Our story begins with a young man going to EB games(that's what we call it here in Canadaland) to get the latest Clover Studios game
"Oh BOY! My first year of university, time to spend money on vidya gaems"
The boy walks into the EB games and notices the neackbeard at the counter, he tries his DAMN hardest to ignore his stench.
"Do you have the new Clover Studios game?"
"Okami?"
The boy kicks the nearest stand
"NO YOU ****ING DICK SLAPPER! GOD HAND! IT'S MADE BY SHINJI MIKAMI SO IT MUST BE GOOD!"
The fat neackbear laughs in such a way that the laugh still rings in the young boy's ears to this day.
"Have fun with your bad game"
The neckbear says mockingly, but who cares. TIME FOR GOD HAND!
So the boy buys his God Hand and makes his way to his dorm.
"HAHA! ITME FOR GOD HAND"
Expecting a decent game, the boy inserts the disc into his playstation 2.
And as the Clover Studios logo appears, the boy is entered into a world that is unlike any other

The boy is greeted with the excellent music of Masafumi Takada, a sound he hasn't heard of since Killer 7
"Oh boy oh boy" the boy says
As he navigates the main menu he finally get's to the new game icon.
He is presented with two choices
Easy
Normal
NOT BEING A CASUAL! The boy picks Normal as Hard is not unlocked yet, but one day he will achieve greatness and discover the almighty Hard mode.
"That's what I expected"
A sumg voice fills the boys ears, a voice he will be hearing for the rest of his life.

The game begins with a desert, our main character and his ***** walk onto screen.
"WAAAAATEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!" the presumed MC shouts.
After some talk of sexy thugs, the game truly begins
AND SUDDENLY TANK CONTROLS
AND IT'S LIKE "**** WHAT AM I DOING!?"
AND IT'S LIKE "WHY ARE THE GRAPHICS SO BAD! JESUS THIS LEVEL IS BORING AS ****!"


What a terrible fate to befall this boy, he appears to have boughten an incomplete ass of a game
Or so he thought.......



Thus begins Jube's descent into madness. And awesome.

But the thing is I'm not too sure WHO benefits from these rules.
There are a lot of members here who have absolutely no problem with me calling them a scagnant dumbasslifer.
And I've seen tons of threads where others do the same, new AND old members and everyone seems to be all honkey dorey, I've said this before but the problem lies when THAT ONE PERSON thinks that we're actually trying to offend eachother.
If you've learned the culture then by now you should realize that unless it's outside of the spam zone this is just the kh-vids way.
You don't have to partake in it but just realize that's how it is.
It's not bullying because bullying implies that we're trying to get joy from someone else crying about whatever. Believe it or not the only time we don't actually joke around is when we're ANGRY because of someone's overexaggeration, we don't LIKE people crying over our behaviour but it's an unfortunate side effect that may or may not happen.
And constantly we tell people "it's a joke, it's a joke, it's a joke" but people insist on getting angry over and over and over again. You would think by this point people would realize that VIVI IS GOING TO BE A DICK TO YOU AT SOME POINT AND THAT'S HOW IT IS, and that's why I encourage lurking the boards before becoming a member so that you can see if the place really is for you or not.

It has nothing to do with "clinging to the past" it's not like we're evolving to a better forum or anything, you're actively taking away something that we find enjoyable and no it's not bullying.
The way we act, we realize that it may be offensive to some other people BUT THAT'S THE WAY WE ACT!
We're not asking for people to accept that, and we're not even asking for people to partake in it but this has been the way we've acted for YEARS it's our HOME it's where we find comfort in eachother. I could understand if it hadn't been like this since ever but it's always been like this, why are these sudden new envisions of a more "family friendly" kh-vids taking priority over how we have fun?
And these claims of bullying are insane, there are people who are overreacting to things and you guys are forseeing the worst case scenario, WHY ARE WE PUNISHED FOR AN EVENT THAT MIGHT NOT EVEN HAPPEN!?




And I recognize that there's a line, there always has been.
But why is that the line is getting changed more often these days?
The people who truly hate this place will leave and the people who like this place will stay, that's how it is for EVERY website EVER.

But the thing is nobody is acting a way ESPECIALLY to new members. We're acting a way to EVERYONE based on how they act, there's really no discrimination. Newer members should be encouraged to lurk before posting, get used to the culture of the forums before coming around acting like the place should pander to them.
Remember we're not acting a particular way to the newer members it's just that the newer members are the ones who you hear the complaints from, going "Don't worry, we'll act nice to you until you hit Prem or have been here for 3 years" wouldn't be fair at the least considering there's newer members like Makaze who seem to have fit in just fine without the special treatment.

Preferable response to what?
People complaining? Like I said, make the people realize that they are a vocal minority and they should grow some tough skin. It may be harsh but certain communities aren't for certain people. By trying your hardest to appeal to the people *****ing about how "He swore at meeeeee" you alienate the people who have been here for a while and have gotten used to and grown comfortable with the mannerisms of this place.

And no this will not stop new people from coming to the forum as there are plenty of new members who seem to be perfectly fine with the general crazyness of the forum. People get over things with time, instead of changing the system because of a sudden overreaction just let people chill out for a bit.

Alright let me just say this if I may...

You guys really need to stop listening to a very vocal minority. There are MANY times where two or more people will be debating about something and then someone will come out and accuse everyone of being hostile to eachother when nobody was being hostile to anyone and little to no bad blood was being made. Suddenly the thread get's locked because people are supposbly being disrespectful to eachother when in actuality that wasn't the case at all, it's just a few members getting upset that not everyone is talking about happy happy sunshine and rainbows.
Swearing, reaction images, stuff like that are meant to be funny and tease other people and they've been this way for THEE longest of time, you have to understand that a MAJORITY of the members here have no problem with me posting laughingwhores.jpg as a crude reply to whatever they were saying; yes they may say "Yeah well screw you to Jube" but that's just playful bickering, the only time it get's out of hand is when the vocal minority screams that everyone is so hateful and needs to get along. Those people don't represent kh-vids for the most part, don't completly shut them out but make them understand that there are customs and behaviours on this forum that are simply natural. We will try our best to compromise with them so they don't run away screaming but at the same time they have to compromise with us.



Also what's the status on the rating of this website.
Is it PG-13 or not because that R rated movie thing has completly thrown me off.
