"Sakura, I want you to run. I do not want you to be hurt."

Sakura heard Patroklos's words, but was unsure on what to do. Hadn't he asked her to come with him because he believed in her? Then how could she possibly turn and run now, when she was needed?
But on the other hand, she was scared. And what could she do? These two before her were obviously far more than human, and her basic level of magic would stand no chance against them.
Everything looked so hopeless.

And then the light began to shine.
Behind Patroklos, a faint sigil began to form, red in colouration. It grew brighter, attracting Patroklos's attention, as the area around them began to be tinted with it's light.
It made her think.
So what if she was weak? Patroklos was her friend. He needed her help, whether he admitted it or not. And no matter how little she could do, she could do it.
"Patroklos, I'm not going to run." She said bravely, taking a step forward.
"If we have to die here, then we'll die together. If we live, we live together. I won't run away and let you just be killed for me!"
A second sigil began to form, this one a brilliant white colour, under Sakura's feet.
"I won't be the one to kill a friend like that! I've lost people before, I won't lose anybody else!"
Like the first, this sigil grew brighter, until the red and white glows were overlapping, filling the area with a light that enveloped everyone.

Two figures suddenly faded into existence before the pair, knocking Enkidu's spear away from the boy's throat with their emergence, allowing him to at least get behind them.
Ignoring the two Servants, the new figures turned to face Sakura and Patroklos, the one dressed in white focusing on Sakura, while the one in red focused on the latter.

Opening their eyes, the duo looked directly at their focus, and finally spoke.
"Summoned forth by your will-"
"-my sword shall become yours."
"So I ask of you-"
"I ask of you."
"Are you my Master?"

Sakura was awestruck. For a moment, she wasn't sure how to respond, but after a while she thought she understood, her eyes showing her determination, and she nodded at the one in white.
"I am." she said simply, looking into the white-clad Servant's eyes.
"I am a Servant of the Saber class. Under normal circumstances, you would call me Saber. However, the rules of this world mean that more than one of each class can exist at one point. As such, you may refer to me as Saber Lily." the white-clad Servant informed her Master, with a gentle smile forming on her features.
"Let us work together to achieve our goals."

"Amuro, some of these things look different. Tougher." Quatre announced to the current leader of the group, as he claimed the life of one of the Beasts by cleaving it in two with his dual blades.
"Good eye!" Amuro complimented, suddenly noticing the same fact himself.
"It looks like they're the same model, but command versions, issuing short-range orders of some kind. If we take them out, maybe we can cut off the enemy's reinforcements!"
"Allow us to offer you assistance." Stern added, tapping into their communications.
"So far I have identified nine of those command units. They're identified by their blue colour and shoulder-mounted stingers. I will lock you all onto their signals."
At once, each of the mecha's HUD's began picking up the signals of the enhanced DAMONs, with Stern having accessed those systems as well.
"Thanks. Keep us locked onto them as best you can; we'll try to deal with them fast and end this."
"Understood."

Having been more or less dragged (albeit willingly) to the bar by Mina, Guy sat down with the girl and took his drink, listening to what she had to say.
She seemed to greatly respect him, perhaps seeing in his eyes just what kind of man he was? In either case, Guy was kind of surprised to be exposed to this side of her. He had known that Kamina wasn't always running headfirst into things and being reckless, but Mina... even despite visibly being just a female version of the man, she was clearly her own person as well. He found that fact interesting. What if there was an alternate version of himself in this place too? And if there was, how would they act differently? He found himself rather curious, even as Mina spoke to him.
"You're kind of right." Guy admitted, nodding at Mina's pseudo-question. "A lot happened back home. Some things great. Others... the kind of things that you want to forget."
He downed a small amount of his drink before continuing, making sure not to overdo it, as Guy was a sensible sort.
"I'm the pilot of PhantomGao, and the leader of the Robot Gundan of GGG. We've fought a lot of bad guys, from terrorists to aliens made of transforming metal, and more."
Mina went on to explain her thoughts on how their chances were, before suddenly asking out of nowhere;
"Tell me, Guy. What do you think of the kids? Simone and Simon."
"They're stronger than they know, I can tell that much." he answered, thinking carefully. Truth be told, he hadn't really thought about anyone's abilities as individuals that much, but he recalled how badly Simon's mental state had interfered with his own take-over of the Dai-Gurren, and saw the power that he and Kamina used together.
"I know not to underestimate anybody here, that's for sure. The way I see it, every one of us was brought here for a specific reason, and that means that we need everyone. Those two will have a big part to play in winning this thing, I'm sure of it. As will you and I."

~~Haven City - Pokémon HQ~~

"Yeah." Lyra said to Gold, quietly. "I won't. I'll be right here with you. For as long as you want me to be."

"Sorry for getting behind." Cheren said quickly, having entered with Bianca. "We got caught up in other matters. Speaking of which..."
He headed to the center of the room, making sure he had everyone's attention, before speaking again.
"I was contacted by Shauntal of the Unova Elite Four. She and the others were scouting around, and discovered that almost all of the Teams that we know of are definitely working together. Namely; Teams Rocket, Magma, Aqua, Galactic, and Neo Plasma. While we don't know what they're up to, we know it can't be good, as evidenced by the fact that we've encountered Articuno under the control of Plasma already. We should all consider the possibility of other legendaries being in their possession too."

Stepping outside after Crystal, Silver sighed, going after the girl while everyone else was busy talking about what to expect.
After a short walk, he found her, in tears and on her knees by a small pool of water in the center of Haven City.
"What are you thinking, coming out here alone? Don't you remember that Team Rocket has control of this City? What would you do if you got ambushed?"
Getting no response at all, Silver turned away and began to fumble at his Pokéballs.
"Crys... you do remember who my father is, right?" he said strangely quietly.
"Now... imagine how he would react to learn that his son wants to join him, and proves his loyalty by delivering the Pokémon owned by one of the trainers that helped put an end to his plans before."
He turned around, now holding one of his Pokéballs in his hand.
"I'm going to stop Team Rocket. And if you're too weak to help me normally, then I'll just take your Pokémon and give you no choice."
