~Undisclosed Location~ "What do you mean it's not on this planet!?" Sasuke and Kazuya had been sent by their leader to retrieve an all-powerful relic known as Pandora's Box, which according to Kazuya, was somewhere on Disgaea. Kazuya, however, had just revealed to Sasuke that he lied in order to get what he wanted out of Pain: The Rinnegan. "But don't you see!? With Pain under my control, I can have him do whatever I want him to do! Whatever YOU want him to do!" "Is that so, Kazuya?" The voice that Kazuya heard brought chills down his spine. "N-No...Not you!" Spoiler Pain had appeared behind Kazuya, his usual blank stare in his eyes. "I am very disappointed in you, Kazuya Mishima. You lead us to believe that Pandora's Box was on this new planet. I hope you understand the punishment for such treason." A spiked metal rod emerged from Pain's left sleeve, which he grabbed. Before Kazuya could attempt to run away, Pain grabbed him by the throat. "Your demonic form won't save you now, fool." Pain then impaled Kazuya in the gut with the rod, sending it straight through and out his back. The rod still in him, Pain dropped Kazuya, who immediately doubled over in pain. "Sasuke. Finish him." "With pleasure." After performing some hand signs, lightning, or what seemed to be lightning, began to form around Sasuke's right hand. Kazuya could only look up at what would be his inevitable demise. He was in too much pain to more, or to speak. "Chidori!" Sasuke slammed the lightning down into Kazuya's head, causing the ground around him to crumble in lower. Blood splattered up from the hit. Sasuke's expression remained empty and emotionless. When Sasuke removed his hand, it was apparent that Kazuya was finished. Pain began to walk away, his back to Sasuke. "Good work, Sasuke. Now come with me. We have work to do." "No." Pain turned around. "What is the meaning of this, Sasuke?" Pain asked, a calm tone still in his voice. "The only reason I've been working alongside you is because I thought I would get the power I needed to exact revenge upon my brother. But now that I know that it's impossible, I have no further reason to work alongside you, or the rest of the Akatsuki." Pain sighed. "I'm disappointed to hear that, Sasuke. But not as disappointed as I was with that failure Kazuya. Just know that by leaving us, you have made several mortal-And immortal- enemies." "I don't care. Come after me and I'll cut each and every one of you down." With that, Sasuke disappeared in a puff of smoke. Pain did the same after a few moments, going back to his base of operations. OOC: This post doesn't really affect anyone but me, so...Yeah.

On the topic of the AMV collab, I'll certainly be participating, but I do agree with the others in that it should be multi-song. Everyone has different tastes in music, and their portions of the AMV would probably have different styles of characters. Like Aerith's, for example, (Which was really good by the way) seems like a lighter-toned song, while mine would be heavier, as that's the kind of moozik I like. But I don't think every portion should use the full song. That'd make the AMV too long, in my opinion. Though that's usually a requirement of AMV collabs anyway. Also, Congrats on making Cove Staff, Levi! Our plans are slowly reaching completion!

OOC: Making one more post today, again as just one character. ~Underground; Deadpool vs Anderson~ "Alright, scotty-boy, we've been sittin' here doin' nothin' for almost 5 friggin' pages now! LET'S END THIS THANG!!!" Deadpool put his guns away and clapped his hands together and closed his eyes. "Allow me to show you one of the internet's most well known attacks!" Deadpool separated his hands and held them outward. "ZA WARUDO!!!" ...Nothing happened. "Uhh...Was that supposed to do something?" "...Well, crap. I was sure it'd work this time..." "This time? You mean you've tried this before?" "...Yeah. Don't judge me." Deadpool stopped standing like an idiot and drew his swords. "Well, obviously there will be no Za Warudo-ing of any kind. Let's just wrap up the fight, shall we?" Deadpool ran towards Anderson before leaping into the air and charging toward him, swinging his blade as he did so. "WRYYYYYYYYY!"

~Sky Sanctuary; Master Emerald Shrine~ Xemnas turned to the dark witch, having expected her to notice his presence sooner or later. "We we under the same impression for you, that is until you and your large assistant invaded our castle alongside the 'spiky one'." Just behind Xemnas was the Master Emerald, floating in it's shrine and keeping the entire sanctuary (Which could be compared to the entirety of Hollow Bastion in size) afloat. "Our goal of finally taking Kingdom Hearts still stands, Maleficent, and now we have the power source we need to take it." Xemnas said, motioning toward the Master Emerald behind him. "If you want to avoid a hopeless battle, then evacuate your castle and give Kingdom Hearts to the organization. In return, I will give you this sanctuary." Xemnas patiently awaited Maleficent's answer. OOC: For now I'm only gonna post as one, maybe two characters a post. Still waiting on Post Templates and such.
I guess we have opposite tastes in terms of video games. I for one prefer gameplay over all else. Everything else is just added flare that makes the game better. I do understand that story and setting is a much higher priority in video games than it was 15-20 years ago, but for me, gameplay is what makes the game. Yeah, they're still brothers. EDIT: Ninja'd.
Okay, so I was incorrect on that point. My bad. But I still think DmC could turn out to be good if people would just quit complaining about the new characters or whatever and actually give the game a chance for what it is: A game. I, for one, can easily get over the fact that Dante is now a street punk who drops F-Bombs at every chance he gets. It's gameplay that matters most in a video game.
See, I wish more people would look at it this way. Yes, most people want a sequel to DMC4, which could still very well happen, but instead they're getting a completely different Devil May Cry experience. I wish people would at least give the game a chance before marking it as the worst thing to happen since *insert horrible thing here*.
At first I didn't like it. But after seeing how the game has progressed gameplay wise, I'm starting to like what I'm seeing. It's a different spin on the DMC style with different characters (Though they share the same name) and a different setting. I think the reason a lot of people don't like it is because they don't like change.

An AMV collab might not be a bad idea...I'm not sure how much of us in the Cove make AMVs, but if there's enough I'm sure it'd be a pretty cool project. But for a general collab, you'll want to take it up with the Staff, like Aerith said.
