Agreed. Need to keep that guy for as long as possible.
I figure it's best to go with the man to start off the suspicions. Plus I do so like the attention. Being your 5% choice makes me feel so honored. (Hugs) (Hail Hydra)
Second!
I'd use crash, smash or crunch.
Didn't even know about this until I got to work and opened up a newspaper. And there on the front page, it was. I just blurted out "Robin Williams is dead?!" because you know... can't internally except that. Robin Williams was one of the first actors I knew of. He was in a lot of movies I watched growing up and I just hate to see him pass away like this. He brought joy to a lot of people and was a good comedic and dramatic actor.
Same way Dwayne Johnson's a chef. because you can smell what he's cooking
Hikaru walked alongside Louie as they made their way to the Library. He walked at a somehwat slow place just reflecting on everything that's happened. Since the order were now back in charge, what was he to do now? Aux, Nequa, and Vanitas were definitely strong, but the order was comprised of seven powerful wielders. Well, six now that Mizu was captured... And he was still unsure of Kaida's ability, what with not being a master still. The biggest Enigma to him right now was No Heart. Talked about, he was always curious as to what the master would do if he or she obtained Kingdom Hearts. "Had a fun time talking to your friends?" "Hmm?" suddenly snapping back from his sidetracked thinking, he looked down at Louie as they walked. "Oh, I'm not sure we'd be called friends but they're really strong warriors." "Well why not?" "Umm... I think it's because we met in a chaotic plan to thwart a powerful threat?" he said jokingly. "More like allies I'd say." "Well, did you have fun talking to your allies?" He thought about it for a moment. "Yeah, I guess it was nice talking to-" "Heartless!" "Hey, I know I said they weren't my friends, but you don't have to call me-" "Not you! Them!" Hikaru followed the duck's finger beyond the horizon where a swarm of heartless were making their way to the library. Behemoths, armored knights, wyverns and more were marching towards the hall of records. "How is that possible?" Hikaru whispered. "There's never been heartless here! That's why it's a haven!" he panicked. "I have to make sure Kaida's-" As he turned to retrieve his friend, a large behemoth stomped on the ground, preventing him from passing. He stepped back a few feet and saw he was not alone. Dark portals were opening up everywhere, causing more heartless to spawn. The sudden appearance of the lot cause Louie to jump and pull at Hikaru's arm. "We gotta go warn everyone!" Hikaru didn't move. "I'm not leaving without her! I'm not leaving her behind again! Just let me glide to her quickly." Surveillance bots and Wyverns made their way across the skies, as if purposely blocking him off. "We're not leaving!" he yelled, trying to pull the boy twice his size. "We just can't get her right now." Looking at the large heartless, he knew the duck was right. As sad as he'd like to admit. "Come on!" he yelled once more. Hikaru grinded his teeth before picking Louie up and bolting to the library doors. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Inside the Library "The lady in purple armor took off her helmet- and, and it was Rin!" He tried breathing deeply to make sure his quacking voice was at least somewhat understandable. "And she got Lea and Yue to follow her! What are we gonna do!!!" Merlin and Seiza stood back in shock. "By my own beard, I don't believe it! Dewey my lad, it must have been some one else. That woman attacked Mizu and abducted the poor thing. Why would her own sister commit such an act?" "I don't know! but there's an even bigger problem!" Dewey rested his back against the door to try and make sure nothing else got in. "When I looked outside... From everywhere... They're coming!" "What's coming?" Merlin asked, his attention now devoted. "It's- WAAHHHHH!" Dewey fell over as Hikaru and Louie charged into the room. "Heartless!" He yelled out. "Oops... sorry Huey!" "Hey, I'm Dewey!" "I'm Huey!" The one in red corrected. Hikaru looked at him and scratched the back of his head. "S-sorry." After apologizing, he looked around the room to find everyone else was already there. That saved him a lot of time, but he didn't know why they all gathered into a confined area. "W-what is everyone else doing here though? We have to get everyone out of here, there are way too many heartless out there!" "Already working on it my boy! Kross here has found one of Yen Sid's old reflective portals." "Portals?" Hikaru asked. "Indeed. Yen Sid was never much of a glider; frankly I don't think he ever tried. But he did leave secret gateways into every world that connected to his tower. Soon as Seiza and I get it up and running we should be able to get you all out of here." "Can't we just glide out of here? And I need to get Kaida first." "No dice on the leaving bit. Some one took the pages on how to initiate lockdown on all the worlds. No gliding outta here without a vessel, or alternate means of transport. So unless you use dark corridors or have a gummi ship somewhere, we're stuck here." Seiza explained. "Oh! Now I get it!" Huey shouted, inspecting the messages left on his comm device. He walked over to Hikaru and handed him the small pad. He looked at it and read it out loud. "I have the Gamma belt. Went with Kaida to get help. Will explain later. ,DJ." "DJ sent this to me an hour ago! I didn't get it 'till just now!" Huey explained. "He musta gone back to before the lockdown and went to get help." Hikaru left out a sigh of relief that Kaida would be okay, but that still left their current predicament. "So when will the mirror be ready." "Hard to say kid... But between Merlin's magic, and my lore knowledge, I'd say anywhere around... oh... twenty minutes?" "But the heartless are less than a minute away! And they're coming from everywhere!" Louie shouted.
Kaida has won June! Who will win July I wonder?
The Training Grounds Aux watched as the amateur wielders drew their straws to take the mark of mastery. He stared intently through his iron mask, staning atop a long hill placed inside the training arena. Recalling that his own ambition was once that small; to become a master and travel the worlds, searching for where he came from. But he knew that darkness was his only calling now. Working for No Heart gave him far more resources, technology and power than the order at Central Haven could ever offer him. A pretentious group of light protectors would only have denied him such gifts. And now he was in a close enough range to wipe them all out in one blow. Master No Heart had ordered for them to isolate any non-cooperative threats, but eliminating them was plenty isolating. "Must be hard," Krowley spoke from behind him. "Turning your back on a life you once lived." "I have no regrets." "Not even one?" he asked. "Not even two?" Aux paused for a moment as he knew the master was directly referencing Hikaru and Kaida; the two hardest things he chose to leave behind. "None," he lied. Krowley shook his head at the response. "Friends aren't weakness Aux. And abandoning will only weaken your heart." He attempted to reach forward and comfort him by placing a supportive hand on his shoulder, but was stopped as he spun around. "What would you know?" he responded, holding one hand up in case defense was needed. "You sit atop a group of empowered people who know exactly who they are. They've never known the feeling of being lost. And every time I see you, I just know in my gut there was something you knew about me but never told. Every single time my eyes met against yours, all I saw were secrets. Cowardice and lies." He summoned his keyblade and pointed it towards his former master. "There will be no room for liars in the new order- RAH!" Aux's arms clenched together, as Kuma bear hugged him from behind to subdue and contain his efforts. He had noticed the man's entry but only now acted as it was not only a threat to the students, but his noble leader. "I'M SORRY YOUNG MAN, BUT IF YOU WISH TO TAKE PART IN THIS ACADEMY, YOU MUST FIRST AWAIT ACCEPTANCE." He turned his head to Krowley as he kept a tight grip. "ARE YOU ALRIGHT MASTER KROWLEY?" he asked. "Fine as always Shiro," he commented. Aux kept his arms tight, but didn't show too many signs of struggle. "You understand you cannot save them or yourselves from this takeover." "Perhaps. But I can definitely by them some time." He raised both arms and cast a magical veil to prevent the students from interfering. "Shiro, please lead them back to the hall of-" "APOLOGIES SIR, BUT I WILL HAVE TO DENY THAT ORDER!" "Shiro?" "I WILL NOT ABANDON MY COMRADE ON THE FIELD OF BATTLE. IF YOU FIGHT, I FIGHT ALONGSIDE YOU TO THE END, SIR." Krowley smiled and nodded. "Novice wielders! Make your way to the Library and defend yourselves there. We are in a state of emergency!" Aux chuckled. "They aren't really good at listening." He managed to wriggle his arm enough to get feeling in his fingers. "Let me help herd them along." A quick snap of his fingers summoned a horde of Behemoth heartless to be summoned from the ground up. "Fight or not, they'll be forced to retreat so we can have our chat." Kuma tightened his grip on Aux. "I COULDN'T AGREE MORE! LET'S START WITH WHERE YOUR MASTER HIDES." Aux cringed as he could feel the prevention of blood flow around his body. "Always closer than you think..." (OOC - Head to the library!)
Spoiler I found my Muse
I saw the thread title and got excited until that last word...
Digimon Adventure PSP is a great turn based one. It sadly wasn't localized since it released near USA's end of the PSP's run, but mostly translated as it follows Season 1's cast through the TV series. Dungeon's can be a bit repetitive sometimes, but just the joy of seeing them all go to Megas. The trailer itself is great in that we get returning characters from 01 and most likely 02.

One of my favorite things about the browser game are just the heartless designs.
Really hoping to catch it this weekend. It's a nice change of pace from all the other Marvel films that take place on Earth. (Primarily New York) I know there are going to be plenty of things I will take time adjusting too, but I'm an avid comic and film fan, so I'll just try to find the best since they've combined both mediums.
Would anyone be interested in that? I'm currently just doing anniversary event quests, but I thought it might be fun to show people the gist of everything for those who don't play.
Is it because of my cheeks, how I always talk ****, or is it the fact that I just won't quit.
Kuzmenko took the robotic components in his hand and shifted his appendages in a solid clamp. The discord among the students was far too obnoxious for him to deal with and the fact they wanted to switch into groups they liked better felt like mockery. He turned in response to Samuel's question and clamped his hand inches away from his nose to snap at his insubordination. Once he had the boy's attention, he quickly pulled it away replying "Groups are final." He turned his back and once again began to walk off, while still instructing them. "Finish the assignment. That is your one instruction. Follow or not, they are your grades. But they are not grades. They are your future- YOU are the future..." He looked back one last time before leaving them to their work. "Do not squander your gifts." Lex took a moment to let that settle as many of the teachers had been spewing out motivational or encouraging statements to prepare them for their exams. He knew they were just words, but he liked to reflect on them in his head. If they were truly a part of the future, why did it seem like such a mystery to them still. You'd think being a part of something gave you the right to at least be knowledgeable on the subject. Then again, He was never really used to being a part of something. Just an individual bracket that was not a necessity to the equation. He looked at the group table names with the list of books they were assigned to get. the library had a number system where people could locate books based on their first digit, followed by a decimal point, followed by a larger number. One being English, two being science, and so on and so forth. The list had four books with these ID numbers; 2.19742 2.24054 5.08765 7.13 He squinted at that last number which had only two digits after the decimal point. He had been in the library enough times to know that no number ever went below 4 digits. At least not to his knowledge. The number seven meant it was in the History section, but he recalled the first book in the series to be "7.0001" "Uhh, Anyone wanna look into that last book?" he calmly spoke, pointing to the last number.
MAIN HALL "You too," Hikaru replied. "As much as I regret leaving you behind, I knew you would find some way to force you're way onto the scene. You always do." after a short chuckle, he shook his head before getting too sentimental about the whole situation. After all they still had to get some work done "I should, uhh... probably go check on the others at the library... I've got some catching up to do with a lot of people." He nudged at Louie to signal that they were leaving now. Louie nodded in reply and began to waddle off. Hikaru took a few steps to follow before turning around one more time. " They aren't a bad group of people... a bit odd in their own ways, but they've been a big help. You'd like them." With another quick smile, he turned and jogged off to catch up with the green clothed duck, leaving Kaida to think and reflect to herself. Unknown to her, however, Vanitas stood perched at the top of the staircase with his keyblade pointed out to Kaida. The masked boy kept his aim, with one leg leaning against the railing. "Congratulations blondie... you just became the next member to be taken out." He gripped his void gear and turned his chin up as he proudly looked down to the unsuspecting girl ."Time's up." All ready and prepared to cast a dark spell, he found himself paralyzed and unable to move. A small ping was heard before he could blink, and put him into the state of frozen consciousness. What? he thought to himself, unable to speak. He would try to budge but nothing would work. As a coup d'etat, DJ was standing behind him with his keyblade pointed at the masked assailant. "If you ask me, I think a 'Time Out' is more in order..." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Outside the Hall of Records Yue and Lea walked in tandem to the Hall of Records, where Krowley asked them to warn the novice wielders to be on their highest guard. "We shouldn't be out here babysitting," she insisted. "I should be going into the realm of darkness and looking for Mizu." "Mizu's fine. If they wanted to axe us all off, they would have done so. According to your testimonial back there, they've gotten some really nice upgrades. Reminds me a lot of the Titan project we abandoned." "Why was it abandoned anyways?" "Because test subjects were shown to be easily corrupted by darkness." Nequa stated, waving from behind them. The two spun around to notice she had just been casually following them this entire time. "Oh! I guess this is our first meeting. I'm-" "Rin..." Yue blurted out. She gave a quick sniff of the air and gritted her teeth. "You have her scent..." "Hmm? What makes you say that?" she giggled, summoning her keyblade just in case. "But... why would... why would you work with them?!" She was still trying to fathom how her best friend was working for them. "Tsk tsk, never was a good listener, so I'll ask again. Why do you think I was a member to begin with?" "It begins to make more sense," Lea observed. "All our knowledge of technology, the worlds and princesses had to be stolen from our archives. Archives that only a member of the order-" "STOP IT!" Yue shouted. "I don't care if she has the same voice and skill set, that's not Rin!" Nequa tilted her head and lowered her keyblade. "You really believe that don't you?" Yue took a few calm breaths before answering fearlessly. "I know Rin, and you're not her." "I see," she responded with equal neutrality. Dispersing her blade, she took both gloved hands and put them on both sides of her glowing purple helmet. "Just how sure are you?..." Both arms pushed the helmet ever so slightly until a small burst of pressure was heard escaping from under the mask. Lifting the helmet slowly over her head, allowing a cascade of flowing cyan colored hair to empty out, revealing her true face. Yue was at a loss for words as she lifted a side of the blindfold to see with her own eye at the truth she did not wish to conceive. "No..." A young woman of Yue's age, smiled back in the most haunting manner as she grinned from ear to ear joyfully, showing no remorse disdain. The woman standing before them was Rin. "Aww, Don't look so shocked sweetie. The other boy thought Aux would never betray him either. But the worlds are full of traitors. I was just yours." Her smile turned into a wicked grin as her orange-yellow eyes pierced through her friend's heart. Yue dropped her blindfold and clenched her teeth. Lea could see the rage she was building and tried to prevent it. Years in the Order as well as past experiences taught him a thing or two about emotional manipulation. If this really was Rin, she knew just what buttons to push. "This is what she wants. Whatever you do, don't-" "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!" Yue charge with speed against her traitor friend, to which she only replied with the same smile. "Never could keep your temper either." She opened a dark corridor and baited Yue to follow her through it with a flick of her wrist. Nequa passed through followed by Yue, leaving Lea to try and follow. Sadly the portal closed behind them before he could fully go through. "Man... always with the icky jobs," he told himself, trying to think of what to do next. All he had was the Gamma belt, which turned back the universal clock. Seeing as how the worlds were locked down, that would do him any good. His only other option was to use darkness. Something he hadn't used since his younger adult years. "Well when you can't do anything smart." He lifted a hand outward to summon a small dark portal. "Do something reckless." He put on his mask and walked into the portal, having it close behind him A top the Library steps, Dewey had witnessed it all as he was cleaning the Hall's outer rim. "Oh no!" he yelled before covering his mouth. He was still unsure if one of the bad guys were still around so he quickly rushed inside locking the door behind him in a flurried panic. "SEIZA! MERLIN! ANYBODY! WE'VE GOT A PROBLEM!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
