Sal was glad that Uriel was able to calm down and return Hay Sun back to being in control of her own body. Good news, good news. Hay Sun did seem pretty confused though and that only lead Sal to believe that one did not remember what they were doing under the influence (of an angel that is.) To alleviate her confusion Sal simply said. "Well you're in Russia, in the coldest city on Earth. The reason you're here is because, well your angel basically took control of your body on a rampage to find Ariel. But now that you're all better we should probably find a place to rest for the night." Sal took off the heaviest of the jackets he was wearing and draped it over Hay Sun. "For the cold," he said. Sure he was colder now, but it wasn't anything he couldn't handle...in short periods of time.

The gang eventually made their way to a local hotel and decided to stay the night there. Once the rooms were assigned the gang went to their respective ones and simply went to go sleep there. Sal thought that this was a very interesting day, and had no idea how the others were doing, but oh well. He lied down on his bed and went for a good night's rest...or at least he thought he was going to until....

Sal awoke to himself back in the same dream world that he had been in for all those times he had had to do the **** ton of fighting. He had acquired the Sun Aura, the Earth Aura, and now the Healing Aura. He didn't really know what else he was supposed to be doing here. That's when he heard Zachariel's soft voice. "You are here now to further your powers. I still have them bounded in their growth and they shall continue to be bound until you acquire the final rank for each power. You have already acquired rank one. Now you need rank two, three, and the final rank. Each rank will be harder to get than the last, but each one will grant you more power than you had before. There is still so much to accomplish Salvatore, and you are in no way close to being finished. In fact, now that you have all rank ones, I would say the real training is just beginning." Her voice disappeared. Well this was going to be great. He didn't entirely know what she meant by his training just beginning, but he was sure that it probably meant more pain and suffering in the future. Oh well. It was time to begin the first rank two training.
Sal wasn't sure which power he'd be working for rank two first. Granted he had a hunch that it would be sun, simply because he started with sun. It was his original power that he had got and now he had to go and train it some more. Though despite trying to use the gold aura, nothing was appearing. Perhaps Zachariel just had the auras on lockdown for now. He was wondering how he was supposed to prove his ability with these powers if he wasn't going to use his powers, but oh well. The sky turned red and the clouds turned black. That could only mean one thing. The wisps started to plume out of the ground and the shadows reformed themselves into his old nemesis. It was the beast type enemy. The two fighters glared at each other and just like that, it was time to go for round one.

The beast did its all too familiar startup attack. It charged straight at Sal, and Sal just prepped himself to get ready to dodge the thing. When it finally was about to slam into him, Sal evaded to the side and got ready to go on his beat down on the beast. He threw a straight to the beast's face and continued with a series of jabs at it. Finishing off with a kick, the beast went flying back. But that wasn't enough to win the first round. Not yet at least.

The beast picked itself back up and continued to charge at Sal. Sal did his best to avoid each and every punch thrown by the beast. It was quite the difficult thing to keep up with, but he was able to dodge each and every blow that the beast tried to inflict upon him. Sal continued to weave around, evade all the attacks, continue with a counter attack. The beast was not faring well at all. It was swaying back and forth. Sal continued to hit the thing until it fell down. The thing that used to cause him so much trouble in his first fifteen rounds here just lied there. Unmoving. Until finally it dissipated and died away. And that was round one over and done with.
Sal figured that if it was just going to be nine more rounds of this, he could easily do this training session in record time. Then again this was Zachariel and her extremely sadistic means of training him. That could only mean one thing. The fights were going to get increasingly more difficult, heck Sal was probably going to get his ass handed to him again by this beast shadow creature. He was wary of what new twist that Zachariel was going to throw at him but hey, he was going to have win against it or else he'd never be free from this training. Well no, if he lost enough times he'd probably be liberated from here, but it would never end if he kept going like that. The beast had reformed and snarled at Sal. Round two was more than likely going to be a much different one from the first. And it was already showing.

The beast was going to charge him. It was always did. The attack wasn't different. But something about the beast was. Its eyes were no longer red. It was a swirling mix of green and blue. It had glow coming off of it of the exact same color. Sal recognized this color. The beast was using the earth aura. Sal immediately dodged to the left, making sure not dodge to the right like last time. It mattered little though. The beast was able to stop itself almost immediately and turned his attention towards Sal. It threw a straight right towards Sal, which he was able to quickly dodge it. That didn't mean the blow was useless though. Sal felt the force in that punch. It was greater than anything he had ever experienced so far. As such he threw an uppercut towards the beast and hit it square in the jaw.

The beast cared little for the blow to its head. In fact, it forced its head down and pushed Sal's fist away. Sal sent another straight at it, while he was losing his balance, at hit the beast square in the chest. Sal felt a slight pain throw his hand as he did this. This thing was significantly stronger than before, and it was all because of that earth aura. He was off balance, and couldn't move away from the next attack. The punch to his gut that sent him hurtling through the air. The bones in his body just shattered, and his coughed out so much blood. He was down and out and with round two had ended.
Sal lied there. He couldn't move at all. It was impossible with his body the way it was. That's when he felt Zachariel's familiar healing power wash over him. Oh dear lord how he had not felt a healing like this in quite some time. Sure he had been stabbed...repeatedly in the last training session, but this time, this time he was completely broken. He felt all the pain and agony he had felt before and slowly stood up through it. He was able to muscle through it, being through this kind of torture so many times before, so he had been getting used to the pain. However it still hurt like a *****. Once he picked himself up, he saw the beast standing there at the other end. It was go time for sure.

The beast roared and charged to kick off round three. Sal knew what he had to do. Sort of. Okay he really didn't know at all what to do. His attacks did pretty **** damage and the beast was able to instantly wreck him in one punch. Oh the strength of the earth aura. Regardless he got out of the way and jumped back from the charge. The beast was now ready to bring down his earthen hammer and Sal had to take caution against it. The beast went for a jab right at Sal's gut, which Sal was able to dodge. The wind generated from the force of the punch was still crazy regardless. Sal had no choice but to dodge punch after punch to be sure that he just didn't totally die.

Eventually he just devolved into continuous dodging and was getting no where with the fight whatsoever. He continued to dodge without any means of victory formulating in his head. The beast finally got bored of the fight and did something Sal was not expecting. It sweep kicked him, shattering his shins and giving the beast the perfect opportunity. Taking it, the beast did an uppercut on Sal and sent him soaring through the air until finally, he came crashing down on the water ground with a huge splash. The beast was over and done with the fight and if this wasn't a dream world, Sal would most definitely be dead.
Sal was unable to move once again. Reduced nothing but an odd pile of shattered bone and torn flesh, he tried to pick himself back up while he was getting regenerated but it wasn't really working out that well. The whole pain and agony thing kept persisting with each of the Zachariel healing things. This fight was getting quite literally no where, and Sal had to think of a way to actually win against the beast. If he didn't win, then it was just going to be an all around bad time for him. Simply because then Zachariel would keep calling him back here until he did. Ugh, what a bother that was. Once Sal was fully regenerated and back to his old self, the two combatants leered at each other and were off to a fight.

The beast did his usual roar and charge and Sal could've sworn the roar was louder than the last time they fought. Maybe that was also the Earth Aura's doing. Anyway, the beast started the fight off with leaping over Sal and turning around to basically wreck him in one shot. Sal ducked under the blow and was about to hit the beast, but waned from it and simply back stepped away from the beast. The beast continued to advance towards Sal and throw all different punches at him.

In order to try and not die Sal just kept avoiding like last time. He knew that this would only end in his defeat again but ducking and weaving was all he could do at the moment. He knew his attack were going to do jack **** so all he had was his dodging. And he couldn't do that forever. Eventually Sal did decide to go in for a punch...but so did the beast. The two ended up meeting head on in what can only be described as a fist bump of epic proportions...and a deadly one. One that ripped through Sal's fist and broke his arm completely. The beast only needed one more punch and after it was done, he walked away, leaving Sal limp on the floor as the loser once more.
Sal felt the immediate pain of being restored to full vigor. This was one of the more ironic things about getting healed after every beatdown really. He picked himself back up after getting healed and figured it was time to get going. He needed a real battle plan here. Not just some sort of dodge every attack and wait to killed kind of plan. That only ended in one way and he had to overcome this beast. Once up he simply loosened his now reconstituted body and got ready to go into round five. The beast turned its attention towards him and simply roared. The two were deadlock ready to fight and thus, the fighting between the two had begun.

The earth aura coated beast charged straight at Sal. It was no longer predictable what the beast was going to do, seeing as Sal had passed the threshold for the pattern of attacks. All he could do now would be to wait and react. He had the reflexes to dodge this thing, just not the strength to hurt it. The beast jumped at Sal and was going to hit him by doing a punch jump attack. Well that was new. But not practical. Sal simply avoided the punch by jumping to the side and got ready to do his counterattack. The beast was able to push itself off the ground almost instantly, though, and as such it got back up and ready to kill Sal.

Sal kept to his original plan of just dodging the punches. It was kind of easy to deal with now that he had gotten a feel for the force behind them. Though he thought about how he was going to win and then had an idea. This wasn't just about movement speed. It was also probably about timing. Sal dodged the next punch thrown at him and decided that he should just try out an attack. He sent a straight right into the beast's face, causing it to stumble back a bit. Sal realized that this was now his chance to end this Earth Beast's day and went for a kick to the thing's gut. However the beast seemed rather unfazed by the attack and ended up recovering. Once recovered it grabbed Sal's now extended leg and crushed it. With that out of the way, the beast went on a rampage and simply broke Sal, thus ending round five.
Sal knew he was getting somewhere with that last fight. The hits he made did actually make the beast react...or at least it made the beast stagger. And really only the blow to the head did that. As such Sal came up with an idea that just might be crazy enough to work. As the agonizing repair of his body took place Sal stood up and decided that it would be now or....well next round really, to get the win in. But now or never sounded more definitive so he would definitely go with that. He focused his attention on the beast and the beast glared back at him. Round six was getting underway.

The beast started with his large roar and followed up with the massive charge attack. Sal avoided it, as per the usual, and went into his reaction mode. He had to do everything just right or this would end horribly for the portuguese man. He felt punch after punch try to take him down and stop him in his tracks, but Sal kept dodging. Duck and weave all around. He had to be sure that the opening was clear in order to begin the attack. The beast was getting angry and was just wildly swinging at this point, but Sal kept dodging until he saw the proverbial signal he was looking for.

The beast was over extended in its punch, and as such Sal took the opportunity to through a straight right to its face. The beast staggered back from the punch and Sal followed up with another one to the face. The beast was able to regain its composure and went for another attack. Unfortunately for it, Sal had the rhythm down now. He continued to punch the thing in the face once or twice, and then quickly backed off. He did this a number of times until finally the beast could take no more, and fell to the ground.
Sal was expecting the beast just to turn into an orb and be over and done with this whole training session. But it didn't. It just vanished and Sal now knew that he was in for a much longer fight than he had previously anticipated. This was confirmed when he saw a grand total of three wisps coming from the ground. Well that was going to be just all around lovely. Out of the plumes of mist came three beast types. Well that was certainly different. Including the fact that one of them had an earth aura on him, meaning that Sal was going to have to do what he just did, with two more beasts trying to kill him.

Sal thought he was pretty much ****ed when the three beasts all came charging at him. That is, until something unique happened. He look at his hands and then noticed that he had the golden glow around him. Whoa, he was actually going to be using the sun aura in this fight. That was different. He quickly dodged the earth one, much easier than before, and noticed the other two coming in for some really weird;ly awkward to dodge attacks. He was still able to get out of the way with his new found speed, though, and simply backed off from the three.

While Sal was considerably faster, he was no more durable than the last time he had gotten the **** kicked out of him. Any one of these beasts could just as easily end it against him, and that was a bit of an issue. The two not earth ones tried to run around and flank him while the earth one tried to go straight on. Sal ran forward to avoid the flankers and simply weaved around the fist of the earth one. One there, he was able to quickly deliver jab after jab all while retreating to the earth one until it finally went down. All that left was the two regular ones who were no match for the Sun Aura Sal. With that, round seven was over.
Sal was relieved to finally be back in the ass kicking business and with this sun aura assisting him, man it felt good to be able to use his powers. It also felt slightly different on him. Almost like his body was entirely made to operate on speed basis rather than worrying about any other function. Oh well. He honestly had no idea how much longer he'd be stuck in here fighting these things, but it wasn't all bad. Okay, it would probably get bad but hopefully not this round. He looked over and saw two wisps coming in now. It turned out to be one beast type and one....shambler. The beast had an earth aura around and the shambler looked like it was a round five variant. This was bad.

Round eight kicked off with the beast charging at Sal and the shambler firing a long range spike at him. Sal was able to easily dodge it but almost immediately saw the danger this new threat was going to present. The beast just started going wild at Sal, and Sal simply dodged around and avoided all the attacks of the beast type. However while he was focusing on moving around like that, the long range spike kept coming at him. It was curving around the beast and kept cutting Sal, who couldn't entirely dodge the attack. While Sal was able to for the jabs to the face many times, that spike kept him at bay. So he did the only thing he could think of.

Sal dodged the beast's attack and started to run towards the shambler. He was much faster than the beast, so the speed needed to outrun it was no problem. Not to mention he was easily able to dodge all the long range spikes until he finally got in close and almost completely forgot about the close range spikes. Getting cut by nearly all of them, Sal eventually was able to kill the shambler, and roll out of the way just in time to not die from the beast's attack. Turning around to face his earth aura foe, Sal did a quick uppercut to the beast's jaw and quickly backed off. After that was done with, he quickly clobbered the shadow beasts's face and killed it, ending round eight.
Sal was bounding with energy, what this sun aura over him. He felt like there wasn't anything that could stop him, even though he was still just as frail as regular old Sal. The enemy combos would just keep piling up though, and Sal would have to just kill all of them that spawned in. The combatants for round nine eventually formed in though, and what a cast they were. In came one earth aura beast type. But wait, there was more. There now two regular beast types accompanying him. After that was over with, now there were two shadow type...shadows. He'd need to come up with a better name for them. Point was, **** was getting real.

The round started with the shadows sprinting towards Sal, but then veering away from him to make way for their bruiser compatriots. Sal could now keep up with the shadows better, so they probably didn't want to mess with him to start the battle off with. However Sal easily dodged the three beasts and all the attacks they had to throw at him. He was just overall faster than them. He started to try and get around fighting the earth aura one, but the two regulars were making it extremely difficult for him to single the one out. So he simply did what he could and tried to take those two out right off the bat instead.

This plan was foiled almost instantly. He was hit in the back by the two shadows and was forced off balance. This caused him to be wide open and get utterly bunsed by the two beasts. They sent him flying through the air, only to be finished off by the earth aura one who performed a jump punch. Needless to say, the plan did not work. With that over with, the shadow beings all just sauntered off, job well done.
Sal was proven just how weak he still was. Speed meant jack **** if he couldn't effectively use it. As such he needed to be sure that he had an effective way of fighting these ****ers before continuing on with this. Well, he'd have to continue on anyway, but damn it he was going to win if he had to. It was weird turning his attention to his new combatants...because there were like...five of them this time as opposed to the one he usually fought. It was a bit awkward really. Nevertheless, he had to go out and kick these shadow creature's asses if he were going to get out of this.

The round started off the exact same way as last time. After dodging the three beasts, he thought about what to do next. The shadows were clearly going to be his biggest threat simply because they could almost instantly knock him off balance which would be deadly. As such, he had to locate them as quickly as possible. Seeing them sort of dashing around behind him. So what did he do? Sal prompted the shadows to come attack him. He started to go attack the two regular beasts, but quickly jumped away from them, causing the shadows to miss completely. With them away from their target, he simply kicked and killed them.

With them out of the way, the three beasts were pretty much sitting ducks now. He dodged around and tried not to get punched out by the beasts, but eventually he was able to bring one of the regular ones down. With their numbers dwindling, Sal was able to start fighting them more efficiently. He continued to dodge the blows until he felled the other regular one, and took down the head on the other one. The shadow beasts fell one by one and eventually just dissipated. Round ten was finally over and done with but...it clearly wasn't the end of this fight. Well things were still going to go on then.
Sal was curious about this extended session. Perhaps this was going to go until round fifteen or something. Oh well, using his sun aura, Sal was ready to take on everything. He didn't even need to be healed, though, granted if he did need healing it would probably be because he just utterly minged up a round. Oh well. For this round Sal saw what was beginning to be formed, and as such realized that this was going to be a hard round. A beast type, and two shamblers. Jeez one was annoying enough but now two. This was just going to be not fun at all.

The beast, who had an earth aura, charged Sal right from the get go. The two shamblers simply started to go and attack him with five spikes each in their sets. This was really annoying. Sal kept dodging back and forth evading the spikes only to have to try and dodge the stupid beast who tried to slam his fist into him. After the beast missed, Sal then went to break away from the earth beast and ran straight towards the shamblers as he had before. Unfortunately right now, two of them stabbing at him was making him move slower than he should be. As such something really bad happened.

The earth aura beast punched the ground towards Sal. Sal jumped up and kicked off of the beast's face and then was immediately taken down. Despite the fact that what he had done looked cool, he was still hurtling in the air, unable to move, and there were long range attackers going after him. As such they simply skewered him and stabbed through Sal, only for him to be finished off by the earth aura beast. That round went spectacular.
Sal was regenerating on the ground after the big beat down. Damn son, this was getting difficult. As the agony was persisting on him, he simply pushed himself off the ground and tried to regain his balance Jeez, this was a much more threatening combination than he had realized. One hit punches and stab wounds, what was a guy to do? Oh well, he'd figure something out. That's probably what most of these trials were about. Just figuring out their weakness. He looked at the group that he was fighting. There had to be some way to compensate for the slow down...or maybe there wasn't. Maybe...

Round twelve kicked off with the beast running straight towards Sal and the two shamblers just firing off all of their spikes at once at him. This was annoying. He swiftly dodged out of the way of all of them and went in for his counter attack. He ran towards the shamblers and then when he noticed the earth aura beast run towards him he did something crazy. He stopped and ducked. The beast jumped over him, by mistake, and ended landing in front of the spikes. Unfortunately the beast was not skewered from it, the spikes had stopped magically, but hey, at least Sal wasn't dead. The beast swiftly turned around, but got hit in the face by Sal's fist. He was starting to go at a much faster speed than before to try and kill this thing as fast as angelically possible. He was given a short reprieve from the stabbing as the shamblers had to reorient themselves.

In the end, the beast fell to Sal's fists, but the shamblers were firing spike after spike at him now. Suddenly they were going in rapid succession of stabbing at him. Dear lord these things were going fast. Oh well, Sal was able to continuously dodge the two, but it took more effort to do so. Oh well. Eventually he got in close enough to just punch through both of them and kill the two shamblers. With that over and done with, round twelve was finished.
Sal was now waiting around for what he thought was the third to last round. He was certainly going to make it that way if it wasn't. He'd file a complaint to Zachariel. So what he did was simply wait around for the next batch of enemies to show up. It was going to be a difficult battle no doubt, but he would totally win it. And there came the contestants right now. Forming from wisps of darkness came two beast type shadow beings. Well this seemed oddly eas- okay they both earth auras. That was certainly different. Certainly, very, very different. Oh well. It was go time for the portuguese man. Go time.

So round thirteen started off with the two beasts charging at him. This was going to be quite bad right now if he had to just dodge around the attack and get into fighting this stupid beast. Really this was just a filler round so Sal wanted to get this done with as fast and easily as possible. He continued to dodge until he found his usual openings on the beast's head. Granted those openings were constantly being closed by the other one looming over as a threat. Sal needed a work around of this. Thankfully he did find it.

Sal ended up hitting them both in the head at the same time and went into a continuous stream of punches on either of the heads of the beasts. Eventually this plan yielded its results and the two were slayed quite convincingly. With that out of the way, round thirteen was done. Quite the filler round that probably could've been expanded upon if Skyheart wasn't feeling like "hey, laptop, get your **** together!"
Here it was. The penultimate round. One Sal was probably going to lose because he's been having an even trade of wins to losses. So he was expecting something pretty awful from Zachariel. And interesting did certainly happen. Out from the water ground formed the shadow beings. One shadow type, one shambler type, and one beast type. Sal was thinking that they could prove to be a challenge, sure, but didn't think they'd be the hardest thing in the world to beat. That's when his opinion of the entire fight to be changed. One by one, their eyes changed colors, and one by one, their bodies emanated a glow. The three all had the earth aura and lord only knows how this could go.

Round fourteen started with both the shadow and the beast charging at him. Sal barely dodged the shadow's blow, as it was still faster than him, and then had to react accordingly to the blow from the beast. Not receiving any damage yet, Sal was then surprised by the attack of the shambler. The attack seemed to be much more dangerous than he was expecting it to be, as it did cut him, but the cut was a much deeper than it should've been from the given attack. Apparently the earth aura was terrifying when anything used it. He tried to sprint towards the shambler but so many things went wrong when he did that it was just a horrible loss.

First, the shadow had not let him go without any sort of struggle. In fact, it hit him pretty hard in the back. Much harder than any shadow type should. It was like getting punched by a beast type. Not to mention while he was off balance, the shambler kept cutting into him, making the problem all the worse. And to ice the cake and put the cherry on top, Sal got punched in the spine by the beast type. Instant K.O. So yeah, overall, Sal lost that penultimate round pretty hard.
The final round was getting prepped for in a very painful way. Sal was not liking the healing any bit more than he usually did. It was truly agonizing, but hey, he got his body back safe and sound. As he picked himself off the ground he thought about this. It was going to be pretty god damn hard to beat some beasts like these. He had to have a well thought out plan that would take them all out. Granted, they were all equally terrifying to fight as the earth aura made them all ridiculously hard hitters. Oh well. Sal would just have to do his best, and out speed these creatures. If he couldn't use his speed to win, then there was no way he was going to. Spitting a tooth into the water ground (which then regrew) Sal was ready for round fifteen to get underway.

The beast and shadow started their charged as usual and Sal was thinking about who he should take down first. The shambler was definitely the biggest threat, but the shadow was definitely no pushover either. As such, Sal dodged out of the way of the shadow and the beast, With them out of the way he kept dodging the attacks of the shambler. That's when he did it. Exactly the same thing as last time. He sprinted full force towards the shambler. Sal started avoiding the attacks of the shambler and then basically thought up his plan on the spot. All the steps. All of 'em.

Sal ran and jumped swiftly to the side, avoiding the shadow and causing it to miss. The thing took longer than before which meant Sal must've been going faster. Next, he continued to avoid the shambler's attacks, and left the beast pretty much in the dust. When he finally closed in on the shambler it was an interesting battle. Sal instantly hit the deck and slid into the shambler. This caused the shadow to miss him, again, and knocked the shambler off balance. Sal quickly picked himself up and kicked the shambler, killing it. With that out of the way, Sal went full speed and killed the shadow only to be left with the beast, who was easy pickings. When all three of them were dead, they all converged and became one large orb. From it, a larger golden orb than last time was formed. Sal touched and absorbed the orb, and thus ended his dream world.

After that rough sequence of events had happened, Sal woke up feeling groggy and felt that the timing on this was completely unwarranted. It was only later in the night, so he still had time to go to bed, so he did. He fell right back asleep and hopefully wouldn't be plagued by another shit storm of fights.[DOUBLEPOST=1383539924][/DOUBLEPOST]The majority of the zombies had fallen to the fallen when all was said and done. Brandon had been super gung ho about taking them on. He was all about that lightning killing all of the zombies all over the place. Between his sword and lightning powers the entire horde never stood a chance. Though it wasn't like Brandon was the only one who did jack against all of these zombies. Everyone had their moment of killing zombies...if ya know they wanted to. Brandon wasn't going to name any specifics because Skyheart wasn't entirely sure which fallen angels would kill zombies and which wouldn't, but those that wanted to certainly did. Eventually they all got on their plane ride out of London and flew all the way to good old Russia. Once on there, Brandon fell asleep and simply snoozed the rest of the plane ride.

Brandon and the gang were simply going around, getting the swords for the other angels proved to be quite easy task. There were only four...or five of them that needed getting to their respective angels. Brandon was still confused about which ones, but he just went along with it. Though Lion needed him to go and grab another sword, and get a sword he did. Apparently the name of this sword was Raziel, or something like that. He pocketed the wand and then moved on to get Selaphiel's sword (at least that's what he was thinking Relius's angel name was pronounced) and pocketed that one as well. Finally, he moved on to get Zatch Bell's sword and had all of the ones who weren't there, accounted for. Now they apparently had to go and get a move on or else they'd be zombie bait. (Note: Selaphiel and Raziel are actually Sariel and Raphael.)

Brandon jumped for joy as the prospect of getting his fight on with these zombies opened up. He drew Vis Vis and started to electrocute it. The gang was getting ready to go in and get a fighting on. So Brandon jumped in there and started hacking his way clear through the swarm after swarm of zombies. Man, he remembered when these things used to be like, survival horror to him, but now that he had a sword. Bam. Non stop action game right here.

The compass was pointing northwest. There was also a good chance that the angel in question was tearing the place up. Well that was a bit of a problem. Sal simply clapped his hands together, and said "well let's go then." As such the gang started to follow the compass all the way through the extremely frigid city. What he wouldn't give for the ability to make fire. But what would be the odds of him having fire powers. There was probably only one, tops, angel that could use fire and Sal was pretty sure that he wouldn't be that one singular angel. Oh well. The gang eventually made it through the frigid city and find where the compass was pointing to.

It was quite the scene going on there really. The asian angel possessed girl was causing quite the scene here. It was a fish market and there were fish littering the ground everywhere. People looked terrified and the angel was almost definitely the cause of it. Sal didn't really do much, but calmly he walked over to her and said, "Hay Sun, we've come to make sure that you don't kill yourself."

Richard was getting bored and slightly tired of trying to convince this man. He seemed to not think that they were interesting and it was starting to become too much of a bother for him to actually want to continue this recruitment schpeel. Granted, the interesting things that Adam had tried to convince Regulus with seemed counter productive. And it didn't even seem like all of the interesting things that were actually interesting. Like the swords and the fact that they had magical superpowers like fire and being able to do...whatever it was Adam did. He wasn't entirely sure what it was that Adam's power was, but it seemed interesting enough.

Regulus went on to talk about how he was doing some new experiment thing and how it was actually...fatherhood. Well, Richard did not entirely feel like this was the normal kind of fatherhood. If anything, this guy was probably planning some sick experiment with his child or something, but Richard didn't entirely feel like asking. Meanwhile, "Fatherhood...?" Adam was totally gung ho to learn more about this experiment thing. Oh well. Guess he'd just have to wait and see what Regulus was talking about.

Dennis[/url] woke up that morning feeling really weird. He looked around and saw that it was morning time. Then he looked at the date and noticed something really weird. It was two days later from when he went to bed. Was he actually asleep for all of yesterday? Jeez, how did he manage that. Then again, he had this weird dream that seemed pretty long. It involved him having to do an arbitrary amount of fighting all because of the whimsy of some being wanted him to so he could get stronger, and he couldn't leave until he won. Man, that was quite the dream. Oh well he was awake now and had a whole days worth of things to catch up on. Actually, he had this odd feeling that he didn't really miss much yesterday. Weird.

Dennis walked around and saw a magazine just lying around. He flipped through it and read an interesting article on the founder of the resort. Apparently the dude was some big medical firm owner who simply opened up a beach resort out of whimsy or something. He was a Doctor G. and apparently had long red hair...or was it short. These pictures were kind of inconsistent. There was also an article about knives right after that. This was a weird magazine. Throwing it away in the trash Dennis went down to his true destination. It was the pool.

Dennis enjoyed pools. They were a good place to swim and not nearly as deadly as the ocean was. And boy Dennis did not enjoy his deadly oceans. Setting up a chair by throwing his towel on it, Dennis stripped down to a bathing suit and jumped into the pool. After feeling the water rush through him, he swam all the way back to the top. It was a nice morning right now, and he didn't want to get into swimming just yet. So instead he merely lie there in the water, on his back.

Apparently Regulus had not been expecting them to return at all. Really Richard wasn't expecting it either. He was pretty content with the way things had ended and it seemed like the guy had no interest of joining. Oh well. He was part of this recruitment group so he'd have to try and recruit the **** out of him...or something like that. All he knew was that it was just going to be one large bother. One that he could not simply nap away. Though the man was curious as to why the group was split up. "Yeah, we split up our group to do all the things on our agenda more efficiently." With that explanation out of the way Richard figured that he should get right into the thick of their purpose for being at this man's house. "The reason we're here now is because we're simply trying to get you to join us. Now then, you said yesterday that you had neither the intrigue nor desire to join our group. Could you elaborate?"

Sal opened his eyes to see that he was once again in the dream world of his. Same blue sky, same white clouds, same water like ground. He had remembered that last time he was here Zachariel had talked about how there were three auras he had to acquire. Seeing as he had already acquired both Sun and Earth, he was positive that the next one was going to be healing. Well that was certainly going to be a fun one to have. Then again, thinking about all the healing he had been through already...well it was certainly going to be a power he'd have to get used to. Sal's thoughts were interrupted by the usual color shift to mean that it was battle time.
Sal continued to stand there until he saw a wisp of darkness plume out of the water ground as per the norm. The beast, however, was not in anyway a normal thing to fight. It looked pretty thin and was swaying back and forth. Sal wasn't entirely sure how this thing would work as opposed to the others so far. The first beast he fought was strong and the second one he fought was fast. So what exactly could this one be. Unlike all the others who charged at him to begin the round, though, this one simply shambled towards him.

Sal kind of didn't know what to do. He was expecting some sort of gimmick to this odd mess of an enemy who didn't seem in the least bit threatening. So Sal only really had one choice as to what he should do. He walked towards the shambler, cautiously and slowly and but eventually stopped. Sal continued to watch the shambler make its way towards him and until the distance between them was significantly less.

Sal really had no idea how to respond to this thing until it finally got close enough to his to do physical attacks. It brought up its arm, albeit with what looked like significant effort, and brought it down on Sal. With the attack connected....absolutely nothing happened. It was kind of pitiful actually. Sal brought up his fist and punched the shambler flew back and dissipated. Well that was...different.
Sal was pretty confused as to what he had just fought. That had to be, easily, the weakest of three enemies types he had fought so far. Simply because it did...nothing. The wisps started to come back and Sal looked at the shambler once more. He didn't know how this was supposed to help him any. Was it just like, an off period? Regardless he stepped over to approach the shambler. This thing was certainly going to be the easiest thing Sal had fought up to this point. He got ready to take the thing out and closed the distance between him and the shambler.

The shambler was different, though, this time. As Sal approached it, He noticed something different about its body structure. There were points on the wispy body that seemed to be...bulging? Sal slowed his pace down as he got close to the shambler. He then immediately felt pain in his cheek and didn't really get why until he noticed something in his peripheral. There was a black spike that had scratched his face right next to him. He looked down and noticed there was that spike protruding from the shambler. Three more came out of it, one for each limb, and shot at Sal. He instinctively dodged two of them, but his leg got nicked by the fourth one.

He started to back off from the thing seeing the spike recede back into his wispy body. Sal ran in trying to get in as fast as possible, but the four spikes shot out in an instant at him. He was able to dodge three again, but this time the fourth one had stabbed through his leg. To counter this, he uppercut the shambler killing it instantly before it could go for another attack.
Sal was now positive that this was going to prove to be the most difficult of three enemy types he's fought so far. The thing was quite different in terms of how it fought simply because it stabbed him as opposed to punching him. He could only imagine how things were going to escalate in further rounds. Zachariel was a mean one, that she was. Sal saw the wisps meaning it was time to go and fight this enemy once more. Round three was bound to be more interesting than any of the other rounds so far, that was for sure.

The shambler started to do its shambling thing and move towards Sal. Sal had no idea what was going to be different about the thing this time, though if he had to imagine, he'd say it was going to have more spikes than before. That was going to be a problem. Sal continued to keep his distance until he felt loose enough that he was confident in his ability to dodge the spikes from the shambler. As such he started his run towards it.

Upon moving towards the shambler, he was met with a response of four spikes being shot at him. Knowing this was probably coming, Sal dodged the four only to be met by eight more. He had managed to dodge three, and four of them has only grazed him. However the fifth one was stuck in his arm. To get rid of Sal simply hit the spike causing the spike to retract. With that out of the way, Sal managed to punch and kill the thing before its 11 spikes could actually hit him.
Sal was pretty surprised by how well that last round went. His reflexes must've been getting much sharper with all the other training so far that he had been able to effectively dodge all the spikes last round. This round too was probably going to rely more on his dodging skills. Last thing he wanted to have happen was get skewered and killed. Even though he was pretty sure he wouldn't die here. If anything that'd just cause him to wake up. Regardless of these odd thoughts, the shambler started to reform so Sal knew that he had to take it on for round four.

The shambler seemed to pick up the pace this time and shamble faster than usual towards Sal. He saw this as both a blessing and a curse since now he wouldn't have as long of a wait in order to get into the action, but now he would obviously have less time to think on these attacks. Regardless the shambler was making its way over and Sal decided to meet the thing head on.

Rushing towards the shambler the first four spikes shot out, which he easily evaded. Next were the eight spikes. Not able to get out of unscathed, Sal did get damaged from them, but no stab wounds or the like to be reported. Next the shambler did its new thing. Sal was expecting it to shoot out more spikes but it did the exact opposite. It retracted all twelve of them at once. Then, it shot out all twelve at once towards him. Not expecting that, Sal dodged three, was grazed by six and stabbed by three. Coughing out blood as he had been pierced in the lung, Sal gritted his teeth and pressed onward. He broke the three spikes lodged in him and punched the shambler, killing it instantly.
Having sustained three stab wounds, this was the first time in a while that Sal actually felt the regeneration process happen. It wasn't any less painful than he had remembered but hey, his wounds were gone. He figured this was the power he was going to get from this fight, albeit to a much more minor scale than what presumably Zachariel was using. Granted in order to get that he needed to fight and beat this thing six more times. Uh this sure was going to be a pain to type. The shambler reformed itself and was ready to take on Sal for round five. Well this was going to fun.

Sal and the shambler started advancing towards at the same pace, seeing as Sal realized that all the prep time in the world wasn't going to help him dodge these attacks any better. As such when he got in close to the thing, he instinctively dodged the first four coming at him. The next eight were still difficult to evade, but he only managed to be grazed by two this time. Now here came the twelve, which he simply jumped back to avoid. Now here came the new gimmick.

The shambler simply advanced towards Sal and he got ready to dodge the next attack. The next attack being a single spike being shot towards him. He easily dodged it and then noticed that two more were coming out. With that out of the way, three more came followed by five and then a final one. Sal had barely been dodging these getting scratches from all of them in the process. The shambler then retracted the spikes and started firing them off once more. Two, three, four, one, two. He had ended up getting stabbed by the third to last one and in turn the last two managed to get him as well. Thankfully, he was close enough to simply punch the thing out and kill it.
Sal realized just how dangerous this thing was becoming. Once it started going off of a set pattern, the thing became infinitely harder to avoid the attacks. Whatever. He'd just have to continue to react and adapt in order to win. This was going to get rougher, he knew, but he had to handle it in order to go and finalize the basics of his powers. The wisps started to come and the shambler reformed. It was going to be go time and he was going to have go and beat this thing five more times. Round six was going to get underway.

Sal advanced towards the shambler but noticed something was off about it. The shambler wasn't actually moving towards him. Instead, he just stood there, not shambling at all. Sal was wary of this as it meant something was probably going to happen. And that something was going to be horrible. His suspicion was confirmed by the sudden spike that shot out of him. This one seemed to stretch out like some weird sort of projectile. He wasn't expecting it so his reaction time off, but he still managed to avoid the brunt of the stab. This was going to be quite difficult to get around.

The spike retracted back to the shambler and Sal took the opportunity to rush the shambler down. He was met with the long range spike again on his way there, but was able to more easily dodge it. After that Sal got up to the thing and it started stabbing at him with an irregular pattern. He kept avoiding the stabs until the twelve were finally out. He went in for one straight punch and killed the thing almost instantly.
Round seven was totally going to be more dangerous than the last round. Simply because there were probably going to be more spikes shooting at him from a long range. Sal had to be ready to dodge and persevere through any of the pain he was going to be met with. It was going to be difficult but Sal was faced down with no other choice. Not to mention if he didn't win then he would most likely be stuck in here for a longer period of time. That was going to be a pain. The shambler started to form from the wisps and Sal knew that this was going to be a much more difficult fight than before.

The round started off with Sal advancing towards the shambler as fast as he could. The faster he got to him the easier it would be to end this. However whilst he was running the shambler had different ideas for Sal. He fired off four long range spikes towards Sal. He had dodged two of the spikes, and was hit by two more, stumbling him a bit. The spikes ended up retracting and Sal regained his composure and continued his dash towards the shambler. However the shambler continued his long range barrage. This was turning south fast.

Eventually Sal made it to the shambler, covered in cuts all over his body, and began to go in for the kill. This time the shambler went back to its regular rhythm of four spikes, eight spikes and then twelve spikes. He had managed to dodge all of these relatively easily and then went in for the kill only to be met with twenty spikes firing off all at once. Sal could only dodge half of them, getting stabbed through by five of them and cut by five eithers. He could barely move forward until the spikes retracted. He was going to fall, and as he was doing so, he punched the shambler in the leg. The leg disappeared causing the shambler to fall and making its spikes go all over the place. When Sal had finally fallen, he uppercut the shambler, from the ground, and killed it. Ending the round.
Sal had to pick himself up first, coughing up blood on his way up, so that he could stand up. He felt Zachariel's lovely healing on him as he got back up and just couldn't wait to get that power for himself. The sarcasm in his thoughts was visible...like really he could see a giant sign that said sarcasm. He was in his mind after all. All of that aside, round eight had to get underway so he could get out of this hell. The shambler reformed itself and the fight was about to get underway.

Round eight started with the shambler giving no ****s and just shooting off 10 spikes right off the bat towards Sal. Well that was a dick move. Sal wiggled and wormed his way around the spikes and actually managed to avoid them all. The shambler retracted them all and Sal took the opportunity to advance. While he was advancing the shambler fired them off once more and Sal had trouble dodging them all. It was quite awful really. He kept getting hit by each barrage of spikes and was having to slow down tremendously to make sure he didn't get run through.

Eventually though, he did make it to the shambler, albeit with one useless arm. He had ended up using that arm to defend against most of the spikes coming in. As such it lay limp at his side as he charge forward. The shambler then switched back into its close range barrage mode. Sal had tried to dodge it as best as he continued forward. Unfortunately, twenty spikes and one dead weight arm was really dragging him down. Regardless Sal muscled through and was able to get stabbed eight times, twice in the lung, once in the stomach, before he finally punched the shambler into oblivion.
Sal collapsed on the ground. This was getting worse and worse as each passing round. And he still had two to go. His arm was the first thing to heal, but when it did, he felt all the agony associated with it. God this healing was just some really sick form of torture. Sal began to relate with Prometheus. Granted he wasn't getting his innards eaten by a bird, but having his body battered constantly was probably a close second. Regardless the penultimate round was beginning with the shambler reforming, getting ready to release more and more spikes towards Sal.

It was go time, and the thing started firing off one spike. That was a pretty small amount given everything else. However the spike instantly retracted after being evaded. Another one almost immediately shot out and tried to kill him. Sal kept running forward and was noticing that this thing was not relenting with the spikes shot. Not to mention the closer he got the faster it became. The faster it became, well the harder it was to dodge. Sal was getting hit every which was from the attack and stumbled a bit before he finally closed in on the shambler.

The shambler simply fired off spike after spike in similar fashion to just being long range. He had to think on his feet and quickly sway back and forth like Akihiko from Persona Four Arena, to dodge all the attacks. He was constantly getting hit by attack after attack until he finally was able to dodge all of them and throw in a punch. With the punch underway, the shambler ended up stabbing Sal five times, all in vital areas, before finally falling dead.
Here it was. The final round. Round ten. Sal had felt the regeneration process take place and was getting ready to get back into this fight. He stood up, ready to bring this beast down. The shambler reformed itself and was getting ready to beat the **** out of Sal. Sal was all ready to bring it down. No more prep work. No more preliminary rounds. And this was it. The poster was finally here, at the end, and he was mostly just filling in space for the first paragraph because he wrote this all in one day. Skyheart bro, you're pretty crazy. Anyway, Roundo ten....FIGHTO!!!!!

The shambler began with just a good old continuous barrage of spikes similar to the last round. Only this time there were seven spikes instead of one. Seven spikes, all in rapid succession. All just stabbing at him repeatedly. Sal had to run in a very slow fashion, almost jogging really, in order to avoid all of the spikes. The shambler was shredding Sal up and Sal was beginning to feel it. His body wanted to give out on him, but nevertheless, he continued running towards the thing until finally he was up in its face.

Rather than stabbing at him repeatedly, this time, the shambler stopped the stabbing altogether. Instead if sort of buckled in and fired spikes off every which direction. Sal was completely taken off guard by this area of effect blast, and he was getting mutilated by it. When the spikes retracted, Sal fell down. He couldn't get back up, not with all the stab wounds that last attack had inflicted. No. He could get up. He mustered all the strength he could and delivered one final punch to the shambler, killing it instantly. With the shambler finally down and out, the shadows became one big orb that eventually turned into a green and white orb. Sal touched the orb and his dream world faded away.

Sal woke up after sleeping through the plane ride. Man, Zachariel sure had a terrible method of killing time. Oh well, he had acquired rank one of all three of his auras. That was a plus. Regardless, the plane had eventually landed in Siberia and the three of them were supposed to be on the outlook for Hay Sun...er Uriel. It was a good thing Zachariel promised to never take over his body. At least that's how he remembered it. She wasn't into that whole, giving power that isn't earned. Those training sessions were more than enough proof of that.

Regardless of that the unlikely party of Hana, Joslyn and Sal all stepped off the plane in order to find their angel friend. Sal only came along because out of all the angels Hay Sun was one of the few he had actually spent time with. Albeit that was time in Rome confronted by a dark angel, but time nonetheless. Not to mention this would be quality time with a more focused group. The smaller the groups the better the connections became. Joslyn came along, for what he could only assume as, dependence upon Hana. Oh well."So then, guess we should go and start our grand hunt for our female asian Angel friend. Which way does the compass point?"

With...one of them taking charge, really it didn't matter, the gang went on to the vault. It was quite the perilous journey, but through thick and thin, the gang had eventually made it to the warehouse vault thing. There were zombies on the way, yeah, but they were no match for the combined might of...well the people with swords. As such the gang simply stopped and waited around for everyone to get their respective swords.

Sal was awoken by the silent man. Kai was not the first person he would've thought to wake everyone up. In fact usually Sal was one of the earlier risers. Not like last night had been particularly draining. Maybe he just slept longer because his body was like "yo dawg. Sleep, I got dis." If that were true then his body sounded really weird. Regardless Kai had shoved a paper in Sal's face telling him to meet downstairs in the lobby because...Hana...said so...There were a few holes in this request, at least Sal thought so, but regardless he'd go downstairs and meet up with everyone. As such he got himself up and outta bed, dressed and ready to go for the day. Having an awkward time in the elevator with Richard and Brandon, seeing as Sal calmly stood there, Richard looked tired, and Brandon was bouncing with energy, the gang eventually made it downstairs and into the lobby. Apparently Kai had shoved a paper in everyones face to tell them where to go. Sal looked around seeing everyone and then turned his attention towards Hana. She seemed ready to say something so Sal didn't want to ask the obvious question and just waited for her explanation about what they were here for.

Sal simply shrugged at the man's response and nonchalantly said, "very well then. I suppose I can't force you to join if you don't want to. But, thanks for listening regardless Mr. Regulus." Sal looked at the time. It was getting pretty late, "so we should probably be heading off now, would hate to be intruding on you any longer."

Even though Sal was ready to go, a certain enthusiastic tennis playing boy was not. "Oh come on man," Brandon had started talking. "You should totally join us. I mean, being with us is just oodles of fun. Between killing zombie demon people and just traveling the world, it's a great time. Not to mention we all get our own magic swords," he drew out Vis Vis to show it, "and we all get to grow our powers faster than if we were just alone." For some reason both Sal and Richard felt like this was not true. "But yeah, if you join us, you also get to be safe from all the beings that want to kill the fallen angels, and demons. Lots of demons. So whadda ya say?" Brandon had flashed a winning smile at Regulus.

Sal simply put his hand on Brandon's shoulder and said, "Brandon you can stop now. Though the kid does make some valid points. If you change your mind at all about joining us then be sure to give us a call." Sal looked around for paper and pen that he could use, but Brandon just threw his jacket off and simply slashed his phone number into the jacket. "That's the number to call. Anyway, goodbye Regulus."

With that the group left Regulus's place in search of an area to stay for the night. When they came to a hotel, Sal, Brandon and Richard all went off to their respective rooms and slept the night away.

"Yes, yes, the thing that makes us special." Well this man seemed quite ready to learn about this situation they were in. He had wondered if the others were as willing to listen to this explanation as Regulus, and admittedly Sal himself were. "So we are all humans who possess a second soul within our bodies. That second soul belonging to that of a fallen angel. The angel then provides its "host" so to speak, with diluted versions of its own abilities and physically the "host's" body tends to be more able than that of a non-angel. Essentially our goal at the moment is to simply find the fallen angels who are scattered around the world and prepare ourselves to stop the oncoming apocalypse. I know it sounds crazy but there really is no easier way to explain it without sounding that way. Though I suppose what really matters is what your thoughts on this are. So care to share them?"

Sal stood around and watched as the scene between Samuel and the Mannequin unfolded. The fact that Samuel was that gung ho about beating shit up, that might cause a slight teamwork problem between him and everyone else. Oh well, that wasn't entirely relevant at the moment. What was, though, was the man who presented himself as the master of the mannequin. What an interesting person he seemed to be. Though he was entirely right, the gang was rather rude to not introduce themselves first. Regardless this Regulus person seemed oddly inviting of them.

The gang ended up walking into a kitchen sort of area and sat down. The man was offering snacks, but Sal was not ready to accept them just yet. While normally he'd eat just about anything, the hospitality of a man with a blade arm automated mannequin seemed rather weird to discern. He simply said, "thank you Regulus. My name is Salvatore, though Sal is fine, and me and my companions here have a certain topic we'd like to discuss with you. It's about all these strange things in the world going on and how you are different from the average person, ya know, other than the unique security system you own."

He listened to all that had happened and his suspicions about Cherry Red being involved were indeed confirmed. She seemed to be beating herself up about it. Beating herself really hard. This was not good, not good at all. Then she simply ended with apologizing for barging in on him and saying how he was having such a fun time and that she shouldn't have tried to drop this on him. Well that was no good either. Evan simply gave her a smile and said, "silly Ria, I'm always having fun. So it's no problem to try and help a friend out, especially because it's fun when they're feeling all better." He looked around and realized this was probably causing a major scene, and the last thing the girl in hysterics needed was to have all the attention focused on her. As such Evan picked her over to the towel he had set up. "Now let's go back and get you dry."

Wrapping Ria up in his towel he proceed to walk with her back to the hotel and all the way to the room. "Now then, I think you should get to bed and have a good nights rest. Trust me, things'll start looking up for you Ria. You're a good person and I'm thinking stuffs gonna start getting good. After all this is a beach resort, the place where magic happens." He looked away for a second, pensive, saying distantly "or was that Niagara falls?" He snapped his focus back to Ria. "Point is, things'll probably be better now, especially because all the bottled up feelings are now out there. But if you ever need me to talk to or vent on, just come and fine me. Good night Ria." Evan left her, kind of forgetting that he was still half naked and that she had his towel, and went to his room. Not wanting to really distrub the air that was going on between Cherry Red and Bossman, he simply sat outside the room and fell asleep like an easily forgettable boy who had a crush on a pink haired lady once did.

Meanwhile, Dennis was confused and unsure of what to do. Like, Pierce just started turning into a machine gun of goods. That was rather, unsettling. He was wondering if he had accidentally broke her or something, but didn't really want to interrupt. Then she said it was super late and time for bed. In the middle of the day. Then she just bolted off out of there faster than a zebra running from a lion. Dennis looked back to where she had been sitting and realized that her book...it was lying there. Oh dear lord. The options here were very black and white and he was forced to pick one of the two. Take it....or leave it. He really did not want to read that book and really did not want to be seen holding it. Like, dear god, he might die a little on the inside if someone caught him with that. However, he couldn't just leave her book....in the sand. Mustering all the willpower he could, he reached in and grabbed the book, only to instantly wrap it up in a towel so no one would see it at all.

Having nothing left to do on the beach, and wanting to get the book out of his possession as fast as possible, he decided to go return it to its owner. He walked all the way over to where they were staying, prepared himself for the hand off, and knocked on the door. "Uh, Pierce. You in there? You uh, left something at the beach."

He waited for a bit and then the door slightly opened. While she hadn't opened it much he could still see her extremely red face. God this was just so awkward. At that moment for some reason he thought that some gentlemanly figures heart was exploding with envy, but that was neither here nor there. "Um, th-thanks Dennis."

"Uh, yeah. No problem. Here you go." He looked around for a bit before unwrapping the booking and extending it out to her. She then took the book slowly from his hands and he felt like a very sitcom related weight had just been lifted. After the exchange he said, "Well, good night Pierce. Um, see you later."

"Y-yeah, thanks again. Night Dennis." With that awkward moment out of the way, Dennis gave a wave and walked away to get to his own room. Once there he simply dove into bed and did not know what had actually happened. His day went from so mellow to completely awkwardly confusing that he was just sort of feeling weird about everything. If there was one thing he was sure of, it was that he had no idea how he felt about today. With all the commotion out of the way he simply fell asleep waiting for the new day.

After the question had been asked Pierce started to seem a bit...odd. Her eyes widened and her face seemed to turn extremely red. She was either really embarrassed or had some serious sun burn problem. Her gaze eventually met his own and she finally seemed like she was going to answer him."Ah, um ... Well you see ... It's - it's ..." she seemed to be stammering to find the answer to this. "OvercomingCripplingAnxieties: TheDiaryofRapeVictims." Oh....EEEHHHHHHHHHH?! Dennis had absolutely no idea how to respond to this. At all. Was it a joke? Probably just some odd Pierce humor. She then showed him the cover of the book. It was not a joke. "It ah, it was a g - gift about um, rape victims ... that ah, overcome cri - crippling anxieties...." Wait was Pierce...? Did she get...? "Oliver gave it to me for my bir - birthday." That was some gift!

Dennis just kind of sat there. Speechless. Because honestly this situation was totally not what he was expecting at all. He too was wide eyed now and could not find the words to say at all. Either Pierce was...yeah, or she was into reading this kind of stuff. He hoped it was the latter. Every time he tried to form a response to her, the words simply would not form. "How's um, the band? He ah, went with you as the drummer, r - right? I said you sh - should be the drummer." Oh thank the lord a topic change.

"Uh, y-yeah, yeah I am. Uh, um, th-thanks for recommending m-me." He gave her a shaky thumbs up. The whole rape victim book was still throwing him completely off. "But, uh, um, yeah, the band thing. Been going uh, pretty, uh, pretty well. We haven't practiced recently what with having been um, well, locked in our houses, but um, uh, yeah." More topic changes were required here. "So, uh, how have you been doing recently?"

Sal simply sat around and saw as Adam and Joslyn came into the lobby. For some reason Adam seemed to think that Joslyn was someone who had died. Oh, well that clearly only meant one thing. The little British boy did not listen to him at all yesterday. Wonderful, that only meant that his sleep deprivation was that much worse in severity. As he grabbed onto Joslyn she started to have some sort of a nervous breakdown. Clearly someone touching her set off a flag. A rather amazing flag at that. Because then she started punching Adam in the gut, a lot. Like holy shit it was pretty awesome to watch. She simply slapped him away and than started strangling him. Quite the way to drive a point home to a delusional person. Sal simply sat back with a smile on his face as Adam grew limp and passed out....hopefully he wasn't dead. That'd be rather unfortunate. Meanwhile Brandon was a bit wide eyed at the situation, though never once missing the tennis ball he was dribbling and Richard....was asleep.

After that was over with Sal walked over to the girl and patted her on the back. "Good job, couldn't have done it better myself. Though, I think it's alright to let him go now." When she did let him go, and look rather horrified at what she had just done, Sal's body glowed green and blue for a brief moment as he picked Adam up off the floor and slung him across his shoulder. "And that's why sleep is always important kiddos."

9 HOURS LATER ON A FAIRLY MOMENTOUS DRIVE THROUGH RUSSIA, FILLED WITH EXCITEMENT, PERIL, VODKA, AND MORE VODKA
    (But actually 9 Hours later)
The gang had been able to rent a car for use throughout Russia and was now going underway on their grand expedition to find wherever the compass was actually pointing to this time. There were still more fallen angels to be found, apparently, and they'd find this one who was just chilling out in Russia. Eventually their compass ended up pointing them to an abandoned building, and as such, the gang got out of the car and ready to go. They left Adam behind because he was, well, passed out, and made their way to the building where the angel apparently was.

Evan was talking around with Scarlet when she asked him if he was always this stoked. Was he always this stoked? Well that was quite the dumb question coming from this red head. Yes indeed it was. Evan was stoked about everything....everything. Except for well, the things he wasn't stoked about. One of them being the sound of a distraught now brown haired girl who was a friend to him. This could only be bad. He bid goodbye to Scarlet and made his way over to Ria through the ocean. She looked like absolute shit. Like, really bad.

Evan walked up to her and picked her up. He honestly had no idea what he was supposed to do in this situation. All that he could figure was that the most likely cause of her sudden distraught-ness was related to Cherry Red. He felt a bit stupid for leaving her and him unwatched so he could have mediated any blowout between the two. Now he was in this really bad situation, situation Cobra. Cobra meaning the moment when the emotional climax of these two had finally peaked, (the Cobra had nothing to do with the plan at all.) All of his usual comfort methods would probably prove to be pretty useless in this situation. Not to mention swimming was out of the question since he never recalled her once doing any of the good old swimming stuff.

He simply started to pat her on the back and hug her for comfort. "It's okay now, I'm here for you. Just tell me everything that's got your mood down." It was really all he could manage in this situation.[DOUBLEPOST=1383005612][/DOUBLEPOST]Dennis was busy just chilling on the beach, not really too much to be done there. Though while usually something like this would be perceived as boring, Dennis quite enjoyed the little bit of peace and quiet in the outdoor time he had. It was quite the nice change of pace from the....absolutely nothing post worthy he had been doing these past days. Regardless he was simply lying around when someone had walked near him. He looked up to see it was good old Pierce. She took a seat near him and gave him a slight wave, to which he simply waved back as well. She pulled out a book and started reading it and gave him a smile saying "hi Dennis."

"Hi there Pierce." The mostly shy girl's eyes immediately dropped back to the pages she was reading in her book. For some reason Pierce reminded him of some girl in a story who had long white hair and could talk to spirits, or something like that, but that was neither here nor there. He figured that he should at least follow up with something, since she did greet him an all. "So what's the book your reading about?"

He kind of interested in what the book was, since he did need to get back into reading things that weren't just on the computer one of these days. And seeing as how she was so in to the book that she was reading, it had to be some kind of a good read. He could always go with recommendations.

The man, the myth, the legend. The very unimposing, unnoticeable, extremely forgettable and always not relevant, Dennis Baker. He had been rather quiet on the bus the whole way here, not really having any attention payed towards him at all. But that was just the way he liked it when it came to long stretches of travel. Conversing with others could get pretty awkward once the initial five minutes of pleasantries were done with. He was kind of wondering why he even came here. As far as continuity goes, the plague should be happening right about now and he should be a recluse, locked away in his own apartment. Nevertheless, non-existent plot dictated that he be here and as such he was. Dennis ended up getting to his room just fine, and didn't really make a noise while he was there. Granted no one else was really too boisterous while he was there either. Dennis just got his gear together and set out for the beach...because why not, he didn't have much else to do here.

As Dennis was walking through the lobby he accidentally bumped into a white haired woman and immediately apologized. She said it was quite alright but he still felt bad nonetheless. Not to mention he got her dog a bit riled up. It looked like a pretty mean dog too, but after a few sweet words from the white haired woman the dog seemed to calm down. She told him that she was sorry for her dog, Adam's, behavior. Apparently he used to be quite the rebellious one, and after some training from her, he was supposed to be rather docile and conforming to what she said. Dennis simply bid the white haired woman fair well after their short exchange and headed down to the beach.

After a little walk later, he got to the beach and spread out his beach towel. He looked around and saw everybody doing there own kind of thing. Were Dennis any kind of out going guy maybe he would actually try and go up to some of these classmates to have fun with them. Granted the people from school were Seraphina and Evan, and Dennis did not want to deal with Evan; Julius and some rather attractive adult who he didn't know, and that seemed like adult time; and Elissa, who Dennis could not possibly hope to match her amazingly bubbly personality. Not to mention she'd probably be hanging around with the twins again, and Dennis did not want to act like a fourth wheel on that tricycle. Instead he simply followed the lead of the blue haired man on a towel nearest to him and laid down on his own towel. Granted he did not go to sleep like the blue haired man, but simply just laid there soaking in the sun.

Evan was having a merry old time. He gave a wave back to Ellie and went back to simply swimming around and splashing around. If not for the fact that he was indeed a grown man people most likely would've mistaken him for some sort of innocent child. Ah but the water was fun, so very fun. Especially here in the *insert Undefined Country Name Assumed to be America here.* It was so much better than Australia. Whenever he went to visit his klutzy older sister who lived there. The water there was pretty treacherous and he had to be "cautious" to make sure that he didn't get totally fucking killed. That'd be bad. But here, he was just splashing free like a dolphin in a pool and that's when he heard something that would usually be classified as terrifying.

Evan turned his attention, curious to the gasping noise's source and saw that it was a scarlet haired young 'un who was slightly struggling and potentially drowning. Thankfully she pulled herself up and splashed at him. She started to laugh "Watch it! You're going to cause someone to drown." Huh, he could do that? Well he didn't actually mean to drown her, he couldn't have that go on his record no sirree. "Evan right?" The young girl asked.

He flipped a little in the water, counter splashing the young lass and said "yep I certainly am. Evan Allen Walker, man of many talents. Drowning people accidentally is not one of them it would seem." He chuckled a bit at the rare instance of dark humor and then continued along with the conversation, "so Scarlet, are you as stoked for this beach trip as I've been because," he swam around a bit before popping his head up, only to get hit by a rolling wave, then quickly recover to shout, "this is awesome!"

Sal found himself back in the familiar world made of water and sky. He was slightly sick of the place, but he wasn't in any position to be able to get out of it. Sal knew that whatever Zachariel was doing, it was for his own good. The fact that he no longer minded pain as much, and his whole sun aura thing had showcased that. Even still he was really not looking forward to his next battle. However, Zachariel was here this time, and smiled at his arrival. "Hello there Salvatore."

"Hello Zachariel. So what are the training plans today."

She clapped her hands together in joy. "Oh I'm so happy to hear how eager you are to train. Well you see, I have three minor domains, ones that don't necessarily correspond to either of my titles at all. Those domains are healing, sun, and earth. You, as I've already explained to you, have acquired the first stage of the power of the sun. The stage of power that revolves around perception, reflexes and speed. Or in total, hyper energy activity. In order to proceed any further in your training you must be able to access the first two stages of both healing and earth. Today we will be working on earth stage one."

"And what might that power entail?"

"Stage one refers to being sturdy and unyielding. In short, it makes you stronger and increases your ability to take attacks. Now then, let us begin." With that she disappeared and the sky turned its familiar red color. Out of where she stood came the same type of shadows that the last beast was made out of. However, when it came to fruition, it looked more spindly and much more lightweight. Nevertheless, it looked like it wanted nothing more than to kill Sal, and so the fighting began.
The spindly shadow beast charged at Sal, though in a much different way than the previous one had. While the previous one was nothing more than a bull charge, this seemed a lot more erratic. It started coming in a straight line though it started veering jumping back and forth, side to side. Sal tried to perceive its movements and tell just what it was going to do. However this plan failed spectacularly. This beast didn't exactly seem readable. Though it had eventually made its way over to Sal and commenced to go on a beat down towards him.

Sal attempted to guard against the beast but it was insane. The speed at which it attacked was too great for Sal, and for some reason he couldn't seem to access his sun aura at the moment. Zachariel was probably trying to condition him to fight this thing using the concept of his power the same way she had done previously. Thankfully this beast had considerably less strength, and as such, each punch didn't send him flying.

The beast kept attacking Sal, until he finally had had enough and was able to land a punch on the beast. The lightweight shadow was sent crashing into the ground, and Sal followed that up with a kick. The beast was sent hurtling through the air and eventually stopped, smacking hard into the water. When it had landed it simply dissipated and the creature appeared to be dead.
Sal was a bit confused by this win. The beast had been beaten rather easily this time, and Sal wasn't sure what to make of it. Was he done already? Though the sky was still red and his dream fight was still going on so he figured there was still more to this exercise. It was then that he saw the beast reform and appear from across him. He figured that this beast, while it might look the same as the last one, was going to be most definitely different from before. It started shifting around, slightly twitchy, and then did some sort of garbled roar. With that, round two was underway.

The beast's charge was much different from any other charge. That is because the beast was jumping up....and off of the air. It was like the beast was compressing the air underneath itself and bounding off of it. It eventually was literally above Sal, and then dove down to attack Sal from above. Sal had next to no counter for this and as such, the beast landed on his head. Sal fell into a stupor, stumbling around for a bit, only for the beast to go in for a spastic like beat down on Sal.

Sal eventually found an opportunity to hit the beast and as such punched that ****er right in the gut. The beast was sent backwards, but quickly recovered. It sped right at Sal again and went behind him before hitting him in the back. Sal toppled over as the beast continued to beat down upon his back. One he lay flat on the water ground, the beast tried to end Sal, only that Sal grabbed its legs and threw the beast away. Picking himself up, Sal saw the beast dash to his side, and as such he punched the beast straight in the gut. Not being able to handle it the beast was flung away and dissipated.
Sal continued to stand there waiting for the next twist this unorthodox round was going to throw at him. It was at that moment that the shadow began reforming to create a new lanky shadow beast, same as the two before. Only this time, a second one formed alongside it. Well that was interesting. He started to wonder if this was going to be some kind of reoccurring theme. Oh well. Cracking his knuckles, Sal began to face down against his two spindly shadow opponents.

This match started off with those two sprinting in a double helix formation. Well that was different. Sal braced himself ready to go in for the attack, but the two ended up splitting up once they were near Sal. They started running around in a circular formation, making Sal have quite the difficult time trying to actually make a move against them. The two of them stopped sprinting around him and lunged at Sal. One attack his back and kicked off of it, flipping backward, while the other one attacked his gut, at the same time. The two started to do this and Sal was starting to feel the sting from the these little shadows.

However, he realized that the two were attacking in synchronization. Taking a few more hits, he finally got the time down for when they weren't attacking him, and punched the one attacking from the front square in the face. He still got pushed forward a bit, as the one attacking from behind was keeping up its own attack, but Sal quickly got rid of that problem by kicking behind him. Once the two had received the blows, they both simply dissipated and vanished.
Sal stood around waiting for the fourth one of these rounds in this second set to kick off. He was much more enjoying these ones as opposed to previous ones since in these ones he was actually supposed to win each round. Lot less agonizing. Not to mention healing up bruises hurt a lot less than healing bones and organs. Nevertheless Sal stood by, and saw the familiar wisps of darkness reforming. Based on how there were two sets of ripples in the water he figured that it was going to be another two on one situation. And knowing Zachariel, these things were only bound to get stronger in this fight.

Sal observed the pair to see just what exactly it was they were going to be doing and automatically noticed a difference in the way they moved. Rather than sprinting at him in a double helix formation they automatically started circling around him. Sal was trying to get a read on them but everytime they got closer they would switch directions making it harder for him to keep up with them. Then suddenly they were right next to him attacking him. Sal tried to read into it like last time but then he noticed that they were actually moving on a rhythm of hitting him one after the other.

That certainly made him winning all the more difficult. Nevertheless, Sal persevered and tried to spot his opening for an attack, all while getting beaten by these two shadow creatures. They were attacking him in the same spots as last time so his arms were indeed free. As such Sal eventually just slammed his fists together and ended up hitting the one in the front, killing it and bloodying his knuckles. Next up came the one from behind him, in order to counter this he simply elbowed the shadowy beast, sending it off balance and on the ground and finished it off with a jovial punt.
Sal felt the slight twinge of pain course through him as his body was repaired and was ready to begin his next go at all the monsters that this trial had to offer him. After having defeated those two smarter enemies he had a good feeling as to what was going to happen next. And was proven right. Three ripples extended out from across from him and out came three spindly shadow creatures. Well the more the merrier, right?

The three started their fight off with just a simply linear charge. He figured that they were all going to go into some sort of a triangular formation and go around him, so as such he braced himself for that. Only they didn't. They just straight up charged him and attacked him all to their own leisure. Well that was annoying. And painful. They were all mercilessly beating down on Sal, no rhythm or anything, just attacking whenever they could. Sal had to figure out a way to get past these three or else he'd just be stuck getting the **** kicked out of him, which was a big no no.

Eventually the three had managed to knock Sal on the ground and just started jumping up and down on him. Was really not fond of that. As such, Sal eventually managed to grab two and throw them to the side. However, the third one was continuing to bounce on him, and so to get rid of him, Sal pushed his body up knocking the third one off. The other two had gotten up and started charging at him, but Sal simply back stepped, watched as the two rammed into each other, and then punched the both of them killing them. The third one charged him and he simply stuck his foot up and kicked it, dissipating it.
Sal stood around feeling his body repair itself. This was getting bad. He just got through what he assumed was the halfway mark, and things were already getting dicey. Not to mention he knew that these three throw caution to the win go buck wild spindly shadows were only going to get smarter here. And that was definitely going to be a problem. Though when he looked over and saw a shadow forming he only saw one coming out of the ocean. That couldn't be right. He looked around and then noticed that they were reforming in a triangle formation around him. Wonderful.

The three started out moving around, keeping their triangular formation. Their advances were rather slow, but seeing as these things were all about speed he was sure that this would not last forever. As soon they got close enough, they jumped into the air and all met up above Sal. Getting together they dived bombed him, but he simply braced himself for the attack and pushed the trio away. Well that was easy. The three pushed themselves up and got ready to attack Sal again, but not before getting back in their triangle formation.

This time they sprinted all over the place keeping to formation and were poised and ready to attack Sal. However they were already a bit too close as things stood so he simply kicked at one, killing it near instantly. The other two took this opportunity to strike at him and begin a merciless beat down upon him, trying to use the same strategy the round four shadows did. But just the same, he elbowed the one in the back and punched the one in the front and was done with them.
Sal was quite surprised at how easily those shadow creatures fell. Usually the second round was much harder than the first, but he assumed this was just a flawed concept that sounded good on paper was **** in reality. He looked onward and saw that four of the spindly shadows were forming in front of him, not keeping to this square formation thing like the others had with their triangle. He was expecting nothing short of merciless hoedown with these shadow freaks.

Round seven kicked off with the four simply charging him. Two stopped midway and the other two continued pressing on forward. Sal was ready to take on both of them rather easily when the both of them circled around to his back and the two previous ones charged him head on. He was getting ready to deal with the ones in the front when the ones in back simply charged into him and knocked him forward, leaving him to get hit by the ones in the front. Well this was bad. He was then locked into a bitter match of getting hit back and forth by these little shadow creatures with no clear way out.

However, Sal did end up of thinking how to get out of this little situation. He simply stopped trying to brace himself and instead kicked off with one foot so that while he still got hit by two of them, the other two that he dodged collided with each other and got knocked out of their rhythm. Taking this opportunity, Sal simply punched the one in the front and knocked away in the back and then punted the two that collided until they were no more.
Sal was almost positive that he had gotten this pattern figured out, it was just that he was dead wrong now since the pattern seemed to change itself on a whim. Rather than four smarter variations popping up this time five ripples began to form. Perhaps Zachariel was getting a bit impatient here. Regardless it was now a five on one and Sal needed to think to bring these shadows down, or else he was totally going to get his ass kicked.

Round eight began with the five simply bull charging Sal. He was expecting as much, but they seemed to actually be moving faster than the last four. Perhaps they were all just holding back until now with their true speed. Regardless Sal got himself ready for the onslaught and actually decided to do something other than just wait and take the attack. When the five were approaching he simply punched forward and immediately knocked one out right away. That made things significantly easier. Though it do not change the fact that four of these creeps essentially dog piled him and started beating the day lights out of him. That was bad.

Sal tried to get himself up and away from these creeps but they were just bouncing and pummeling him all around. Not fun at all really. So to try and break away from these creeps, Sal but his hands on the ground and pushed himself up to try and shake these asshats off. And shake them off he did. He took the time to run up to one of them and kick it out before it could recompose himself. He then instictevely elbowed behind himself, taking out a third one and leaving only two left. Those two simply tried to charge him, but Sal just knocked the two out rather easily, ending round eight.
Round nine became the rather odd one. Sal was not sure what to expect. He was thinking maybe six, or ten, or one thousand of these things would just pop up, but he was mildly surprised by what actually happened. There were ten of these spindly shadows that came out of the water. That seemed like quite the step up, but they looked more fragile than the last ones he fought. What really threw him off was the eleventh to show up. It was the shadow type that he had fought the previous time. The lot looked ready for a battle, and Sal was going to give it to the.

However, the weird kept getting weirder. The larger of the eleven started the match by picking up one of the small ones. After examining it for a tad, the large one hurled the thing straight at Sal. Completely taken off guard by this, Sal was sent flying backwards by this, and the small one simply retreated back to his pack. The big one then proceeded to pick up more and more of them and started simply throwing them one after another straight at Sal. Sal tried his best to dodge them, but they kept coming at a pretty fast rate and kept slamming into him, all while scurrying back to their pack. This was getting truly annoying.

Eventually Sal decided he'd do the only thing left he could do. Take them head on. The big one continued to throw them at Sal and Sal simply proceeded to punch at them with full force. Each time one was thrown, Sal would connect his fist with the one being thrown at him. This took a while to do, and he wasn't always successful, but in the end, with bloodied knuckles to show for it, Sal had emerged victorious over the thrown shadows.
Sal was expecting a fight against the big one next, but the big one didn't move at all. It simply stood around waiting for something to happen.Sal started to feel his battered body heal up and realized that he was going into round ten. Well that was a different way to segue into it. After his injuries healed he faced his shadowy competitor. The beast glared at him and snarled, and the two were ready for their final showdown of the night.

The beast began with its usual matter, a simple bull charge straight towards Sal. Sal had already beat this kind of enemy before so he was expecting something different but the way his body was and the way he moved seemed exactly the same. As such Sal simply dodged out of the way and began to fight against the thing the way he had before. It kept throwing punches at him but Sal kept dodging and counter attacking. It was actually pretty easy to manage and in the end Sal pretty much beat the beast away and had won.

Or so he thought. After doing his beatdown on the beast, the beast simply picked itself up and was ready to go at him again. Only this time it was different. It had some gold aura around it and its eyes were gold as well. Oh ****. The beast launched itself up and sprinted at Sal. The thing was moving considerably faster than before and Sal could barely keep up with its movements. He got beaten around and sent hurtling through the air, quite gracefully he might add. When the beast started to charge at him again, Sal put his hands on the ground and pushed himself off the ground, kicking the beast square in the chest. Due to the injuries it had already sustained it was good enough to kill the beast thus ending the round. When all was over and done with, the shadow simply collapsed back into an orb and the orb turned from pure black to a green and blue color. Sal put his hand on the orb and it simply absorbed into him. With that, the dream world started to fade away and Sal realized he was waking up.

Getting out of bed Sal felt kind of tired from his night time session of training. As such he stretched out a bit and was ready to get going out of Russia in no more than a few minutes afterwards. He didn't mind staying in Italy for so long for a few reasons. One, he was simply observing how things were run before and how things were done. Secondly, Italy had nice weather. Now he was in cold Russia and was basically trying to get this group to get the lead out their pants and do things. As such he left his room and knocked on everyone else's door telling them to get up and get packed. He was greeted at one door with Richard who simply silently walked away and went to go to the lobby, to presumably sleep more. Next up was Brandon who opened his door rather excitedly. "Hey there Salami. Everyone getting up already? Are you sure you don't need me to knock on their doors with tennis balls?"

Well the kid certainly knew how to get his names wrong. He also had no idea what he meant by that last part, but he didn't really care too much. "Positive." With that Sal left to go to eat breakfast and wait in the lobby. Waiting alongside the sleeping Richard and the tennis playing Brandon.
