As the Dai-Gurren continued pegging itself away from the Reaper Light District (it's like the red-light district, but with death instead of sex) it came upon a large problem. That problem being a rock. Which it promptly struck with its foot entirely by accident.
Onlookers and passengers alike then had the spectacular chance to, for the first time, witness a battleship trip over. Unfortunately for the passengers, they were passengers on the battleship that was tripping over, which obviously comes with its own problems.
A loud announcement of "SHIIIIIIIIIT" gave everyone a general idea of what to prepare for, as the Dai-Gurren toppled over and got its bladewang lodged into the ground in front of it, the entire battleship now pointing up to the sky with its ass in a position that only a pink-haired man named Bertram could possibly appreciate.
This also had the side effect of catapulting everyone on board forwards, launching them towards the area directly ahead of the ship which, by complete coincidence (maybe) was a large man-made hot spring facility large enough to accomodate everyone who was a part of Dai-Gurren's crew.

As the dust settled, it was quickly obvious that Kamina had managed to find his head rammed into one of the rock walls, though he was apparently unharmed, but stuck.
"Simon." he said, loudly, but surprisingly calmly for a man with his head crammed inside a rock. "I found a hole myself this time."
With his palm striking his face, Simon, who was, like everyone else, perfectly fine, waded through the water with his drill in hand, preparing to dig his bro out of trouble.

OOC note: Any and all characters that were in the mecha group or with Dai-Gurren as of their last posts are now at the hot spring, where they will be staying for a while until we move onto the final battle of the chapter. This is to give everyone a rest from constant battles and a chance for everyone to get to know one another. There are male and female sections to the spring, as well as some more private sections for small groups. You're welcome to have your characters to leave the spring and therefore the groups that are there, but if you do please don't return to the group until next chapter to keep things running smoothly.

From the Spiral Throne Room, the groups continued to be monitored by the Spiral King, Lordgenome, as things went on.
Of most note to him was Team Dai-Gurren and their allies. They had amassed a fairly significant force already, and it looked as though they would only continue to gather more as things went on. Despite this, Lordgenome's expression gave nothing away even as he watched.
"What will you have us do about them, Spiral King?" Ribbons finally asked.
"Nothing." Lordgenome answered instantly. "There are already enough forces around the Temporal Tower to do what is necessary. Everything is in place."
"My king, please allow me to join them." spoke the voice of Mr. Bushido, Graham Aker, as the man himself stepped forward.
"You wish to duel with Gundam, do you not?" Lordgenome replied, knowing the man.
"While it's true I want to defeat Gundam, there are far more than we expected to see there. Deploying me in the Sakigake would even those odds, I'm sure of it!"
"Hm. Very well." Lordgenome finally answered. "If you desire it so, you shall go."
"As will I." came a female voice suddenly, causing Graham to stop momentarily. "There is somebody I wish to defeat with them also."

"Kei..."
"Please do not argue. I am going with you." the girl, Kei Ayanami, said. "Just as your destiny is to fight Gundam, mine is to fight her."
"...very well." Graham finally accepted. "If you permit it, Spiral King, we will both join our forces at the tower."
"Go."

As they left, Ribbons turned to the Spiral King questioningly.
"You must be feeling quite generous to allow them to decide their mission."
"What is it you truly wish to say, Ribbons Almark?"
"I was merely--"
"Temporal Tower will fall. Experiencing this defeat will harden them further, and bring them more determination to fight when it is truly time. Then will this rebellion be crushed."
"...you hold the power, Spiral King." Ribbons admited, turning away to leave.
At least for now.

I wish it was. It's my favourite fan-made Pokémon, Necturna. Supposed to be a Grass/Ghost.
Sigh. If only...

Reaaaaaally jealous now. Tahiri was cool.
