Sal awoke to nothing too unfamiliar. Honestly he was just still hanging about, still completely unable to do anything. In fact, most things from yesterday were basically still the same from last night. So Sal was still curious as to what was actually be done here. He looked around to see Kai with a slightly pained, yet mostly unconscious, expression on his face. Near him was the tormentor herself alongside her grim reaper sidekick...Sidekick was probably the wrong term, but that wasn't entirely important at the moment.

After getting his senses fully functioning after waking up, he noticed that there was something off about one of his hands. It felt much more sensitive than the other one, and it apparently had every right to be. Seeing his hand was bleeding made him wonder why exactly it was. Probably something one of the two did while he was asleep involving this whole sacrifice thing.

Anyway, not doing anything wasn't going to get anything done, and so Sal said in a cheery voice,
"good morning there dark angels, how has it been treating you so far?" He figured being polite with these dark angels would get him...well, it probably wouldn't get him any farther than if he was Henrik. But nevertheless, being polite was always the right thing to do, no matter who you were talking with.

Sal was busy dangling around, still, as Temeluchus continued to explain what was going down here. They were to be used as sacrifices, eh? That certainly sounded like something that was quite interesting. Temeluchus was also looking for a volunteer first to be the sacrifice here. He was still quite curious as to what this was going to entail, but then Henrik, or as Zachariel pointed out, Araquiel, started talking to the Angel of Torment. The two apparently had some old partnership thing that happened way in the past, but it all seemed like ancient history. He wasn't entirely sure what Araquiel was planning with this, since he didn't sound desperate, but the plan didn't make much sense given Temeluchus's current mental state and her...well not being a complete and total fool.

At the very end she pulled out some weird mirror glass thing, and referred to someone named Harbonah...who exactly was Harbonah?

"Another of the Dark Angels, Angel of Annihilation."

'And the glass mirror?'

"I have no idea."

Well that inspired confidence in him. Neither he nor Zachariel had any idea what had happened to this dark angel, and what significance this mirror actually had to do with anything at the moment but he said, "now come on, I'm sure one of us could do it for you." While this seemed like a joke, Sal wasn't actually joking about it. If the opportunity arose, they could theoretically do whatever it was to do...maybe. They obviously wouldn't do it, but there was a less than five percent chance that they could. He then looked at Doctor Grey and said, "oh, why hello there good doctor, funny that we have to meet up in the same circumstances as last time as well. I'm quite curious as to your role this time and look forward to seeing it." Turning his attention back to the Angel of Torment, he said, "so, is there anything in particular you are sacrificing for? Or is it just for the fun of it?"

Sal woke up to find himself in some kind of awkward situation. He didn't feel like he could move at all and when he opened his eyes he didn't seem to notice any actual difference between having his eyes open and having them shut. Well this was quite different from the norm. He couldn't quite tell what was going on, but he was positive it was the work of some form of dark angel, as opposed to just some sort of hung over night out. He could rule out Danel doing something like this, seeing as he had just enlisted their help. Which meant there were only two other dark angels, that he knew of at least, that could possibly be behind this. "It's here. The Chief Angel of Torment, that is."

'Ah, I figured as much.' Sal had not been all that sure what to do in this situation. After all, the last time he had been put in a situation like this, well...he couldn't actually do anything. In fact he had been saved primarily by Danel...and somewhat from Doctor Grey antagonizing the little winged dark angel.

"It would be foolish to believe that the Angel of Judgment will come by again."

'Right, right. I figured that much as well.' Clearly, in his current state of helplessness, trying anything would be futile. So his mind simply wandered for a bit. He wondered where the others were, and how many exactly were with him in this situation. Doing nothing wasn't going to gain him any answers though. Figuring that the dark angel herself was with them in the room right now he said, "my my, Temeluchus, we have to stop being in situations like these. Something vile cooked up for us once more I suppose?"

Oh how this had hurt him. The brown haired man had lamented over the loss of his pawns. Sure, they were just pawns and they were just in some sort of game, but he had the horrible feeling of getting attached to his game pieces. Oh but the feeling of loss he had, it was just too much. Ah well, life moves on. With the loss of his pawns he had lost the game and nothing he could do would prevent that. Packing up the game board he said goodbye to one of his other friends and left. "Man I suck at chess."
He was giggling to himself at the loss that he had just incurred. Win or lose, it was still fun to just be playing around and he knew that the person was better than him anyway. Challenges were the things that made games that much more fun to play though. Thinking on that kind of thought process made him think about other games he had to play. There were just so many things to do. And his land, Phantasmagoria, was one that he had made, while indeed it was heavily forested, also a hot spot for games of all kind. Though, Johnis had gotten a slight affinity towards sports over board games and video games and the like. They were so much more interactive and he did like the use of various equipment through out all the different kinds. What should he do at this time? Fencing? No, he was not in a blade kind of mood. Tennis? He couldn't really think of anyone to play that with at the moment. Rollerblading? Was that even a sport?

All these thoughts and more raced through his head as he let the rain fall down on his head. Though there was some sort of nagging feeling he had going on in his head. Almost like he was missing something, something important. He looked up at the falling snow to wonder what was it that he was supposed to do now. Then it hit him like a sack of celery sticks. How could he have forgotten? It was time for the largest game that he would ever partake in. One that was formed of God's Command. And it would have a new Valen as it's coordinator. How exciting. Though, looking around at himself, he realized that he wasn't entirely well dressed for the event. Pajamas were not the thing a man of immortality and game playing was to wear.

Thankfully, the clear sunny skies had dried him off before he figured it would be time to get going. He figured he was going to be horrendously late so he would have to get going pretty fast. He just hoped he'd get there in time so he wouldn't be the forgotten one who didn't partake in the greatest game of all time. Rushing to a house of his, he grabbed a bunch of clothes out to fit the occasion and got his method of transportation ready.

Clapping his hands together into one large fist, he spun around and sent a large tornado that started ripping through his lands. Unfortunately his transportation was quite the destructive one. He threw his new clothes in there and had large chunk of rock come out of the yard of his house. Flinging that in too, he himself jumped in to begin his transformation sequence.

Johnis took off all of his clothes within the vortex and grabbed all the passed by. Black dress pants. Caught and equipped. White short sleeve dress shirt. Caught and equipped. Black suit jacket. Caught and equipped. Boxers. Caught and...well he'd worry about that one later. Only thing left was his tie, though he had trouble getting it on in the midst of a tornado and simply wrapped it around his head instead. Only thing left was the rock...which after getting nearly impacted by, he stuck his feet on. With that done, his tornado mobile ended up shooting the now well dressed Johnis off and towards the hall of games, dissipating behind him.

Surfing through the air on his rock board, Johnis eventually hit the ground and skidded across until his rock board was no more and he was just kind of bouncing across the ground like a skipping stone. After controlling the ground to push him back, the man stopped shorter and directly in front of the hall of games. Man, that could've killed him. He then realized he didn't have anything to offer to the new Valen and that would be just no good. Looking at the ground, he made a rose pop out of the ground and bud. Picking up the freshly made flower Johnis walked into the Hall to see a large assortment of Valen already there.
"Why hello there my immortal buddies." Johnis made his presence known, simply because he wanted all his friends to know he was here. All the Valen were his friends to, no question about it. Whether they liked him or not, they were still friends.

Looking around he eventually spotted the new one of the group. How did he know she was the new one? Well he didn't recognize her of course. Johnis needed to rectify this problem of not knowing each other and so he walked over to her and said, "hey there new girl." He clearly wasn't paying attention to the two men who were interlocked in something at the moment, right near her, and continued,
"names Johnis. Sorry that I don't really know who you are, I didn't pay attention to the game you were apart of so yeah." He waited a bit before saying, "oh right! Here you go," he handed the fresh rose off to the girl and said, "a welcome present. Anyway, hope we can both have fun in this game."

With that, he walked off until he noticed that there were two Sangrias. Whoa. That was pretty trippy as balls. He looked at the two and did a double take towards both of them.
"Holy platter of shiitake mushrooms, there are two Sangs now? That's pretty weird. Is this like, some kind of new cloning drink you made, cause if so, it's bad ass." He was really addressing the both of them...since they were both Sangria.

Valen Appearance: The Force of Nature
Weaknesses/Fears: Being off the ground, metal, pandas, and fire.
Personality: A man of upbeat nature who doesn't like to let the common stress of owning land get to him. For the most part, he is always looking for a good time and always making light of any situation he's placed in. In terms of manners towards others he is quite tactless and can sometimes come off as rude. In regards to his fellow Valen, he feels as though they are all better than him. After a day of nonsensical tennis playing with a wall and chatting it up with Jo, Brandon decided it was finally time for him to get some shut eye and go to sleep. He felt like he was getting tired a lot less easily now, not that he easily tired before anyway, and figured the week they had spent training here had really payed off. He felt much more in tune with his lightning powers than he had ever been before. Boy did it feel awesome. Regardless, he realized that the needed to get some shut eye, and so that's what he did. Hitting the ball one last time with a massive electrical surge in it, he grabbed it and then marched himself off to bed, getting ready to go and do probably more travel shenanigans tomorrow.

Brandon was not one for believing that there was actually something wrong with him, but this time, it seemed too great a thing to just ignore. So a while back, Brandon had been hospitalized because he had nearly hit a girl named Ahranna, and swerved out of control to avoid killing her. Next she stayed at his bedside for the entire time he was hospitalized and seemed greatly interested in what he did. Brandon was all for befriending people, and he was all for being as friendly as one humanly could be...though even he felt that Ahranna may have just been a tad bit on the clingy side. Once he had healed, he had left and said his goodbyes to her. Fast forward a bit.

Throughout the entire trip from Australia to the Falkland Islands to whatever they were doing now, he was pretty sure he had seen Ahranna around. Now he had thought that it was coincidence at first, and didn't want to go over and talk to her because fallen angel shenanigans took precedence. However, after awhile it seemed far too frequent to simply be coincidence. So, Brandon decided to bring this to a person who wasn't him's attention. They thought he was being crazy old Brandon because she wasn't there when anyone else looked.

At this point in time Brandon was simply out and about, hitting a ball against a wall with his tennis racket. He had become slightly paranoid of this Ahranna spectre and wished for her lingering spirit to be purged from his vision...because being haunted wasn't cool. Wait, did that mean she was dead? Brandon thought back only to realize that there may have been a chance he actually did kill her and she was never there to begin with, he was just seeing dead people this whole time...then again Adan had a discussion with her so the only logical conclusion was that he could see dead people too. Maybe she was going to stick around for a while to teach him the true meaning of Christmas. That's what ghosts did, right? Brandon tried to wrap his head around this whole, she was dead all along theory, but wasn't getting much headway on it. So in the end, he kept bouncing his tennis ball against a wall.

It was at that point that Brandon realized someone else had come into the picture. He heard the voice and turned to face the white haired Joslyn, continuing to bounce the ball against the wall and said, "oh hey there Jo. I've been doing fine recently, been really digging getting these training days in, though. So, how've you been doing?"

Richard awoke from his slumber pushing himself out of bed with his hellfire mist and striking with El-Harriss straight away. He wasn't wasting any time at the moment, because he knew that a certain fallen angel was waiting for him to get up so that they could both go and train again for the day. Maalik had guarded against the strike with his own blade and said, "well then, finally taking this seriously?" Richard didn't say anything in response. There wasn't much in a shift of him as to why he suddenly was super gung ho for training with Maalik, he still loathed the angel after all, but he once Maalik had taught him about the final application of his mist, he felt some form of duty start to form up in his mind. Something he couldn't shake off. And so, he was going to beat the **** out of his troubles.

Richard withdrew his blade and turned it back into a wand, just waiting for when their training would actually start. When the two arrived at the roof top, both drew their swords and stared each other down. Getting his stance ready, Richard barreled off towards Maalik and the two began to clash blades and powers. Richard kept his saber ignited against Maalik's ignited saber, whilst the two were using their hellfire mist to constantly hit one another and throw them off balance. In the end, the two powers were just attacking each other as best as they possibly could, simply because Maalik wanted Richard to get stronger, and more importantly, Richard wanted to get stronger.

Stratos listened as Glen responded to his question and realized that Glen was kind of new here as well. Well that certainly made Stratos feel...less out odd about coming in so late. Turns out their were still people who were showing up out of the blue like himself. It was then that the both of them had heard Steel's yelling out to them. Stratos decided it'd be a good idea not to keep the man waiting any longer and so, after Glen had, Stratos started running up to where Steel was.

Richard had been training with Maalik for the grand majority of the day. The two constantly made back and forths at each other in an attempt to surpass the other. Granted, Maalik was still going rather easily on Richard, simply because his full power was that of an angel which would have totally destroyed the man. Richard continued to slash with his flaming saber at the man to absolutely no avail, all while trying to mix in his new found hellfire mist attack. However, Maalik was still too fast for him and as such, was able to consistently block each blade strike and dissolve each hellfire mist strike. At the end of the session Richard had been pouring off some sweat and was quite done. So, Maalik feeling like the day was accomplished, let Richard go. As such, Richard soon made his way to bed and fell asleep there.

Stratos had ended up following Steel all the way to the main castle, having the scenario of what was going on here. He simply wandered alongside him until they got to the main doors. It was there that someone new popped in and seemed to be curious about where someone named Blaze appeared. Who was Blaze? Oh well ,that didn't really matter much at the moment. Stratos watched as the exchange between the new person and Steel went along until the new person then suddenly shifted his attention back to Stratos and introduced himself as Glen. "Well, nice to meet you Glen," he said, returning a smile back to the man in front of him.

It was then that Steel had walked off on his own and started going somewhere else. Stratos watched idly by and then turned his attention to Glen. "So yeah," he gave a smile and rubbed the back of his head as he said, "I'm new here so I'm not entirely sure what to be doing at the moment." He then remembered that Glen had just asked for a location and said, "oh right, do you need to be going to that throne room?"

Richard woke up to see Maalik's figure right in front of him. Not moving an inch from his position he felt that something was...off. Or rather, something was on. There were a lot of things on him. Kind of stacked as well. Richard knew that someone had done this to him and...didn't really care at all about it. Instead he was fully willing to go back to sleep before he remembered that Maalik was literally right in front of him...so that was completely out of the option at this point. "And this is why sleeping twenty-four-seven is a bad idea. Well, there are other reasons, but you just seem to ignore those anyway."

Richard did not feel like dealing with Maalik's usual contempt towards him and just wanted to get whatever he had in store for him to be over with. 'Is there something you wanted or are you just going to berate me some more?'

Maalik sighed a bit before continuing on with Richard. "Of course there's a reason I'm here. Would've thought you'd be able to put that much together by now, but whatever. You're going to train with me today, no questions asked." Richard felt like he had no say in the matter whatsoever and figured that he might as well go along when Maalik said, "but first. Get that **** off of you using your powers."

'You want me to burn this off?'

Maalik let out one more sigh of disdain towards Richard before saying, "so I guess you don't have much scope on your powers if that's all you can think of to do. Listen, your powers are over hellfire. This includes hellfire mist. With this mist, you can make it form into something more physical and grab or push or slam or whatever with it. So do that, get all of the junk off of you and get going." Reluctantly, Richard had the mist start to flow off of him until it pushed all of the miscellaneous things off of him. With that done, Richard followed Maalik upstairs where they would begin some form of training.

After Stratos got up and started walking about, he heard a voice perk up and say something that was most likely to be taken as sarcasm. He gave out a slight chuckle to the comment before he heard the man asking if he had a letter. "Oh, um, yeah I do." He continued to walk forward until he saw the person who had spoken to him. The person seemed a tad annoyed and Stratos couldn't help but feel like his "expert" piloting skills were to blame for it. "Oh, um, sorry about landing in not the most graceful of fashions." After apologizing he figured it'd be a good as time as any to both introduce himself and gain some info as to what he should actually be doing now that he was indeed in the Land of Departure. "Oh right, manners, the name's Stratos, nice to meet you. But yeah, now that I'm here I'm kind of not sure where to go really. So, sorry to bother you, but but could you point me in the right direction of what to do?" He figured this person would know what to do seeing as, well, clearly he had a letter too and seemed to be quite comfortable with the area.

Here it was. The big day. Probably the biggest day of the young boys life. Wait no, that would've been the day of his birth...then probably the day he got said sacred weapon of heart metaphor proportions...okay so this was pretty high up there in terms of importance and the boy was quite excited for it. Leaving his home world to go and do saving the universe shenanigans, probably, was actually quite easy. It's not like he hated his home world, he was actually quite fond of it, but the heart, it yearned for more in life. So, once the call to go out and gather all keyblade wielders was sent, Stratos was quick to answer the call. Granted, as quick as he may have been to answer the call, he couldn't help but feel that he was horrendously late to the party. Ah well, that shouldn't matter too much.

What had kept him a good deal from arriving to this world, was simply that he didn't really know how to get to it. He had to first learn how to summon a keyglider before being able to leave his homeworld, and even then, he wasn't the greatest of pilots. Sure he knew the fundamentals behind flying it, and sure he could actually do so, but not without having horrible balance issues that caused him to slightly swerve out of control and flop all over the place. As cool as it may look, jet boards were not the most practical of flying apparatuses. Regardless, he had made it to the Land of Departure and was feeling pretty excited at the prospect of this whole adventure thing being so close...though he got a bit too excited. He lost his focus a bit which caused the key glider board to start swerving about and made Stratos lose control of his keyglider completely. This caused for him to do a hard crash landing onto some sort of summit area, tumble around a bit before being able to fully stop, and make his keyglider disappear. He sat himself up a bit rubbing the back of his head saying, "well that hurt," before standing up and wondering what to do next in this world.
