The Barn door opened to reveal that inside the barn, was dusty old slide projector, that had since been forgotten for some time now. Mickey, excited and jumping, rushed over to the machine to examine it's condition. He spun around the film reel to try and get it started, but the projector had no film in it, and therefore, wouldn't open another film window. "Why isn't it working?" Hikaru wondered aloud. "This is why," a voice spoke. From behind them, a man in a clearly visible white coat appeared. He spoke softly and held up a film reel. "We try hard to hold onto memories that others have forgotten, but we at times need help in the matter. Just as the phantom blot claimed... We all need a legacy of sorts." Hikaru's eyes twinged at the sight of this stranger. Masked and hooded characters always aroused suspicion, and while he himself had done so in the past, there was something about this hooded character that made him feel especially uncomfortable. Like he had a lot of knowledge he would only pass down in riddles. Nevertheless, he remained vigilant and barked at the stranger. "If that's not your's, give it back to Mickey. Now!" The stranger's head tilted. "Why? What does he need from it?" he asked nonchalantly. He was about to ask the mouse before realizing he still never spoke to them. "That... Might be hard to get out of him." The hooded man chuckled. "Not to worry. That changes over time..." "Huh?" "So I guess the task will lie with his keepers. Why do you want it so badly? After all, it's just a memory." He looked onto Hikaru's eyes. "I can see aren't very co-operative. Do I frighten you?" "Guess again! I just don't like making bargains with faceless people." "Heh, the irony..." The masked man held the reel with both hands and held it against his lap. "So what are you afraid of then?" "I don't have to-" "It's a simple question child. All of you, in fact. Answer and the reel is yours. What do you fear?" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~MISSION COMPLETE~ Upon rescuing Mickey, Goofy shook his little mouse friend into waking up. "Mick! Mick ol' buddy wake up!" He slapped him rapidly across the face a few times and got a successful response. Mickey blinked his eyes and jolted. "W-w-who? Wh-What now? What happened?! Where's the princess!" Goofy scratched his head. "Well gee Mick. We was kinda hopin' you'd tell US." Regaining full consciousness, Mickey patted Pluto's head as the faithful dog returned his hat to him. "Well, I heard a Minnie cry out, and so I went to her royal chamber. I found Pete and those bad guys that drove us off the road! After I attempted to arrest Captain Pete, he knocked me out, and well... everything goes black from there. "Bad I'm really glad you're okay Goofy!" "Shucks. I ain't going nowhere without you, Mick." "I'll be honest. I really thought that no one would come for me." "We wouldn't let you down, Mick. We're your friends!" "Mickey smiled. "Thank you... All of you..." His smile quickly faded as he looked around the room. "But... where's Donald?" Pluto frowned. "Donald up and-" "Worry not, Donald is safe and sound." A voice spoke out from a man in a white robe, who had been watching them since their departure. "Well... you give him back right now, Mister!" Mickey ordered. "As a royal Musketeer, I-" "But you aren't. Sure you were dubbed protectors of royalty, but if done by a corrupt man, it becomes seemingly belittled, doesn't it?" "Oh," Mickey sighed. "Never thought about it like that. "Is that it then? Nothing more you wanted in life aside from living the way of the musketeer?" Mickey took a moment of pause. "For the longest time that's what I- What WE all wanted. But now I just want to stand by my friends. Protecting not only the princess, but everyone important to me!" "And that goes double for me sir!" Goofy agreed. Pluto barked in acknowledgement also. "And what of your key wielding friends? What do they want from their lives?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Back at Disneytown, Goofy was wandering about in his clanking metal armor, using his hand to try and scope out the neighborhood in search of something. He stopped as his hand came onto a familiar face. "Well how about that?! It's my good buddy Stratos! Beuce! How have you been, buds?" He preceded to shake their hands in the most animated fashion. "Gawrsh, it seems like only yesterday since you and yer pals helped Wart out in Camelot." Letting go of his hand he scanned around for signs of anyone he recalled from the events of that world. "But uh... Where are Kel and Ananter?" He looked down in alarm also at Beuce's arm. "Well that wasn't there before... some kinder armor or somethin'?"
Just pictured Jaden doing a film promoted cover of the show's 3rd opening;
It's true that most of the on screen parents are from Disney, but most RPGs kind of has a habit of moving past the familial happenings for the sake of adventure. Other parents I thought of; Mrs. Potts (Beast's castle) Kerchak and Kala (Deep Jungle) Kanga (100 Acre Wood) Lady Tremaine (Still a mom despite being evil) Kevin Flynn (The Grid) Goofy (Whether or not he's shown, Goof had a son)
If you want to learn more about the lore of the Kingdom Hearts universe, it's at the very best a nice little time waster. At least it's not Vcast.
Yes, yes, the picture is nice. Very good melding process. :) 11/10 - IGN
Anyway to merge the two?
I'm sorry D: You can delete mine if you wish instead. Yours looks so much nicer :o
View attachment 42033 Leaked from an upcoming issue of Famitsu is the Kingdom Hearts series' first journey onto smartphones, Kingdom Hearts Unchained Key, a port of the previously browser-exclusive Kingdom Hearts X[chi]. This announcement arrives amidst hints from Tetsuya Nomura that a smartphone title was in the works. Kingdom Hearts Unchained Key is slated for a 2015 release in Japan, and will be free-to-play with micro-transactions and an updated gameplay system to suit the mobile way of gaming. It will also feature new plot elements for the iOS and Android versions. The following was translated by Goldpanner following a tweet on the confirmed product. We'll no doubt have more information when the full Famitsu article is released and translated, and when Square-Enix properly reveals the title. The game may only be confirmed for Japan at the moment, but given the teaser from Square-Enix Germany's Facebook page and Kingdom Hearts X[chi]'s relevance to the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3, Unchained Keys will likely make its way to the palms of worldwide audiences.
New trailer that shows at least a bit of new footage. Taking off from last season, looks like Boo and pennsatucky have a little moment.
The image itself is from the game's card reward system. Exchanging moogle cards for ones you ca use in your deck. I mostly end up skipping the little animation. Hopefully it's a nice little tease that an overseas port is on the way. While it is just a social media game, I'm for anything that increases the community appeal.
~MISSION COMPLETE~ D'daear leveled up! (23) Hikaru leveled up! (27) Rain leveled up! (22) CAILYN MISSION FAILED With Rain's ice magic, the Phantom Blot was knocked back onto his rear, dropping the orb. The encased globe of colorful wonder rolled away until it made it's way under Mickey's large shoe. The mouse looked up with a mischievous grin at the phantom and lifted his higher above the orb. "No, don't!" he cried. Ignoring his plea, Mickey stomped onto the Orb, which blasted the color out of the orb. Small sprinkles of wonder washed itself around the group, showing hints of warm and cold colors before making it's way back to the window titled "Mickey's Rival." It was once again lit like a Christmas tree and all was as it should be. "You fool! You've doomed us all into a life of the soon-to-be forgotten. I was going to build a legacy... A legacy of keeping this world from the corruption of the future, and allowing people to live in the glory of the past." The Blot urged. "That's not true." Hikaru spoke out. "So long as they remain in your heart, people can never be forgotten... Sure we may not always remember them right away, but it's not what they gave us that keeps them in our hearts. It's what they do. And if you did that to these people, they would only remember you in infamy." "Your approval was unrequested boy. Mickey and a few other may survive the looming changes, but the rest of us will not be so lucky. So I warn you here and now... That I will return. I will not be flea, but instead be placed into a life of shadows, where I can continue to plan my legacy. This world will forget me... But my return is something that no one will ever. Forget..." The blot vanished a puff of smoke, leaving behind echoes of his laughter. "Muuuhuuhuuuhahahahahaha!!!!" Mickey held his large white gloves to his ears, and flopped them back and forth as he stuck out his tongue to mock the villain. "Don't see why you're poking fun. You still owe us an explanation." Mickeys ears lit up before pointing to Rain. "You were looking for her?" Hikaru asked. The mouse shook his head and ran up towards Rain, pointing at her weapon. "Oh, the key... Why were you looking for a keyblade?" He again pointed further way this time at a locked barnyard door on the edge of the hill. "You want to unlock it? Why, what's in there?" Mickey only jumped and urged them to follow. "So... who wants to open it?" Hikaru asked. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ~MISSION COMPLETE!~ Ananta leveled up! (25) Kel leveled up! (26) Kross leveled up! (23) Raisor leveled up! (23) Steel leveled up! (25) Goofy and Pluto has managed to regroup and make their way back to the party. "Hey fellers, sorry, I couldn't find the guy I saw before.. but I found Pluto! He seemed to be upset about something... Wanted to bring him back here before I elaborated on the sichiation though." He put both hand on his knees and stared intently at the dog. Pluto gave a weary expression and seemed very anxious about something. Earlier, he left Ananta in pursuit of a scream from princess Minnie. "Come on Pluto! Whadya got boy?!" "BARK BARK!" "What! Princess Minnie's been kidnapped?!" "BARK BARK!" "By The Beagle Boys?!" "BARK BARK!" "Who were working for Pete all along?!" "BARK BARK BARK!" "And now he's gonna hold Minnie hostage while he takes the crown at the opera tonight?!" Pluto nodded after the quick cutaway and continued on. "Oh no boy! We gotta get the other muskee-teers back together 'fore it's too late!" "BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK!" "And now Donald's try'na leave town?! Well we gotta get him back before anything else goes wrong!" "BARK BARK!" "TIMMY'S TRAPPED IN A DUNGEON????!!!!" Pluto facepawed his face and repeat. "BARK BARK BARK" "OOOhh, Ahyuck! Mickey's the one trapped in the dungeon...." Goofy relaxed for a few seconds "MICKEY'S TRAPPED IN THE DUNGEON!" [/color] ~MISSION START!~
What's a Krowley?
First Cast shot of the whole team together via Ayer's twitter.
"What the heck...are you!?" Hikaru swerved passed the puddles of bubbling ink and made his way to the discarded Luna. She looked to be in great pain and in desperate need of a quick heal. Ending her suffering, he held his keyblade above her head to unleash a cure spell that caused magical leaves to flash quickly over her head. He then proceeded to dragged his blade along the monochrome grass and swung it overhead in what was meant to be a head on strike. As the blade swung however, the blot laughed as a puff of grey smoke replaced where he once was. The Blot emerged a few steps away with his color infused orb and villainous arched eyes. "Whatever he is... he's not an easy target." He pointed his keyblade towards Luna and lit up an Aero spell, surrounding his ally in a sphere of cutting wind for some much needed defense. "So I think it's only fair we up the difficulty for him," Hikaru added. Readying himself. BP: 114/300 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- "The exit is the same way you came at the basement of my tower." Yen Sid paused and continued to explain a property of using the portal ink. "The infused material you used to enter is known as Portal Ink.' A machination of my own design. A universal gateway into the hearts of worlds and those that reside as it's denizens. Hoewever, there is also another form in which it can be used..." He looked towards the drawer where he kept away the book. "If used correctly, the user of the ink can transcribe the memories of worlds and people into inkling based copies. Similar to that of data transference. But this method has an unfortunate side effect... When left at the exposure, a portal created from the ink will result in a temporary plain of existence. To surmise, Whatever you have done here will be of little to no memory for that of myself or my apprentice... You see, when this ink is used as a gate, the world on the opposing side is left to interpretation. This world's timeline is left at a tangent and will return to it's original storyline once you've all leapt back through. Since you originated on the other side, your memories will be left unaltered, but the experiences you've shared with Mickey will be but a forgotten memory to him." "Perhaps that is for the best." Yen Sid replied. "Though I can't very well let you leave without some sort of compensation..." ALL PLAYERS RECEIVED THE "APPRENTICE SASH" ACCESSORY! ALL PLAYERS RECEIVED THE "SYMPHONIA" LIMIT! "Your travel have led you into very dangerous circumstances." He took note of Beuce's replaced arm as well as the group's inner turmoils from examination. As doubtful as I am for the film itself, I'm really hoping he pulls through with the performance. A lot of names have shown up that turned some heads, but I feel there may be some key moments where the cast do their characters justice. This goes back to what I mentioned with the portrayal aspect. The overanimated design and primal look were different to say the least, but I think Richardson did a pretty good job given how beastly they made the incarnation look. They actually had a lot of good voice talent for that series. Didn't even notice that till just now... The way he's presented here kind of makes him seem like a groupie to me. Like a... Joker-Mite or Joker Jr. or something. Some one Joker would manipulate due to his admiration of the clown.
D'daear and Rain's example showed that physical attacks had little to no use on this particular enemy and whether he was some one they knew or not was an entirely different story. Many had appeared to them in masks or cloaks, but this Phantom was some one he hadn't seen or heard of before. If he was in such an early rendition of disneytown, then perhaps he had faded or left before they saw him in the future version of the world. "Freeze!" Hikaru blasted a blizzara spell at the blot which did a noticeable amount of damage, as the masked phantom stepped back, writhing in pain. BP: 209/300 ----------- From Karina's take on the subject, Yen sid's eyes peered in question. Why they would want to know such a thing intrigued his wizarding mind, but as always, he remained vigilant in his role as a retired master and played along to their affairs. "An endgame my dear, is something that can not easily be accomplished. The task would require a great amount of effort and could only be accomplished by those whom the caster trusts." He looked to his lightly dusted desk and reached to one of the drawers. It was magically sealed so that no ordinary key could open it. With a wave of his hand the veil faded and he opened the small drawer to pull out a thick, black book. It looked hefty, as Yen Sid used both hands to lift it and presented it to the wielders. "This is my greatest regret," he began. "An endgame is the result of an incomplete task that the user in question has had yet to fulfill." He looked onto the binding with sorrow. "Like a ghost with unfinished business, the caster cannot pass from it's state until the endgame is completed. My endgame at this time and age would be the protection of this book, for in it lies a world of forgotten things that cannot return. He quickly put the book back into it's safely designated spot as it was beginning to bring up horrid memories of his failure. "If that is all I can help you with, then I can assume you can exit the same way you entered... My apprentice has learned much from you, but your belong in your own worlds with your own tasks to complete.
I love that BB8 isn't CGI. While there are plenty of special effects, I'm glad they're trying to keep certain things authentic.
