I imagine most people would not anticipate being nominated for worst member. Not only that but, again speaking from experience, not many people would do it before the polls go up.
Speaking from experience, a lot of people have been hurt by being nominated or voted for. Yes they can ask to be removed, but the damage is already done -- they know they've been nominated. The user awards are meant to be fun, some of the awards do pick a bit at people but they're meant to be lighthearted. These categories IMO cross that line. I don't really see why someone would want to spread that kind of negativity anyway, whether by nominating or voting, and i don't feel the awards should promote it.

It's a problem with vB as well -- for a board the size of ours, it does not make sense to expend system resources to display a member list that is largely filled with inactive accounts. A full member search may be added in the future (there's an add-on that I was interested in for different reasons), but we'll be keeping notable members.

I remember having an invitation or two when I first got an account, but I joined up very shortly after they opened their doors so invites were in high demand. Right now you can request them and they deliver them pretty quickly.
To update: there are some problems with the implementation of this -- going to be looking around at solutions for a while but this will be on hold while I do. Hopefully won't take too long but that's what's going on. I'm going to lock this for now, though, as no further discussion is really needed here.

That's a pretty real possibility, especially because the first game got a lot of flack for its lack of NPCs ( and FFXII was just so huge that I can't imagine they voiced many of the NPCs, could be remembering wrong though ). I did buy LR so I will have to see for myself. :)

VERY EXCITED I mean I'm still quite curious as to what roles these female characters will be playing, so I don't want to rejoice just yet because they could very well be insignificant -- but a big name like Lupita must get a big role, I'd think.
Platinuming 1.5 takes something like 3 runs, it's redonk... I really do need to do an easy mode speed run w/o changing equipment.
