Drat, and I go there to read manga, too. I agree with some of you are saying, it's too long of a wait and too expensive to buy the manga in the U.S. You only get about five chapters every six months to a year. (Sorry if my numbers are off, I haven't bought a manga in ages.) Onemanga and other websites are a lot more convenient for people like me who like to keep updated on the Japanese versions of the manga. I used one manga a lot, I guess I'll have to find a new place to go and read it. Kind of reminds me of the music industry and the whole downloading issue about ten years ago. IPod solved the issues a few ways with the IStore, but it still happens a lot. I guess it'll have to be a standard now that'll happen with manga too.
My personal opinion, I'd be thrilled if it happened in the U.S. Australia, no offense to the Australian's out there, tends to be more of a male-oriented culture. I think it's good a woman has finally broken the ranks. It's not wrong to have a male-oriented culture or female. It's just nice to see it change once in a while. I keep hoping for a female president. We just got a black president, why not a female one? In any case, I hope she does well and leaves a legacy behind for other inspiring women.
Good, how've you been? I've just been hanging out and stuff. Though I am writing a really old story I found I started five years ago. :) And hey...
http://www.cnn.com/2010/TECH/web/07/25/wikileaks.afghanistan/index.html?hpt=T1 My personal opinion: I'm neutral about the war. Iraq is the one that really gets me the wrong way. But I thoroughly question the source, I mean... Wikipedia? Yes, I'm pretty sure that is a wikipedia website. The fact that they allow anyone to post info on it gives me several alarm bells. I know several of my teachers banned us from using wiki on any papers due to the inaccuracy. I think this is some guy trying to get his five minutes of fame and a fortune to boot. Probably also very anti-war. I do like the fact he said they make sure all info is accurate. Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhtttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt......... It's that simple to keep track of that many articles. Thoughts?
From CNN, it is being said, note: these are rumors. That Hayward is resigning tomorrow. BP is denying it, but if it's true, good riddance. Considering how much controversy is rising from the oil rig explosion and the spill afterward, he should have left months ago. Hopefully they'll find someone who is better for the job. As for the above post, I don't think the U.S. is going to apologize anytime soon. Yes, it has deeply affected the British economy, but it has hurt us far worse with three whole states economies almost stopping completely due to this oil spill. It might take you years to recover, and yes, BP might go under. But we might have lost a whole industry in the South due to this spill for years. A industry that they depend on for a lot of other things. It's not going to be nearly as easy for them to recover.
Wow... A lot of posts since I wandered off. I find it disturbing in some ways how they're helping the wildlife. The whole moving the turtle eggs is one way I find it. Yes, it sounds like a good idea, yes it sounds like it'll help them. But the turtles are born there for several reasons. One, is that despite everything else, a lot of animals depend on the turtle eggs during that time of year to be able to survive. It sounds cruel, but when you punch out the numbers, you still have hundreds of thousands of turtles left over. Also, the thing is... They're guided there by instinct, they remember it as their birthplace. Now with them being moved, in a few years, we're going to have a massive problem. Not only with misguided seaturtles going to the wrong beaches, but an overpopulation problem because nature didn't take it's course and all the natural predators that keep the population down are suddenly yanked out of the picture. And we're not talking about a few people affected in this oil spill. We're talking about whole states. What I said before about Maine's economy crashing because of oil is 100% true. Three-quarters of our year comes from the beach. Only during the winter do we depend on the mountains to bring in cash. If you drive in coastal Maine in the middle of summer and then in the middle of winter, you'd be absolutely flabberghasted on the difference. Louisianna, Alabama and especially Florida depend heavily on the same tourism. There's businesses that are going quickly belly up and fishermen killing themselves over this. Many people are hurting and it will take years for it to totally recover.
Don't get too thrilled about Japan's defense, from what I heard, women are still treated like third class citizens. *took international management and heard a lot about different countries* I could be wrong, but women at the least are treated differently. China's worse, but I'm going off in a tangent. I think honestly you always need a military. During WWII, we thought that we were invincible and would never get attacked. FDR saw a flaw in this plan and yes, he did want to join the war. you always have to be prepared for a fight, 9/11 and Pearl Harbor showed us that.
As long as it doesn't suck. As most people know, there's not many movies that make it well from video games. Final Fantasy Advent Children was okay, I liked the ending the most. That's pretty much it. I can't honestly like a movie I liked that came from a video game off the top of my head.
One thing I do have to note, they're doing the same old thing over and over because it gives them money. If people keep on buying these games because they see the new shiny thing and nothing else, they're going to make the same damned thing again. Until people stop buying these games en-masse there's going to no change at all. I just keep on hoping that people will start to learn that maybe it can get better if they stop buying them because they just toss on something that will make something entertaining for five minutes. (yes, I hate all new features, too. You name it, I didn't like it.)
I remember the last time this happened. *sorry if off-topic* All the airline pilots, attendants, baggage handlers, mechanics, you name it... Called in sick the day after Christmas for at least five days, if I remember correctly. Every airport was practically shut down during one of the most hellish traveling days of the year. It really upset a lot of people and threw everyone into a tailspin. Everyone who was taking a flight in the U.S. was stranded. Anyway... They had a reason to go on a sick leave if you will. They accepted massive cuts and no bonuses to help a drowning airline industry. In the same year, the execs of the industry got millions in bonuses. Note: This was a few years after 9/11 when there was massive problems in the industry. In any case, right now the pilots are massively overworked and underpaid. I don't fully blame them for going on strike.
As long as they don't *censored* the controls up like they did 358/2 days. *still refuses to play Neverland because of the forever damned controls* I wouldn't have minded Ipod touch, since I have one. :p
Yeah, I'm back. *waves to people and takes a deep breath8 I'm hoping that they're going to get a lot more creative. I liked the wifi, though I didn't have it for a very long time and for that, couldn't use it. Overall, I just think they're not even trying anymore. They're recycling the same thing over and over and over again... If I want to spend 40+ hours doing all the work, including catching pokemon and such, I want to be entertained, not bored out of my skull. Please, just stop throwing some shiny stuff on top of it. New pokemon, a handful of features, a new team that seems to be less and less entertaining every generation, and a rival that is starting to be even more boring isn't going to cut it for me and probably more of the older gamers. As I put it, Moo goes the cash cow.
3... Anyone want to try a mutiny? *eyes Repliku and his security and impenetrable fortress* .......... Maybe later......
95... A dead Jedi Master, but a Jedi Master.
92... Woot!!!!!!!
87... Patience, Obi-Wan.
84... The more people posting at once, the more it screws up the counting. Don't blame the kiddies.
76... Weirdest Audition I've ever seen. Best is probably Susan Boyle.
That's where he disappeared off to, a few crappy movies later and he vanishes off the planet. Makes sense. We have beaches and great restaurants. And indoor plumbing that was added 20 years ago. CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
That was six, not five. Five is Lexeaus. I think... Anywho... Six.
