As Stratos continued to hobble out of the mirror dimension portal thing, he quickly lost his balance and fell. Well, there went all of his strength. Turning himself over onto his back, he pushed himself slowly across the ground. He eventually managed to rest his back against a nearby wall, and slowly drifted in an out of consciousness. After lokoing up, he had a grin come across his face as he had realized something. This was the first time that they had been actually been able to rest, with no massive threat within walking distance of them. While Stratos would have enjoyed to sleep, or really do anything other than stand, it wasn't as if they were out of the frying pan just yet. The ultimate threat of the darkness that had attacked them still existed, it was still out there and able to stop them. It would be even harder now, what with The Order and their main base of operations having been completely destroyed as well. He looked to the rest of the group and saw them all sort of talking to each other, the main thing to focus on being the fact that Beuce had lost an arm. Man, he was going to need a better cure spell and magic stat if he was ever going to try and help him get over that. Then there was Karina, who he couldn't help but give a sigh to at her demeanor. He thought that she was at least a little beyond her super tough act, but seeing as her saying she was fine which was quite the contrary, seemed to state otherwise. Ah well, old habits. Though, there was a bit of an issue that he had right now, that he was wondering if anyone would be able to answer. "So," he addressed the group, "anyone know where we are?"
I will retake my lost throne.
After probably the most over top finish of heartless that could have happened, Stratos watched as Arma the Kingsmoth exploded into three different hearts. With the fight over and done with, Stratos let out a large sigh of relief as he saw one hundred more behemoth walk there way into the room. This was absolutely terrible. They had fought a grand total of twenty five behemoths during this entire battle, and now there was one hundred more. He couldn't really move anymore, let alone fight. He was feeling able to stand, having had Beuce cast cure on him but...wait a second. He looked at Beuce and was slightly mortified at the sight of the man missing an arm. Regardless, they'd have to worry about that later, since they had to leave now. With the mirror back up, Stratos started to hobble his way over to the mirror. Looking around, he noticed that not a soul was dead. Well, turns out Karina had been wrong, though it wasn't him that saved everyone. No, it was all of them, together. As a team. With that sentiment done, Stratos hobbled his way through the magic mirror and then jumped through it to the brave unknown.

Stratos was basically only to keep himself standing by using the telescope to give a good support. His vision was fading and then he realized why he was still so injured. During that entire time he was healing everyone and giving them aero, he had been the one person he neglected to use any form of magic on. Well, that was something else. Now he was basically out of MP once more, having spent somewhere around twenty five mp in order to make that entire thing he did possible. Well this was a problem. He tried to strike at the telescope with his keyblade, but that too started to feel far too heavy for him to actually swing around. As he attempted to, he slid off the support and fell to the ground. Being unable to lift his keyblade anymore, the young wielder started to just meekly punch the telescope in order to start building mp. There were easier ways to get this done, after all, he still had two items gifted him to use at his discretion, but he would feel pretty bad about using them now, after they had come this far without having too. And so, he kept punching the telescope. With the last of what his strength could muster, he managed to build it up enough that he could just cast cure on himself. As he preformed this action, he nearly passed out, only to keep his consciousness steady from this single act. While the cure was a good sort of revitalization, it was not nearly enough to get Stratos back into tip top shape. However, it was still enough that he could pull himself back up, and stand at the ready to actually move again. His balance was still shaky, and he was totally going to collapse again in a short period of time, but that wouldn't matter one bit to him. He could fight now, and that was what was important. It was then that he observed both Steel and Raisor go in to fight the behemoth with all of their might, knocking its health down to a very low amount. He now had to start thinking of a means to damage this thing with what little strength he had, only for his thoughts to be answered with a very familiar attack. Sure, it had only happened once, but the time it had happened couldn't possibly be forgotten yet. The purple hue that surrounded the room started to condense in a certain location, only to follow up by transforming into a guillotine blade. The blade of Off With Their Heads flew straight towards the behemoth only for him to respond by doing something completely unexpected. Within one of its hands, the darkness erupted around it started congealing together. As if it were made of threads of darkness, Arma the Kingsmoth was now wielding a sword and brought it to collide with the guillotine blade that was flying towards it. As the two gigantic blades clashed with each other, Arma eventually won out with his sword cleaving straight through the off with their heads. What the hell, why could everything just cut through that? As Stratos thought that, some sort of purple lightning generated from Mad World had flown off of him, and with a snicker snack sound, struck Arma. Well that was oddly lucky. Arma was not pleased with the attack, and seemed to have actually been hurt by the strike. Not to mention that it wasn't as if everyone was just standing around while it took its sweet time trying to cleave through a flying guillotine blade...hopefully. With Stratos's attack of not even attacking done, Arma was getting on its last legs. Stratos was now on his way to try and find some sort of other abstract means of injuring the heartless. It was getting pretty difficult to do anything at all, but he had come too far to just pass out and let the fight end now. He was glad, however, as everyone seemed to be working together to take this behemoth down. All as one large, albeit really disorganized, team. Stratos had continued to watch as the other members of the team had done their fair share. There was Raisor, the guy he knew literally nothing about who had done a strategy similar to his in terms of lobbing books at Arma. Then there was Kel who had attacked it by throwing his keyblade at it, getting on his keyglider...somehow catching his keyblade again, and then throwing strike raid at it once more. The last one up to do something was Glen. The guy pulled out a scarf that he had had this entire time, and then decided to start going in on this fight. After watching Glen hit Arma the Kingsmoth and go untargetable for a bit, Stratos realized that he had to keep looking for things to do. The first thing in order was making sure that everyone would be fully functional and ready to keep going. They were going full force against this thing, and they needed all the sustain they could get. But Stratos's only real means of gaining mp right now was beating up books, and that was annoying. He needed a bigger thing to beat up in order to keep a constant stream of mp up. It was then that he looked and saw something. Something that had been cleaved since the very beginning of the fight.. Stratos took his battered body as fast as it could go to the mother of objects that he could get mp off of and feel only slight remorse doing so. It was Seiza's broken telescope. Taking spell binder he started to do something that would look about as productive as beating up books, and that was whacking the broken telescope every which way he could. Every interval of three mp that he gained he would cast cure on a person and then immediately put aero on them. Despite being out of commission, or rather because of that, the first target was Karina to make sure that she did not die from a stray attack or something. Next was Raisor, who seemed to be in some pretty terrible shape himself. Next was Kel, then Beuce. Afterwards west side got curing and aeroing and finally Glen was the last to be hit by this support combination. However, after going through a full cycle of this, Stratos collapsed down for a moment, completely out of breath. He was in no condition to be doing this, and just the act of it made him see spots in his vision. Not to mention his arms felt like they were going to fall off at any given moment. He was gasping for air while he laid against the beaten up telescope, and then looked toward the fight going on with Arma. The time for rest would come after this heartless died, not now and not even a little before. Probably directly after, but he hoped he would be able to at least go for a bit longer before that happened. And so, Stratos picked himself, using the telescope that he had just beaten up as a support, pointed his keyblade at Arma, and cast fire from it. As the fireball connected with the large scale behemoth, he could see that it was starting to weaken, and the group was getting close to ending this. Stratos wasn't entirely sure if he could continue on with this fight. But he had to make sure that no one died here. That was, ultimately his role in this fight. If he couldn't at least support everyone else, then there was virtually nothing he was capable of. As he hobbled and limped his battered and lacerated body over to where the others were. He couldn't entirely see straight at the moment, and so was nearly taken off balance when Beuce put a hand on him. The man then went to tell him that the both of them had found their own reasons to fight, and that Beuce's only kind of fight thus far was just senseless bloodshed. He didn't quite understand the meaning behind his words, but he could tell that they at least held weight behind them. He watched as Beuce did something pretty interesting. As he magiced into his soldier uniform, some weird devilish purple/pink cat was summoned out by a blue fairy. The cat then raked its claws across his arms and Stratos suddenly saw something extremely familiar. The giant purple hue that had been around the room wayyyyyy at the beginning was back again. So that was its source. He then watched as Beuce went in, and with something that was like brute force and style combined. As he managed to hit away the behemoth, thus saving Raisor from his near death via behemoth, Arma the Kingsmoth now was flaunting around a puffy cheek. Well that certainly seemed to stand out. It was then that Stratos had to actually think about what he was going to do here. He had one mp to use, and basically nothing he could do of note on one mp. He was pretty badly beaten and physically exerting himself was, a, not something he was usually good at anyway and, b, was just asking for him to get killed. There had to be something he could do here to get rid of some of the pressure off the others. While trying to act as a decoy did cross his mind, he realized just how dumb of an idea that would be. First of all, he had no stamina to be running around dodging all the **** that Arma could do, and secondly, he had already tried that and failed miserably. Though, maybe he didn't have to be the distraction himself. Looking around, he quickly started to limp his way over towards a book shelf in which he then realized that he still probably didn't have enough Mp to make this a good enough distraction. And so he improved. Taking a book out of the shelf, he did the most random thing someone could think of in this battle. He started beating up the book with his keyblade. While this looked like it had virtually no meaning behind it whatsoever, other than maybe screw literacy, Stratos had then managed to pound about three books into oblivion. Now he was good to go. He looked to the book shelf he had just been beating books off of, and then cast gravity on it. With the book shelf now suspended in mid air, Stratos then hit it with fire, igniting it, and then slammed his keyblade against it, sending the pseudo weightless object hurtling towards Arma. The behemoth's attention was then turned from who it was trying to eat to the giant flaming book case coming at it. Arma didn't seem to mind it whatsoever, as he simply summoned a blade that fired straight through it. However, as the wreckage broke, flaming books and papers were flying at him distracting him by basically getting in his way. Do I even need to respond to this thread?
Stratos had continued lying there, unable to even move at this point anymore. It wasn't so much as though he were waiting for Arma to just end it all, but there was little he could do to counter that inevitability. Thankfully, there were others who could. Kel had managed to draw the attention to himself, causing Arma to stop entirely caring about Stratos. The behemoth then seemed to rain down blades on the blue haired keyblade wielder, while he started running the hell away, only to get skewered through by one of the blades. That was bad, it was even worse as the being seemed to close in on him and almost devoured him, only to get hit away by another trip around the sun. Stratos wasn't entirely sure what he was supposed to do, though, in order to help Kel. There was nothing he could do at this moment, and it was maddening to him. How could this be happening. How could they not actually beat this last behemoth. Why was it so frighteningly strong that all he could do was tremble and nearly die from it. While he was pondering these thoughts, his focus was then brought over to see something amazing happen. Of course, how could he have been so stupid this entire time. Stratos knew now, he was one hundred percent convinced that there was nothing he could do to beat this behemoth. But the others, they were a completely different story. He watched as Karina came in and started to beat down on Arm the Kingsmoth, striking it down with all of her Karina like might. It was then that others had come in to join the fight as well. The entirety of west side, that being Ananta, Steel, and uh...two others he didn't really know. He was pretty sure one of them was Kross...but the other person had actually seemingly come out of nowhere. Whatever! They seemed ready and willing to take on the titanic behemoth, and so Stratos couldn't just sit, or rather, lay back and do nothing while all of this went on. As Steel had managed to start fighting the behemoth himself, Stratos tried to muster all of his strength to push himself up. It was pretty bad, but he had to at least contribute to this fight in some way that wasn't just dying. He had to help everyone, even if it was just in a little way. It was then that he saw something horrifying happen. Karina had decided to go mono e mono against the behemoth. It was a reckless attack, it was actually completely stupid to think that a head on assault would even begin to work against it, but he knew what she must have been feeling, as he had lost to his emotions literally a few seconds ago. As the behemoth seemed to beat her in a sword fight, it finally finished the keyblade wielder off with a blast of dark energy. Stratos watched as she fell, unable to do anything to stop the fall from happening. As she hit the ground, he suddenly realized just how little the behemoth mattered to him right now. He had vowed to make sure she lived through this fight, and so that's what he was going to do. As he picked himself up off the ground, he kept a shaky balance standing up, and then looked to her. The behemoth seemed ready to devour her, so he would just have to be faster than it. Cherry blossoms falling once more, through his blurry fatigued vision and knew just where to go. He had abused this technique far too much, but no matter the cost of his own body, he would save someone else. And so, he vanished from sight, as did Karina. The both of them seemed to end up far and away from the slightly confused Arma the Kingsmoth. Too far for him to bother with either of them at the moment. Stratos had essentially dragged her away from the fight, but it was the best he could really do. He then turned back to the behemoth, and now having the only thing he needed to do being kill it. And so he started to shakily hobble his way over to it. OOC: EXP Writer: 717 Words, 30 EXP Total: 4980 EXP Spoiler: Arma the Kingsmoth 514/900 Were you expecting me to repeat myself?

Stratos was now kind of screwed in this fight. He had no idea how he was going to deal with this next attack, as it was basically a rain of dark swords just sort of flying straight at him. So he tried to fly away from it, but that worked terribly. Instead, the keyglider ended up getting slammed a lot, in addition to the keyblade wielder himself getting cut up a fair amount from the attack. Each blade passed by him ended cutting through another part of his skin, and by the end of it, he looked rather worse for wear. To make matters worse, because his legs were shaking while he was up there, he had lost his balance far easier than he normally would have. Not that it really mattered at this point. The resulting damage that the attack had done to him had left him feeling absolutely drained. And so, he fell from the sky. There wasn't much he could do at this point, though he wasn't too high off the ground in the first place. Hitting the ground with a bit of a thud, Stratos could barely even move anymore. His body was covered in slash marks, and as a result his own blood. He could barely lift his head up to see the behemoth turn away from him. Wait. What was going on here? While Stratos was absolutely terrified of the creature, he didn't understand what it was doing anymore. It had started to walk away from him, getting ready to deal with both Luna and Kel now, probably wanting to devour them as well. So that was it. Stratos was apparently so weak that the behemoth that ate other things to get stronger didn't even see him as worth eating. Almost as if the frail weak boy was nothing more than some sort of scraps that would get scraped off into the garbage. He banged his fist against the ground as tears started to fall from his face. Why was it that he was this weak? What kind of cruel joke of fate was this anyway? What sort of divine providence decided to give someone who had no sort of strength to speak of the responsibility and fate of saving other worlds and all those that lived within them? Stratos just didn't understand any of this. Picking himself up, he let out a scream mixed with terror, confusion, and anger directed at Arma the Kingsmoth. The behemoth then turned around and looked at the keyblade wielder. It then suddenly roared out as a giant black fireball came sailing through the sky and pegged the thing. Arma seemed to be avidly ready to devour Bertha, adding to its behemoth kill count, only to suddenly have its attention snapped back to Stratos. Still yelling in the same manner as he had done previously, Stratos summoned his keyblade and then struck right at the behemoth. With cherry blossoms floating across the room, (actually...how filled with cherry blossoms was the room?) Stratos suddenly vanished from where he was, and reappeared on the other side behemoth. The attack was still incredibly wild, and thus the zantetsuken attack didn't seem to both Arma at all. Instead, it seemed to continue to not entirely care about the keyblade wielder. Creating more dark portals in the sky, it started to fire out not blades this time, but blunt weapons. Being unable to guard against a single one, the second he tried his keyblade went flying out of his hands, and more of the weapons hit him right in the gut. With the wind getting knocked out of him, Stratos went flying backwards, and was basically unable to do much in this situation. He had ended up having all of his emotions get the better of him, and so he ended up not waiting for his teammates to do anything that he could follow up on. Arma, not wanting to deal with him anymore, started to reach down towards Stratos, ready to end it. Stratos was continuing his fight against Arma the Kingsmoth. Okay, that was a grave exaggeration of what was going on right here. Calling this a fight would mean that, even if both parties weren't evenly matched, there was still some sort of general exchange that made them appear that way. This was nothing more than a one sided beat down. Stratos was on the ground, unable to move from his position, all he could do was watch as the behemoth approached him. Just like before, it reached its hand downward, ready to rip out Stratos's heart and devour it like the other behemoths. Just when all had seemed loss, part of its face blew up in a large solar flare explosion. After the attack had finished, the behemoth had a chunk of its face missing, black sludge dripping onto the ground, and so the roar it let out was extremely distorted and odd to hear. Strands of darkness seemed to collect and gather towards its face, slowly repairing any damage that had just been done to it. When it was over and done with, the black sludge that the behemoth was made out of, was now whole and as if it had been completely undamaged. The behemoth then turned its head and faced the person who seemed to challenge it. Stratos looked with it to see that it was Kel who had managed to piss off Arma. At that moment, Arma seemed to look at Kel with the same expression as it had all other beings thus far. Like it just wanted to eat them. And so, it started to walk towards Kel, lumbering forward with not a care in the world. As if whatever anyone else could do would not deter it in the slightest. And so Stratos had a brief thought. With it no longer focused on him, he could probably run away and escape from Arma the Kingsmoth. There would be basically nothing stopping him at this point, as Arma would be far more focused on Kel, given it seemed that it found Kel's strength a much more pressing thing to devour than Stratos's...whatever good stat quality it was that he had about himself. However, this thought was then replaced by one of just utter guilt. After making all those declerations about saving others, he couldn't believe himself for wanting to just abandon a fellow teammate when things seemed to be hopeless. He knew now what he had to do. Granted this thought process was interrupted by Luna just sort of flying through the sky and landing right on Arma, and then bouncing off. Well that was...he looked over to the other behemoth and saw that it was probably from Karina chucking her over here. He had no idea how he came to this conclusion, but there was just some sort of gut feeling, just deep down, that she picked someone up and threw them at a behemoth. He then turned his attention back to Arma, who had now wanted devour Luna. There was something about that girl that gave off an aura of just maximum vitality. And so it started lumbering towards her, only for Stratos to now have to act against it. He was, still, extremely terrified of this thing, and every fiber of his being told him that this was a god awful idea. Regardless, he got up on his keyglider and took off. He then chucked a single fire ball at Arma, which seemed to gain its attention, if only a momentary one. However, Stratos was not prepared for what it was about to do. Creating several dark rifts near itself, weapons of darkness started to form and essentially go into a fully automatic firing mode, attempting to kill the young keyblade wielder. Stratos had continued running away from the new, terrifying behemoth before him. There was nothing but terror in the way that Stratos was moving, nothing but irrational thought. As he continued to move away from it, he looked back to see the feral behemoth still look straight at him. It's eyes were digging straight into his soul. It was looking at his heart, wanting to make a meal out of it essentially. Stratos had no idea how to combat this behemoth. He had no idea what he should actually be doing in this situation. In short, Stratos was extremely confused. He kept on running away from the behemoth, only to see a giant black guillotine blade fall in front of him. Stratos tried to stop before the blade cut his head clean off, but trying to come to that hard of a stop caused him to lose his already shaky balance, trip, stumble and fall. He rolled across the ground as a result, managing to avoid the first blade that had tried to sever his head, and stopping just short of a second one. His eyes widened at the blade as it soon broke into strands of darkness. The darkness had flown back to its source, which Stratos looked at. Arma the Kingsmoth was drawing near Stratos, walking ever so slowly towards him. Stratos tried to get back up but only managed to stumble around and fall back down. He had no idea what it was about this behemoth, but nothing seemed to match it in terms of sheer terror. After all that he had fought, between a clown, a walking tank, and one that controlled all of the elements at once. But out of all of those, this was just had a different feel to it. It gave off the sense that there was no sense in fighting it, as it was just that strong. It was like trying to fight an entire world with a tooth pick. As there was no more distance for the behemoth to walk, it seemed to finally be ready to end the keyblade wielders life. It slowly took its right arm and started to lower it towards Stratos. The young keyblade wielder was wide eyed in terror as all he could managed to say, or rather shout, was "get away from me!" He quickly summoned his keyblade and let loose an odd torrent of cherry blossoms around him. Using Zantetsuken, Stratos had managed to dash away and slash straight through Arma the Kingsmoth. However, his attack was so wild, rushed, and lacked any sort of actual intent behind it that the behemoth seemed rather unfazed by the attack. It turned around to face the keyblade wielder again, acting almost as if he hadn't been attacked in the first place. It started to slowly walk towards Stratos, only for the boy to start to quickly react by clenching his chest. Creating a large orb of solar energy, Stratos threw his trip around the sun limit straight at the behemoth, trying to at least deter it. As the orb exploded on the behemoth, Stratos started to settle for a moment, only for his panic to come back to him. When the explosion cleared, Stratos could see an arm held up to protect against the strike, except the usual black sludge seemed to be replaced with a hard, almost rock like substance. As the substance returned to its original shape. Stratos was now quivering and hyperventilating at the scene. There was nothing he could do against this behemoth to stop it. As Arma started to walk towards Stratos, the keyblade wielder tried backing off, only to fall and stumble backwards. Stratos was continuing his grand fight against the assault riders. And by grand fight he simply meant that there was a lot of assault riders chasing him around. Well it wasn't anything that he couldn't handle...okay, it might have been. He wasn't entirely sure how this would go. While he knew he could just lead them around and poke at them here and there, the fact was that if he made some sort of slip up, then he was pretty much boned. If they managed to close the distance on him and actually force a fight out of him, then there was no way Stratos would be able to keep up with them at all. They would basically just maul him apart and then...well that'd be just all kinds of bad. Stratos continued to boost around, looking for an opportunity to harass, when he had managed to make said mistake. The mistake was that he had been focusing solely on the assault riders. That's right, there were indeed more heartless here then just them, and he had accidentally ran into one of them. Falling off his keyglider, he had seen that the assault riders managed to catch up with him. Well, guess this was the end. Stratos realized how fatigued he had become when he tried to get up, but his arms just wouldn't push him there. Damn, he was in way worse a shape than he thought. Stratos continued struggling, but saw the assault riders closing in. It was then that he saw a giant green circle be created around the entire array of heartless he was in the middle of. It was then that something really weird happened. Beuce dropped from the sky into the center of the circle, and had managed to kill a grand total of four assault riders all at once. Well, that was quite the entrance. Stratos had been able to pick himself up and was about to thank Beuce for his help and tell him about how he still had his two items...but Beuce left to go help Karina. Well hopefully that would go over well. For now, Stratos had to focus on just dealing with the rest of the heartless in front of him. Drawing his keyblade back to him, he was going to take the rest of the heartless on. Well, at least all that he could take on with his current skill set. Looking to the rest of the assault riders around him, he had decided to end this fight, right here and right now. He stared straight at the assault riders, and watched as cherry blossoms rained from the sky. The assault riders continued charging at him but he was unflinching right now. The cherry blossoms parted as they passed through, and Stratos simply closed his eyes as they got closer. Once the assault riders had closed the distance and were in stabbing distance of him, Stratos reopened his eyes and slashed with his keyblade right at them. The attack had happened in an instant, and the heartless stopped dead in their tracks. A giant slash mark appeared over the assault riders, in similar fashion as every other heartless that had been struck by this technique. This slash was so powerful that the wind picked up a frying pan that had fallen in east side way earlier in the fight, and flung it across the entire hall of records. It sent the frying pan right into the head of Cid, damaging it with sheer frying panny goodness. After that was done, Stratos was over and done with the heartless. It was then that something really weird happened. Two behemoths dropped from out of nowhere. Stratos looked at both of them and realized just how utterly screwed he was. He didn't know how he would deal with the both of them, especially when they seemed to be at near full vitality. So Stratos just ran. He got on his keyglider and flew away from them, as fast as he could go. As he got away he looked at the both to see just what he was up against. Both of them seemed to be on their hind legs. One of which seemed to have a silver mane, and some sort of crescent moon sigil on its forehead. It seemed to also be carrying a really weird blade on it. The weapon seemed to have a giant pole for a hilt, that it seemed to effortlessly hold in one hand. The blade itself was a really weird curved and crescent like shape. The behemoth seemed to be radiating with some sort of pale silver light. This was Dia the Moonmoth. He had no idea what this creature could do, but he was pretty sure the second behemoth would prove to be just as big of a threat as this one. Looking at it, he saw that it was...something different. The behemoth's face was like, extremely sculpted, almost like it was carved out of stone or something. The behemoth seemed to be covered in jewels, shining light across the entire room from the reflection of light from the crystals. The behemoth seemed to be holding a hammer as well, that was covered in gems just like its body, same for the shield it was wielding. That wasn't the weird thing though. The weird thing was that this behemoth seemed to be extra fabulous as well. He had no idea why, but it was just really apparent about it. This was Tar the Jewelmoth. He was pretty not sure how he was going to deal with the both of them, and he was pretty terrified just thinking about what they could do to him. However, he would just hold out like he always did, and wait for someone on his team to come along and basically do all the damage, while he just supported them. As he got ready to act, something caught his attention. Something that seemed to terrify even the behemoths. It was a behemoth, of course. No other type of heartless existed after all. But there was something off about this behemoth, other than the fact that it was on its hind legs. Its eyes seemed to be void of any sort of emotion, and the appearance of it seemed to be something to behold as well. It seemed to be made out of this weird black sludge, darkness type thing. The sludge seemed like it was oozing off of whatever that skin actually was, but rather than dropping off, it sort of got to the finger tips and stopped. The thing seemed to be also missing its tusks and horn. Rather than having a mouth, it just seemed to have some sort of openings between the sludge. As it opened its mouth further, it let out a deafening roar. Just what was this thing? It looked at the keyblade wielder for a moment, and then swiftly turned to face the moon and jewel behemoth. The both of the behemoths seemed to be terrified of the behemoth as they both got their weapon ready to fight this thing. It then bent down, on all fours now, and started to charge straight at the other two. The jewel behemoth fired off some weird light thing, that the behemoth got hit by, stunned by the attack, though not hurt at all. The moon behemoth then let loose an arc of silver light that was to end right at the stunned behemoth. However, it managed to recover before the attack managed to connect. Leaping forward, it avoided the silver arc entirely and kept running straight at the behemoth. The moon behemoth then brought its blade down and tried to stab at the ground to make something happen. However, the black sludge behemoth brought its left arm up and smacked the blade straight out of its hand. Next thing was something horrifying to behold. The sludge behemoth took its right arm and skewered it straight through the behemoth's chest. Darkness seemed to be flowing every which way out of the circle its arm had created, and light was shining out as well. The behemoth seemed to be pulling its arm out of the moon behemoth, clutching what appeared to be a glowing heart in its hand. The behemoth than took the heart in its hand and shoved it into its mouth, light coursing through its entire body now. The sludge behemoth seemed to start growing, with its sludge starting to expand and grow. The behemoth now seemed much larger than before, comparable to Spectrum's size. As it let out a feral roar, the moon behemoth seemed to turn into some sort of black crystal material, only to break apart and shatter into dust. It then snapped to looking at the jewel behemoth, ready to do the same thing. The jewel behemoth looked terrified however, all fabulousness that it carried with it before lost. As the sludge behemoth started to sprint towards the jewel behemoth, it raised its shield up to defend against anything it could do. However, it used its right hand to simply rip the shield away from its hand, throwing it to the ground. As the hammer came down to try and at least deter the sludge heartless, it simply brought up its left hand. It grabbed the jeweled hammer, and simply shattered it in his hand, and using the same hand, it slapped the broken hammer away from it. It then took its right hand pierced the chest of the jeweled behemoth, just like it had the moon behemoth. Darkness started to flow out of its chest as well, as the light poured every which way, just as it had before the moon behemoth. It then pulled the heart of the jewel behemoth, and then chomped down on it, just as it had before. The light radiated throughout its body, and the sludge seemed to writhe once more. The behemoth started to grow even larger than it already was. The size of it was now even larger than that of Spectrum. As Tar the Jewelmoth had lost its heart, it too was coated in black crystals and eventually blew up into sparkling black dust. The behemoth roared once more and started to look right at Stratos. Its eyes then seemed to dart over to looking at all of the other heartless. It eyed up all of the other heartless, including the other behemoths, but didn't quite want to deal with them just yet. Instead, it was more interested in the keyblade wielder before it. It seemed to be strangely attracted to the light that was given off from the keyblade. It was almost as if it wanted to eat it, just as it had the other behemoths. Stratos, however, as somewhat paralyzed in fear, looking at this monster that was before him. What the hell was this thing? He knew heartless were savage creatures, evil creatures even, but this was a first. He had yet to see another heartless, essentially, eat another one. Stratos could see what was about to happen. He was about to have to fight this behemoth. It had singled him out and there was nothing he could do about it. He was easy prey normally, but now he was weakened from all the fighting he had done thus far. There was terror on his face, but the behemoth didn't seem to care about that in the slightest. It just wanted to absorb his heart, due to the fantastical light that was being given off from his weapon. So Stratos started to run as fast he could. In a panic he completely forgot about using his keyglider. He completely forgot about using any kind of magic to help himself out, or even hurt the behemoth. He forgot about any of that in his panic, and just started running as fast as humanly possible. There was no way he could win, no way he could even put up a fight against it. So he just kept fleeing. Stratos was now on the run from the next set of heartless that were trying to kill him here. That was, the assault riders. He hadn't fought one of these things in awhile. And by awhile he probably meant a few minutes. Time here was so messed up that so far he felt like he had done nothing but spend a whole month fighting. Others probably felt the same way as him too, as this certainly did not feel like twenty minutes. Honestly, how does one even prepare a magic mirror to be used for transport? And why did Merlin even need the science guy's help or the three ducklets, to do so? Ah whatever, it was their mission to defend them, and defend them they would. After all, after coming this far, there was no point in turning back now. Not to mention the heartless in general seemed pretty disorganized and...narrow minded in terms of their own objectives. They seemed to attack them in varying different ways. Some worked together, like Lucda and Thrisle, while the rest of them seemed to want to just take them on one at a time. Not to mention they seemed to not care about who the keyblade wielders were protecting anyway. Stratos had been too distracted in these thoughts, though, as the assault riders had come in and started to attack him with their various lance weapons. Stratos had to quickly react to this, and dodge roll backwards as one came in and tried to stab at him. Okay, so this was a bit of a problem. He had dealt with a whole mob at once, but back then he was more so banking on Karina killing them all while he aggro drew them. So now, he had to kill them on his own. Which he could probably do fine, except for the fact that he didn't actually have Zantetsuken off of cool down yet. Granted, he could use Trip Around the Sun to beat them all as well, though that would mean he couldn't use it for a bigger priority target if needed. So all that Stratos could think to do now, was simply wait until Zantetsuken was good and ready to go. After all, he had no real effective way to kill these things with his strength alone, and his magic was entirely useful to be used for him either. Looking forward towards the army of assault riders, Stratos quickly got on his keyglider and started to fly away from the large cluster of heartless, hoping to think of something to do that would at least chip away at them until he, or someone else, could do something else. Boosting as fast as he could, he started to sail through the air far and away from the assault riders. They had completely committed themselves to charging at Stratos, though they couldn't keep up with the speed of his vehicular weapon. Stratos then jumped back in the air, hurling the keyglider at them like he had done many times before. They couldn't really do much to stop him from getting that attack through, as they weren't ready for it, and he summoned his keyglider underneath his feet to fly as far and away from these heartless as he could. After doing so, he flew low to the ground as to bait the assault riders back. There was a sizable difference between him and them, and they were none too happy with him at the moment either. Stratos just waited though, as paitence was something he was definitely going to need in order to stop the encroaching wave of centaur spearmen heartless. Stratos was now just standing there, not even sure how to fight these things any more. He didn't really have an easy out again something that made itself invincible after a just getting hit a few times. After all, he was relying on his strength to do this, which he had none of. Perhaps he could wait for one of the stronger people to come in and stop the heartless. Well, it wasn't like he was even doing anything much against them. There was just something demotivating and self confidence hurting about not being able to kill some mushroom thing. Well, there was probably a way to kill them all at once. Well probably two. However, Stratos didn't exactly feel like relying on those to deal with everything. During this fight, he realized all he had been doing, in terms of damaging things, was using Zantetsuken and Trip Around the Sun. Both of which were stupidly powerful techniques allowed him to deal with just about any heartless. However, relying on either of these techniques didn't make Stratos strong at all. He had watched everyone else fight thus far, and they didn't need to do some pretty gimmicky technique to win against things. They just had their own strength to bring things down with. Nevertheless, he still had to do something about these heartless, and doubting his own strength was not something that was going to help finish it any faster. He took in a deep breath and exhaled as he looked at all of the remaining Black Fungus heartless. He needed to kill them all as fast as possible so that he could help the others out in dealing with their heartless. It was then that cherry blossoms began to rain from the sky as Stratos took an iaido stance with his keyblade. As he continued to look at the heartless, he saw just where exactly to cut with his command. The only problem right now, was that one of them was still in an invincible state, though, that wouldn't last forever. He looked as the silvery mushroom was walking around, not much of a care within the world as these heartless had displayed thus far. As he continued to watch, the silvery coat around it had finally fallen, and Stratos was able to go in for the kill. Disappearing in an instant, he had reappeared past the rest of the heartless, with his arm and blade stretched out. There was a large slash mark that had appeared across all of the other heartless, all of which were seemingly frozen for a brief period of time. It was then that the five heartless had just exploded into a puff of black smoke, never to be seen again. Stratos looked as the hearts floated to the sky and wondered why things were like this. He had always assumed, even before his journey had begun, that he was weak for someone who was chosen by some sort of weird mystical weapon. However, he never thought the difference in all of their strengths would be this great. He looked onward at everything everyone was fighting, and wondered what he should try and do next. Now with all the mushroom heartless dead he could either aid Kel or Karina in their sort of expeditions. Granted, he wasn't entirely sure of interfering with Karina's fight anymore than he had, seeing as he had no idea how she would take that. She didn't really seem to have a consistent attitude for more than a few posts after all. Then there were the bolt towers that Kel was dealing with. Perhaps he could help him out with tho- ow. Sliding across the ground from the impact, Stratos looked up to see that an assault rider had knocked into him, basically challenging him to a fight. Well, guess this is what Stratos had to deal with next. Stratos was utterly baffled and annoyed at these stupid mushroom heartless. There was something extremely aggravating with just about every thing that the black fungus did. It looked pretty harmless, sure, but that just hid an interior of pure, unadulterated evil. Then there was also the fact that, vitality wise, they were pretty weak in that regard as well. However behind that pitiful hp stat, there lied a defense stat that put all other keyblade wielders to shame, and the ability to just because invincible because why not? It was actually starting to become rather annoying and down right stupid to fight these things. He swung at them once with his keyblade, hit them, and then poof, they just sort of became invincible. Not just that, they also let out this stupidly large and deadly poisonous gas cloud. Like, just what was this thing anyway? Stratos continued to think of a way to fight them more efficiently, when he realized that he probably could deal with them more easily than how it was now if he decided to actually use magic. However, MP was a precious and hot commodity around here, and he couldn't be bothered to take any of his support power away from everyone else just because he was getting pissed off at a heartless. Speaking of things in limited quantities, Stratos remembered something. He had given his keyblade to Beuce, and then took it back after all the fighting with Spectrum was done. However, Beuce had given him something himself. Taking them out of his pocket, he saw that he still had the hi-potion and hi-ether in his position, and was wondering what he should do with them. Beuce was too far a walk for him to actually walk back and then give it back to him. Ah, he'd probably just give them back at the end of the match. He then just decided to scan around and look at what everyone else was doing. After all, fighting black fungus was about as exciting as watching Cho'Gath jungle. First he saw that Kel had arrived onto the scene and decided to start fighting some of the morning stars himself. Seemingly using them as a weapon, because they were basically good for just that, he watched as he managed to kill two of them and then moved onto a bolt tower. Looking over to Karina he saw that- what was she doing? The thing in question was her. Attacking a behemoth. By herself. Sure if she were in top condition it probably wouldn't be a big deal, but she was like, half dead basically. It was clear in how she carried herself. However, since she seemed to want to do this by herself and as she didn't appear to be fighting it like a stupid emotionally crazed person, he was fine with it for the time being. Though that didn't stop him from casting cure and aero on her. Could never be too careful with these behemoths really. He then decided that Kel was probably worse for wear as well and cast cure on him as well. Well that was good, he was out of mp again. Ace management there Stratos. Anyway, there was still the mushrooms in front of him to deal with. And deal with them he would, but like, all in good time. Since he basically stood there, right next to a black fungus. The adorable little thing was just standing there, with Stratos, with a bored expression on his face, just whacking it over the head repeatedly with his keyblade. It was then that that one just exploded into black smoke, and then like, a few others followed just dying out of nowhere. Man he was glad that BP did that sometimes, otherwise this would be even more boring than it already was. Okay, so fuck the plan. None of it was worth anything and all. Why would it be? Why would all of them doing individual tasks and working together possibly be a thing that they would do? Whatever, gg Karina. She killed it like it was just some common other heartless, which it might as well have been. Regardless, they were done with north side. Both Karina and he now had two sides under their belt, and were completely finished with this north side. However, there was still a lot more that needed to be done. While the west side basically had everything under control and was going to finish pretty soon, South Side was a bit on the needing help. However, so was north side. After all, everyone here had basically been doing nothing but none stop fighting. And so these people, himself included, deserved a good deal of rest. However, despite this, he could only lay down for a momentary respite. Karina already seemed to be on the march to south side, so he couldn't just sit down and wait for the entire to fight subside. After catching his breath, he simply got up and then started to walk over. However, before walking over, he remembered something. Something important. He didn't actually have a keyblade. After all, it was given to Beuce for the purpose of, ya know, teamwork. But who needed that? Stratos summoned the blade back to his hand and started to get flying away on it. Now on a keyglider, Stratos looked around and tried to think of what to fight. Well Karina seemed to be fighting with Glen, a guy he had talked to for maybe two sentences once before, and they were taking on...a behemoth. Nope. Stratos was not dealing with another fucking behemoth. That's all he had been dealing with this entire time, and he was basically done with it. Well, except until he had to go fight another behemoth, but hey, that was way down the line. And they'd probably just be able to take it out using their own individual strengths anyways because apparently no one knew anything about teamwork. Anyway, he started flying there and tried to eye up which heartless he should take on first. There were a few kind of heartless that looked familiar, though that didn't actually mean he wanted to take them on either. There was first the assault riders, which were not really any sort of threat anymore since he knew exactly how he could fight them. Then there were the morning stars, which were probably a good source of ass kicking other heartless with. After all they were giant spike balls that could apparently just be flung at other heartless and kill them that way. The last two heartless were completely new though. There was this mushroom thing. It actually had this purple mushroom cap, and was just this sort of sliding around, since it didn't actually have any feet or anything. Then there was also this sort of heartless that was just some sort of giant tower thing, with a ball head at the base of the tower. But that wasn't nearly as interesting as the mushroom capped heartless. Flying down to them, he decided to start attacking with just his basic combo. After all, they were just a mushroom, how hard could it be to kill them? Apparently, very much so. When he struck at the heartless, the black fungus suddenly turned into some sort of silvery steel thing, and was completely immune to any damage. What. The. Fuck were they doing? They then sent out some sort of poison cloud, that Stratos backed off from. It was a good thing that he didn't need to type anymore, otherwise he would be hard pressed to find a way to kill them. But thankfully four of them just died. The plan of theirs had managed to form into one that was entirely functional. It was at this point that he could see that the four of them had become an actual team to work together and defeat a common enemy. Not just four random people who were forced to work together, as they had somewhat been fighting like during this entire battle. Stratos observed the battle, as that was basically all he could do at this point as he was a dedicated support role at this point. He observed as Kel came in to attack the behemoth and take off a part of its earth leg. Despite his best efforts, though, the earth leg seemed to be completely unhindered as any and all damage that was done to it simply reformed. However, Karina still managed to follow up with an attack of her own, and managed to actually hurt the behemoth in its vulnerable parts. Next up was Beuce who went in, dual wielding, and unleashed something that looked familiar, in concept alone. It looked like something that was akin to Trip Around the Sun in terms of activation, and realized that it was probably a warrior limit. Regardless, the behemoth seemed pretty pissed at all of them, and so it decided to start unleashing a rain of attacks on them. Combining space magic and fire magic, it created a large flame orb above itself. While the orb looked menacing enough, the actual attack was actually more so. The orb let loose a massive swarm of firagas at the group, each one randomly homing into someone else. Stratos, despite his position in the back, was no exception to this and realized something. He had no keyblade to defend against the attack. His only option right now was to run, and not get blasted to bits. He started to dodge roll away from the first, only for them to keep on track with him. While some hit the ground, knocking Stratos around with the resulting explosions, the grand majority of them that had locked on were still there. Thankfully, Beuce had cast a command that seemed to cause it to rain. The resulting rain seemed to dampen the fireballs, making them overall easier to avoid. In addition, it seemed to somewhat rust up the clockwork machine head. Well that was also useful to note. After managing to dodge the severely less terrifying firagas, he then tried to think of what to do next. With this sort of command out, the fire aspect of the behemoth was probably much less worrisome now, though still needed to be dealt with. Then there was the lightning aspect, that would only be powered up by this rain, though it was, thankfully, disabled at the moment. They had most of the other elements covered right now, however there was one that stood out as a problem element. That water arm seemed to be the most terrifying aspect of it right now, as he didn't think that any of them had a single thing that could counter it. As the rain fell on him, he then had a sudden eureka moment. However, something like what he had just thought of was probably an all in measure, and nothing more. If it failed, after all, then it would probably not be something they could recover from. And so he decided to shout his plan out to his teammates. "Everyone! When the lightning tusks recover from that attack, don't disable them immediately. Instead, everyone use April Shower and hit it them hard with Gravity." The plan here was, essentially, to power up the lightning as far as it could go, and then use that to vaporize its arm. After all, out of all the fighters here, it was the only one that actually could use lightning magic. The plan would also effectively get rid of the fire arm and the clock work head, but at the same time, there biggest problem would be dealing with the tusks after wards. The plan hinged basically on the Gravity that pulls it through the arm to pull it down towards the ground as well. If that worked, then it would basically be game over for those tusks as well, as they would be blown to bits from the mine squares. The next problem to deal with was the wind aspect, one that was pretty hard to even touch at all. However, he then thought of something else that just might end up working. "Beuce," he yelled out to his dual wielding comrade, "when you barrier surge into the behemoth next, just fire blizzard inside of it as well, that should be enough to dissipate the wind aspect of it." There were other aspects that had yet to be accounted for as well. While Beuce could basically just do everything with his magic, it wasn't really unlimited and he couldn't be expected to handle everything at once as well. "Kel, you're in charge of the ice leg. It should go down pretty easily if you just hit it with fire strike." Now there were only three other aspects of it that needed to be dealt with. The space wasn't anything entirely physical, but it should still be able to be countered by something. Then there was also the light horn that wasn't entirely easy to deal with either. More so because of its position then anything else really. The final piece of it was the earth leg, one that also didn't seem to have a direct counter either. Dealing with space and light first though, Stratos called out to the last of his teammates. "Karina, while the two of them are attacking it individually just cast stop on it, that should be enough to stop the space aura. Then hit the horn hard with a poison edge." Then that just meant, "leave the earth leg up to me while you guys are doing that." Really, the only thing he could do was cast Aero on the leg, and hope that would cause some sort of problem to act up with it, though that was a bit of a gamble. Then again, so was everything else in this fight. OOC: EXP Writer: 1036 Words, 30 EXP Total: 4710 EXP Spoiler: North Side Behemoth Spectrum the Elemoth: 82/600
After Arabella had basically become the leader of the academy's student body and split everyone into groups, it was time to get going. Lucia was actually somewhat excited to get this sort of mission started. Not so much because of the context of it, but more so because she was always happy to do a mission. After all, completing tasks given to them by their country's greatest institution was the whole purpose of the academy and SF in the first place. However, in order to deal with someone as dangerous as her they needed to be armed with their signature weapons. Lucia had gotten her pistol, just in case the violence escalated to such a thing to be used. Fortunately for the crazy anti government speaker in question, it was currently filled with rubber bullets. Not lethal, but they hurt like hell and were good enough to knock someone out. The trio that was Arabella, Sasha and Lucia soon left the academy and were now on their way to deal out justice in this sort of witch hunt. Their mission was a simple one, however, there was a good problem to take care of first. Lucia turned to the other group members and said, "so, if we're going to look for this girl, we need to know where to check first. Though based on the notice that shouldn't be too hard to figure out. She'll probably be in some large public place or at the very least, with a large crowd around her. People who rant about things need an audience after all, or else they're just talking to themselves." She tried to think of various locations to fit the bill...the only problem was that there was a good deal of public hot spots someone could preach in. So, looking for the input of her teamates she turned to them and asked, "So, you guys have any good starting locations?"
