Richard had woken up that morning being rather unsettled by something. He hadn't thought about it much at the time, simply because he was so dead set on some sort of arbitrary vengeance that wasn't even his own. It belonged to an angel that hadn't even shown himself for quite some time now, and so Richard was actually able to think things through clearly. Picking himself up out of bed, he felt as though he needed some sort of answers in order to satiate this feeling of his. Thankfully, they had just picked up a few people who might be able to do just that.

He reviewed just who they were and who would be the best to ask his question to. There were both Henrik's children. One of which looked rather angry for the good few minutes they were together, and one who looked more or less passive to everything that was happening. There was the one with the horns, who didn't seem to mind them either. Then there was the one who bared a striking resemblance to Mali, though in appearance alone and not the air she exuded. Out of the three of him, he figured that the one who most likely family to Mali and the horned one, who he was pretty sure was there at the battle outside the church, would be the best to ask. And as such, he decided on the horned one, seeing as he was the closest to being in league with the other opponents as possible. Granted, he wasn't awake yet, and Richard didn't want to be some creepy man who just busted into a teens room and watched awkwardly over them while they slept...that would be just plain weird. And so he sat down and waited for the boy to wake up.

After about a few seconds of reaching hell, they had found Azazel, the actual angel rather than just the person who was hosting her. Well, this was probably a sign of bad things to come. Regardless, they had found her and that was about half the mission done. Henrik was there as well. Apparently he had found his way in hell, probably where the portal he decided to leap through mid battle lead to. And they had Sam's son. Wow, easiest mission ever. As it turns out, Soren, the male nephilim, was perfectly capable of making his own hellfire portals and was about to leave anyway. Well that could've gotten awkward if they all left and then there was no one down for Richard and Sam to actually find. Regardless, Soren started making his own portal, and whether he was aware and liked it or not, Richard ended up helping him because for all of his experience, that Richard was to just assume he had, he was still transporting ten people from hell to earth, which was no simple task, so yeah.

With them now in this town, which by the way Richard had no idea why Soren actually knew where they were supposed to be or how Henrik knew they were all passed out, Richard simply followed the compass that Sam had been given until they finally rendezvoused with the rest of the group and then Richard fell asleep there.

Brandon had woken up after being launched far and away from the church in one move that he didn't quite get what had happened and probably never would how everything just sort of blew up in a matter of seconds despite seemingly nothing happening at all. Well, at least all of the demons seemed to clear out, but now there wasn't any sort of fodder for the newbies to gain exp off of. Yes, after being knocked out for three days this is the first thing that runs through his head. Regardless, eventually they had found out that they were supposed to go on some grand quest to find...something that Brandon didn't quite understand, but what he did understand was that they were to go and help the new recruits get to a good level of strength. So with that, the entire gang, who wasn't going with Xana to do secret covert operation things or whatever she was going to do, went to the nearest city to go seek refuge and training spots and stuff. With that, Brandon fell asleep and Sal went with Hana to do whatever as well.

Richard was listening to Sam speak and simply nodded. A rescue operation? Well at least it was something to do that wasn't nothing. After everything that had happened, Richard didn't entirely feel like just letting things happen without any say in them. For the most part, Richard didn't really didn't need to do any prep work in order to get ready to go with Sam, but he did remember that he still had the blades on him. Grabbing them out of his pocket, he created mist that grabbed the wands and whisked them away to their appropriate wielder. With that done Richard turned back to Sam and said,
"wait, I need to check if I left the sink running...But seriously I'm ready." Richard wasn't one to normally joke around, and wasn't entirely sure why he did, but regardless he was ready to go. He wasn't entirely sure how they'd deal with the fact that Richard didn't actually know how to speak any other language other than his native one, but this would hopefully solve itself out when they got to hell.

Richard had been rather out of it for the past few days. One second he was fighting with the angel of death, Alistair, and the next he was out. He had next to no idea what had actually happened and wasn't gaining any helpful insight from Maalik, who made himself scarce these days. Granted, he was currently out of it and had no bearing on time whatsoever. Having yet to open his eyes, he didn't even really know what time of day it was. What he did know, was that there was something poking his face. This was annoying. Slowly opening his eyes he saw that Sam was poking him with a blood stained rebar. Sanitary. Raising his hand and pushing the metal piece away from his face, Richard pulled himself up and looked at Sam. "Was there something you needed?"

Richard was none too pleased with how things were looking now. His strike had been blocked by Alistair, he was told that his task wasn't going to be made any easier by him and then muttered what sounded like a genuine apology. That wasn't something he was expecting, but he wasn't going to let it deter him. If this man was going to bar his way towards getting rid of that dark angel then he wasn't going to go easy on him either. The situation was worsening for them though, as Mali had left with the other child, and the winged demon had landed, spawning more demons in his wake. Well this was going to be a challenge.

As Alistair brought his other hand to the handle of his blade, he attempted to push Richard back with his own blade. However, Richard wasn't going to let him get the better of him that easily. Turning his body so that the blade wouldn't cut him once his own was pushed away, Richard retracted his saber back to wand form, only to instantly go back into sword form and reignite. He then brought his blade towards Alistair to cut straight through him.

Richard hadn't seen Hana and the others coming back this early. Well that was a good surprise to say the least. Not to mention Henrik had come back to thank him and get ready to engage as well. Leon had arrived as well and same with Sam. The only plot twist that had just been thrown out there was that the nephilim child that Mali was holding, that kind of came out of nowhere, was actually Hana's...when did that happen? It was obvious who the father was, especially because he seemed ready to explode both literally and metaphorically. As Alistair and some other horned nephilim person moved into position, Mali stood there, and Temeluchas, who looked completely different from when last they met, was paralyzed by the something Hana was doing.

Richard was tired of having all of these formalities go around. He drew out his blade, El-Harriss, and ignited it. He was ready to bring all of his foes down before him to stop them from doing whatever they wanted. He had a feeling based on Temeluchas's attitude, she usually got what she wanted. He was ready to change that. And he wasn't going to wait for them to make the first move towards them. "Hello again, Temeluchas. Sorry, but this time your not going to get out of here. We are going to stop you." With that, Richard started radiating mist off of his body, essentially blanketing him, as he stepped slowly forward. He continued slowly advancing towards the dark angel until he was suddenly gone. Using the angel's ability to teleport short distances, he appeared right before the dark angel and brought his sword down on her. The mist blanketing him was to extinguish any hellfire mist that would come towards him and prevent it from making any contact with him.[DOUBLEPOST=1394657561][/DOUBLEPOST]Brandon had been rather elated to see all of his friends come back, but El didn't really seem to enjoy the fact that the blades were not on hand right now. It was then after he spoke that one of the new people, someone around his age, walked over to him and poked him right in the cheek. It was at that moment he could've sworn he heard a clap of thunder...but decided not to follow up on that at all since he was pretty sure it was nice and sunny out. The girl then introduced herself and wondered if he felt anything strange...other than her finger in his face. But apparently he was the only one reacting to this something strange...and he had no idea what that meant.

Regardless, Brandon felt that she since introduced herself, he should go out and introduce himself. "Hey there Min, my name is Brandon, angel of lightning." With that he made a small current flow through his hand to show off. However, when Brandon had said her name, a curious look came towards him from El. No idea what that was about. Going into a thinking face again he started pondering this something strange. Thinking about it further, he eventually started to feel that his lightning was trying to form on its own to try and being attracted like a magnet towards Min. Of course, Brandon kept it under control, but that was definitely strange. "Well, I'm not entirely sure about this whole "reaction" thing, but there's definitely something interesting going on. Regardless, it's a pleasure to meet you."

Well this was certainly an unexpected day. After Sal had had his conversation with Richard over the phone, one that he didn't actually own, the recruits and recruiters were all packed and ready to get going. As they traveled, they eventually made their way back to the whole church area, only for Hana to stop them all. She apparently wanted to go ahead and assist the others while Sal, Vincent, Kai, and Logan were tasked with helping the newbies get to sanctuary. She seemed dead set on doing this, so Sal had no objections to the determination in this woman. It was then that Min, Remiel's host, let out an exclamation of surprise as she heard Kai "speak." After Vincent told them to get going Sal nodded saying, "it isn't too much longer from here, the only problem might be the small amount of demons we'll encounter."

Continuing to walk forward and helping pick off any strays that wandered towards them, eventually it was just a straight shot to the door and so they all booked it. Sal kept to the back to make sure nothing dangerous came out after them, and when everyone was safely inside, he was greeted by Brandon, who seemed to be standing guard here. "El!" Well he hadn't changed at all in the past five days...not surprising. "You and the guys made it back!" He continued looking at them until his expression went to extreme joy at the sudden realization. "Woo! You got new crew mates too! Right on!"

Sal sighed a bit with a grin on his face. He then looked up and said, "now I'd love to chat about all that's happened but there's a large confrontation going on outside and in the event that things get dicey, and just because it's nice to have, we need the angel's swords. So where are they?"

Brandon looked at him for a bit, and looked like he was trying to recall something. He then snapped his fingers and said, "oh right. Wealthard took him to give to you guys outside when you got back...guess that didn't work out." Well...that was great.

Stratos had been rather happy with the way things had been going up to this point in the fight. Beuce had finally started doing something. Granted, he seemed to be completely spacing out and looked like he was trying to think of something really important. Only for him to ask something like he was some sort of obsessive compulsive gun slinging kiddie, and wonder about some weird triangle or whatever. It was then that Beuce rushed towards the opponent and attacked him and continued to fight only for him to get backed up by Kel to fight the man head long as well. Just as he had planned. Ana was busy firing lightning bolts at the dude, and that was good too because more damage meant this weapon freak would probably go down faster.

So that just left Stratos with fulfilling his role as magic attacker as well. However, he was kind of worried about how he would do that at all. Seeing as he had already cast two spells already, and that he only had 1 MP left, he wasn't going to be able to keep up this constant barrage of attacking from behind forever. So he had one blizzard left to use, and if he didn't then he wouldn't be doing as much damage as he could be, but his physical attack stat was nothing to brag about. Not to mention he felt way weaker than when he left the land of depar- oh hey wouldn't you know. Stratos suddenly felt like he was wayyyy stronger than before. Like whoa, he felt his raw vitality go up to the point where he could actually fight things and not die in just a few hits. Not to mention his skin felt more like iron than it did before, physical attacks beware. Also, what the hell was this new magical defense thing he felt inside of him. That was certainly new. While physically he felt the same, magically he felt his powers had risen to levels that were probably on par as to what they were before. Finally, he felt like he had more capabilities in terms of skills he could use and just general things.

Thinking of just what these capabilities entailed, his mind raced as he knew what he had to do in order to fulfill his role as magical damager tank...dude. Minus the tanking part because that wasn't his role and the others were pretty well suited for that anyway. At least he thought they were since he didn't think front line fighters would be particularly squishy. Regardless, Stratos went to go do his master plan. While Gilgamesh was facing Kel and Beuce, Stratos began running only to break into a sudden burst of dodge rolling. Why? Because rolling was way faster than running, duh. Rolling between the legs of the multi armed multi weaponed foe, Stratos looked to his friends and said, "yo," giving them a short wave. He then channeled some of his magical energy in order to help them out and do something completely out of nowhere. As Gilgamesh advanced on the three now Stratos then used the power of the earth that he had recieved and cast mine square, creating a layer of mines between him and Gilgamesh, only for the man to actually walk into them and explode. Dealing the damage, Stratos began dodge rolling the hell out of there so that Gilgamesh's fury wouldn't completely kill him. Getting back near Ana, who was probably ready to cast more magic, he then waited for the next round of attacks against this man.

Richard had awoken to a bit of an unsettling feeling. He didn't quite know what it was, but he was sure it would be solved soon enough. As he stretched himself out, he heard a phone go off. He didn't really know who it belonged to, but he grabbed it anyway as no one else was awake yet. Answering it, he said,
    "hello?"

"Hello there and good morning Richard." That voice was familiar. He was pretty sure it belonged to Sal, who last he checked, was on a recruitment mission in Singapore. "Right right, well we've finished our recruitment and the compass is only pointing in your general direction. As such, I'm fairly sure we've finished all the recruiting we can, for now at least, and are headed back to the church as we speak."

"Alright then, be careful, the place is swarming with demons and we've already had a nephilim try to break in and do whatev-...fuck."

"Something the matter?" Richard had just realized what was off. That little brat wasn't here anymore. Hell, he didn't really care about her leaving, but there was something unsettling about the girl just wandering around doing her own business in the church. If she managed to go and find Leviathan than that would be bad news...though her hellfire presence wasn't anywhere at all, so Richard had assumed that she simply left.

"Never mind it. We'll probably all catch you up when you get here. I'll come and meet you outside as your probably going to need more to help defend the new recruits. Anyway, see you soon." Richard hung up the phone and put it back where he had gotten it from. He got himself ready to go outside and meet with the others. He got the blades out and pocketed them. As Brandon sprung up and out of bed, Richard turned to him and said, "Brandon, I'm going out to meet up with the others. Tell the others when they get up and make sure nothing comes in while I'm gone." Brandon saluted, and Richard simply left the room. Going through the Sanctuary, Richard opened up the door only to see something that he was non too fond of. There she was, the blonde haired girl sauntering off with a swagger in her step. Making a hand out of his hellfire mist, Richard sent it streaming towards her and grabbed at her hair. "Now just where do you think you're going?"

Well okay, things hadn't gone as planned at all. Like, literally at all. Sal was expecting someone to just go and volunteer, like Logan eventually did for the second time now, and just sort of go in and see where her head was at or something. Then Lucius was, well, Lucius and decided to go in and be Lucius. After some sort of crazy shenanigan that ended with Lucius basically barging into two classrooms explaining that they needed Remiel's host for something or whatever, and then bam, she ended up being a part of their team. Apparently she had talked this through with her mother and was just now pissed that they had made such a scene for her to get out of school. Whatever, results were results. And if she ended up on the team, that was good. Her being pissed would probably take a bit of time to get over, but he had every bit of faith that this new recruit was going to work out. Boarding the plane once everything was done with, they took off and were on their way to where the compass was pointing to. Which was in the direction of South America, because Sal's an RP character and has a GPS in his brain. He knows these things. That and there was literally nothing else east of this country that they shouldn't have bumped into already. Perhaps it was finally time to reunite with the group. With that, Sal fell asleep.

Richard had sat there rather bored for like, all day. He was waiting for Henrik to wake up so he could explain what he was going to do and gain consent from the man before actually doing it. But instead, he had stayed asleep for the entire day. Wonderful. Well, no point in waiting around for this man to regain consciousness while he could just end up dying in his sleep. Richard was about to begin a procedure of ambiguous finesse and delicacy, an operation that he had literally never performed in his life as a fallen angel. You know, all three months. So Richard rolled up his sleeves that may or may not exist...**** i don't know, I haven't decided clothing for him. He had no idea what he was going to do, and Maalik wasn't showing up at all. Guess it was just going to have to be all instinct.

He then went to stand over Henrik's body and stuck one finger into the air. Atop that finger, a small needle made from white hellfire mist formed in there. Bringing the needle down, it stabbed into Henrik's arm and entered the body in the smallest of holes that quickly burned itself close. Now, what happened next was a bit out of Richard's actual knowledge, but he felt as though he knew just what to do next. Some innate thing from Maalik probably. The white hellfire mist quickly grew and rapidly multiplied inside Henrik as it sought out the black hellfire mist. As things stood, the only reason this was going to work was because Araquiel was not a dark angel. While Dark Angels do not naturally have hellfire, they just acquired it after their fall, Richard could not easily remove it from them as they formed a sort of symbiotic relation with each other. Nephilim, quite like the blonde haired one in the abbey, were that much harder to get rid of the mist from because if they were born with it then it is almost a completely natural part of their being. However, with a regular angel, the hellfire mist was completely parasitic. It fed off the user and lowered their overall state of being to the point of death. But the body went through a sort of rejection process and wanted to be rid of the mist as soon as it could, so overall it would actually assist Richard's mist in the purge.

The mist that he had inserted would work under the same principle as his hellfire extinguish ability. The mist would simply seek out the unnatural one, and devour it. Once all the black hellfire mist was gone, the white mist would stay to help the body not go into shock about the sudden loss of something, even if it was detrimental. Then slowly the white mist would dissipate until the body was completely cured and all traces of hellfire mist were gone. This process would not be instantaneous, nor would it be comfortable at all, but it would work fast enough and save the man from getting consumed by the hellfire. Well, that took like no time. Richard watched as Brandon came back in, saying that nothing had happened today, and fell asleep. Richard then waited for everyone else to fall asleep before he did, just to keep guard.

Stratos had had absolutely no idea what he was supposed to make of his blizzard magical attack. Really, there was no sense of scale that he had to back him up with, but he figured that saying that the foe before them, Gilgamesh, wasn't that affected by the attack. Despite his extremely goofball persona that he had, there was some underlying sense of extreme severity and actual threat, so these results weren't entirely unexpected. As far as the rest of the team was handling it, though, Ana was trying to brace herself for any kind of attack that Gilgamesh could throw at her. He assumed that she was not entirely confident in her defensive capabilities. Next was Kel. Kel simply looked ready to attack and take Gilgamesh down alongside Beuce, as part of Beuce's master plan. Granted, he could and probably would have to switch to fighting up close as well anyway, but at least his guardian path powers would allow him to take the hits. Meanwhile, Beuce himself was...not doing anything. For whatever reason, his actions could only be described as being in a state of limbo, both happening and yet with the sense that they have yet to happen making it impossible to tell what was actually happening with him.

As things stood though, Startos still had a good two spells in him left before he had to resort to that kind of attacking. Clutching onto his unbound keyblade he decided to start charging up his spell again...and by charge he meant more or less point and fire in like, less than a second because casting times were pretty much none here. He then thought about how he should use this blizzard spell of his. Obviously, continuing to just fire it at the man's torso would probably prove to be extremely useless, since it was more likely than not to not do much damage at all. So instead, he aimed his Unbound keyblade towards the one Gilgamesh's arms. Perhaps, if he were to hit the multi armed man with a large chunk of ice on one of his arms, it would cause him to drop one of his blades...maybe...Really that kind of mechanic probably didn't exist, but hey, it was worth a shot. And less arms means less weapons and less weapons would probably end up benefiting the other two, Kel and Beuce, with their job.

So, with his keyblade pointed towards one of the many arms of Gilgamesh, he felt the cold icy feeling of the magic starting to form on the tip of his keyblade. Steadying his arm to make the shot more precise, Stratos had eventually gotten the perfect shot down. All that was left was simply shouting the spell's name to cast it, and thus Stratos said, "Blizzard" and fired off the chunk of ice towards the arm of Gilgamesh. Despite the four of them going against only one guy, and despite any strategy they may have, Stratos had a feeling this was going to take a lot longer, and that they weren't even a third of the way done with this fight yet.

    Origins

[/url]Weee~ School had finished rather nicely for this young girl and she was just going to go milling about the day as she always had. Like a good defender of the light, chosen of Yggdrasil, yada yada yada, would! This involved simply strolling around the area, looking for a place to spring into action and be helpful! It was here, Twilight City, where the most amount of trouble was found...okay that probably wasn't true, but it was the only place she had really explored for finding said trouble. She was a helpful person, but not that helpful that she would go into far away places. No no. Especially when this place was swamped as it was. As she perused the streets, she saw something rather interesting. Down an alley way, there was just some weird black blobby thing, wriggling, writhin- OH! Right, the heartless. She was wondering what it was doing back there, only for it to turn around and notice her. As it saw her, it slowly crept forward, and so Amethyst had to go and do her civic duty...and kill the shit out of it.

Her job suddenly became more annoying as roughly four more heartless appeared to spawn out of the ground and waddle their way towards her. Taking off her play face and going into her more serious expression, she had her blade knuckles materialize within her hands. She then decided that they were taking way too long to get to her, so she sped things up. Running towards them, she first slammed her fist downward and instantly killed the first heartless. The two others jumped at her from the side, only for her to take both of her fists and use the blades coming out of the sides of them to stab them in midair. With that, only two remained, which simply tried a frontal approach. As they leaped towards her, she punched the both of them, killing them instantly as well. Well, that was a good days load of work. She was rather interested in just what these heartless really were, and why they were even spilling into here in the first place. Unfortunately killing them as soon as they appeared yielded little in any sort of breakthrough...but hey, it was the only thing she could do. So with that, she simply continued to walk along the street, looking for any more heartless to spawn and kill.

    DAY 78
    Monday, December 9th, 2013

Richard awoke that morning ready to get the things he had to get done, done. Sure, now that they were all back in the church, Leviathan's prison was easily much safer than it was earlier, but the fact of the matter was that safer did not mean safe. If they were going to secure this place, and make sure that the beast underneath wasn't going to awaken, they were going need to need to stop just hiding in this building. Eventually, they were going to have to push out and defeat all those that would try to control this beast, or else they would ultimately fail. Not to mention the whole situation with Joslyn and not knowing at all what was going on with her.

Despite these prominent objective, there was still the two problems that were right in front of him. There was the obvious one. The one that had to do with the blonde nephilim girl just being in here. According to Brandon, she had tried to kill the both of them, him and Henrik, on two separate occasions. Not to mention that she was most likely here to release Leviathan as well, which was completely not good at all as well. He was honestly not sure why she was even still in here, seeing as this seemed like one of the worst places to keep a prisoner, and if she had attacked twice before then outside of the church clearly couldn't be that bad for her. Regardless, she was going to need to be kept under watch and not do anything, lest they kill her and/or throw her out.

The next problem was one that not many people were probably aware of. Richard felt pretty blind to the fact that Henrik had Hellfire within him. That was not a good thing at all. Araquiel was neither a dark angel, nor was he Maalik, and so any trace of hellfire within him was unnatural and unhealthy. Now, the hellfire within his body was going on a rampage and it was clear that the fallen angel's body was going to be deceased soon if no action was taken against it. Thankfully, Richard's skill set did indeed include a means to get rid of the hellfire within the man, after all, he was the guardian of this stuff. However, Richard would wait for the man to become conscious before taking any action, and would keep a watchful eye out for the nephilim girl. He also noticed the peppy white haired boy, Brandon, wake up and leave the room, presumably to go on guard duty.
[DOUBLEPOST=1394072033][/DOUBLEPOST]Sal had awoken that morning feeling like they had to get **** done now. If they didn't recruit this day then it would probably just end up not being worth it. Granted, they had spent about four days on Alejandra. Granted, he was also was busy trying not to be sacrificed to Pagan Gods during that time, so he didn't know that exact circumstances of that. Regardless, once he had woken up and the rest of the group as well, they had decided to start going on their way to talk to the host of Remiel once more. Following the compass, they had made their way to the school where they had met her the first day, with Sal and gang getting out. Opening the floor, Sal said, "so, should we all go in there, or are there any volunteers?"

After trudging their way through the outskirt area to the main area in front of the door, the entire gang, including any and all who fell asleep before now for whatever inexplicable reason. Now with that done, Richard stood at the rear until everyone had managed to pile their way through the door, and make it inside the church. So, with that done, Richard entered the church itself and felt pretty odd about it. It's like they had just gone from a survival horror zone straight into a war zone. At least the church provided some form of sanctuary, but regardless, all of them were now here and were ready to do whatever it took to guard this place. So, having said that, Brandon was there to greet everyone and tell them of the "wonderous tales that he and 'Heinry' had ended up having together against a girl named 'Malo.'" This kid needed to learn names properly. Regardless, he went to go check out who this, 'Malo,' person was, only to find that there was this nagging sensation in the back of his head telling him exactly what she was. Apparently, her very existence was a 'blight on the world,' but Richard was able to shrug this off rather easily. There was, however, one thing especially that drew his attention. It was the radiating sense of hellfire eating away at someone. Looking to where the source of this misplaced hellfire was, it turned out it had belonged to none other than Henrik himself. Richard realized that he was probably going to have to do something about this soon, or else this hellfire was going to go out of control. But before then, the man in question was already out, and Richard himself was feeling a bit tired. Portal making was hard work after all. So he found a place to sleep and went to bed. Brandon followed suit.
