Stratos had his and the other had had their questions answered by the man dog. Apparently he was just sort of training, here and that he had no real idea who is king actually was. Apparently this Merlin fellow was horrendously ambiguous when it came to being able to see the future. It was then that Kel had commented on the fact that Ana and Beuce were holding hands, and that it was a strange thing to see. Really? Stratos had just assumed that they were already a thing based on how they acted towards each other. That sort of weird love hate thing that people were into now a days. Ana then removed her hand from Beuce and proceeded to something pseudo-prophetic about seeing the future and its effect on the psyche or whatever. Based on what Goofy had said, the whole thing about him only giving glimpses of the future to others, Stratos assumed this Merlin fellow was more likely then not senile and/or spouted out riddles about prophecies. "Future telling aside, I'm still curious about yourself Goofy. What made you want to become a king's guard if you have no idea what this king is like?"
Needless to say, the church felt a bit odd to the lazy man. There was something oddly revitalizing about being in it, yet something that he couldn't quite pin his finger on. Some form of irritation of some sort. Well that was clearly going to not be troublesome at all when he wished to get some sleep. Regardless, the entire gang had made it in and they were staying here for the night. Wonderful. Without much prompting Richard went off to find his own bed and then simply went to sleep there, as he usually would anywhere else. Brandon was super stoked that today, the gang had managed to merge back together just that much more. With good old Xana back in there party, they were slowly becoming a full party once more, and they had a new team member to boot. Not to mention, there was all the team mates that Xana needed to be introduced to. There were so many of them and he was sure that they would all bring their own unique thing to the table, like things that weren't fire. Regardless, It was time for Brandon to hit the proverbial hay and so that's what he proverbially did.
Johnis was rather excited to be able to go into the maze and have some fun. It was after he gave his gift of flora, that everyone else in the group started to apologize for being rude about the not paying attention to the wonderful maze of plant variety themselves. They all seemed to be wanting to completely disregard the maze, though, and jump straight to Linguistic World Land Place, which slightly upset Johnis. Mazes were meant to be traversed and explored, and if they weren't then all they were was taking up space and not being useful in the slightest. It was then that some weird flower art appeared around his flower and bam! Riddles. Well that was quite cool. This Akantha chick sure knew how to throw a bitchin' side quest. Granted the riddle was basically saying to just to her place and then they'd be where they originally wanted to go to, but hey, it was the rhyme that counted. The Vex man then said that they were going to need to form some kind of plan to find Akantha's place. Well that seemed rather silly to form a plan when they were going into something that's whole purpose was to be unchartable territory. "Okay, here's the plan. Step One. Enter the maze. Step 2. Walk around the maze. Step 3. Find Akantha's home. Step 4. Uhhhhh.... Step 5. Profit! Now that that plan is settled let's go into the maze get down to the good stuff. Though, I suppose even going blindly into a maze having some form of progress tracker would be good." It was then that Mimi-Doll, or rather her spokesman G-Gor-Gotter- uhhh, Goiter Dammerg, proposed the plan of using Mimi-Doll's powers to make dolls out of dirt to act as checkpoints around the entire maze. "Alrighty then, with that settled, let's go!" Johnis pointed eagerly to the maze and started to go right into it, totally willing to get some maze action on.
As it was, the kid had decided to join up with their party after all. That was good enough for now, as long as this kid wasn't actually going to be an issue for another day to recruit like the one that had joined up a few days ago, it was all good. Though there was some odd feeling towards this new angel, who had an eyepatch for whatever reason, almost as though, like most of them, he didn't like him. Though this one felt different and it was almost as if Maalik was feeling particularly hostile towards this angel. Why? He wasn't entirely sure, but it probably had something to do with, as Maalik told him, this man being the "Fire of the Lord." Apparently Maalik wasn't too fond of another angel who specialized in Hellfire. Though Maalik did feel this lingering animosity, it wasn't as pronunced as it used to be. He was getting used to being around the other fallen angels, and Richard himself wasn't entirely concerned about them. In the end, the gang had all got back to their cars and took off back to the plane to start going to their next location, Sal explaining to the newcomer the basics and all he needed to know the way there. Time Skip 2 Hours The gang had all made it to Brazil to find, not a new fallen, but the oldest one of the group...at least, experience wise. Hana was hidden away here, and the group was now to go and retrieve her so that the party could become that much closer to full once more. Following the compass the group found their way to a church. It was odd coming here, as though despite the fact that he was indeed an angel, this was the first time in a long time that Richard had actually visited one of these. With this, the group had gotten out, only for Richard to look to Samuel and motion over to the building. "Would you like some alone time for your reunion?"
Hyuge-chan-san-sama, have I ever told you how amazing you are? *fires off thank you cannons.*
Brandon had woken up that day, raring to go and ready to take on this whole recruitment thing. Sure, it was pretty up in the air at the end of yesterday's talk, but Brandon was not taking no for an answer and as such, was going to go find that eyepatch angel and get him on their side. So, he got out of bed and brought himself all the way down to the entrance of the hotel, and awaited the rest of the gang to pile down into the lobby. After they did, Brandon and gang all had gone into their clown car many cars, they went off to follow the compass to find the angel in question. While they totally did not go to the school that they had gone to yesterday, they still ended up at what was most likely the angel's house, and as such, Brandon got out and decided to go and knock on the door, waiting for the fallen angel to come and answer the door.
Johnis had arrived with the rest of the major party in search of a linguistic society to translate this mystery book. Good old side questing to proceed with main questing. However, there was just one thing that stood in there way. And that was...a maze. A maze made of plants no less. Holy plant life it was probably the most beautiful assortment of vegetation he had ever seen. Sure, he had the capability to make all of this himself, but never would he think to make natural art with it. It was then that the wondorous mistress behind the plants had shown herself, only to ask why they were here. To which Asterion replied the good honest truth...granted the truth was apparently not something plant lady Akantha wanted to hear. With that she was gone and so was there hope of getting a guide through the maze. Ah well. It was a maze after all, and having a guide, while extremely convenient, slightly defeated the purpose of going to a maze in the first place. Well that is the first time around. Not to mention Johnis could just destroy the entire maze and walk through it, but that would both defeat the fun of the maze and even if he did bring them all back to life, would not truly encapsulate how awesome it once was. As such, he got psyched, but first. "Goodbye Ms. Akantha, I hope to have fun in this plantae masterpiece. As a token of my appreciation towards the plants," Johnis then proceed to create a small flower, a different color on each petal casting off a rainbow effect, "a gift." He throw the flower to the maze and then turned towards the group. "Alright, no need to be glum chums. Let's go straight on through this maze, after all a maze is supposed to give off a sense of adventure of thrill. And when something is as exquisitely crafted as this, we must take all the time we can to enjoy that."
"Alrighty then, we'll stop by and meet up back here tomorrow, I guess then. So see you tomorrow, can't wait for the decision." With that done, Brandon had walked back to the group, to bring news towards the entire group about how the recruitment process had gone. "Alright guys, pretty sure we can put him down as a definite maybe. Don't worry though, we'll finish it up tomorrow." Having done all he could for the day, and no one else probably wanting to go talk to the fallen angel at the moment, Brandon and co had went back in their form of transit and had deployed off to a hotel for the night. It was there that Brandon had acquired a room and laid down for post day review. They had learned about Xana being safe and sound in Braazeel, he had nearly managed to recruit another fallen angel to their squad, and he had set up an appointment for tomorrow. Hopefully the kid would show up, because if he didn't...well they could find him anyway via their magic compass. With that out of the way, Brandon went to sleep.
"I'm neither, er doing neither, er, I'm neither creative nor am I selling you something." This was Brandon's Ace Attorney level retort to what the boy who had an eyepatch for whatever reason had said. This was that finale part of the recruitment that always ended up being the hardest because you had to think of the characters, and how your character would respond to appeal to the other character's persona so as to have them not think you were crazy. This would require...some thought! Brandon followed up by saying, "what I'm saying is one hundred percent true. Alright, so as an angel, we all have our own super power type thing unique to ourselves. We've got wind, fire, telekinesis, fire, healing and of course, fire. My power is lightning soooo," he then made his hand course through with electricity to show off his powers, "see, angel powers. Now, I kind of have no idea what yours is, but I'm sure it'll be awesome and unique." Making his hand stop flowing he followed up with, "in addition to that, we've all got our own super angel weapons. They're like swords...or shields, that can change into anything that kind of retains a similar form." Taking off his wristband and turning it into a wand, Brandon demonstrated this by having it shift between a fork, knife, spoon, spork, spife and shiv, (don't ask what the difference between the last two is.) Turning it back into a wrist band Brandon finished with, "so now that you see I'm not being creative, nor am I being a salesman, what do you say about joining our party now?"
The boy responded to him. Success! The plan was working brilliantly! That plan being let Brandon talk. Meaning this plan could go in two different directions from this juncture. Brandon needed to choose his next words carefully as they could be- oh fuck it. Everyone reading this knows what the first thing this boy is going to say, and it's not "do you want to play tennis?" No, of course not. There was never a time to play tennis and I, the unreliable narrator I am, don't believe anyone on the squad even knows how to play tennis, save for Brandon. So of course, the first words out of this boy's mouth was that infamous question literally everyone started a recruitment with. "So, you know about all those strange events going on around the world? The zombie invasion in Europe and all those strange unexplainable weather thingymabobbers. Well, they're actually pretty related." Now that the obligatory "everything is connected" portion, it was time to move into the explanation. "So, turns out all of these things were actually caused by the forces of hell trying to start an uprising to take over the entire world. So, basically the only thing standing in the way of that, is these angels who are now humans who are kind of don't have any idea that they're angels, er human angels, something like that. Anyway, the angels down on Earth are banning together and trying to stop Hell from winning. Where you come in, is that you're one of them," Brandon saying this with 100% confidence despite not actually knowing. "What that means for you, is that you get to come along with the rest of our angel crew, who are kinda at the school right now, and travel the world, unlock the secrets of the angel within, defeat demons, and skip school for probably another month. So whadda ya say?"
It was true, thinking wasn't usually Brandon's strategy. He was more of a leap first right into things and totally disregard any consequences that can, will, or have happened because of it. So Wealthard did have a point when he totally stopped Brandon in his tracks with his hellfire mist magic angel powers. So they needed a plan eh? Well this was require a lot of thought and- ah screw it, I can't lie to you folks. Brandon was totally going to go regardless of what anyone thought at the moment. The only problem was getting through Wealthard's anchors. It was then that El decided to make a plan for the group. "Well, seeing as he at the age that one would be in school, I suppose having Brandon go and do the talking would be the most appropriate and socially acceptable to bystanders. Granted, you definitely do not look like you belong at this school, but never mind that. Any other ideas?" The group was silent, primarily because no one had posted. Being completely uncontested in his idea, Brandon was let free from his hellfire shackles and walked all the way over to where the compass was pointing to. Granted he was met with an obstacle of hindsight and hurriedness. The next part of El's plan involved Jo following him because she had the compass...so Brandon wouldn't be able to exactly pinpoint which person was actually the angel. Well shit. Looking around, Brandon wasn't entirely sure who he should tell the fallen angel thing to, that is until he noticed something distinct about someone. They had a flurry of white rose petals dancing around them, and the only other time this had happened was with Buch, who was luckily an angel. When Brandon looked to the boy again, the petals were gone, but he was still sure about this guy being the angel. Walking over to him, Brandon casually blended in as best as a British boy in South America could, and said, "hey there friend. Can I talk to you about something?" He was hoping that he was within Leo's totally ambiguous and undefined language barrier breaker, so that these conversations could by rather easily...so there were actually a lot of holes in El's plan, but hey.
Feeling super energized and raring to go was just the way this boy wanted to start his day. Looking at the ceiling above, Brandon was quite curious as to what the day would bring to him, seeing as the last few days had been rather successful. They had gotten a total of three new crew members to their gang of Angelic Badasses, and were looking to get some more. Step by step, day by day, they were getting closer to having a full party, and seeing as no more were going to poof into existence, this time it was going to be for sure. Unfortunately, they were just running exceedingly short on time. Well that wasn't good. But that wasn't the point, what was the point, was that they needed to go and get a good old fashion move on towards their next angel. As he was done with his morning duties, he went to the door, where Jo was located, and the two waited for everyone to get their keisters out of bed and to the door. Once everyone had made it out of bed, Jo told them all the great news she had. Apparently Xana was just chilling in Brazil, doing whatever it was that she had gone there to do, and that she was ready to get picked up. Sweet. That meant their full party, save for Adan who was probably double agenting for them or captured or something like that, and save for all the people who are currently dead, would be back together in no time. That just meant the pressure was on to recruit these angels as fast as possible. With the news out of the way, the gang loaded into the nearest form of transportation that they could "obtain" and went off in the direction of the compass. When they finally got to where the compass was most definitely pointing to, it turned out to be a school...man! He sure was slacking on his studies recently. And he had a physics project on electrostatics due about....a few months ago...well hopefully the school was closed for being demolished or something by the massive earthquake. Getting his usual pep together he exclaimed, "alright! Let's go!" As he walked towards the school, he was stopped in his tracks. From the car, there could be seen white mist coming out of it and anchoring the boy to the ground. "Or we could not charge into the school looking for someone to tell them they're an angel." The voice belonged to none other than Wealthard, the always sleeping man...who still had both eyes closed anyway. Well drat, looks like they were going to have to come up with...a plan.
As the goofy dog, human, thing, knight (christ in a corn shell what was this thing?) introduced himself as Goofy, he revealed that he did indeed come from a different world. And as though they weren't making it painfully obvious with their differing fashion senses, magical key weapons/transports, and talking like they were foreigners, Goofy did indeed know that they were from a different world. Well that certainly cut out any awkward tip-toeing around the subject that they would've had to do. Anyway, the gang started going ahead and Stratos just couldn't get left behind in the dust like he was consistently doing. He heard Kel and Ana ask about the king that he's trying to protect and become a knight for, and also Beuce wanting to skip all this talk and get straight to the main plot. But it was the side plots that gave you more world information/probably plot relevant details. Oh well. Walking alongside the group, Stratos figured he'd ask some questions of his own. "Also, since being here will help you become a knight to your King, what're you supposed to be doing here that'll help you become said knight?"
Stratos had seen a lot of strange things, but this dog thing...was one of them probably. Really he thought the walking Dog(?) who talked with some sort of accent that made him sound somewhat goofy who had asked if they were from a different world from this one. Well clearly they were, if this sword was like, a well known facet of this world and everyone knew about it. Except maybe the peasants who believed they were in some sort of anachro-syndicalist commune, but who were they fooling? This was clearly a tyranny that this world was ruled by. As Ananta inadvertently told her name to Stratos, by way of telling the dog thing her name, and swiftly stopped Beuce from speaking. Well that was rather rude of her, the other team mate hadn't seem to have done anything wrong...or at least not yet. Anyway, as Ana provided a cover story for their clothes being different, Kel posed a question about the sword and Ana and Beuce seemed to be having some sort of question. Stratos kind of peering into the conversation to listen to what it was about, interjected by saying "well, we'll never know if we don't ask, isn't that correct." Walking away from the two he walked over to the Dog (seriously, was this even a dog?) and decided to introduce himself. "Hey there, the name's Stratos and I have a counter question to pose. If you know about other worlds, since that doesn't seem like the most common of knowledge, would that mean that you are from one yourself?"
With the recruitment done the group that went to the hotel, where Sal had filled Tiia in on the situation they were in to the best of his ability and filled her in on just what angel she was. However he had no idea what exactly Raguel's abilities were and could not tell her, and due to creative liberty of the RPer Zachariel couldn't tell him what they were either. It wasn't too long after this was over and done with that Sal had seen the second group of theirs return with the newest fallen angel of theirs. Well this was quite wonderful news. He had figured that they had explained the whole situation to him, Kushiel as it would turn out to be, and once the group was together once more it was high time to get together and go to bed. After all sorts of reactions and conversations between the members, old and new, were done the gang had finally decided to get together and get ready for their grand departure. Stepping onto the plane, he had asked for the direction the compass was pointing in, to find that it was pointing in the North East Direction. Thinking that there would be no other angels in this country, once everyone had boarded the plane was off in that direction to Bolivia. With all said and done, Sal had fallen asleep on the plane and let the journey continue.
The two people already here were named Kel and Beuce. Great! Strives in getting to know his peers was all ready making leaps and bounds. It was then that the next of the trio...er, quartet as it were, came into view. He wasn't entirely sure what was up with her crystal thing, but becoming super buff out of nowhere and mustering all her strength, she went to give it the old college try against that sword in the stone...of course it failed, because that's just how these things work. Stupid legendary swords and being unmovable. It was then that the fourth member of the team realized that she had no idea who Stratos was...granted, Stratos had no idea who she was. So everything worked out in the end. "Yo there, the name's Stratos. I guess we could go exploring or something but, I think I'll give this sword a try myself." Walking over to the sword that he had crashed into, Stratos started pulling up on it as hard as he possibly could. Of course, the sword didn't budge at all. Stratos then decided to pull out his ultimate technique. Pretending to spit on both of his hands, he held them out towards the sword and said, "open sesame!" And then he waited. It took about ten seconds of nothing happening before Stratos said, "well that's all I got."

Sal stood there after he explained the entire situation to the Miss. He was kind of wondering what had happened to her, seeing as she just completely stopped doing anything. He was wondering if she was alright, and if the fact that she was indeed a fallen angel didn't make her go into some state of absolute comatose. After waiting for a minute, no more and no less apparently, she more or less exploded into a jovial outburst. Throwing her hands into the air she proclaimed that she was indeed not insane and that someone apparently wanted her to go to Chile. Sal kind of had no idea who she was talking about, but it was quite the positive thing that someone sent her to Chile. The Lord works in mysterious ways an all that. After she apparently realized that she was in public she patted him on the shoulder and told the rest of the people that he had given her a surprise, which was indeed true, and then immediately sat back down. Sal waved to the good people of the restaurant, all of their curious and judging eyes looking at the both of them, until they went back to eating. The Miss sat back down and seemed to force out an introduction out of which Sal could only describe as a mixture of excitement and embarrassment. "Well, pleasure to meet you Miss Tiia. My name is Salvatore, though most simply refer to me as Sal. Only a fraction of our group is here at the moment seeing as we believe there's another fallen nearby. Though, for now we'll simply go back to our hotel that we're residing at, but if you have any more questions I'll be glad to answer them to the best of my ability." With that, group one had finished their recruitment job and went to go back to the hotel to give a crash course to the their new found team member.
Sal was about to answer the question of the Miss who hosted Raguel had asked, but then William had stepped in and decided to explain the situation to her. That was the go-getter attitude he liked in a fallen angel team member. He simply stood back as William had explained everything and was waiting for the reaction of the Miss. After this point, he was expecting the usual look that they were completely crazy people, and that the fallen angel thing was just something worthy of throwing them in an insane asylum. Granted, the whole television hoax thing was new kind of reaction, but nevertheless, she was not a believer in the fact that they indeed were fallen angels. Stepping over Sal said, "sorry to disappoint Miss, but sadly William isn't joking. The both of us are indeed fallen angels and, believe it or not, you are as well. As fallen angels basically are trying to gain strength and numbers, you being one of them, in order to stop the forces of hell from causing an apocalypse. I know this sounds rather crazy, but it is indeed true and every fallen angel we get to join our group helps. The things like the strange storm over the British Isles, Australia's freak hurricane, the flood of Venice, and the "zombie" invasion of England are all examples of things that have already been caused by the forces of hell." Hopefully she would see that they were indeed not kidding about their fallen angel endorsement, and not continue to think they were crazy.
Sal woke up, stretching himself out for a bit, feeling that it was quite a nice change of pace sleeping in a hotel. He hadn't done that in, what, four days? Well, that wasn't exactly as long as it had actually felt, but it dangling in the air in hell mist for a few days certainly wasn't the most comforting of sleeping. Speaking of which, Sal was still kind of curious as to what the four of them were going to be sacrificed for, though probably figured it was best that it didn't happen, since he rather enjoyed living and the other three people there probably did as well. Oh well, Sal walked himself down to the hotel lobby to get his breakfast and wait for everyone else to wake up. One by one as they all piled up downstairs until the entire gang was ready and raring to go on their next day of recruiting. As soon as they had came together, they checked the compass as to where it was pointing for them to be going, and as such the group followed the directions provided to them by their white haired navigator and piled into whatever means of transportation they could find. It had guided them to the lot of a fast food parking lot and was pointing one way...and then it apparently shifted directions almost instantly to the fast food restaurant itself. This could only mean that two angels must have been in rather close proximity to each other and so they figured that splitting up to get the recruitment done faster would be a much better idea. Splitting up into two groups, group one consisted of Sal, Kai, Richard, Samuel and William whilst group two consisted of Joslyn, Brandon, Leon, Vincent, Lauren, Alice, Henrik, Iris, Logan and the new girl Alejandra. They would be able to keep in touch via Kai's and Joslyn's phones and hopefully given the multitude of languages known in the group, communication wouldn't be a problem. Once the groups split apart, group one was off to begin its mission. Walking into the fast food restaurant, the gang began their hunt... without the compass. Thankfully, their angels had the amazing ability to recognize each other's existences and it wasn't long before Zachariel had pin pointed which person was the host to Raguel, the Friend of God. That certainly sounded like an interesting title to have, especially given her status as a fallen angel. Nevertheless, Sal decided to walk over to the girl who hosted the angel. Once he was near her, he simply said, "hello there Miss. I have something rather important I'd like to talk to you about."
