As they drove to the meeting spot, Bob proceeded to tell Hayden about the past. The Animal Kings and the Demon Kings. He told her about the kids who were like her, part animal, and how they were going to save the world from the enimies. Then he paused wating for questions.
((OOC: ohh! ok, sorry 'bout that!)) Shiarra saw something shiny in the water. "Now, what is that?" she asked. She plunged her hand into the cold water and pulled out a sword, shining prettily. It had black markings on it and a brown handle. A gold piece was there. It looked like it was pointing to the sword on it's sides. That had black markings on it too. "I love it!" she said. She found its holder in the water too (how convenient! XD). she attached it to her belt. "Aw, now my gloves have to dry!" she said shaking them off. She put them in the sun.
The FBI agent (lets call him Bob, ok?) walked to a shiny black car. He opened the door for her. "Get in." he said.
Ok, this is my childrnes book im working on. Tell me if its any good. I do take constructive critisim, but nothing like, 'it was the worst thing in the world, i hate it.' please, none of that. and if you dont like it, tell me how to make it better please. So, here is Chapter one of my in-the-making book, In the Midst. I stared into nothingness. Where was I? How did I get there? These questions tortured my brain. I looked down to see what I was standing on. Nothing. Just white. White, like everything else in the room. Then, out of nowhere, a dark, dark portal appeared. I knew I should stay away from it, but curiosity got the best of me. I began to walk slowly toward it. I stopped when I was only a few inches away. I peered into the portal, slightly hypnotized by the vast swirl of black, pink, and purple. I squinted my eyes harder, only to see figures appear. Two small girls, I concluded, about the age of three. They looked familiar, too familiar for my liking. “Where have I seen them before?†I asked aloud. I don’t know why, but I began to walk closer to the portal, closer to the girls… I placed one foot into the portal. I was going to go completely into the portal, and------------BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!! I jolted awake. It was a dream. Just a strange dream. It seemed so real… no! I shook the thought away. It couldn’t be real! Just then, my door began to creep open. “Hello?†I said. The door slammed shut again. Shortly after, I heard two little girls giggling behind the closed door. “Tina, Terra! I saw you! Get in here!†I said sounding annoyed. The door swung open. The two twins, Tina and Terra waltzed in. “You called?†they said in unison. They both had evil smiles on their evil little faces. I gave them a suspicious look. “What did you do?†I asked them. They looked slightly guilty. Their evil smile grew bigger as they said this: “Nothing really important…we just set your alarm to a later time…†I scowled at them. “How much later?†“Not much…†said Tina. “Just an hour.†finished Terra. “AN HOUR?†I bellowed. Just then, Tina and Terra (aka, TNT) began to laugh, uncontrollably. I scrambled out of bed and began to get ready. “You are just…UGH! Why don’t you pick on each other? Why me? WHY ME?†I screamed. TNT giggled. “Because, we are twins! We don’t pick on each other. We pick on you!†They walked off laughing. I could feel the scowl growing deeper into my face. “Why you little—†“Nicole!! Why aren’t you dressed?†I looked up to see my mother standing in the doorway. “Well…I…They…ASK THEM!†I pointed to TNT. “Who, us?†They said in unison, looking innocent. My mom looked at them. “I’ll deal with you guys later.†She looked at me. “Get dressed. You’re taking the twins to school. I have a big meeting.†She turned on her heel, kissed TNT and told me bye, then left. “You hear that? I’m in charge. Get ready, ok? Don’t bother me anymore.†I got ready, walked the twins to school, and then, ran all the way to school. There, my best friend, Kiera, was there to greet me. “Your late.†She said with a smirk. “What happened to hello?†I said. She looked at me for a second, rolled her eyes and said “Ok, what ever…hi…†“Hi.†I said. She pointed to me. “Hi or not, your still late. Come on!†She grabbed the back of my backpack and pulled me along to my locker. “I am not late!†I told her. This was true; there were other people in the hall. “I know that! You later than normal! That’s still late.†She said in a mater-of-fact voice. I rolled my eyes and opened my locker, threw my backpack in and went to class. The following afternoon, after school, I met up with Kiera. “You’ll never believe what TNT did today.†I told her. “Hit me.†She said, folding her coffee-with-cream colored arms. “Ok so well, they came in my room sometime, I guess, last night and set my alarm clock an hour late! Then they acted like angles when my mom came in.†The whole time, she just nodded and listened. Kiera is a good listener. “Is that it?†she questioned. “Well…yeah…†“That’s something I would believe.†“Yeah, I was just so mad!†“I would be too. Why don’t you get them back?†I cocked my head, “Get them back? How so?“You know… revenge!†She stuck her fists in the air. “Well…I don’t know…they are evil but…remember, when you fight fire with fire, you get burned.†“Yeah…true, but, before you get burned, it’s fun right?†“You watch too many cartoons!†I told her. We laughed.
((OOC: thats ok, ill help you out! XD)) BIC: A different FBI agent came over and put his hand on Hayden's shoulder. "Girl, you need to come with me."

Shiarra woke up again at the break of dawn. This is when she normally got up. She stretched out and went to drink some water from the stream. She lapped it up like a dog.
((OOC: yeah, k, so me (Rei) and Vaagh are waiting and the FBI agent has tried to gather up all the kids who have the special powers and so we are meeting at a place. He just went to gather up some kids. another one will come get you, k? oh, and your character already knows the story (you know, abut the chemicals and the deformities and the Animal Kings,) just by default, that help?)) ((OOC: dang, that was alot! XD))
The FBI agent left to go see if the others were lost or something. "Man, he's worried." Rei said to Vaagh. The FBI agent found the birdboy, another boy, and a girl. "Guys, you know the story. Come with me, please, we need to set off!" he told them. ((OOC: please? go with him! :bounce: ))
((OOC: extremely. without God, i have no purpose for existence, frankly, no God, no us. why? BTW i believe Jesus Chirst is the Son of God. just felt like i needed to put that in there. ^.^)) Rei landed. A store owner greeted her and she waved. "How are you?" she asked him. "Great. Here is your usual." he said handing her a fresh bisket. "Thanks!" she said, taking a bite. "It's delicious, as usual!" She told him. Rei had gone to the marketplace everyday sense she was 5 years old and so the baker always gave her a fresh bisket. She said goodbye, and looked for someone to talk to.
"And stay out!" The maiden screamed at Tessa. "I dont house rebles!" with that she slammed the door. "Well, it was good while it lasted." Tessa said to Snow. She carefully put her possesions in the saddlebag and climbed on. Snow whinnied and nodded her head, as if agreeing. Then she turned her head sideways as if to say, 'where to?' "The alley." Tessa told Snow. "H-ya!" she tapped the horse's sides to make her go forward.
"Ember!" Rei told her Torchic. Torchic opened its mouth to send out the red flames. It did, but missed because Squirtle was moving around too much. "Oh, gosh, he's dodging it!" Rei said. "Nevermind, go, try scratch again!" Rei said.
Shiarra laughed. "Ok." she said. "I wonder when we'll get our supplies for our 'journy'. Merlin said Leon would give us supplies." She fillped her brown hair and fiddled with her huge braclets. "I'm bored."
She flew over a man, training, it looked like. Then she landed in the market. She searched for a resident to talk to.
there's nothing i can do.. Rei thought. "Torchic,endure that one, or dodge it if you can! Couter it with growl and then scratch while its weak!" Rei told Torchic. Torchic landed right in the path of the bubbles, enduring the attack. Cm'on girl. Rei thought. Stay in there. Torchic used growl and then scratch, aiming for squirtle's legs.
