Okay guys, due to an unexpected glitch in plans, HeartlessOfLight's next post, as well as mine, will take place slightly before the explosion. Just a pre-warning so nobody gets confused.
I had filled in a character sheet that I was happy with, as Bushy will confirm, but then my browser closed on me without warning and I lost it all. Still sort of mourning it. Feel free to start whenever, I'll see about sorting a redone sheet in the next couple of days.
~~Reaper Excavation Site~~ As soon as Renton had finished, a new Reaper horn sounded from above them, as a Reaper Destroyer landed very close by, having come from above to avoid detection. The ground shook as it landed, but everyone seemed unharmed. That was, until the metal creature leaned forwards and opened its frontal section to charge its laser shot, whereupon it became apparent that they were all actually, to use the technical term, fuckered. As suddenly as the Reaper had appeared, a giant battleship charged in, its arms swinging wildly, as it hopped slightly, slamming one foot into the metaphorical dick of the Reaper, staggering it long enough for the entire battleship to swing around and repeat the action, only far worse, with the second foot, knocking the Destroyer on it's face where one could swear it muttered "ow" as it struck the ground. Equally suddenly, the great arms of the battleship swung around, scooping up the mechas and pilots like raisins, and dumping them onto its giant metal swordcock unceremoniously and hoofing it in the opposite direct to the Reapers like a fat kid who just dropped a Malteaser down a hill. In mere moments, the entire situation had changed, and pretty much nobody had any clue what was going on. Except Dayakka, who had, in a drunken stupor, decided it was his turn to drive the Dai-Gurren, which basically explained fucking everything.
