After being told by Cinque that she did not want to go with them, Jail's newest creation, alongside Nove, made their way to the teleporter that would take them to the battleground after informing Jail of their readiness. The two stepped into the teleporter, and were instantaneously taken from the Saint's Cradle to just outside the battleground, where they couldn't be seen.​

"Okay, looks like they've already taken out a good chunk of the Gunmen down there...I'm gonna charge straight in. I can easily dodge their shots. I suggest you try and flank 'em from behind. It's up to you though."​

With that, the experiment gave Nove a friendly pat on the shoulder before moving out and running toward the fighters.​

His speed was incredible for one who looked human. Granted, he was much more than a human. As his opposition came into view, he leaped into the air before divekicking down right in front of them, kicking up ludicrous amounts of snow and Gunman scraps as he landed.​

"So, you guys think it's funny to kill off the Spiral King's army, eh? Well how 'bout I show you how funny I think it is when I bash your damn skulls in!"​

Just then, everyone began firing at him. The blonde haired experiment just smiled cockily before dodging each and every shot like it was nothing.​

Marcus was taken back by this. He had never seen something so fast!​

"Just who the hell is this guy!?"​

"Who am I? WHO AM I!? I'll tell ya who I am!"​

Just then, he picked up a downed Gunman and held it high.​

"The name's Kittan!"​

He then threw the Gunman at them with little effort, breaking apart their cover and leaving them vulnerable.​

"C'mon! Gimme all ya got, you bastards!"​

Yugi, Yusei and Duke had met up with Akiza and her new comrade, Latias, a long while back. They were currently attempting to dodge laser fire from the invading Reapers. In order to separate themselves and lower the risk of getting hit, each duelist was each riding their own individual dragon, with the exception of Duke, who was with Yugi.​

Yugi (who had currently switched into his taller, more handsome form) was leading the group with Duke, riding on the back of the "Curse of Dragon" monster.​

"What the bloody hell are these things! And why do they keep shooting at us!"​

"Duke doesn't know, man! But whatever they are, they are SO not invited to my next birthday party!"​

There was silence for a moment.​

Yugi sighed.​

"Duke...Just shut your mouth for a while. Can you do that? Please?"​

Meanwhile, Yusei was flying alongside Akiza and Latias. He was riding on the back of his Stardust Dragon.​

"It's obvious that those things in the sky aren't friendly. I've noticed a lot of other people on the ground trying to go underground. What do you think, Akiza? Should we head underground?"​

Oddly enough, this was one of the moments where Yusei didn't feel absolutely disgusted around Akiza. Probably had something to do with the army of flying metal death above them.​

~Underground; Ninjas, Street Fighters and Robots vs. Armored Armadillo~​

The fighting against the Armored Armadillo continued on. This Maverick was obviously more skilled in battle than his assigned partner, who had been taken out a while ago.
After having successfully blocked yet another attack from the heroes, the Armored Armadillo was growing bored.
"Is this really all you have? Pathetic. Commander Sigma was right; Humans have no place in any world."
Zero's mechanical eyes widened at the sound of that name.
"Sigma!? He's here!?"
AA smiled cockily.
"Why yes, he is. Unfortunately, you won't be meeting him in your lifetime-"
Just then, something hit the Armored Armadillo straight in the face.
"Dynamic Interruption!"
Lee had caught the Maverick off guard while he spoke, knocking him on his back.
Before the Armadillo could roll himself up into a ball, Lee held him open with his legs.
"Some assistance...Please..." Lee asked, obviously struggling.
Naruto ran over and helped hold him open.
"Get your filthy hands off of me, Humans! Do you have any idea who I am!?"
"Yeah, an annoying metal animal. Now tell Zero what he wants to know."
Zero stepped over, Z-Saber in hand.
"Where is Sigma."
"I will tell you nothing!"
Zero kicked him across the face.
"Tell me. Now!"
"Tch...He has a base set up somewhere underground...That's all I can tell you."
"That's all I need to know."
Zero then took his Z-Saber and impaled the Armored Armadillo in his incredibly vulnerable abdomen.
Within seconds, the Maverick disappeared with a distinct sound.
X was sort of surprised at Zero's brutality. That wasn't like Zero.
"Before we search any further, let's get some rest. My data banks say that humans need to undergo a function called 'sleep' during the night hours. According to my internal clock, it is night time. We will stay here until morning, then we will search for Sigma's base of operations."
After a few moments, everyone had gotten as comfortable as they could on the rocky underground surface and fell into sleep. Even X and Zero, who rarely ever entered sleep mode.

OOC: As Zero said, yes, it is nighttime. Most people should find somewhere safe to sleep.
