That's not really a solution, but it's something that I would suggest you try if you have some time and you really want MSN to be working. Try using an older version of MSN instead of the newest available. A lot of times the newer has more features, but more bugs, but the older has less serious bugs.
Thanks for the heads up! I don't use AVG, but it's good to know about it. I'm sure though that they will release an update fixing this bug. They must do it. It's like when Zonealarm had released an update which caused a problem that didn't allow the users to surf the net like the weren't connected to the internet. They released another update fixing this.
