What Cyanide said is essentially true, if you are looking for a relationship. Confidence is generally considered an attractive quality. That's more of a shallow attraction though. Not that the relationship will be shallow, but I like to think of confidence almost as a physical attribute, and so the person being attracted might not be particularly mature. Being nice is perfectly fine, you just don't want to be a "nice machine", whose sole purpose in life is being nice to people. You don't have to worry about changing your personality so you are not as nice, just don't be so nice that you aren't acting like yourself. It makes you look one-dimensional, and maybe even fake. The best relationships, where there is true love (so to speak), do not require any pretending, or changing your personality. Just make sure the other person notices you, and knows you as a person. In other words, you still need a little confidence, but for the sake of staying close to the person, not for attracting them with confidence itself. I know I say all this like I have a lot of experience, but I don't have much. Most of what I said are my opinions, observations, and assumptions about human nature. What I can tell you from experience though is that staying in contact is very important to most women, and so you are lucky to have that same desire. I'd estimate that 2-3 times per week is pretty healthy, but go with your intuition, because everyone is different.
Figure I'll post this for those who haven't checked. The first episode is now available for streaming on adultswim.com, and I assume the second episode will be up later today. Any thoughts on the first episode? I didn't particularly like Isaac's voice; he laughed pretty well, but I felt like he mumbled/tripped up on some of his lines. It's alright though, I'm pretty sure he's not an important character. I also don't like how they couldn't get Gracia and Elicia's original voice actors back, but that's not a big problem either. I liked Maxey Whitehead as Al; I got used to her pretty quickly, and at some points she sounded a lot like Aaron Dismuke. Even though I enjoyed this episode, I don't think it was a very good FIRST episode. Too many characters were introduced too quickly, and so if I didn't know the series before watching, I think I'd be kind of lost. There was no explanation of what Alchemy is either.
lol no, not torrents, Tourette's. Tourette's Syndrome is a neurological disorder. But this isn't the place to talk about this. And yes, I am a Coder, though I don't know that much about hacking XD It's a long story how I became a Coder, but this isn't the place for that either. crzy4anime, if you need help with something or just want to talk, you can PM me, okay?
Wow, it's interesting that you should say that, because I also have Tourette's and OCD. If you are ever struggling with it, you should ask for support in the "Help with Life" section, though hopefully your parents or someone close to you can help as well. In any case, you might be having trouble with this simply because it isn't your strong suit. People are naturally better at different things, but that doesn't mean you can't improve.
No problem :P I felt like sharing so people would know, because it almost slipped by me too. Yeah, it's probably around there, since the manga is considerably longer than the original anime. Thanks! It's good to hear that a dedicated FMA fan really likes it, though I probably won't quite be convinced until I see it. The thing that I liked most about the first series was it's emotional impact, it's slow-moving yet well-paced timeline, and the philosophical questions it raises. I know I only saw the first episode (and the first anime took about 13 episodes to really get amazing, in my opinion), but I'm still a little worried that it won't be as good.
Nice work Evil! :D Do you know if Sora vs. Zexion is possible, or does it freeze because of Sora's cards?
Um, haven't we always said that you can do this, as long as you don't post links? Or are you talking about something else? I'd still keep it limited to absolutely NO links to illegal content though, not even for GBA. No asking for links either.
You can watch new episodes of this series every week at 12:00 AM (Eastern Standard Time) on Adult Swim's Saturday night line-up. Feel free to discuss the english dub, and the story in general. However, please refrain from talking about anything that has not yet appeared in the english dubbed version of the anime. Here's the promo and DVD trailers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOVpIZBXdV8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8TvsnfZZ-c You can now legally watch the first two episodes of Brotherhood on Youtube. Hopefully, more will follow: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8mMmZ_Zaqo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wilZ-mLVt4M I'm very surprised, and even more ecstatic about it. I've seen the first episode with subtitles, and though it was epic, it seemed sort of haphazard; with too much happening in too short of a time span. Still, I have hope that it will get better. The original series is my favorite anime of all time, and so even if this new one is not quite as good (though naturally I hope that it is), I'm happy to see more of this show. Plus I hear that it follows the manga, so that should be pretty awesome (I've only read the first ten or so volumes, but it looked like it was going in an interesting direction). If that estimation is true, I'd be thoroughly pissed off if they didn't change the lip movements to fit the english version. They didn't do that for Re:CoM or Days, and they had a pretty long time to do that. That said, I would have preferred that they delayed the release of those games, if that meant that they would re-do the lip movements, because quite honestly, it's very distracting when they don't sync the lips, and the quality of voice acting suffers somewhat. In any case, thanks for the information, Mike. It's nice to see a light at the end of the tunnel, however far away it may be.
I'll give it one more try XD When you start up the emulator, does it first run through the normal PS2 startup (the primarily black screen with those colorful squares/rectangles, then the camera zooms in on it, followed by the words "PlayStation 2" appearing), or does the game start right up? I found that the graphics settings where it plays through the whole PS2 startup runs considerably slower than when it goes straight to the game. I believe that certain graphics settings works much better for certain graphics cards. I suggest that you read through this guide, if you haven't already (especially the graphics plugin section): http://forums.pcsx2.net/thread-2298.html Also, what speed does it normally run at? Just out of curiosity.
Wow, you've got some really good computer specs XD I think your problem is that you are using the actual disk. I've done this, and it runs considerably slower when running the hard disk, as opposed to an ISO. I suggest you rip it yourself if you know how, or download one. I encourage you to only download games that you've bought, but...you know, I can't stop you XD When configuring the graphics, there's an advanced option that says something like "No log Z". I highly recommend checking this option, because it repairs a lot of graphical glitches in KH2. Without it, you probably wouldn't be able to see your own health bar. Then when you're done, go to the "Config" menu, select "speed hacks" and select the ones that make sense for you. Though to be honest, with a processor above 3 GHz, you shouldn't have a problem with speed. Since you would be running from an ISO, you might need to change another setting in order for the game to start up. Play with the "cdvdrom" options in the "Configuration" menu until you get the best results. If I remember correctly, you still go to "File" -> "Run CD/DVD" when using an ISO; you just have to select the ISO (wherever it may be on your computer) when the window opens up.
That so? Have you been tinkering with effect mods? :P
Arf ???
Not a problem, thank you :D One of us would have found it on our own pretty soon, but we certainly encourage you guys helping us spot these things.
It's good to have you here; you do some great work. Congratulations on passing the one-year mark :)
Sorry, I can't help you; I don't have the code.
I think it would be better to just have Play as Dual Wielding Roxas (Boss) code, rather than something more complex and specific as that. Do you...
Done. Added near the bottom of the post. Once you've got the final version, I guess I'll put it in the "Playable Characters" section. Nice work! ^^
Sorry, I can't seem to find those. I don't think a skateboard color mod has ever been made.
At some points, it was pretty frustrating, I believe it was the worst on Destiny Islands. That was annoying while fighting normal Heartless, but I think it added a good amount of difficulty to the boss fights, especially Zexion. In Halloween Town though, it was definitely the most powerful, maybe even too powerful. There were seriously at least five 9 cards in his deck. I wish that there was more customization in Reverse/Rebirth, but I don't really have a right to complain, since it was a HUGE bonus storyline that they didn't need to add, but they did anyway. Plus there is a decent amount of unique qualities about Riku's fighting style to keep the gameplay pretty interesting.
