without another word, he fled into the dark corridor with Mother Gothel. "Don't do it Rapunzel! It's a tra-" but before she could finish warning her, Vanitas disappeared with her through a dark corridor. "Mother! Rapunzel screamed. Seeing she was in pain, Flynn rowed the boat back to the group as the blazing lanterns drifted down into the water, extinguishing the embers. Now it looked like the fireflies were dying. "Over here men! The fire started in this direction!" A guard yelled from afar. She gently guided the distraught girl on Maximus. "You guys have to take her back. I'll distract the guards so they don't follow," he ordered. "But Flynn-" "Eugene," he corrected. "My name is actually Eugene Fitzherbert... Man that feels good to let out." He looked into her eyes one last time before turning to the group. Consider this making us even for earlier... Please keep her safe." Before finally departing he looked at Maximus. "Hope that makes us even to." Maximus the horse looked at his sincere gesture and was saddened. He wanted to turn him in, but not this way. ""Now go!" he yelled, running to the more populated side of the docks. "Hey guys over here! It's big nose!" "Eugene..."
