Hi Emily! It's so great when fans of the podcast join up, not just because it informs me that we do indeed have listeners but because it's always nice to have y'all around! Tale gave you all the info you'll need for getting involved in the podcast (and you've already taken advantage of it which is great!), so I'm sure we'll be talking quite soon. (: Have a great time here and feel free to come to me if you need any help or just feel like chatting.
Because they want to. I don't care that much, just saying that if you change your username a lot, you should know that it may confuse people. We have the past username field already, I wouldn't mind just expanding that to nicknames as well.
I'm kinda of the thought process that if there's something you want people to call you, it should maybe be your username...
I don't personally have a preference, though I like having the option of both. There are benefits to both -- light styles tend to be more friendly to the casual user, since that's what so many popular sites use, while dark styles are more popular on gaming sites (and definitely on KHV). People like to claim that light styles are "more readable" but I think that's really BS, it's more down to user preference and the typography (as well as the contrast between the text and the background). Having the option for a dark style is also important, I feel, because it can severely reduce your energy consumption -- it sounds minor for a site like KHV, but for I think Earth Day a while back YouTube went dark. For a site of that size & popularity, it could make a big difference. Dark styles are harder to design though.
I'm sadly reacting the same way. I'm interested / dedicated in these things, I think that is pretty well known, but things like the extreme effects of misogyny and patriarchy, the violence in our culture and the ease of accessibility to guns... they're nothing new. They've been here for decades, centuries even, and countless people have died over it. It's upsetting to me that women need to die in order for some people to realize that there are some ****ed up perceptions of gender in our society. Sadly, it's so difficult to not be bitter over this, to allow it turn into hate. I admit that I have my moments of misandry and I'm not proud of it, but when you see women and people of color and lesbians and gays and trans people, all kinds of minorities, differentiations from cishet white males being killed everyday... it's hard not to. But only a few of these cases get the recognition they deserve. And even when they do, like with the George Zimmerman case, there's an inspiring collective uproar about it... and then it dies back down to the activist groups who sadly go unheard. So if you're reading this and you're horrified, that's good. But don't forget it, don't write it off by just saying "wow we need to address mental health in this country," "we have a gun problem," or "women are facing a lot of **** from men." Those are great realizations to come to and they're the first step. The next is doing something about it, and it is everyone's responsibility.

I don't mind if they come up to me in public, but I can see how others would be bothered by them knocking on your door. If there's any place you should have the opportunity to be alone, it's at home... Seems a bit inavisve. I feel the same way about people knocking on my door to sell me something, even if it's just girl scouts. Just an in welcome disturbance. I still just say I'm not interested and thanks.
gotta love autopm
Olivia Olson's voice is like 400x sexier than mine tho
i am fine with both tbh
They've spoken about some of the weapons and they sound like there will be a lot that are more interesting than just regular guns. Given that they seem to be emphasizing the character's healing abilities in the cutscene I'd guess that this is early in the game, before you get some of the cooler weapons. But GODDAMN the hype is real for this game Absolutely lovely, nice to hear some the VAs (though the French guy is kinda... not French sounding) The transitions between gameplay and cutscene seem pretty seamless as well which is awesome
So everyone knows I do follow the development closely. Because we're a larger board I won't be installing any alpha or beta versions, but as stated, the Dev that has taken over is very good. Our pins add-on is made by him
Once upon a time I read the history of the vibrator on Wikipedia and it turns out, for a period of time, "pelvic massages" were being used by doctors to treat hysteria in women. The lesson we should all take from this is if your lady seems high strung maybe you should reevaluate your bedroom technique.
It's been over two years since we rebuilt, things get messed up in that span of time.
Oh yeah there are definitely a lot! It's just not always consistent, which I totally understand why but I do notice it at times... Like in the first game, Hercules isn't voice by Tate Donovan (I think he was in KH2), it's Sean Astin. Their Herc voices are pretty similar but if you binge watched LotR movies as a child like I did it's noticeable heh.
I actually was just thinking this last night because I wanted to make sure no one who may have fallen below 1000 posts was still Prem haha. So of course for different reasons but it would be handy. It's possible and I wouldn't mind doing it if others would like it.
hi your icon is koot
I love it when the original Disney VAs return for Kingdom Hearts! The people they get in their stead are usually great anyway, but there's something really nice about hearing people like James Woods and Gilbert Gottfried back in the roles. Glad to have some kind of KH2.5 news as well. Thanks Roxam c:
View attachment 38505 Hello everyone! You may have noticed an increase or decrease in your post/message count after the forum came back up. As many of you know, we've had some troubles with the add-on that counts posts within the Roleplaying Arena lately, which has resulted in it being disabled for several months now. Thanks to the extremely diligent and dedicated work of @libregkd, we've worked out a solution to the problems with that add-on. Not only will posts now count as they should within the Roleplaying Arena, all of the posts made in the times when the add-on was temporarily disabled that should have been counted are now properly accounted for... so if you're a regular roleplayer, you should see a nice boost in your post count! Those of you who were pushed over the 1000 post mark should now be pink. I want to extend our gratitude to the roleplayers who have been patient with us while the add-on was disabled. I know it's terribly unfair to not be getting the post count you deserve, especially if you're nearing Premium. Also a big thanks to @Jayn and @Plums for helping me with some of the tedious work involved in this update. If you're not a roleplayer but your post count has increased (or changed) substantially, in doing this we rebuilt everyone's post counts for the first time in a few years. Sometimes, when threads are moved or we change some settings, post counts are not updated accordingly -- this has been rectified in the rebuild. Notably, posts now count in Community News & Projects. Most of you should be seeing increases; any decreases will be minimal. Note: If you are a roleplayer and your post count doesn't seem quite right, feel free to start a conversation with me and I'll take a look.
crystal castles tho
