Draconian form: I guess you could say it's...cool. Personality: Has a very cold air about him. Often times he acts like he’s uncaring towards others and often gives his own blunt opinions about things. For the most part, he thinks that he is always right. Bio: Snow grew up to be the best. He wasn’t in a wealthy family, he wasn’t in a successful family and as such, his father decided to push him to quite the limits. Because of this, Snow had to shut out much of a social life, couldn’t really take any non-academic activities, and overall was deprived of most things that most people have normally, he developed a bit of a cold exterior. Nevertheless, he was never unhappy to become the best and eventually went his way to Belloc to see what a boarding school could do for him. Other:
Name: Cheryl Gentry Age/Grade: 16, Year 11 Gender: Female Species: Leviathan Appearance: Swimsuits~ in addition to that she wears shorts and is also seen often wearing flip flops around school. Draconian Form: Rawr Personality: She's quite the happy go lucky female type. Always bounding around with some sort of peppy spirit. Despite this, she is quite the rebellious one who often times likes to do the opposite of what she's told and doesn't make the greatest of students. Still, she's quite the friendly person who can be easy to get along with. The only type she can't get along with is the Ifrits, though that is more due to them being fire and her being water. Though it is more of an age old rivalry type thing rather than full blow racism. Biography: Freedom is something that is usually expected of the garuda. However this one Leviathan found that old nomadic philosophy to be something she could easily resonate with. After all, she always felt that the water was just as vast as the air, so why not spread her non-existent wings and fly through it, enjoying all the time in the world there? With this sort of philosophy in mind, she grew up a bit odder than the norm of society. She really didn't care about what any of her authority figures had to say about her, and never really bothered with what society had to tell her what to do. As such, she became quite the handful for others to deal with, and when they could send her away to a boarding school, they took the chance. Of course she wasn't happy with this sort of a thing, but nevertheless, she went along with it and ended up being enrolled into Belloc. Other:
Sal was quite thoroughly creeped out by what had just happened. All he was doing was just explaining to good old Ariel, er, Leon about why what he said to Hay Sun might not've been the greatest of things to say. Next thing he knew, Leon was flipping out, sort of. He seemed, well, extremely possessive of Hay Sun, or Uriel. Or both. Really, the whole thing just seemed to further weird Sal out and give him an off feeling about Leon. Then Hay Sun came around, got in his face a bit and then proceeded to knock him out through some...angel means probably. 'Is...is he always like this?' "If you are talking about his attachment towards Uriel, then yes, he has, for the most part, always had that. It varies in how visible it is, but he is quite attached to Uriel." 'Good to know.' With not much left to do in the day, Sal decided to fall asleep... on the still flying plane I guess. Flight Limbo and all. Anyway, yeah, Sal went to sleep...goodnight day.

Spoiler: Arbitrary Self Training Post #11 Spoiler: Round 1 So here Sal was, once again in the odd dream world, to fight to his angel's heart's content. If everything followed the usual order than because he just did things that were sun related, he should be moving into the next rank in his earth powers. He hadn't actually used those much yet, but one of these days he was sure it was going to come in handy to have. He stared down at the opposite side from where he was standing to see what was spawning in this round. It was simply seven shadow types. Strength in numbers maybe, but that strength wasn't going to help them against Sal at all. The round started with all of the shadows sprinting at him at quite the ferocious rate, and quite rapidly. Well that was a bit annoying. They did their usual circular motion around Sal and he looked around he was getting himself prepped for a fight against them. They were most likely going to do their usual combinations of various feints followed by actual attacks. That was going to be slightly annoying to deal with but nothing that Sal hadn't dealt with in the past. Looking around Sal saw them beginning to do their usual combination of feints and that's when he knew that the attacks were coming. One launched itself at him, and Sal turned around to meet it head on with his fist. The shadow collapsed instantly on contact with his fist, and then three others shot at him. Sal turned to see the three coming at him from the front only to realize that three from the back were now coming at him as well. Sal kicked backward, punched forward, and then spun kick around killing five of the six shadows. With only one shadow left, it tried to be brave and do super special tactics, to try and beat Sal, but Sal just punched the thing once and it died, thus ending the first round. Spoiler: Round 2 Sal was standing there, kind of thrilled that such a large number of foes were kind of really easy to beat what with just his basic fighting prowess. Now he had to wait for the next opponents of this whole self training thing to spawn in for him to fight. Sal cracked his knuckles and stretched out a bit awaiting his next opponents. He looked over to see that the wisps of darkness forming in were creating his new opponents to be. It was simply two beast types and...seven shadow types again. Well this was probably going to be probably really annoying. Heck he might even lose this round. Oh well. The round started off like one would quite expect it to. The shadows charged at him at their usual speedy manner and the beasts charged at their usual moderately fast manner. Sal watched as the shadow types started to circle around him, getting ready to unleash his unholy holy fury upon them. That's when he realized how awful fighting these things were going to be. Those beasts were going to be on him soon, and fighting a swarm of fasts with a couple of powers spelt bad news bears. Sal was getting ready for the onslaught when he noticed the feints stop and the beasts get right on him. He dodged the first beast's attacks and was getting ready to dodge the second beast's attack when something...bad, happened. He got hit in the back by three shadows all at once and was then met with a large powerful punch, sending him flying. Afterwards, the seven shadows all started dog piling him and were totally beating the ever living **** out of him, before the two beasts came in, grabbed him, and body pressed him. With that done, Sal had lost the round. Spoiler: Round 3 Round three was probably going to be just as awful as round two. Why? Just some sort of gut feeling Sal had. Honestly, being body pressed to death was a new way to go out for him, so he was kind of interested in what other ways they were going to kill him this time...as morbid as that sounded. Maybe he had started to become far too comfortable with dying. Oh well, that wasn't really much of an issue here in this dream world anyway. After Sal had been painfully put back together he got ready to go and get totally killed again this round. The round started off with the shadows and beasts rushing towards him like lunatics. This time there was no circular formation. There were no feints. And there definitely seemed to be less planning involved. Were Sal not expecting something different, aka a more well thought out attack, he probably would've taken them down. Quite easily at that. However he had just lost to a well planned attack, and so he was taken off guard by the sudden surge of attacks towards him. He was able to dodge the first few shadow attacks, and was able to dodge the two beast attacks as well. However, the remaining shadow types were able to hit him, causing him to lose balance and shift around a bit. After picking himself back up, he got ready to bring the pain down upon his foes, only for said foes to now be looming over him and tackling him. After the shadows had effectively just barreled into him, the beasts then finished the deal by tossing his body around like some sort of a rag doll before he finally bit the dust. Spoiler: Round 4 Alright alright, this time, it was going to be way different. Sure the last two rounds he had gotten his ass handed to him, and quite one sidedly he might add, but this time, he just knew that he was going to win. He wasn't going to be tricked by some sort of weird tactic that these creatures came up with out of nowhere. No he was going to beat the **** out of these little asshats and there was no way he was going to get bested by them. This was round four and he was going to kick ass and take names. The round started off with the shadows sprinting off the line and went straight towards Sal. Next up were the two beast types that were coming into to attack him as well. The shadows started circling around him and the beasts then jumped into the circle as well. He swiftly dodged the first attack, and then knew that a barrage of shadows that were going to attack him. Sal then ducked down, and kicked off the second beast, dodging the shadow barrage altogether. Now that he was out of the way, the shadows then went over to try and kill him all at once. He punched the first shadow, killing it, and dodged around the next three. He then punched thrice more at the other three killing them as well. The two beasts were now on top of him, and he simply weaved around them and punched them as well. They were still kicking around, but with the shadows mostly dead, he was feeling more confident than before. The next wave of attacks were much easier to deal with. The shadows went down easily enough, and the next attacks from the beasts were easily and dodgeable and he was easily able to bring them down, thus ending round four. Spoiler: Round 5 So that last round went rather well if Sal did say so himself. It was always a pleasing thing to bring those ****ers who beat him down, but he had to continue thinking forward about this whole training thing. He was curious as to what his next opponent was going to be. Looking over, he saw his new enemies spawning in away from him. Oh how these old foes of him were going to cause distress for him. It was nothing short of three shambler types coming at him. He simply stretched a bit and got ready for whatever this round was going to bring at him. The round started as it would usually with these shambling freaks, and that was simply them firing off tentacles spikes at him in their usual etremely lethal fashion. Sal could only dodge around these attacks and try to plot out some form of counter attack towards these *******s while trying not to die. It was a total of fifteen tentacle spikes coming at him at any given moment, and as such it wasn't entirely the easiest thing to just deal with. Eventually, though, he figured that enough waiting was enough and just went for it. The attacks were coming at him at such a rapid pace that even trying to dodge while moving was proving to be hard. He felt the need to constantly just stop to help further his advance, but he started to realize that this was a bit on the counter-productive side. It was just getting him more cut up and stalled him even furhter. Eventually Sal decided to just charge at the things again, but his body was a bit too damaged to continue running and dodging at such a hurried pace. As such, he eventually fell prey to them and couldn't continue his reckless charge, this causing him to get impaled by all the spikes and sliced to bits before the round was truly over. Spoiler: Round 6 Okay, so that loss was rather embarassing. Really he had no idea why he decided to approach that situation in such a flawed manner, but he did and he had paid the price for it. He started to feel the healing effects of the magic of Zachariel on him once more. Oh good lord how painful this was, but how effective it was. His body was all back up and running, ready and operational and he felt as though he could take on anyone. Granted there were only three oponnents to take on, but hey, he could easily do it. The round started off as it had done so last time. He was simply tasked with avoiding these shambler's attacks. That being said, those attacks consisted of five tentacle spikes from each shambler. So yeah, it was a bit of pain to try and dodge all of it. But he continued to put in his best effort until he finally got a good dodging rhythm going on. Oh man this was quite the good habit to get into really, and he was, at this point, just biding his time and waiting for an attack opportunity to present itself. Sal had eventually found a good time to do some of his usual charging at the oponnent stuff, and dodging all while doing it. He knew that if he was going to have a shot at this, stopping was by no means an option. However, with spirit undettered, he continued going forward until he was close enough to the first shambler and punched it the **** out. With that one dead, the necessary reactions to continue dodging decreased drastically. As such, charging the next two shamblers and punching the **** out of them to win this round, was considerably easier. Spoiler: Round 7 Alright, next thing on the agenda was bringing down his next opponents of course. He felt slightly refreshed after that last fight, and as such, could only get psyched for the next round. However that was not going to be the case for long because he soon realized that he was going to most likely lose this round...just some sort of innate gut feeling that told him so. The enemies that spawned in were nothing more than five shadow types. Two of which were just...average. Three of which, however, had a sun aura blanketing them. Oh well that was a it of a problem. The round started of with the shadow types just rushing straight at him. The sun shadows were clearly ahead of the regular shadows and their speed was far exceeding that of the regulars. So how was a man to deal with this sort of a situation? Sal got ready for the shadows to make their way over to him, and was going to bring the pain down on them with his fists almost immediately. However, the plan went slightly awry when the sun shadows stopped and let the regular shadows pass by them. Sal then went into to punch those two regular shadow types down, only to be met with an immediate counter assault from the sun shadows. Their sudden shift in speed was not something he was entirely expecting, and as such he was taken completely by surprise by it. After getting hit by the attack, he was knocked a bit off balance and the regular shadows then decided to take it upon themselves and beat him up as well. Not being able to move at all under the unrelenting pressure of these extremely fast shadows, Sal was eventually overwhelmed and lost. Spoiler: Round 8 So, that last loss was. admidetly, pretty embarassing. He had lost against an armoy of nothing but shadow types, the weakest of all three archetypes. Oh well. All that meant was that he was going to have to step it up a bit against them in the rematch. Though, he had this odd sense that even now he was more than likely going to lose this round. His body started to repair itself via Zachariel's healing abilities and he slowly picked himself back up, stretched a bit, and was ready to get on with the round. The round started off just as it had with the last one. The shadows all rushed towards him at a breakneck pace in their regular shadow fashion. The two regulars kept to being slower this while the sun shadows started to run extremely fast and started circling around Sal.These fats enemy types were quite difficult to read and so he wasn't entirely sure how he was going to deal with them. It was soon after their circling of him that the shadows started to make their move against him. It started with the sun shadow types sprinting in towards him and then feinting out. Quite annoying really. Then the two regular shadows came in during said feint and hit Sal down. The three sun shadows then followed up their attack and continued to knock Sal around as well. Sal tired to think of what to do in this sort of a situation, but he just really couldn't. Instead, he eventually succumbed to the stupidly fast beat downs and Sal had against this team up again. Boo. Spoiler: Round 9 Well that last round had gone just about as wel as the other round preceding it. That being, it didn't go well at all. Sal's body was extremely battered and bruised and as such, Zachariel's healing started taking place. Once his body was completely and totally repaired, he got up and stretched around a bit, now ready to take on all these shadow enemies. He stared down the shadows and figured it was do or die time against them, and as such, was fully pysched to go on to round nine. Round nine started with the shadows blitzing forward towards him and Sal was ready to bring the darkspawns down. The suns started doing their regular circular notion against him, but they had ended up forming some sort of outer circle around him. Meanwhile, the regular shadows types formed some sort of inner circle around him. He had no idea what tactics they were going for, but he wasn't about to let them go and win again. The shadows started the assault and the two regular ones came in, only to feint out. During this, the sun ones came in, but feinted out as well. This pattern continued until they were ready to strike at the angel man. So, seeing this coming at him, Sal was able to spot when the regular shadows finally began their assault against him. Rather than killing them, though, he simply grabbed them and then tossed them at the now approaching sun shadow types. Two of them smacking into the other two, killed four instantly, and Sal just had to punch out the final sun shadow and won the round. Spoiler: Round 10 Sal had been easily pleased with his victory against those asshat shadows, and was now feeling ready to be able to take on any sort of enemy that could be thrown at him. To help further this confidence boost, there was a sudden glow of green and blue surrounding him. Right on, he was wearing the earth aura now. With this extreme strength increase, Sal was curious as to what his next opponents were going to be, only to see that it was five sun shadow types spawning in. Well this was going to be fu~n. The round started off with the sun shadows sprinting straight towards the angel man. Rather than try some sort of all in rush though, they simply started circling around him at insane speeds like they normally would. Sal was quite curious what kind of strategy that they would imploy this time, and was waiting around for something to happen. It was then that the shadows started to go straight at him, and feint. God, all of this feinting was getting quite annoying to deal with. The sun shadows then began their assault, by having two on opposite sides feint at him, and one attack him right from the get go. When the sun shadow hit him, Sal wasn't exactly able to respond due to its speed. However, he did notice something interesting about the attack. It barely hurt at all. The next two then charged at Sal after he took the hit, and then turned around and punched one while getting hit by the other. As the other one hit him, the last three converged on him only to realize that the blow did not phaze him at all, to which he simply beat the **** out of the last four and ended the round. Spoiler: Round 11 He enjoyed this earth aura, really he did. It made him feel quite powerful to not really feel any attack that an enemy could send at him. The increase in strength was one thing, but the increase in defensive capabilities made it all the better. He knew, though, that was only part of the test and that he was now just reaching the halfway mark for these trials. So what to do other than just continue fighting on. He looked over to see what the enemy spawning in was like, and saw that it was two shadows and one beast, both with sun aura. Well this was going to be fun. So the round started off with the unusual tag team mechanics of the beast and the shadows. That being, the shadows jumping on the beast, and the beast essentially bull charging Sal at sun aura speeds. Well that was certainly not a fun thing he was going to have to deal with at all. The attacks, he figured, were going to be pretty unpredicatable given their incredible speed, but hey, that wasn't going to put Sal down...well at least not this round. The odd combo made their way towards Sal and eventually came in to bring the hurt down on him. The sun beast flung the two sun shadows at him, and they just sort of soared towards the angel man. Due to them being flung and off the ground, they had absolutely no control whatsoever, and as such, Sal punched them both out of the sky before they could become a problem. All that left to deal with was the sun beast, who just sort of charged at Sal. The attacks were slightly hard to dodge, due to them being much faster than usual, but it wasn't something he couldn't handle, and as such he just beat the beast back and ended the round. Spoiler: Round 12 Well that round was solved easily enough, no real challenge there at all. While he wasn't exactly disappointed with the results, he still figured that there was going to be larger challenges ahead in this fight. He looked over to see what his opponents for this round would be to see that it was just two shadows and one shambler. Granted they both had sun auras, but he wasn't exactly seeing the big deal about them. Though he did have this foreboading feeling about it, but decided to brush it off and continue regardless. The round started off as one would expect it to. The sun shadow types sprinted as they usually would and the sun shambler attacked as it usually would. Only there was a large problem with this sun shambler, and that was that it was spewing out six tentacle spikes at him all at once, and they were going really fast. As good as Sal was at dodging these things, he was not nearly well of enough to dodge these attacks unscathed. Granted his earth aura made the damage as less as it could go, and Sal decided not to wait around anymore. As such, he charged at the sun shambler almost immediately after getting into his dodging groove and sprint dodged towards it. This was met with extreme faliure. Why? Well for starters the attacks from the sun shambler were still hitting Sal and so he was still getting injured during this charge. However, the real killer, was the sun shadows attacking him. Normally their attacks wouldn't make him flinch, but they were going for spots already wounded, and as such, Sal lost mobility and got skewered to death by the sun shambler. Spoiler: Round 13 Okay, so that could have gone better had he been paying attention more. Doing these really spaced out was really affecting his memory and he totally forgot that was a thing that the shadows did when in conjunction with the shamblers. Sal felt his mangled mess of a body get healed up and picked himself back up now, getting ready to take these enemies out rather easily now. Why was it goign to be easy this time? Well, it was simply because Sal had a strategy now, and that was that. So the round started off with the enemies doing their usual thing against Sal. That being the good old Sun Shadow sprint and just hang in the back and the sun shambler just starting to go at him with as much ferocity as it could towards him. Sal was sure of what to do now and as such simply started to get into his dodging groove against this six spiked monster that he had to deal with. Once optimal levels of dodging were reached, he had decided that it was time to simply get going and win this round. As such, Sal started rushing towards the opponent that was the shambler, and started sprint dodging. Knowing what was coming up next, Sal did something that he normally doesn't against shamblers. He jumped up into the air and used the strength from the earth aura to bring him down faster than usual. However, when he came down, his feet ended up landing on the sun shadows trying to attack him and as such, he killed them instantly. Now all that was left to deal with was the sun shambler, to which Sal simply ran towards it and punched it the **** out, killing it instantly. Spoiler: Round 14 Sal felt good about that last win. It wasn't everyday that you were able to curb stop your enemies to death quite like that. And not to mention that beating a ****ing sun shambler was an accomplishment in of itself. However, the rounds seemed like they were starting to amp up in difficulty when he saw what his next opponents were going to be. It was simply three shadows and two shamblers. The downside was that all five of them had sun auras. Oh well, he was just going to have to deal with it as best as he could at the moment. The round started off almost identically to the last one...only a lot more chaotic. So what happened now, was that all three shadows did what the last two did and just hung around in the back. The real problem was with the two sun shamblers who were attacking him with a total of eight tentacle spikes, four from each. Sal had no choice but to start dodging as best as he could, but he was starting to have a rather difficult time dodging all eight of them. The other problem here was that Sal did not actually have any sort of plan to go and do this time and could only really resort to yolo charging his enemies. So that's kind of what he did. He ran as fast as he could towards the sun shamblers and tried to avoid damage as best as possible. He noticed the three sun shadows began their advance, and so he did the same thing he did last time against them. He jumped. Only this time, they were expecting it and stopped before being underneath his feet. Having failed the attack, Sal was then hit by the shadows and skewered by the shamblers. Spoiler: Round 15 So, having successfully and completely lost that last round, Sal was pretty sure he needed to revaluate his strategy against these enemies. Clearly just yolo charging them without any sort of prior planning was going to end in him getting killed, so thinking before acting was probably the most important thing to do in this scenario. However, what to do against such a combination was elluding him, until he thought of a brilliant plan as to how to take them down. Alright, after getting fully healed up, Sal was now ready and able to go against these enemies. The round started off like the last rounds had. With that being just all the shadows going to the back row and the sun shambler beginning their relentless assault. Sal had to start dodging a bit better and slightly wished that he had a blade right now. If he had one of those, breaking these spikes and charging would be so much easier than it is right now. Oh well, he had to make due with what he had. That being his quick wits and super strength as it were. When he had finally got into his dodging groove, Sal knew it was as good of a time as any to go in and break some heads open. He rushed forward as fast as possible and dodged as best as he could against the shamblers. When the sun shadows started their charge towards him, Sal put pressure in his legs to appear as if he was jumping. What he actually did, though, was simply duck down, hit the shadows with his legs, and exploded off of them. Having effectively kicked off all the shadows and killed them, Sal then picked himself back up as best he could, ran towards the shamblers, and killed both of them with relative ease. Spoiler: Round 16 Well that was a succsseful win if ever their was one. Getting his minor wounds healed up by Zachariel, he was rather pleased by how that had all gone. In fact, he felt so good about it that he didn't think there was going to be a way he could lose the next round. The round after this one though, he had no idea about. Sal stretched out a bit and saw who his next opponents were. Spawning in away from him, he saw three shadows and two beasts spawn in. They all had sun auras around them. Well this was going to be some jolly old fun. The round started off with the sun shadows leaping on top of a single sun beast and the both of the beasts decided to charge at Sal. It was this sort of awkward combo that he wasn't sure of what to make of, but he wasn't going to let it shake him up at all. So he simply waited around to see what the enemies were going to do as they made their way towards him, only to see the three shadows be flung into the air over him. Huh, well that was an interesting tactic. The tactic, however, was met with complete and utter failure on their part. Sal pumped his fist into the air and easily killed one of the shadows coming down on him. The beasts were then on top of him alongside the shadows, and they were coming to totally kill him. Sal didn't care though, as he simply punched one beast square in the jaw, dodged the second one's punch, sweep kicked around him killing the other two shadows, and uppercut the last beast killing him as well, thus ending the round. Spoiler: Round 17 Alright so here it was. Good old round seventeen. A good deal close to the home stretch he was at this point. Sal, though, felt some odd sense of foreboading during this round as well. Perhaps he was going to lose this round as well? Oh well, as annoying as that would be, he'd learned to live with it...since he wasn't actually going to die from this anyway. Looking over he saw what was spawning in to be nothing more than two shadows and four beasts. However, only two of the four beasts actually had a sun aura on them..while the shadows obviously had an aura on them. The round started off with the four beasts all running side by side...or rather pair by pair since two were faster than the other two. The shadows did not jump on the beasts this time, however, and instead were just charging him as they normally would. So Sal figured he'd have to go and do something about them, so he simply bided his time waiting for the shadows to come towards him until they stopped and let the sun beasts come forward as well. Only they stopped as well. This left only two regular beasts to try and punch his lights out, to which Sal easily avoided their attacks and then went for a counter on both of them. He then was met with utter defeat. The sun shadows then attacked his legs, not really hurting that much, but still getting hit in the shins hurts, and was met with the real whopper of the gang. The regular beasts were simply a distraction as the sun beasts came in and punched his lights out. Well that hurt a lot, and they continued to do so until Sal was completely knocked the **** out and lost. Spoiler: Round 18 There were times when Sal was a complete and utter badass. There were other times where he seemed to be relatively human and could easily get his ass kicked. This was one of the latter. Sal felt the restoritave properties of Zachariel's healing on him as he stepped up and out of it feeling ready to take on that challenge again. Okay, so he needed to have some sort of a plan to deal with that sort of bait and switch or else he was going to lose again...and that'd be no bueno. The round started off like the last one had. The pairs of beasts charged forward and the pair of shadows sprinted towards him as well. Sal was getting ready to bring down the hammer on all of these enemies when the sun shadows stopped in their tracks. Next, the sun beast stopped as they approached him, leaving only the regular beasts to go in and try to kill him. This was happening nearly identical to the last fight, and Sal was sure he knew how to deal with it now. The two regular beasts came in with their punched, and rather than kill the beasts, he just dodged the attacks and waited for the next slew of enemies to come at him. Only they didn't, so Sal simply killed one of the beasts with a hard punch to the face, and saw the shadows approach him as fast as possible. He curb stomped one of them, punched the beast, and kicked the other shadow. With only two sun beasts left Sal figured he could hand himself well. As they came in with their attacks, Sal had to dodge, and he just barely managed to do so, before ending the fight with two great punches to all the beast's faces. Spoiler: Round 19 Alright, so here it was, the penultimate round as things would seem. Sal was quite looking forward to his challenge that he was going to presented with here. That challenge being whatever he was going to have to deal with in this round. Okay, so he was almost positive he was going to lose this round, because he always did, and just figured that he'd still put his best effort into it. Seeing his enemies spawn in, it was nothing more than two shadows, two beasts, and two shamblers...all with sun auras...great. So the round started off with the everyone doing their usual thing really. The sun shadows ran around him, the beasts ran to his sides to flank him, and the shamblers just tried to straight up murder him with their tentacle spikes. Sal's only action he could take at the moment was to dodge, and that was not going to be the most effective action, he figured. So, what should he do? Well he didn't quite know, but he was getting slightly cut up from the spikes, and was not enjoying it one bit at all. Eventually though, he decided that enough was enough, and just went in to go and try to kill these shamblers. As he was expecting, the shadows were trying to attack him from behind, so he just jumped to the side only to get caught by a sun beast, and thrown like a rag doll. He was then thrown the air to the other one, who simply punched him downward and then was met with a very violent stabbing from the sun shamblers. So yeah, the stabbing was not exactly the most pleasurable thing in the world and he eventually just lost. Spoiler: Round 20 Alright so that round could've gone better...by a lot you know? Oh well, that wasn't going to real stop him from giving it his all against them this time anyway, so he was just going to put his best effort into killing the **** out of these cretins and win. After all, it was the final round, and it was his time to shine against the same enemy type he had just lost again, just as he would do every other time. After getting all patched up and ready to go, Sal faced down his opponents and was ready to start round twenty. Alright, so here was how things were going to go now. Well, obviously the round was going to go and start the same way as it always had. But that was a given as it always was. Sal simply started dodging the onslaught of endless attacks by the sun shamblers and paid attention to where all the enemies were. The shadows behind him, the beasts to his side ready to pincer, and the shamblers in front. After getting a good plan worked out in his head, Sal then began his charge towards the enemies. Running and dodging was still as difficult as it had always been, but hey, it's not like he could really change anything about that right? It was then that he noticed the sun shadows running after him, that his plan was going to start. Jumping to the side, Sal kicked off the beast waiting there for him, going to the side and kicking off the next beast, killing both of them, and then landing on top of the two sun shadows. He then went over and started sprinting towards the shamblers and punched the **** out of them and killed the shamblers instantly, thus completing earth rank three. Spoiler: Round 1 After finishing off all of the enemies of the earth challenge, as per the usual an orb that glowed the colors of the earth aura had appeared. As such, Sal just grabbed it and absorbed the energy from it, meaning he was expecting an end...but clearly one wasn't happening yet. So what happened other than, well a black orb appearing in front of him. With a hilt sticking out of it, Sal grabbed it and revealed his Baselard to be the item within the confines of the orb. Okay then, more sword action was fun. Seeing whow was spawning in now, he was apparently going up against a knife type and a short sword type. So the fight started off with the two bladed enemies advancing slowly on Sal's position and all he really did was bring up his baselard to defend against any strike they might send at him. Slowly but surely they made it over, at which point they started striking at him with all the ferocity they could, and as such Sal continued to block against each attack after attack from the two. The strikes from both were swift, but they weren't exactly difficult to fend off. When he was ready, Sal decided to go in for his own counter attack. He started with the knife type first, striking at it after it had failed to hit him. The knife type dodged away, and the short sword type then tried to go in for the kill, only for Sal to block the attack, and then strike at the short sword type, causing it to get a long cut on its arm. The knife type then tried to attack him again, and then Sal simply parried the blade away and struck down the knife type with ease. With that out of the way, Sal then finished the short sword type off and killed him as well, ending that round. Spoiler: Round 2 With that fight out of the way, the only remnants of it was a giant black orb that formed in front of Sal. Sal decided to just plant the baselard in it and watch it sink in, only for it to spew out the short sword hilt as it usually would. Now with the short sword in his posession Sal just needed to fight the next wave of enemies that would come after him. Those spawning in would be the short sword type and the ever so dreadful knight type. Sal had still not actually thought of a proper way to deal with these things yet, but oh well. The round started off with slow advances from both parties. Only the knight was slower than the short sword, as if it just wanted to fight Sal mono y mono. Well, he could deal with that...sort of. He knew he could deal with the short sword type at the very least, but regardless, he looked towards it and began and advance of his own. He struck at the short sword, who blocked his strike, but then struck faster this time at an unguarded area. The short sword was dead pretty quick actually. However, upon the death of the short sword type, the knight type then just continued to advance forwards toward Sal and strated attacking him. Sal barely had any time to react before blocking with his own blade. The attack sent him back a bit, but Sal perservered and struck back at the knight. The knight type simply used its buckler to defend against the attack, and Sal had to back off immediately to avoid the slash its arm blade. With nothing much left to do, Sal fake threw the short sword at the knight, and then went over and cut it while it was still reacting, thus ending the round. Spoiler: Round 3 With the death of the knight type, Sal only could speculate what would happen next...other than the obvious immediate thing that would happen. That being the large black orb that spawned in front of him that he would have to use. Planting the short sword into the orb, the blade sunk and out came a hilt. Pulling the hilt out, Sal was quite pleased to see his trusty old longsword. Waving it around a bit first, Sal then spotted his challenges. It was simply four shadow types, only two of them earth auras. Okay so the round started off with the shadows charging almost immediately at Sal, as they always would. Sal was not fond of earth shadows at all, as they were still insanely fast and could actually hurt him now. Annoying really. The four shadows, though, only circled around him and looked ready to do something. He was positive that there was going to be some form of feinting against Sal, but he was not exactly caring about that at the moment. He just needed to time his strikes and all would be fine. The shadows then began their feinting, and the two regular shadows then came charging straight towards Sal. All he had to do was wait until- there it was. The two regular shadows came at Sal, and he didn't entirely respond to them. He rather just jumped in the air, avoiding their attack altogether, and then striking at the two earth shadows that were coming after him. He was sure that those regulars were just bait, and so having been proven right, Sal had killed all the shaodws with relative ease. Spoiler: Round 4 Alright, so that round was rather easy actually. Nothing short of a bit of planning sense that came on and off depending on whether or not he was supposed to lose a round. But since this was a sword round, he was supposed to win 'em all. Regardless of that, Sal still did enjoy the feeling of using his long sword and knew that it was going to be his preferred weapon for a while. That's when the next round hit. He saw his enemies spawn in to be nothing more than some earth shadows and and an earth beast. The round started off with the gang of creatures just charging at him in their usual manner. He was pretty sure that it was going to be nothing too big to worry about, so he just brought up his long sword and got ready for whatever they were going to do. The two shadows had hopped on the beast and they were now charging at him, so he was pretty sure he could end this all in one clean sweep. With the beast closing in on him, he got ready to end this entire round pretty quickly. Only, once the beast got close, it threw the shadows at Sal. Now that was slightly easy to deal with and Sal just sort of sliced the both of them in half in one clean strike, but was still hit by their flying corpses. It was then that the beast came at him, and Sal just cut at the beast. Unfortunately, this things skin was like, made of stone, and it was really hard to get the damage he did off anyway. The beast continued to punch at Sal, and having to exert more effort than usual, Sal killed the earth beast and ended round four. Spoiler: Round 5 Having dealt with that combo fairly easily Sal was now ready to move on to the next round of monsters to see what he was going to be dealing with this time. He slashed his longsword around a bit trying to get over how much he loved the thing and realized that the enemies were getting harder to kill now that they had the earth aura around them. He figured he knew what was going to happen in this round, though he wasn't one hundred percent sure. Anyway, the things spawning in were nothing more than just two earth shadows and one earth shambler type. Alright then, that was going to be quite the fight to deal with. The round started as one would it expect it to, that being just good old fashion shadows running straight towards Sal and the earth shambler firing off its tentacle spikes straight at Sal. Sal, of course, attempted to dodge these spikes and was then met with the horrifying realization that these shadows could actually do some good damage against him. Furthermore, while he could still cut through the tentacle spikes, the effort it took to do so became so great that he deemed it a tad inefficient. Oh well. So, after getting into his dodging groove enough, Sal started to run towards the earth shambler as quickly as he could. Unfortunately, the earth shadows were now on his tail as well, making it some what dangerous from the get go. However these shadows, while having the earth aura, were still easily killable and so he wasn't going to be dettered by them at all. So what he did was do a quick spin attack as they charged at him, and continued forward, threw the longsword at the shambler, killed it, and ended the round. Spoiler: Round 6 Alright, so Sal was feeling pretty confident in himself after having successfully destroyed all those differing combos of enemies. Sal was now wondering just what exactly he'd be going up against next in this round of swording. It was then that the wisps of darkness started to billow up and reveal a new form of enemy. This enemy had the same build as the knight type, and furthermore it was armored as well. The only real different thing about it was that rather than a longsword arm...it had a ****ing great axe for an arm. Oh, well this was going to be quite the different fight. Sal gripped his longsword tightly and was curious as to what the creature here was going to do. It just slowly advanced towards Sal and he was holding his ground. The creature seemed to be just lugging its great axe arm around, kind of like it was a big weight for it to deal with, and finally got a close enough distance away from Sal that it felt like it should do something. That something being bringing its giant axe arm down on Sal's position in an attempt to completely murder him. Sal realized that trying to block this attack would be extremely stupid, so instead he just sort of dodged out of the way, feeling the force of the blow ripple through the ground. The creautre than brought the axe off the ground and swung it towards Sal, to which he had to duck down to completely avoid. With the beast now open from its wide swing, Sal ran in and slashed at the thing with his longsword. It was busy trying to bring its arm back around only for it to be completely defeated and killed. Spoiler: Round 7 After Sal killed the great axe knight type enemy, now deemed earth sword, he was gifted with a blue, green, and black orb. Thikning it was quite like all the other sword orbs, Sal stuck his longsword in there and watched it sink in. After the blade was gone, a long handle burst out of the orb to which Sal grabbed and tried to pull out. The handle was stuck. So, Sal eventually just started pushing up on the handle to have a great axe pop out of it. Badass. Sal then looked over to see his enemies spawning in, that being six earth shadows, and thought of how much fun this was going to be. Sal brought the great axe up and rested it on his shoulder, ready to take on these things. The shadows did their usual shadow thing and just rushed forwards towards him. Sal was going to just slash at them, but realized that this axe was pretty heavy, and not one that he could just swing around easily like a sword. He had to side hop out of the way the earth shadows to be sure he didn't get hit before thinking of a way to try and kill these enemies. He didn't think it was going to prove to be difficult and as such, he was already to take them on. The shadows then turned around and came at Sal ready to kill him almost instantly. To counter this, Sal brought his great axe to his side and swung it, hitting all the enemies that were in its path. That being three unfortunate earth shadows that died immediately. The other three had dodged out of the way and came at Sal from three different positions, to which Sal responded with by swinging in a spinning position, killing two, and then brought the axe back up and went down on the final shadow killing it and ending the round. Spoiler: Round 8 Man, this axe was strong...he figured. Seeing as his longsword was able to easily kill earth aura shadows as things stood, he didn't actually have anything to scale his damage off of. However, based on the weight and the force he felt that traveled with this blade, he was sure it was stronger. While thinking about how much stronger though, some new enemies came and spawned in. They were simply three earth aura beasts. Oh, now that was a good thing to test if ever there was one. The round started off with the three beasts just trying to bull charge straight at Sal, who simply hoisted his axe back onto his shoulder and waited for them to come. He was going to have to be careful about this because he needed to get a good lock on when the right time to strike was. Seeing as if these guys missed they didn't have to turn around and come back at him, it was going to be a more difficult time to go and kill them. When the beasts were finally at Sal's position, he figured it was a good time to start. They attacked as best they could and punched straight at Sal after inital charge. Still feeling the burden of the axe's weight, Sal felt it a tad on the difficult side to simply avoid the attacks. Nevertheless he managed and had continued to perservere through fighting this fight and finally found a good place to strike. He then brought his axe down on one of them and watched as it cleaved through the beast with ease. The other two then tried to kill Sal, to which he simply spun around with his axe and killed them both entirely. Spoiler: Round 9 So this was what Sal presumed to be the second to last, or penultimate, round and was wondering what kind of enemies he was going to be going up against now. Furthermore, he realized that this axe was ridiculously powerful. It just cleaved through three enemies that the long sword had trouble cutting with super ease. Guess that made up for the increase in weight. Sal then saw his new enemies for the round spawn in. They were nothing less than two shamblers with the earth aura. Oh, this was going to be fun. The round started off with Sal getting attacked in the same way as he normally would. The shamblers just started firing off their spikes at Sal and he had to, of course, dodge the attacks as he always would. The problem he was feeling, now, though, was that the weight of the axe was keeping him weighed down a bit and he was unable to actually dodge as effectively as he usually had. So, he was also feeling the increased damaged of the earth shamblers on him and he needed to think of how to get out of this situation. Sal had figured that doing his usual strategy, yolo charging, was not going to work in this situation, simply because the weight burden was too great for him to effectively yolo charge. So instead, he decided to do something he usually did not think to do. He spun around and flung the great axe straight at one of the shamblers. The spikes that were colliding with the axe were shattering in an instant and the blade eventually planted itself in one of the shamblers. Sal then had the opportunity to easily run over, grab his axe, and heave it at the other shambler, thus ending the round. Spoiler: Round 10 Well here it was, the final round that Sal had to use this great axe to fight things against with. Overall, he was pretty happy with this weapon and thought that it was a trusty power type weapon. Maybe if he actually had the earth aura on at the moment then the weight problem would be countered, but oh well. Sal was pretty sure who he was going to be fighting for this round and watched as he was proven correct. In spawned a knife type, and short sword type, a knight type, and an earth sword type. All of them, save the latter, had earth auras over them. The final round started as one would think it would. The slew of swordsmen type enemies just advancing on his position at their own relatively comfortable pace, while Sal prepped himself to bring down his axe on all of them. The knife type shot forward towards Sal, to which he responded by dodging, hitting with his pommel, and then swinging the axe around to kill it instantly. The short sword type then tried to attack Sal during the recovery, but Sal simply kicked the thing in the shin and then proceeded to bring his axe down. The knight type was the next one to try and kill Sal, but Sal met the strike of the knight type with his axe, snapping the knight's blade and cleaving through the enemy entirely. With that taken care of, there was only one enemy left, and that was nothing short of the earth sword type itself. It tried to come forward and swing the axe down on Sal, but Sal was able to easily avoid the attack altogether and do a side swing with his own axe. The great axe cleaved through the earth sword type and the monster was now dead, ending the trial altogether. Spoiler: Round 1 Sal was rather happy how that round with the earth sword had gone and was prepped and ready to take on whatever challenges he was going to have to go up against next here. While wondering what he was still doing here, his great axe did indeed sink into the water ground and leave him unarmed. Well guess it wasn't a sword round now. Sal stretched out a bit and got himself ready for whatever form of fighting he was going to be met with and saw that the opponents spawning in were simply four shamblers. Fun. The round started off with the shamblers firing there usual tendril spike thingy majigger at Sal and of course he had to go out of his way to dodge the attacks. If he didn't then ****, he'd be pretty much a Sal pin cushion. Regardless of the attack onslaught upon him, Sal was able to carefully avoid all the attacks being sent at him, sort of, and started thinking of what to do here. Really, recklessly charging sounded like the best plan of action so heck, why not? So Sal effectively went out of his way and started yolo charging at the opponents. Sure Sal was getting slightly cut up through this strategy, but between his running and dodging back and forth against attacks, Sal managed to make out pretty alright. He closed in on the first shambler and waited out its meele spikes before punching it the **** down. Sal then went and punched out the next shambler and one by one the shambler army that was firing spikes at him had all fallen down and the round had been resolved as a win for the fallen angel man. Spoiler: Round 2 With round one done the only thing to follow it was obviously round two. Sal was pretty alright with how that last round went and wasn't entirely sure how he could do it any better. Those shamblers though, always managed to cut him up a bit. He felt Zachariel's healing wash over him and was soon ready to go beat the **** out of more of...whatever the actual classification for these things are. Sal then saw that his opponents were four shamblers, again, and three beast types. Okay... So yeah, these enemy numbers seemed to be getting a tad on the larger side and Sal wasn't entirely sure how he was going to deal with this increase, but deal he was going to. Well...he was going to have to regardless and now was the time to do so. The round started off with the shamblers doing their usual tentacle spike thing and the beasts with their same ol' same ol' charging thing. Sal was obviously locked into dodging the attacks from the shamblers and was getting ready for whatever these beasts were going to throw at him. As such, when the three finally converged on his position, Sal was already ready to just avoid each and everyone of their punches. Sal then decided that the shamblers were the bigger threat and completely ignored the beasts and ran straight towards the shamblers. This was not his smartest move truthfully. He was making his way over but was slowed tremendously by the large onslaught of attacks being sent at him. As such, the beasts eventually did catch up with him, grabbed him, and pummled the **** out of him. Spoiler: Round 3 Okay, so that round went pretty shittily. Really, he got his ass handed to him quite thoroughly, and it was not a pleasant experience in the slightest. While his broken and mangled body was getting healed, Sal had to think of just what he could do to win against this large quantity of enemies. Seven did seem a bit excessive, but he assumed that Zachariel was just ramping things up. All for the best really, he did think that some of these were starting to get a tad too easy, but now things were getting a tad ridic. Oh well. After being thoroughly and completely healed from the previous ass kicking, Sal stood up and stretched out a bit, and after doing so the round started. Of course, this was in its usual way, and so Sal was able to access the situation fairly well. The shamblers were trying to skewer him as they usually would and the beasts were charging. All Sal really had to do was wait on whoever was coming over to kill him immediately, that being the beasts, and deal with them thoroughly. So, learning from his past mistakes, Sal figured that he was going to have to simply deal with the beast types first, lest he get horribly pummled again. So, Sal avoided the punches from the beast types and decided to go into his own little beat down thing. He started punching one of the beasts and dodging the other two when suddenly he felt something stab him. Well...turns out that the shamblers had managed to hit him while he was focused on the beasts. This just left him wide open to more assaults until he was finally pummled and beaten again. Spoiler: Round 4 Alright, so Sal was really sucking hard at winning these rounds. After losing twice in a row he was now determined to win, determined to beat these weird denisens of the dark down and totally ****ing destroy them with his own two hands...since he didn't have a sword to kill them with. That was a real bummer really. Regardless, Zachariel's magic healing washed over him once more and he got fired up and ready to go...after a good minute stretching his repaired body out. With that out of the way, it was time to bring the beat down down. Alrighty so this round, round four that is, started off like you'd expect any round ever to start. Simply saying, this round started with the beast types charging and the shambler types, not shambling, but firing spike after spike at him. Alrighty, so Sal had to just be sure to avoid these attacks as best he could, lest he get killed quite hard again, and was awaiting the beasts to send his new plan of action into motion. A plan so simple and so unrealistic that one could only get away with it when this had no consequence on anything. The beast types attacked at Sal and he simply dodged out of the way of the fists and then went onto his own onslaught against the enemies. He began punching at the beasts, but made sure to line himself up so that the shamblers couldn't actually attack him. So next thing he did was, pummel the **** out of them, and then yolo charged at the shamblers. He then proceeded to go and kill the **** out of all of them with his bare hands and fists of fury. Once all four shamblers were down and out, he was proclaimed the round winner. Spoiler: Round 5 Alrighty, that had been quite the decisive, albeit undetailed and ambiguous, victory for Sal. He felt good having conquered seven enemies all with the potential to kill him rather easily. Quite good indeed. Now all that was left to do was take on whatever the next sixteen rounds of this challenge had to offer him this time. Looking forward he saw that the enemies he was fighting this time was none other than...four shambler and four shadows. Oh good lord this was going to be rough. So the fight started off with the shamblers and shadows doing their own things. That'd be firing spikes and sprinting at him respectively. As such, Sal was forced to go into a dodge like mode where he would have to continue avoiding all the attacks sent at him by the shamblers. He then went into a sort of thinking mode. He knew that if he tried his yolo charge strategy, the shadows were just going to kill him, so he needed a way around that. Actually...he had already developed several ways of doing so, so what was the point of thinking up more. Turns out there was plenty of point in doing that. Sal immediately charged at the shamblers before him and tried to dodge and run as effectively as one could, when the shadows were coming upon him, he stopped and let them pass, only for him to completely punt two of them out of existence. Now came the problem that there were still two left, and they were pretty annoyed. So they attacked Sal right there, right in the front, and the shamblers proceeded to stab him quite viciously until he was no more. Spoiler: Round 6 Embarassing loss was embarassing...but it was not something that he couldn't recover from! No siree! He was going to give them a piece of his mind and beat the everlasting **** out of all the forces of darkness...okay that was probably exaggerating. Forces of his subconcious? Seriously these enemies origins and classification were extremely ambiguous. You'd think that Zachariel would give them a better hint as to what they were actually fighting. Oh right, task at hand demanded more focus! So, after Zachariel and all of her angelic healing powers later, Sal was fit as a fiddle and ready to break some ****ers heads open...if they had heads that broke open. Really they were just wisps of darkness given form so there was that. Regardless, they were coming to kill him, and kill him quickly at that. The shamblers started the round off with their usual barage of spike tentacles and the shadows began their usual charge forward as well. Only this time, something was much different. The much different thing being Sal's plan, not the enemies at all. So, the different thing was that Sal charged at the shadows instead of just waiting around and dodging. Sure this plan did end up getting him hurt from the shamblers more so than usual, but this time, he was able to intercept the shadows and kill them before there was even a bit of a threat to be faced. Sal then decided to go after the next priority, that being the shamblers, and yolo charged each and every one of the four shamblers, giving them a good punch to the face and killing them all. Spoiler: Round 7 Victory Screech! A LULULULULULULU...anyway, Sal had found that last round to be quite satisfactory. He had managed to totally shatter a usual enemy strategy and completely break it into tiny dead enemy sized pieces. So, now that that was done and over with, Sal was wondering what his next challenge was going to be like. In spawned two earth shamblers that looked ready to kill Sal as quickly as possible. Oh, Earth Shamblers were quite the nasty ones, so Sal figured he'd have to deal with them rather quickly in order to win. So, the match started out with the Earth Shamblers firing off their relentless barrage of tentacle spikes at him. Sal of course had to dodge around them as much as humanly possible and was quite sure that he was going to get ripped apart from these things. The spikes from the earth shamblers were quite difficult to deal with, simply because they were stronger variations of regular spikes. Really all this meant was that they did a hell of a lot more damage even if they made the same impact as usual. So of course Sal kept trying to dodge around these attacks but he was pretty sure that this just wasn't going to work out at all. Eventually, though, he decided to go and do his signature anti-shambler attack, the yolo charge, and run straight at the shamblers. The shamblers then proceeded to completely rip Sal to shreds. Like actually. Turns out he had spent a bit too much time just standing in one spot dodging and ended up being too injured to actually deal with the enemies, so in the end, the Earth Shamblers won. Spoiler: Round 8 And there was a loss if ever there was one. Turns out fighting earth shamblers was much harder when you weren't using an aura yourself and you didn't have some form of weaponry to back you up. Oh the struggles with bare fist fighting. Anyway, Sal needed to get going and think of a plan to stop these shambling not actually shambling freaks. As he healed up and his body got repaired, he looked forward and figured he was going to lose this round. Why? Who knows. But, he was going to lose with style. The round started off with Sal getting stabbed immediately by the earth aura shamblers and he was simply trying to dodge them as per the norm. Really this was getting a bit tedious and repetitive, but it sure was the only way for him to get much much stronger. Well, that was also relative since he had been putting in the effort in many a dream state and not making much progress, but nevertheless, he would perservere. As such, he decided not to keep dodging forever and just run straight at the shamblers. Using his tried and true method of yolo charging, Sal began to close in on the shamblers and before long he was right in front of one. It tried to shred him up with its melee spikes, to which Sal just continued dodging back and forth away from the attacks until he was finally away from the strikes. Then, with an opening presenting itself, Sal punched the shambler and turned his attention to the next one. Unfortunately, that shambler was kind of not dead and stabbed Sal in the back rather awfully...and that was the end. Spoiler: Round 9 So that last round was quite awful if Sal did say so himself. Okay, so practically speaking, it do better than the round prior to it, so that was a plus. On the down side, he still lost, and that was kind of bad. Regardless, things were going to look up in this round. Why? Because goddamnit Sal was going to make it work for him. He now knew that the shamblers had some sort of vitality or defense increase and was not going to let that stop him anymore. After getting fully healed up, Sal was ready for round nine. Okay, so the round started off slightly different than all others. Yes, the earth shamblers did indeed try and strike down Sal with extreme prejudice and tentacle spikes, and yes, Sal was dodging, however, he was running. Running right off the bat. He was not waiting for the shamblers to get some pot shots off on him and decided to just yolo charge right off the bat. As such, the attacks from the start were a bit, easier to dodge since the yolo charge was quite unexpected. As he reached the first of the shamblers he punched it extremely fast, before it could even start its melee barrage. As such, Sal quickly backed off and the shambler exploded into spikes. After avoiding it, Sal then advanced further in and punched the shambler dead. All that was left was the last earth shambler and that was going to prove to be easy. Sal rushed forward towards the shambler and quickly dodged the spikes being flung at him. He then punched it once, and decided to follow up almost immediately before the shambler could recover, thus winning the round. Spoiler: Round 10 That last round, ****ing fantastic. He was pretty psyched that he was able to easily defeat the shamblers that wore the earth aura over them. He then realized what challenge he was doing, even though he was already positive about what it was anyway. He saw that he had the healing aura start to form around him. Oh, well that was pretty nice. Granted, the healing aura wasn't one of /greatest/ of auras, but hey it was better than nothing. He then saw his enemies spawn in, those being three shamblers. So yeah, one of the big problems here, the first of the three shamblers was that one of them was earth auraed. Well that was a bit of a problem. While normally he'd just yolo charge, doing that against three seemed a bt on the suicidal at the time. So instead, he started dodging the attacks like he usually would. The usual problem here was that the shamblers would cause far too much damage for him to actually continue on with charging efficiently. That problem was now circumvented. The healing aura provided some self regenration for him so that the damage was being healed rather quickly. So, now with that problem solved, Sal started rushing forwards towards the shamblers and decided to go in and punch at the enemies. He went for the regular shamblers first as they were quite easily easier to kill. So he punched at the first shambler and killed it, moved onto the second shambler, killed that, and then went towards earth shambler and then kicked it, moved back and killed the shambler with one more punch. Sal woke up, feeling wholesomely sore after that long ass training sessions, and saw something that was rather...odd. He was sitting around minding his own business and had been simply observing for the time being. He watched as Ariel woke up and started to behave rather...oddly. He seemed to be rather friendly towards Hay Sun, so much so that the Lion seemed more like the Puppy. To be perfectly honest, it was slightly creepy to watch. Nevertheless, Sal didn't really do much, even as Hay Sun looked ready to blow Ariel's head off. Then Ariel continued to speak that only seemed to further the idea that he was an extremely creepy angel, person, fallen, whatever but just let it be until Ariel said something that proved that, if Ariel was a model to go by, angel's could be pretty unknowing about the world they live above. Not really giving Hay Sun the time to react to Ariel's statement, that seemed rather innocent to him but was probably one of the worst things he could say in this situation, Sal walked over to Ariel and pulled him away from the girl. Having some sort of personality shift that didn't make him deathly terrified of everyone, while it was a good thing, was no excuse to solicit pornography from a minor. Getting Ariel as far away from Hay Sun as possible, lest they all die, Sal decided to give Ariel a lesson of his own. "So Ariel, Leon, whichever you prefer, I feel obligated to tell you that, well that last thing you said was particularly bad. So first off, what you were just describing was a form of something called role playing. It is simply where people decide to pretend and act like they are people that they actually aren't, I don't really know why myself, but some people are just into that sort of thing. Now what you described, where both participants get naked, is not the best thing to say. You see, those sort of things usually end in some form of sexual intercourse. So, by saying that, you were implying that you want to have sex with the young Miss Hay Sun, on top of basically implying that you want to get married after this is all over. Now, whether or not you are actually stating these, I don't really care, but one tip is that you shouldn't be so direct about these sort of things. I don't know about angels, but with humans that is usually not how things work, and it can be taken as creepy. Do you understand?"

Alright, soooo, fencing season starts tomorrow and as such, I'll be getting home later on mondays, wednesdays and fridays...unless I have a meet on one of those other days, in which case I'll gone for a lot longer time. So yeah, do with that info what you will.
So, Sal and the gang had ended up getting good old Ariel the Lion saved from the forces of the dark angels and....well that was pretty much it. Sure, he found out more about his enemies, and sure he did come to the conclusion that two out of the four people he met were not people he wanted to discuss anything with, but overall aside from the main objective nothing else really...happened. Oh well, seeing as they were just expecting to get Ariel and get out, this made for a rather alright ending. The gang soon left the building, Ariel's unconscious body in tow, and then went to the plane that Jun Tae had managed to hook them up with to go to where everyone else was. He was not looking forward to another two days of flying and hoped that they would get everything they needed to get done in New Zealand so they could all meet back up in a more convenient area. With nothing left to do for the day, Sal fell asleep and waited to be whisked away on the plane.
Brandon soon learned that the girl he didn't crash into and didn't brutally road kill was named Demi. She then seemed to be curious as to who he was in a car wreck to which Brandon responded the name of his good pal, Buch. The two then continued to talk about...stuff. You know, stuff people talk about in typical one liner back and forths that need not be recorded. Eventually Brandon asked one of the hospital staff if he could have a phone to call someone with to inform them of his situation...but they just told him to tell him who to call. So Brandon ended up having to leave a message for either Wealthard, Adan, Heinry, or Eris, telling them that he and Buch were hospitalized after getting in car wreck but that the both of them were going to be a-okay. The doctor looked a bit confused at all the names that Brandon was spewing out, but he didn't press any further and just went to go relay the message. Eventually Brandon felt really tired and really sore, so he started to succumb to the blissful world of sleep. For whatever reason, Demi decided to stick around with him even as he was falling asleep and so he eventually just shifted around a bit and then passed out for the night.
It had taken quite a bit for everything to work out the way it did. Really all that had happened was that they had convinced Ariel to drop his guard down...and kind of pass out and all. But thankfully, they had managed to, through a myriad of attempts, save Ariel's life from the poisoning. Well that was quite nice and quite the happy ending to have done here. His attention was focused on the kid now, and there was some nagging feeling that could only be due to Zachariel about this kid. He felt some sort of urge to just flat out kill her, but repressed it for the time being. It was then that Doctor Grey stepped in front of her and told the gang that they should not fight against the kid, lest they basically have to deal with the both of them. While Sal was almost positive that Doctor Grey was indeed their enemy, and had no doubt that he could be a threat, he would not fight against the man. More so out of respect for the man for helping them out at the moment he wasn't going to engage him at all. The gang was about to go and skedaddle from here with their Pride Rock Cat friend, except for one little thing that happened. The small nephilim child, as it was explained to him, and Doctor Grey then started to sink into a portal back to hell probably. It was at that moment that the little Mistake Child decided to grab the leg of the Lion and pull him with her. Well then. This whole family of hell, between Temeluchus and the Mistake Child, kind of rubbing Sal the wrong way. He was becoming less fond of them every interaction...and that had only been two so far, one for each. He saw Hay Sun dive after Simba and tried to pull him up and out the portal. She seemed to be asking for help, which Sal was obviously going to provide. Switching his aura's so that now he was using the Earth Aura, the one that provided a boost in strength, he ran over and grabbed Triton's Daughter's arm and tried to hoist him out of the portal he was sinking into. After putting his back into it, Sal and Hay Sun were eventually able to yank Ariel out of the magic portal to the Brimstone Factory, and let out a sigh of relief. Jeez, that was quite the annoying thing to be doing. Sal smiled a little though, slightly only at the thought of his next encounter with the whole gang of dark angels he had just run into. And that Mistake Child as well. Walking over to pick up Doctor Grey's jacket, Sal put it on. He would be sure to have to return to its owner when next they met. Hoisting Ariel onto his shoulder Sal looked to the gang and said, "shall we be going now then?"
So as it turned out, Buch was also quite injured in the hospital with him as well. It sounded like he could make a full recovery from this accident, which was good, but he still felt pretty bad about the whole thing. He sighed a bit at hearing this and then continued to listen to what the girl had to say. Apparently she wanted to stay here with Brandon while he was in the hospital. She seemed to feel really bad about the situation that he ended up in, and wanted to be around while he regained his strength. It was nice of her really, and she seemed to be a bit wounded by him saying that she could leave, so what could this boy do other than the obvious. "Oh, well sure you can stay. I just figured you had other things to get back to. But I don't mind if you want to stick around." Brandon was rather alright with the company that this girl provided to offer him with and thought that having someone around might make things go by better. The fact of the matter was, though, that physically he felt pretty awful and didn't really know what to do to pass the time, even with someone else nearby. He then turned to her and said, "oh yeah, guess we should introduce ourselves to each other than. My name's Brandon." Formalities were not something to be simply dismissed after all.
Sal had been pleased with the fact that Doctor Grey had decided to help them out in their plight to save Ariel. The renowned doctor seemed to be quite the wild card at the moment, but he wasn't going to question it. He caught the jacket and stood up as he was ready to go in and see the patient. It was then that he saw Hay Sun burst into the room and was frantically panicking towards Doctor Grey, practically begging him to save Ariel...even though the man just gave him a jacket that potentially had the cure for whatever ailed the patient. It was then that Ariel, looking pale as Doctor Grey just did, came into the kitchen area. It was then that he went ballistic towards them, probably because of some bad past history between him and Doctor Grey, and turned his pendant into a shield. He then covered himself in a small barrier and had a small girl walk into the barrier with him. So that was their angle eh? It was clear that Ariel was walking towards death's door, and was probably tricked into thinking that that girl down there was someone actually important to him, when in actuality she was...well he had no idea what she was, but she was related to Temeluchus. Sal now realized why Doctor Grey had called him an idiot earlier and was slightly inclined to agree. Oh well, he had to review his options as to what he can do right now. Leaving was, certainly, not an option at this point. Instead he decided to say, "now now, calm down. We aren't here to harm you at all. In fact, we're here to cure you of your illness that is clearly ravaging your body." He wasn't entirely sure what else to add to that. He was not Uriel so he couldn't go for whatever emotional thing they had together and he wasn't Doctor Grey so he couldn't really...well he had no idea what Doctor Grey would do, but the two of them still had history between each other which was more than Sal could say of him.[DOUBLEPOST=1385697769][/DOUBLEPOST]Brandon was extremely happy to hear that the oddly colored hair girl was a-okay. He would've been extremely sad if he had hurt her, he didn't want to cause anyone pain...except for like...well everyone they were fighting against...and maybe a few other choice types of people, but a random passerby was not one of those types of people. After explaining what happened prior to his horrible car crash, she bent down and kissed him on the cheek. His senses then went into one of slight confusion but he was pretty sure that the feeling was nice. He shifted around a bit, though feeling slightly in pain from doing, until he felt a little more comfortable. "Well, that's good to hear. Would've been bad if I hurt you." He then started to think about Buch and the rest of the gang. Oh man, he had no idea how long he was going to be cooped up in this hospital and wasn't really looking forward to staying here at all. It made him feel kind of useless actually, and that was a fairly bad feeling to be had in the usually enthused boy. "Well, thanks for stopping by, but you don't really need to stay here if you don't want to. I don't want to have to eat up any more of your time, and I'm sorry about any trouble I caused you." He figured this girl had better things to be doing with her time then just spending them with a hospitalized person she didn't even know, so he didn't want to hold her up any longer. Though there was thing that was on his mind. "But, before you go, do you have any idea how the other guy in the car with me is doing right now?" His mood was kind of lowered even farther down than it already was. Not only was he being useless at the moment, but he had also managed to injure a friend of his in the process. This was just not a good day for Brandon.
Brandon woke up in a rather comfortable bed. However...he didn't feel very comfortable. In fact, he felt extremely sore and in pain. What happened exactly? Where was he, was probably the more important question to ask. His mind tried to process everything backward and he remembered what had happened between now and then. There was something that caused him to veer off the course of the road and ended up...flipping? Man, Brandon was not sure how that had happened. He was only conscious for a few moments afterwards so he didn't actually know what happened but he now inferred that he was in the hospital. And by extension, Buch probably was as well. Brandon slowly opened up his eyes as he looked around. Buch was no where to be found in this room. His eyes wandered around until he had found someone else sitting in the room. The girl seemed to have the oddest colors of hair, being some sort of light blue and light purple color. It was actually kind of cool looking. Her face seemed to be stricken with some sort of concern and worry and he had no idea why, but the girl seemed kind of familiar. It took a few minutes but he finally was able to piece it together and knew that this was the reason he managed to flip a car. She was the girl in the middle of the road who he had to veer away from. Man, he felt awful that he almost ran over some innocent bystander by accident. He felt obligated to see how the girl was doing and faced her while saying, "hey there. Are you alright, did I hurt you at all?" He couldn't see anything wrong with her, but it never hurt to be sure.
The entire situation seemed to go to shit rather quickly. After politely asking about the condition of their Lionhearted friend, Temeluchus seemed to be rather impatient about everything. She sent a black mist, one that could only be compared to the one that Danel had used on him prior, and sent him straight onto the wall. His position there was locked and he could only slightly chuckle at this. Sure, it was an awful situation he was bound to be in at this point in time, and sure he was figuring that violence would be the only thing to come out of this encounter, but he expected at the very least, a tad bit of talking and idle conversation before they resorted to this kind of a situation. Oh well. The fact of the matter was that the mist that she had been using had bounded them to the wall and rendered them completely immobile. That was not a good thing in the slightest. If they couldn't move at all then they were essentially powerless to stop anything that the giddy dark angel wanted to do to them. Not to mention she had muted him so not only could they not call in Hay Sun for some assistance, but this way the also couldn't even pass the time with simple talking. For someone who seemed to enjoy torturing people, she apparently didn't get off on their screams at all, which Sal found to be a bit strange. It was, after all, one of the best ways to tell if you were doing actual damage to a person. While they were silent, one other person was not. Doctor Grey was an interesting fellow indeed. Despite appearing to just have her best interests at heart, which was kind of bad thing for both Sal and Vincent, Temeluchus seemed to be rather pissy with him. She didn't want to hear anything that he was saying and basically bounded him as well in the same kind of mist. It was at that moment that a long cut appeared on Sal and he remembered that he was indeed going to die a painful and horrible death. That was kind of a problem and one that needed solving pronto. Granted, given the sheer helplessness of their situation, Sal couldn't actually think of a way out and thought, save for divine intervention, that they were going to make it out of this alive. Then a series of interesting events happened that Sal wasn't quite sure what to make of. Firstly, Doctor Grey now was legitimately antagonising Temeluchus and she was not fond of this at all, in the slightest. Instead of just using her silencing spell thing on him, like she did for the two of them, she actually did some pretty weird stuff. She yanked what appeared to be half a heart out of Doctor Grey's body and then seemed to mix it with her own. Sal kind of had no idea something like that was even possible. Within moments of his heart being ripped from his body, Doctor Grey had died. Jesus, these people had worse teamwork issues then they did. She then turned her attention to the pair bound to the wall, and decided that it was time for them to die as well. Oh, as far as deaths went Sal was pretty sure this was not near the top of his list of ways to go out. As he prepared for the worst, something stopped her. Danel had appeared out of...well nowhere, and not looking like his composed self that he was when last they met. He had stopped her from doing anything to them, and then basically dismissed her. He then gave part of his heart to Doctor Grey, thus saving him, and snapped making all the mist on them dissipate. Well that was awfully nice of him. After Danel had done his work, Vincent and Sal were free to do...well whatever they wanted at this point. The mission that they had still stood though, and they still needed to save Ariel. As such, Vincent decided to go on ahead and check out how the Little Lion of Atlantica was doing leaving Sal with the now recovering angel of death. Figuring that he wasn't going have to do any fighting at the moment, Sal started using his healing aura, giving off a faint light green glow, to mend up his body so that it wouldn't be impaired at all. Walking over to the body of Doctor he helped him into a chair and then Sal found one for himself. "Now now, Doctor Grey, death does not look like a good color on you." Sal then had his thoughts wander back to what they were here and after Doctor Grey had regained his composure and said, "now then, would you have any idea as to what to do about Ariel's dying?"
Brandon woke up raring and ready to go. It was a feeling he had boiling up inside of him that was not going to die down at all. He felt the lightning bursting off of him as he woke up energetically and was ready to go on some super special awesome high speed action adventure sware of debauchery! Debauchery! That of course being to go out of their way and recruit Ariel onto their side. Sure they had failed...like two times already. And sure, the French Woman that was Regina was pretty dead set on not joining the group. And sure, the party had split up to go do multi-tasking recruiting, but hey what was life without a little challenges here and there. Brandon was getting up and ready to rally the troops to go and go on their next recruitment assignment....unfortunately everyone but Buch and Wealthard were already gone...weird. He wondered where they had all gone to, but decided that he may as well see if the other two wanted to come along with him. In the end Wealthard opted out and....fell asleep again. Buch on the other hand looked excited to come along with him! That is, if excited meant extremely nervous and reluctant looking than he was bounding with fucking energy. As Brandon made his way over to the car that he had totally hijacked, he used his good old ability to start cars via lighting powers and with Buch riding shotgun, the two drove off to where Regina was. Whilst driving, Brandon decided to have some idle chat with the man. "So, how's life been treating you?" Brandon's question was genuine and then he remembered something stupidly obvious. Hit the car with his fist, he sent a jolt of electricity through it that just disengaged the lock on the glove box. Within the glove box was nothing more than napkins, a pen, and a notepad. "There ya go." Brandon knew that Buch just ate breakfast and could probably use the napkins to freshen up after all.
Ah this trip to France was quite lovely. If only they were here on better terms, how he would have loved to explore it once more. But sadly, now was not that sort of time. No time for sightseeing or any sort of enjoyment. No. They were on a mission; he, Hay Sun and Vincent to be more specific. A mission that required them to move to travel all the way from New Zealand to France in a forty-hour span that wasn't the most enjoyable or comfortable of plane rides. Of course, given the crew, the rides were nothing short of awkward silence that wasn't easily fillable, but oh well, Sal was a part of this mission that he only pseudo voluntarily doing and he was going to have to see it through to the end. And what was this mission? Why it was to find Ariel again. Hay Sun had a sort of sense for finding out where this Lion of God of was, and so they had to just blindly follow that instinct of hers. Man, despite being french she did not give up on this thing. After spending the night at Hay Sun's place, whose father didn't seem to be the most thrilled about letting them stay, they all went on a mermaid hunt again. After wandering around town for a while, there was finally a definitive answer to where exactly Ariel was. After following her instincts they ended up in a rundown apartment and opened the door up to reveal two people who he wasn't entirely sure of what to make of them. "Temeluchus, Chief angel of Torment is the female appearing one. The one with the with red hair is named Azrael, Angel of Death." Well, this certainly complicated matters. He was sure that it was no coincidence that other angels were here alongside Ariel, and that they were more likely to be foe rather than friend. Furthermore there was something weird about Azrael. Sure the red hair seemed kind of unique, but there was something about his face that seemed eerily familiar. Thinking back to all different types of news stories he had read, he finally managed to make a connection. Oh, well that was certainly ironic. "Hello there Ms. Temeluchus, and hello there as well Doctor Grey. While I do appreciate us not having to have to resort to violence right off the bat, I would prefer more so to keep our little Lion alive as well. Though if you could tell me how he's dying that'd be nice to hear." Sal wasn't entirely sure what either of these angel's angles were here, but making discussion was just a nice way to ease into the topics.
Sal woke up that morning feeling nice a refreshed. There was no dream world fighting and no getting the shit kicked out of him by weird creatures made of writhing darkness. He didn't even have to do any real world fighting with Brandon yesterday. He just got into bed and slept the night and day away. And it was quite the nice sleep. Pulling himself out of bed, he started to walk downstairs and get ready for the day's challenges. Some good old fashion angel hunting would be done. Ah the good old days. It's not like he might be pulled off to go on some random detour to go save some dying sick man. Nope. Just good old fashion angel hunting. He went to go eat some good old fashion breakfast and got back into the lobby after devouring a good portion of his meal. He then saw that Richard was suddenly in the seat in the lobby...sleeping. He was positive the man went to a room...and was sure that he wasn't in the other room eating breakfast...this guy was fast. It was then that Brandon came through the hotel doors with a skip in his step. The boy seemed awfully happy about something. On closer inspection, it looked like the young boy had gone perusing around town and found a sports store. He was now toting around a tennis racket and tennis ball and was just bouncing it around gleefully now. With nothing much left to do, the trio just stood in the lobby waiting.
"Right then. I'm sure we can take your pet Ocelot alongside with us on our journey. Granted you'll probably have to keep closer watch, but I don't see any problem with it." He couldn't exactly think of a reason why she couldn't bring her pet. After all, Henrik had Iris so this should be no different. Sal was quite content with how everything had gone down. Well, sort of. It was a shame that Alice had been taken by the earthquake and may or may not be dead if Iris was an example to go by at all, once again, but nevertheless she was taken from this poor girl, angel or not. Despite Lauren's extreme rage and/or depression, she was still joining and at the end of the day that was most of what mattered. With that out of the way, the gang decided it was time to get going and leave the city. Though they weren't entirely sure of what to do next, so instead of driving fruitlessly around Australia for a long ass time, an idea was thought of. Jun Tae in all of his infinite mystery had access to basically any means of transportation they could ever want. So they got a plane and went to the nearest airport. Deciding that there may not be anymore angels in Australia, they decided to go fly to the easternmost country in Oceania. That being New Zealand. If there was another angel eastward it would be there, and if there was an angel somewhere in Australia, they'd know because mid-flight the compass would recalibrate itself. So the gang hopped in a plane and off they flew to New Zealand. The flight was not long...not really at all. It was only a few hours and after coming to the airport in Westport they decided to turn it in for the night. Finding a hotel and using magic means to gain access to it, the gang all piled into their own respective rooms and went to sleep there for the night. Brandon decided to give his body some rest from super hardcore over the top training sessions so he went to bed and Richard was just Richard so he doesn't really need a reason to sleep...but he did end in the hotel room and fell asleep there.
Sal and the others had successfully gotten out of the hotel and escaped what might've appeared to be quite a deadly thing to happen. However, in the end, turns out no one was actually in any form of danger whatsoever. As the gang was standing around suddenly Kai just freaked out a bit. Dumah, Kai's angel, started just speaking out of nowhere and told the blonde haired girl before them that she was a fallen, Andela of the Dawn specifically. Well that seemed to come out of nowhere. Who would've guessed, two angels within close proximity of each other, what were the chances of that happening? Apparently Dumah had this sense of urgency in him that wanted the others to start to get a move on, and really he couldn't blame him. Usually the place they stayed at just got flat out leveled, but in this case it seemed like more of a warning than anything else. Oh well. Sal figured he'd go introduce himself to their new team member when he realized something. Dumah knew that the blonde girl was Andela. Not only did he know, he openly stated it out right. Which meant, that all of the angels knew who the other angels were...or at least could tell by looking at them quite like Jun Tae did for Lauren. Which lead him to the sole conclusion...that there should technically not be anything keeping everyone else's angels from actually being able to do this...oh well. Sal walked over to where the new girl, Elsie, was. "Hello there, we'd be happy to have you join our band of fallen angels." He outstretched his hand to the clearly not happy go lucky gang, save Brandon, and gave a bit of a chuckle. He then turned back to her and said, "my name's Salvatore, though most people call me Sal and my angel is Zachariel. Now then, usually we go and follow a sort of magic compass to find the other fallen, and just follow whenever the needle points really. However, before we go, there is another person, someone like us, who I want to go visit first before leaving the country." He shot a glance to Jun Tae, being the only one who actually knew who he was talking about, and the gang all piled into their cars and went over to Mrs. Lauren Walker's house.
4(3? and 2?)Sal was standing there and saw that Adam had come down from his room. Apparently he had been asleep all day yesterday, and it was also his birthday. Oh, well that was neet. Sal was wondering what to do about that sort of a thing, and tried to think back to when his own birthday. Truthfully, he had no idea when it was. Probably because someone who's typing these posts were a tad on the lazy side and didn't feel like giving him one. Oh well, it wasn't exactly important anyway. Adam then asked if he had missed anything important yesterday. Sal stood there for a second looking at Adam, who clearly wasn't alright. He then realized that Sal had come back into existence of this group and was wondering about that. Before Sal could answer that question, some random blonde haired girl jumped in and said happy belated birthday. Well that was nice of her to do. The Kai came downstairs, and seemed to be startled by something. What exactly? Well the floor rumbling of course. And probably the crack in the ground...That wasn't exactly normal was it...Sal then saw the blonde haired girl and Logan (who came out of ****ing nowhere) run straight for the exit. Sal decided to follow close behind, with Brandon and Richard following him.
