TDK trilogy are like the only superhero movies I like because Christopher Nolan is a great director but I really don't think any of the Marvel movies have come close to the quality of those movies. They're talking about them because how blatantly bad they were which is not the point I'm trying to make with the movies I mentioned. The movies I listed will be talked about for good reasons. The Marvel movies of today are pretty mediocre and I really don't think anyone will be talking about them because they're just whatever.

Jube is GOAT
Yeah but that has nothing to do with the movie itself. I'm not trying to say that for a movie to be good it has to be controversial, deep, thought provoking, etc. I'm saying it bugs me when people run around touting movies like Amazing Spiderman and Avengers AS those things. I just don't understand how someone could think they are. I don't think in 20 or 30 years anyone will still be talking about the Marvel movies going around right now like people still talk about Fight Club, Memento, The Shining, or even Inception for a recent example.
there's nothing surprising or challenging in a superhero movie for me. if you like them then whatever, you keep enjoying them. everyone has an interest and you should like what you like. i'm a big ****** who likes anime so what do i know? all superhero movies feel the same to me so i inherently find them boring and i will continue to insult them until they go away.
you can definitely analyze why you enjoy something. go ahead. but i'm just saying, nothing in a superhero movie has ever left an impact on me. there's nothing from The Avengers that's still nagging at my brain. nothing to dissect. there's nothing controversial to discuss.it's not Looper, The Master, or Prometheus. they're movies with bombastic action scenes, special effects, and men wearing tights.
no superhero movie has offered anything that's blown my mind in the storytelling area.
i would read it :v but i just see superhero movies as the pop music of film. there's nothing wrong them. they're just fun. i don't find anything profound when i watch Captain America or Amazing Spiderman.
nate confirmed homophobic SJWs where you at
i think a lot of people overestimate how much other people care about their dick/vagina situation
Duke Nukem doesn't take itself seriously though
when people try analyzing blockbuster action or superhero films to make them seem like they're more than just mindless summer movie time wasters
