Oh yeah! It was time. Not just any time though. It was beeeeaaacccchhhh tiiiiiiiimmmmeeeeee! Evan was liked super stoked for this so much since he had found out about their little gang all getting together and going on some crazy nice beach vacation time. Oh man! Evan did like the beach and fun in the sun concept. And seeing as he only came into existence in the winter and the only other spring break period he was there for he died, this would be his first chance to live it up. He just hoped no massive plague would come around and shut the whole place down because boy would that be a bummer. The ride to the place had been admittedly long, and the weather was pretty much blazing on the bus ride, but he just counted all that heat as a metaphor for how much energy was going to be burned on this trip to the beach. Evan stretched his arms out as he stepped off the bus and let out a hearty "woohoo~." With that out of the way he began to go walk around with the rest of the gang and go to his respective room. Once there he realized that he was rooming with all his good buds. Between Boss Man, Professor and Cherry Red there was sure to be fun times a had here on this beach trip. Especially drunken story telling and just plain old drunk activities in general. He could always count on these guys to bring the party drinker out in him. Though that would have to wait for later since Cherry Red seemed to be already wanting to go to the pool for his own fun time. There was a go getter of fun if Evan ever saw one. Evan had to follow suit as such he threw his shirt off and took off his shorts to reveal that he was wearing a swimsuit all along. One must always be prepared to go and get in the water on these trips. Going through the bag of stuff that he brought he pulled out a towel and a pair of sunglasses. "Well I'm gonna be going down to the beach after all the," he put on his sunglasses, "the early seagull catches the bread crumbs." After whatever it was he had said, Evan ended up running himself all the way down to the beach and flung his towel out so that he could lay on it. Was he going to lay on it. Not at all at the moment. But it was proper beach goer protocol to have a towel used solely for laying on, and who was Evan to not follow that? Evan ended up pulling off his sunglasses and putting them underneath the towel, buried in a protective layer of sand so no foot would trample them and no glasses thief could get to them. With that, Evan did the only thing left he could. Jump in the water and splash free!
The gang had arrived at a hotel a bit after their meet up with Brandon and Henrik/Araquiel (and less importantly Iris,) and they did their usual dispersal into different rooms. However there was someone who had been bothering Sal for quite the while today. He was walking in the hallway going to his room when he saw Adam around there too. He needed to have a talk with the kid. "Adam, can I have a moment with you." The kid let out a sigh and seemed rather irritated about his question. "Yes floop?" What was a floop? "So in case you didn't realize, while your face does match what you're going for, your body is saying something completely different." He was referring to the fact that the kid had obviously used makeup to keep up his appearance, but his body was swaying more than a rocking chair, and even now he seemed kind of, distant, in his focus. All in all, the kid seemed dead tired. "Oh..." He stayed silent for a moment. "I thought I seemed full of energy." He was apparently delusional as well. "You look like your ready to fall on top of the nearest thing that is remotely soft and never wake up again. Heck i think you'd even settle for the floor right now." "Nah, I'm not knackered at all... nope..." Knackered? "Aside from me not knowing what knackered is at all, I'm just going to say this as clear as I can. Get some sleep." "Maybe." Sal kept his calm visage despite the little rebel giving a rather childish answer. "Not maybe. Yes. If you don't get any sleep you'll be nothing more than a liability to everyone, including yourself." "Calm down, I'll be able to help out, I'm not useless or anything. I don't need to kip and I don't want to kip." Seriously what were all these terms being used? "Care to tell me why you refuse to "kip?"" "Oh man, I said kip? I never say kip... oy..." He seemed to totally forget that he was even asked a question. The kid seemed to be proving Sal's point more and more with each passing moment of this exchange. Then his expression changed to that of irritation once more. "So you can see why I'm telling you to go to sleep now right?" "Oh I'm probably just missing home is all. It's nothing to worry about, has nothing to do with ki- sleep." Right. Home sicknesses. Sal was getting tired himself so he did not feel like asserting himself on Adam, and further pointing out the flaws in him not getting any sleep. "Right right. Well I'll see you tomorrow. Be sure to get some sleep...or kip. Goodnight Adam." "Goodnight then." He waved to Adam and began walking away to his room. This kid better get some sleep or this calm man was going to be paying a visit to him once more. Regardless he checked into his own bed and went to sleep for the night. Both Brandon and Richard went to their respective rooms and fell asleep for the night.
Sal stood there seeing another two people come out of the university. The woman didn't seem to say anything and the man seemed to be rather cold. Quite befitting for where they were really. He watched as Hana called the man Araquiel, and told him sternly and defiantly to give the man, Henrik, his body back. 'Oh, you can take over our bodies?' "Quite. The angel can, at any point, take over their host's body. The host does have the ability to resist but that creates friction between your souls and burdens the possessing angel. Regardless though, the angel will always win no matter the host's power. During this period of time, the host's body can access the full power of the angel, but the weaker the host and the more power drawn, the faster your body will burn up. And once it burns up, the host is dead and the angel moves on to a different person." 'Yikes, that sounds scary. Hope I don't ever have you posses me. I like my body all not dead.' "Angels usually only posses their hosts to make a point. Some don't ever and some do it to try and get there way. You seem to be a co-operative enough host as things stand, and I'd rather not try such a dangerous maneuver on you with little reason at the moment to do such a thing." 'Well then I guess I'll consider myself lucky, Zachariel.' After his little conversation he heard the boy, Brandon, break down everything that had happened since they left him in Germany. Sal thought there thinking that based on the group dynamic so far, they actually did just ditch him there, but wouldn't say anything about it. Hana then proceeded to introduce both himself and Vincent, to which Sal gave a small little wave to the boy. While she was explaining to him what had happened in the past few days, he simply nodded along with her. When that was done with, she asked the million dollar question. Who was this starman? The only thing that came to mind was a star...with eyes, that just made you invincible, but he hardly doubted that was the case. "Oh well Starman is um...he's the dude, with the hair, that's all red and stuff. And uh, he had a private jet, was pretty rich, and ya." The boy certainly had a way of explaining things.
Brandon was standing around noticed that Heinry had come outside as well, along with his wife Eris. He seemed to comment on how there was a lot more than expected to be alive and that's when Brandon noticed something. There was new people in the group. Really only two. But Soleil was missing from the group. He thought back for a moment and remembered that the update that Xana had sent him was addressed to both him and Purel. And if Brandon recalled correctly, Purel was Soleil's angel. Then he heard Heinry introduce them as the scooby doo rejects. Brandon found that to be both rude yet complimenting at the same time. Rude because they weren't even a detective agency, complimenting because it meant that they didn't have to make less than enjoyable movies. Regardless Brandon walked up to the gang and decided to start talking. Always a good thing really. "So yeah, might as well catch you all up to speed here. So after you guys left the hotel in Germany, I was chilling out waiting for Heinry. When he came down, he told me he was in the middle of a fight with Starman and that's why he was so late. Unfortunately Starman got away, so he couldn't rejoin our gang. After that though, Heinry and I went on a plane and flew all the way to Moscow in search of his long lost wife. And search we did, it took many cab rides and going into one building, but we managed to find her. And then nothing really happened and then you guys showed up. So what'd I miss?"

The young blonde haired girl seemed to be rather curious about why Evan was all out and about when people should be just shut ins. He thought about it for a tad but then simply went on with what he knew to be true to himself. "Oh, well me? I'm out because it's a bright and cheery day, and I just couldn't pass the opportunity up to go grooving throughout the town." "That sounds like fun... um, are there other people moving around?" Thinking back on things he hadn't recalled seeing any one else on his way over here. And there certainly wans't anyone out here in the neighborhood. "Uh, well not often. Occasional passerby walker, but most people seem to make their trips as short as possible." "I um, understand why but... unless they learn more about the disease I'm not um... worried... you know?" Worry Schmurry. "Oh totally. It's not like a little unknown thing that ain't even in the air should bring all our spirits down. Though it does make moving around a lot easier with a less of a crowd out." "Yeah... but my friends um... aren't allowed to go outside... so I've been um, alone." What?! The little gal couldn't go and hang out with her friends? Especially in a time when school is out. Man this virus was trying to throw away all the benefits of being a condemned city for the youngsters. "Well, sounds like it sucks. Well you're free to hang out with me, if I'm "hip" enough for you young uns." "You don't look that old at all... um... if you don't mind me asking..." She seemed to trail off for a bit and didn't actually ask a question. So Evan just assumed she was going to ask how old he was."Well if you must know, I'm about 105 years old," to solidify this point of his age he simply pointed at his clearly silver hair. Stupid people thinking it was white. To even further emphasize this he didn't actually say anything for a few moments until he finally burst out laughing a bit and said, "nah, I'm just messing with you. I'm 23." "23 isn't old... for a second I thought you were a wizard." "Wizard of magic I'm not, but Wizard of rollerblading I'd like to think I am." He spun around a bit on his rollerblade to show off a bit. "So you are a wizard. And um, what is your name Mr Wizard?" Too easy to set up. to not try and joke with it. "Harry Po- haha, can't even say that with a straight face. Name's Evan Walker. And your own name would be?" "Um, I'm Lilly, Lilly Connors." He looked up at the now darkening sky and decided to get going back home. "Well its a pleasure to meet you Lil. Getting late though, so, be seeing you around on some other day. Later." "Um, alright. Bye!" He gave a wave to her as he rollerbladed off hearing her harmonica playing in the background. With the short little episode out of the way, Evan made it back home and simply laid down in bed and drifted off to the world of slumber.
Awww, Jayn-chan, sad to see you go, even if it is only for a little while. Really hoping with all my sky/shy kokoro for your wrists to get better and be mended by the holy spirit of the yandere within. And also that your keyboard situation improves. On a less sad note you crazy young-uns have fun with your "going on trips" and "spending time" "together" (don't ask what's with the quotes they're just there.) And really hope for everything to work out for you in California. They got a show whale there in a theme park so that's something to look forward to. In Summation (Aka tldr); *Even deeper breath than last time* GAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMBBBBBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE JAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYNNNNNNNNNN-CCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN and we shall miss you in your absence.
Evan bowed as he was complimented and simply responded, "why no worries at all." He looked up at his young harmonica player to see who exactly she was. She was simply a young little gal, blond hair, seemed to give no fucks about this whole plague situation that the town was in. He was quite surprised really since everyone and their mother, though their mothers probably counted as the everyone anyway, were locked up in their places. Kind of the reason that they were in this whole ghost town situation to begin with. Nevertheless, he noticed how she was just playing around with her harmonica, not doing much out here. Kind of an odd reason to be outside with nothing to do. Evan was, of course, exempt from this norm because he was bored. And getting rid of that boredom was always a top priority of his when it came to what he had to go and do. Striking up some banter with this young gal was probably just the thing he needed to do to get his case of boredom alleviated. "So nice harmonica you got there. Whatcha doing out here right now little girl? What with the plague an all everyone seems to be avoiding the streets like the...um, plague."
Sal was busy standing around doing nothing, when he saw Richard come in and simply sit down and sleep. The man knew how to sleep whenever. Quite the ability. Then Adam came in and he looked fabulous and ready for the new days adventure. Only his face did not match his body language at all. He seemed rather...sluggish. He'd investigate a bit more on that later, when they were not getting ready to leave. Next up was Hana, who seemed rather serious. She seemed to be quite assertive for being the hidden one, quite funny really. She said that they were leaving with or without him, and wondered if he what he observed was what he was looking for. It was not. Next on the list of people was Sam and Vincent, menacing and jovial respectively. When everyone else had fallen into the lobby Sal turned his attention to Hana. "About the teamwork thing, you all failed pretty hard to show me any real example of teamwork, but I'll tag along regardless. Seems like quite the fun thing you got going on here." With that out of the way the gang got together and started their drive off to find a new place to travel to. 4 Hours LaterThe gang had ended up going all the way back to the flooded Venice, which thankfully had a still running airport, and as such they ended up flying off to Moscow. Sal was slightly confused with why they were going to Moscow, Russia over any other European nation, heck any other nation in general. He figured, though, the gang was on to some sort of fallen angel lead, or they were doing something angel related. Regardless the flight took hardly any time at all, and the gang had ended up in Moscow. With that out of the way they ended up getting a car or two to end up driving off to wherever the compass had guided them. They ended up outside some sort of a Russian university and checked one last time to see the compass that the compass was leading them there. When they started walking up to the entrance some silver haired boy with glasses burst out of the doors yelling, "oh man guys! Haven't see n you in forever! So how's the angel squad doing these days? Good to see everyone looks just the same as when I left." Well this boy was rather excited about them being here. Was he already a part of this gang? That'd be odd if he just sort of split off, but Sal would observe how things went between this old newcomer and the rest of the group.
Evan was continuing to rollerblade down the streets simply sipping away his iced tea until finally, he finished up that iced tea nice and good. With that out of the way, being by the good old Candlewood park, he simply tossed the cup like it was a basketball shot and waited for the cup to go in. Unfortunately it bounced off the rim of the can and ended up landing on the ground beside it. And that's why Evan wasn't a basketball player. Picking up his trash, since litter was one of the largest criminal offenses, he tossed it back into the can and rollerbladed off to go and live it up somewhere else. With his wheels a rolling and his spirit unbound Evan continued to rollerblade and ended up going into a neighborhood area. Man, everything just seemed so desolate and barren. Like a ghost town. Boy did that make for great blading area. He continued to go through the area until he heard a faint noise coming from somewhere. It was soft, melodic, and old timey sounding. He started to blade further down the road closer to the noise trying to pinpoint its location. Though he did figure out that it belonged to a harmonica he was still not sure where it was coming from. That was until he heard someone singing some sort of salutations greeting singsongy thing. Though at the end of it the notes being sung were rather, piercing to his ears. Due to the notes being sung he somewhat lost his balanced and started blading rather awkwardly and was ripe to fall flat on his face. If Evan were any lesser man, he indeed would've succumbed to the balance loss and the stinging sensation that would follow it. However, He was Evan Allen Walker, rollerblade extraordinaire. He started to spin out of control only to go into a one legged perfect seven hundred twenty degree spin and plant both his feet on the ground. With a cheery smile, acting as if that odd scene didn't happen at all, he simply said, "and a hello to you my harmonica playing little miss."
Richard awoke that morning to simply drag himself out of bed and get moving on with the day. He simply went about his morning duties, only that he had to get changed back into his same clothes since all his other ones were left behind. Not that Richard entirely cared too much about it. After the usual undefined morning stuff was taken care of, Richard simply went on his way to go to his usual post. That being the lobby chair, with him asleep in it. When he opened up the elevator door however, there stood the familiar smoking angel. Great. "Come on, we're going up. There's things you need to do." Even more great. Richard complied with the angel and took the elevator to the top floor. He then followed him all the way up to the roof, where Maalik simply turned around and exhaled a large puff of mist. "Now then, why you're here is simply because you've been slacking off. Really you've been sleeping for two days straight and were barely awake the third day. I'd say it's impressive if not for it being a completely worthless accomplishment." "Are you going somewhere with this?" "Yes, yes I am. The point here is that you've done barely any sort of training recently, and I'm here to rectify that." The cigarette in Maalik's hand transformed into a saber, one that looked similar to, yet slightly more decorated than his own. "Draw." Richard reluctantly pulled out El-Harriss and got into his en garde stance ready to take on Maalik. Maalik simply ignited his saber and waved his arm at Richard, sending a wall of flame at Richard, who didn't have any real counter towards. He tried his best to backfire against it, but alas it was not enough contend with Maalik's flame. "And that's why you won't be able to win. You're still only using half of your power. I'll tell you this right now, I may be the Guardian of Hellfire, but I'm not the only hellfire user. So think, about what you can do to stop me if your flames are too weak." Richard stood there, trying to think of what he could do against this wall of flame. If some sort of backfire couldn't work, what exactly would? That's when it hit him. A memory from all the way back when he first joined the gang. It was when Samuel had lit his hand on fire at the end of their battle and Richard simply had mist pour over it. Well it was worth a shot if it got Maalik off his back. Maalik swung his blade again and sent out a wall of flame once more. Richard responded to that by sending out a wall of hellfire mist towards the flame. The mist acted as a wall towards the flame and eventually extinguished the white hellfire. "Guardian mist. Having the ability to mitigate and if strong enough, neutralize hellfire. That's step one to getting your final ability and for now, I'll leave you alone since you actually learned something." With that, Maalik disappeared in a plume of mist leaving Richard alone on the roof. Thinking that that was good enough for now Richard simply went to the hotel lobby and slept in a chair.
It was so nice to be out and about now that had body had stopped rebelling over his "over exhausting" means of entertainment. Sure people kept saying things about moderation and pacing, but man it was just too fun to pay attention to those silly little pieces of advice. He was all about going and going until you just couldn't go any more. After all going for as long as he could just made it all the more liberating and fun. This was, of course, referring to him rollerblading down the streets of Candlewood. Ever since that one day of rest he hadn't really done much in the way of rollerblading solely because his body was either really unresponsive or he was hungover. By the end of yesterday he felt like he was truly ready to get back into the game and get back he did. Rolling through out town without a care in the world he thought of what he could do for the day here in the good old plague ridden condemned city of Candlewood. School work was always an option. Unfortunately it was a rather boring option that just didn't really appeal to Evan that much. All he'd been doing for the past few days was school work. He needed a change of pace for a bit. Blading into the local cafe he decided to get an ice tea and leave with it. No sense in plopping himself down at a table when he was just high on life's fumes. And man were those some seriously good fumes life had. He would have to find life and give it a handshake one of these days. Drinking his iced coffee was a good way to kill time, but not the way he needed to spend it, no sirree. Normally what he'd do in this sort of situation was...well actually just rollerblade around with about as much cares as a chicken with its head cut off, cause once you lose your head you don't care about a lot. The only time he ever really hung with any of his buds was when they prompted him to, simply because that's when he knew that he was required to swoop in and have some fun. Usually he figured his friends were doing fine without him or were just plain old busy. The thought of antagonizing Little Vixen more did enter his head. That was quite the fun pastime as well, one that usually ended with just the most adorable of threats. Ah, maybe later. For now Evan simply continued blading on blissfully, staring to the clouds.
Sol was quite enjoying this fight against this big enemy. Despite all the pansies with their whole fireballs and power arrows Sol was simply enjoying his ability to be able to cleave into this little big wolfmon, mightyena, thing. Regardless, the ruin maniac gal had used actual useful magic. That useful magic being the gift of being able to kill shit even better than he already could. And that was pretty undefined how well he could kill. Though despite this buff, he was stuck sitting on his ass for a bit since his was last in the turn order, that made him rather annoyed. But persevere through it he did and released his Hyper Slash arte again because goddamn it if he wasn't going to make this beast hurt as well as he could.
DAY 39 Wednesday, October 30th, 2013Sal awoke that morning feeling positively jubilant. His body was no longer sore and his sleep was free of getting pulverized to near death multiple times. Those two probably did have some sort of direct correlation to each other. Regardless Sal was ready to leave this flooded country of Italy and get on with bigger and better things. If Venice were anything to go by then the gang would need to get their act together soon enough or else they may just end up dying horrid deaths. Not fun. Unfortunately Sal had abandoned his clothing in the flood and as such was only stuck with his striped pajamas and night cap. At the very least they were comfortable and that was a plus. Nevertheless he began to walk downstairs in the hotel to get some good old fashioned breakfast food. After devouring a meal that even professional eaters could only stare in amazement at, he went to the lobby to do his average waiting. Sal had, however, wondered what exactly that orb thing was that he picked up at the end of his training. He hadn't really felt any different and didn't get time to get it explained yesterday what with all the team bonding and flooding. "Well if you wish to know what the fruits of your labor are simply go outside to utilize them." Zachariel was a cryptic one indeed, especially since she always seemed to know what he was thinking. Regardless he went out of the hotel to look for a place to hang out in, which is where he found a nice convenient alleyway. He noticed what looked like a flattened dumpster and was quite intrigued by what did it. Really did like a steam roller or something fall from the sky and crush it. Regardless it was the optimal place for him to practice his powers in private. "Alright then, now we shall begin the demonstration." Sal began to have a faint golden aura coming off of him and was a bit intrigued by it. "So what exactly is this?" "Run to the other end of the alley." Pretty sure that wasn't an answer. Nevertheless he went with and ran to the other end of the alley. However when he got there he noticed one odd thing. He had gotten there far too quickly. "And there you have the first power. Aura of the Sun rank one. The ability's classification is known as overcharge, a process in which you gain so much more energy and can use so much more that you are able to move and react faster much normally than you normally would." "Well that sounds neat an all, but I thought you were the Command of God or something. so what does the sun power have to do with anything?" "While I am the Command of God, I also have a secondary title and a three minor domains. Those domains being Sun, Earth, and Healing. All of the powers you will gain through those three are known as Auras, or simply put a augment to your physical capabilities. There are three ranks in each domain, but for now we won't worry about those. Now that you have gained some familiarity with your power, you should go back." Sal was quite interested in all of the other powers that he was to gain, excited even. Though the prospect of it did sound great, it obviously had the downside of most likely only being obtainable through vicious mental beatdowns. Oh well, only time would tell at this rate. The golden aura ended up dissipating around Sal and as such he walked back to the hotel and simply sat around in the lobby waiting for others to show up.
Brandon did absolutely nothing for the entire day...again. Well absolutely nothing would be a bit of a lie. What he had done was simply play tennis with himself and worked on theory for how to make his ignite serve all the better. Hopefully it would go over alright when finally put to practice. Though what with his constant electric jacket and constant tennising the boy eventually became tired and decided that it was bed time. Before that though he had received a text from Xana. Flood in Venice? Gang in Padua? Timmy fell down a well? Wait, Brandon was pretty sure that last part was not in the text. Regardless he was glad to be recieving an update on the group and as carefree as he was, he was starting to feel impatient. At this point all he really wanted to do was rejoin the gang, but he had to stay here for Heinry and he couldn't just leave a bro behind. Oh well. With that out of the way Brandon eventually fell asleep in wherever the two of them ended up staying for the night and yeah. Meanwhile Sal was rather pleased with how things went with the his little group discussion. The first girl who spoke up, Josyln/Azazel, had an interesting little tidbit to share. Contrary to what one might think Sal has some spot on hearing, and heard from her that she liked playing with herself and showers. Well playing games with oneself is a good way to pass the time when by yourself, and showering did help one feel nice and cleanly. Next up was Adam/Semyaza who revealed to be quite the Casanova. A man who thinks with his dick so to speak and speaks before processing what he says. Oh well, he'd just chalk that up to being tired, since he was sure not many people had gotten any sleep. Next up was Richard/Maalik who revealed to like to fence and sleep. Well it was good to have a person who enjoyed swords on the team, and sleeping was always a good way to replenish ones energy. Next up was Logan/Samael, a rather scrappy fellow. Scrappy fellows were good underdogs indeed...or complete douche holes. Sal was hoping he was the former. In the end though he didn't get anything out of the two people he really wanted to here from the most. That being Kai/Dumah and Jun Tae/Raziel. Kai just seemed to not want to make himself known for whatever reason (to the point where he was having less presence than the "Hidden One",) and Jun Tae was just a big mystery in general. These two would need to break out of their shells eventually but tonight was a good enough start. With that done, the entire gang disbanded and went off to sleep for the rest of the day. Also Richard found his own room an went to bed there because he can and he's motherfucking Richard and sleeping is like one of his main attributes. And as such Richard went to further perfect this attribute and sleep away the rest of the day.
The young gentleman had continued to carry out through his day like it was to be expected. He sat around the house merely completing his work and simply eating not the healthiest of nourishment. Nevertheless he perceived and completed the assignments that had been presented before him with relative ease. With that done he lounged about his abode and simply wasted the day away. Television was exceptionally proficient at this task. He merely watched the news, which really only depressed him, and watched programs that existed solely for comedy. He may be a gentleman, but gentlemen do like their funnies. Eventually Mother came home from her errands, pleased to see the young sir seated at home rather out and about, and the family had dinner. With dinner out of the way, the young gentleman had dismissed himself and had decided to go to bed at that time. Despite doing nothing he felt rather tired. Must have just been one of those kinds of days. With nothing more to do he simply lied down in his bed and drifted off into sweet sleep.
Richard had found a seat and was clearly tempted to sleep in it. Sure he had slept for two days straight without moving at all, but more sleep never hurt. However, they were apparently supposed to do some team building because they apparently didn't know enough about each other. This was clearly true but Richard didn't exactly feel like putting too much effort into fixing it. Nevertheless he couldn't simply fall asleep at this point due to the combination of people actually participating, and more importantly Maalik's looming figure near him. Oh well. Despite only three of the ten actually saying something it still had suddenly become odd. The Joslyn girl apparently liked to shower. Well that was certainly different from the usual hobby. Then the Adam kid sounded something like an inebriated sex addict. Richard had no opinion on this. Regardless he decided to that he should at least throw in his own input, no matter how concise it might end up sounding. "I like to fence and sleep." The latter of which he could really enjoy doing right about now. The former he could go for at a time that wasn't stupidly early in the morning.
Well this was certainly the interesting development for the group. He was apparently right on the mark about the whole idleness=death thing, and was quite intrigued at the other indirect means the dark angels used to try and kill the angel gang. Next up that compass was quite interesting as well. It guided them, though how it actually worked was rather vague but Sal didn't really care about the inner mechanisms of it. Not now at least. Finally to learn that Hay Sun/Uriel was probably on a mission to find Ariel was slightly double edged. On the one hand it meant she was most likely not dead, on the other hand it meant that she was just sort of left without warning. What a group they truly were. Sal continued to stand around and try off his clothing when he figured that since they were all already awake they might as well do something with it before they went back to sleep. "Well I think for the time being we should just stay here for now and compose ourselves for tomorrow's activities." He then thought of what to do with the group. He still felt that this group was no where near a team yet and as such thought some team building would be in order. As far as he was concerned about this group two types of team building were necessary for really any team. First being synergy, how well they work together, use their skills together, and whether or not they fight in harmony with one another or just as individuals against the same opponent. The second one was, "but before we get to sleeping how about we work on some team building. One key part of team building is trust, and one way to build trust is by getting to know someone. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but other than the angel they are, their name, and their ethnicity, you don't really know much about the people you're alongside right now. So let's start off with something simple like hobbies. For instance, I enjoy streetball and play a mean acoustic guitar. Now, who wants to share something about themselves next?"
Brandon woke up that morning ready and raring to go. Yeah! Today was going to be the day they left Russia and went on to bigger and better things. Like Guatemala. There was bound to be something of angelic significance in Guatemala. Why? Fuck if I know. Regardless Brandon simply bounded out of bed and got himself dressed up all nice and lightly dressed like he was living in the autumn on the east coast of the United States. Oddly specific, I know. Anyway, Brandon walked downstairs to notice that no one at all was up and awake yet. Kind of reminiscent of yesterday really. Regardless of that, Brandon simply chilled out (all the puns intended) in the lobby and bounced around his tennis ball while putting up his electric jacket to keep warm. He was thinking about his skills with the tennis racket and one of his most potent techniques, the ignite serve. He had this odd urge to make the serve all the more better. I mean, as things stood, it was pretty unstoppable, but if this role play was anything like most RPGs, those demon students were only the mooks. Cannon fodder. The Zergling rush. As such there was probably stronger enemies to come, and Brandon needed to get as ready as possible for it. With that in mind he continued to bounce his ball around and chill in the lobby.
The young gentleman awoke to not a sound to be made throughout his house. He gazed at his clock to notice that the time was no where near the morning he so used to eat breakfast and plan his day. No, it was the afternoon. How had he allowed time to slip by him so carelessly within his sleep. Perhaps he had been so excited and spent an unnecessarily large amount of energy at Miss Pierce's house due to his nerves that it left him quite the tired soul. Ah nevertheless he had to get up for the day sooner or later and as relaxing and calming as his bed was, it was not a place to spend the entirety of the day. Getting himself out of his bed he simply began to go on his day as if it were an average day. Though the silence around his house was a tad unnerving at first, that is until he realized why the quiet was around. Mother had gone off to do her own errands, ones that the young gentleman was perfectly capable of executing himself, though Mother was vehemently opposed to his notions. Lillian, his rather innocent younger sister, had been busy simply wasting the day away on her cellular phone device. Partaking in the recreational activity known as texting. The young gentleman was slightly confused why she did not just call the person she was talking to, but who was he to question the recreational activities of others. In the end the young gentleman simply settled down and decided to go and spend his day productively! That is to say doing the bare minimum amount of school work he should for the day and completely lounging about for the rest. Today was going to be a slow day indeed, especially compared to day prior. Thankfully he had already spent most of it.
