Happy birthday!
My favorite was Crystal. I loooved it! The gameplay and the Bug Catching contests, and how you could go to both regions was awesome!
*rolls eyes* Of course he didn't die! Did you even read my reasoning? I said someone you've never seen before. Scotty is definately a series regular.
Anybody with even a passing interest in Star Trek should know this one rule: Never, ever, ever wear a red shirt- not under any circumstance. Don't do it. Pick any episode. Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, a series regular like Uhura and some guy you've never seen before are standing on the transporter pad. If the guy is wearing a red shirt, he will not live past the first commercial. Somewhere on the planet below certain death awaits. I've watched these guys be shot, be blown up, be disintigrated, have all their blood drained, have every cell in their body explode and otherwise the most painful and horible deaths imaginable. The endings aren't even especially heroic. First a guy beams down, then he's dead. At least it's usually quick. Nine times out of ten, the poor fellow doesn't have a clue what hit him. Within seconds, Bones examines the fallen crewman with a tricorder, turns to the captain and says, "He's dead, Jim." By the next scene it's as if the guy never existed. There's no wake, no funeral, and most of the time his name is never spoken again. I wasn't thinking one day, and I bought a red bathing suit, and I went diving somewhere in the Cayman islands, and my regulator(For non-divers, that's the thing you breath with) broke apart ninety-five feet underwater. I managed my way back up to the surface, then I went back to my hotel room, and threw it away.. Another time, I was taking a driving test, and I wore a red shirt. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY a drunk driver slammed into the side of the car I was driving, and put me in the hospital for two days. This most recent time, I wore a red shirt to school, and someone riding a bicycle(badly), ran into me with it, and I fell straight into a puddle, first thing in the morning before school. My ride already left. Wear red if you want to, but I won't. Thoughts? Please don't tell me I'm crazy, I already know that.
This is such a good story. I can't wait to read the sequel. This is one of the best stories I've read in awhile.
... We don't spend enough money on the space program. Spending money on the space program is better than wasting money on saving our planet! And what you said contradicts yourself. Spending millions on trying to land on Mars IS expensive, and it would also be a part of the space race, because Russia and Italy have been trying to find a way to land on another planet as well. The space program wouldn't be a waste of money if we stopped spending it to goof off on the moon. Landing on it in the Apollo 11 mission was fine, but I don't see the point of the others, and I doubt landing on Mars would be any different. We need to crack down hard on the program, and put our money into cosmologic research, and aerodynamics, that way, we could try to find something that's actually useful, such as life on another planet probably not in our galaxy, instead of trying to land on Mars.
That would be highly unlikely, as the asteroid is more likely to go past the earth than actually hit it.
The funny thing is, I've always thought trying to save the planet that we're on was a waste of money. I'm betting this is going to be another space race between Russia and America. Maybe we'll put some money into actually saving mankind instead of just the planet. And of course we know Russia and America will be fighting over this, we'll never learn to get along unless something drastic happens. Without the 'space race,' America wouldn't have been the first in space, and Russia would get the credit for that, and I doubt we'd have discovered anything new by working together. By fighting, we worked harder, thus forcing ourselves to learn as much as we could. We all pretty much know the same about space. I don't understand the point of trying to be on Mars. We can't survive on Mars, so what's the point of walking on it? If anything, I think that's a waste of money. We could be spending our time doing something useful, like trying to colonize another planet that will actually support life. Whether it's plants, animals, bugs, or humans that it supports, it would be a magnificent finding. Anyways, back to my main point; The space race was important, and I think Mars is a waste of time.
Happy burfday!!!
I'm glad we're now spending money on something that's worth the money spent, even if we never use it.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/eu_russia_asteroid_encounter You have no idea how long I've been waiting for/predicting this would happen.
This is actually a bit creepy... I think it's creepy enough just to hear people say a character is hot, but marrying one because of a few good qualities of it's 'personality'? He needs to go out and find a real woman to love. And the fact that he says he knows it's physically and legally impossible still doesn't justify it.
Nevermind. New favorite chapter. That was so sad! I LOVED it.
Liked this most recent chapter. It was one of my favorites. Stop it with the cliffhangers! ; ; I must know what happens.
You play really well 8D
True :\ I have had 3 of my MLIA stories published before :] The one on the 1st page is the most recent published one.
It's not as LAME as this...
Wow... Have you guys EVER been on My Life is Average?
Today I built a robot and it didn't turn into a car. MLIA
