I've not played through KHFM yet in 1.5 but I'm also quite curious about this -- iirc they didn't voice act the few added scenes (like Riku waking up in Hollow Bastion) which is upsetting but understandable. Hoping it won't be the case for 2.5.
tbh Namine's new VA and Brittany Snow sound... really similar haha. So the inconsistency wouldn't bother me personally.
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME

They've been alternating a bit. The season premiere was of course heavy story stuff, but then James II and the most recent one (Sad Face I think) were really laid back. Didn't really like the latter but James II was fun.

It's really just what you're looking for, Adventure Time balances the stupid fun with really heavy stuff, whereas my impression of Regular Show is that it's mostly stupid fun. I like the dark story elements/undertone of Adventure Time but I can see how it'd be overwhelming. & I totally get if people don't like the humor in it

ouch yeah I've seen that happen. Stating the obvious but it'll need to be replaced lol. Guts of the laptop should prob be okay though, if you're able to hook the laptop up to an external screen then give that a go before you buy a replacement screen just to be sure

About a month or two after I bought my current laptop there were these weird black marks on the screen. They weren't too big but they were noticeable, honestly looked like a pen had exploded on the screen. They could be moved around a bit by putting force on the screen but they wouldn't go away. Anyway because the laptop was fairly new I contacted the manufacturer to see if they would fix it, they said they would for free and sent me a box and everything to ship it. I read online however that massaging the screen might do the trick. I did that for a while and they decreased in size but they were still present.

A couple days later they disappeared and I got a free box from HP. I don't know what the moral of this story is but there you go.

Does it seem to be shutting down (like going through the Windows is shutting down cycle) or just powering off as if the cord had been unplugged or something?

The fluctuating quality of your signal is probably due to the distance and interference. Things like microwaves can interfere with WiFi. I'd really recommend picking up a wireless repeater and seeing if that helps you at all -- basically it's a little device that takes your wireless signal in and boosts it, thereby extending the range/quality of your signal. They're pretty cheap and easy to set up.

There could be other issues at work here (mostly with your ps3 because they can be really **** with wireless) but the repeater is the first thing I'd try. Also check to see if your router is using Wireless N and what bandwidth you pay for.

I meant more so that it's difficult to apply the laws of evolution to the human race because we're not under the threats of the wild. What determines fitness in humans? Health? Financial success? Intelligence? Clearly not those from an evolutionary standpoint as people of poor health, low income, and low intelligence do still reproduce. Even the genetically disadvantaged (people with a familial history of diseases etc.) continue to reproduce. People may of course die without reproducing, and an unseen disaster may wipe us all out, but the elements of natural selection can't really be applied to modern society as they are to nature.
For a question like nature vs nurture, for which science hasn't drawn any definite conclusions, one's beliefs are absolutely valid. But I agree that we're getting off topic.

Oh yeah, I don't mean to overstate the influence of evolution. For humans it's not as applicable as we've circumvented the ideas of survival of the fittest/natural selection because we're, generally, not living in a society where those unfit to survive can't and don't reproduce, nor can we really define unfit to survive. In fact many feminists are uncomfortable attributing much at all to nature/evolution because it has the dangerous implication that our sex is tied to our gender, an idea we don't like. I think nurture is a far stronger influence; that is, how differently we raise boys and girls affects how they approach sexual partners and sexuality in general. Individuality is also a big factor, as obviously women aren't always looking for commitment while men can be very long-term commitment driven. I'd say that our biology may be predisposed to one or the other, but our upbringing, societal conditioning, and personality are far more influential.

Yeah I did exclude several lines initially written just because I felt they read a little too much as fishing... but I also talked about how I really enjoyed some of the selected texts from the class, which was absolutely genuine, but I worry could be taken the wrong way.
