Reposting this. Want to pick up a new series but aren't sure what's good? Then post here, both to recommend a series and ask for recommendations. Please put some thought into your posts, if you're asking for recommendations then mention what kind of things you like to see in a series or what your favorite genre is. If you're recommending, don't just list titles. Give legitimate reasons why you're recommending it, either to another member or just why it should be read in general. Any threads asking for recommendations after this will be merged to this thread.
We're considering that, but RvR's away right now and IIRC he's the one that spdude gave the ability to access upgrades to. So that will likely happen, just not within the next few days.

Avatars aren't really the same as signatures though. Though IIRC we were considering an Avatar of the Week thing a while ago, so it there's enough interest in that we might be able to set that up as a side thing in the future. Not sure if it's on there, but what about a one-stock week? Though it may stretch over the course of two weeks (one week for submitting and voting on a stock, second week to actually make the tag). And I'm re-suggesting decade themed weeks, like 70s, 80s, 90s, etc. where the stock used must be relevant to or came from the specific decade. Also could do game themes, like Nintendo only, Sega only, etc.
