Still not entirely sure what you mean, but have you tried using parts of C4Ds and fractals? Or ones that don't extend past the edge like this?
A possible explanation is also that it is sometimes associated with warriors. Biggest example today is probably seen in Star Wars, with the ARC Troopers. Originally passed to the ARCs from Mandalorian soldiers. Spoiler Compare with Vanitas and Riku. It's used by elite forces (in Star Wars) for protection and also rank designation, but I do recall reading somewhere else (i.e. nonfiction) that it's a symbol of a warrior. Which, when used with Kingdom Hearts, makes sense, since both Riku and Vanitas are "warriors".
C4D are usually in a square image, unless you mean you're trying to erase parts of it but...not really sure what you're asking here.

Yeah, I figured. xD For the beginning part...probably. That's not to say they could become involved in the story other ways, I mean if Genesis really wanted to he could kidnap the kids and use them as a bargaining tool.
