Hmm...A toughie indeed...Maybe, is there a way you could make his mech into a transformer-type deal, and his entire mech transforms around him into the different variations? Or would that be too radical of a change to his mech?

However, due to special enhancements, Kittan's speed and strength are at super-human levels, allowing him to lift a medium-size Gunman with little effort. Username: HeartlessOfLight Character of Choice: Rossiu Adai Picture(optional): Spoiler Game/Anime/Etc. the Character is from: Gurren Lagann Additional Info: Rossiu is originally from Adai village. Before meeting the members of Team Dai-Gurren, he practiced a religion that saw Gunmen as Gods. After being convinced that the validity of that religion was zero, he decided to join Team Gurren. To honor his memory, he seeks to become the best VA (Variant Armor, used for robot combat) pilot alive and wants to prove his worth through the VA battle circuit. He begins to question his father's death after meeting SHADE for the first time. Jin's mood goes from calm to rage within seconds, but he remains a good guy. His mech, the BX-02 Blodia, has the unique ability to operate without a pilot, allowing Jin to fight on the ground while giving Blodia commands.
~Savannah~ The sky was dark, only being lit from time to time by the firing of Reaper laser fire. On the ground, a young boy was running for his life, unsure of where his comrades were, trying to find a safe place to hide."Kamina...Simon...Yoko...Where are you!?" Spoiler: ENTER He continued to run, his energy dwindling away as he did so.Suddenly, the Rossiu was stopped by a Gunman, obviously one belonging to the Spiral King's army. "No...Not now!" "Time to die, little human!" Said a voice echoing from inside. The Gunman aimed it's weapon at Rossiu, it's weapon being a minigun, and began to rev up the gun. "Got any last words, you little puke?" "Not today, he doesn't!" Almost instantly, a giant fist flew past Rossiu and slammed right into the Gunman's face, knocking it over, before coming back to it's source. "Kid! Get back!" "O-Okay!" Rossiu did as he was told and ran back to the source of the voice, which was a man dressed in all white clothing. Behind him was a large mech about 2 or 3 meters smaller than Gurren. "I'm not done yet! Take this!" The man snapped his fingers, and his mech's "hands" turned into large miniguns. At the same time, the mech's cockpit (which was located on the head) opened, allowing the man to get inside, which he did. "Blodia Vulcan!" He opened fire on the Gunman as it tried to escape. Unfortunately for the Beastman inside, it couldn't get away fast enough and was pounded full of lead before exploding. The mecha's hands returned to their normal form before picking Rossiu up, opening the cockpit again, and throwing him inside. Rossiu stood up behind the pilot's chair. "Thank you, sir. I would have been killed if it wasn't for you!" "No need to thank me, kid. I'm just doing my job. Name's Jin, by the way. Jin Saotome." Spoiler: ENTER "What's your name, kid? If we're gonna be partners, I gotta know who I'm workin' with.""Partners!? I don't even know how to pilot a mech!""Pfft, Blodia here's a piece o' cake to pilot. Hell, I can pilot it without even being inside of it!"Jin sat there for a moment, proud, before re-asking his question."Now are you gonna tell me your name?""Oh, right. It's Rossiu. Rossiu Adai.""Nice to meet you, Rossiu. Now let's get outta here!"Blodia's right arm bent back."Blodia Punch!"Blodia slammed it's fist into the ground, creating a large enough hole for Blodia to get inside.Once underground, Blodia immediately moved away from the hole, as not to be seen by the Reapers (though with all the noise he made against the Gunman, they probably already did. "What do we do now, Jin?" "Not sure...Blodia's GPS system tells me that there's a huge network of tunnels under here...One of them is actually being made as we speak." "Being made? What does that mean?" "It means that someone is drilling a tunnel in the ground right now. They're pretty close by, too." "Should we go after them?" "No. Not yet anyway. I've got no idea who or what is creating the new tunnel. For now it'd be best if we just hole up here for the night. It's getting late. We need some sleep." "I guess you're right." "You can sleep here." Jin bent his seat back all the way, making it completely flat. "But where will you sleep?" "I'll sleep out there. It's how I usually do it, anyway. G'night, Rossiu." Jin then hopped out of Blodia and closed the cockpit. Rossiu then laid down on the bed-seat and attempted to sleep. It was hard, as all he could think about was where Kamina, Simon, and the others were.
