You won't find txt books. All e-books are in .pdf format. But after you get those e-books, you can convert them to txt, even though it won't be the same as in .pdf. I would give you links to download them, but it would be against the rules since downloading e-books is illegal, even though you already have them. But good places are torrent sites, like thepiratebay or mininova, and google of course.

Don't worry about the error sign, it's not important or harmful. To be able to do those when you reply, you could try enabling javascript in ie.
