Stratos had rocketed out of the mirror dimension and tumbled straight into a wall. "Ow." Good god, that place was messed up. Who knew a place like that could exist inside a mirror? Picking himself up, he dusted off his clothes, which looked way different than before. Where his clothes were a torn up mess before, he now had completely fine green cargo pants, a white long sleeved shirt and a green hoodie on now. Apparently somewhere along in the mirror dimension he had picked these up and completely changed wardrobe. Stranger things had happened. Noticing there was a large clamor going on, only to realize that it was the rest of the party doing there usual hokey stuff. Running over there, he said, "man, guys you'll never believ-" looking at the Aden and D'daer who seemed to be "wrapped up" in something he said, "nevermind, you've probably seen stranger." Well that explained what the two were probably actually doing during the battle of one thousand heartless. Looking around, he saw that there were many pictures of their mouse culprit and one of such pictures had Yen Sid. After hearing Base state that they were probably friends, Stratos only nodded...only for Ananta to ask why the both of them were in the same picture and happy together. "As Base said, they were probably good friend. Hell, they could probably even be master and apprentice given how Yen Sid...is a master after all. While we can't be sure about anything, it's probably safe to assume that the mouse is not the culprit. In fact, he could have even been trying to help Yen Sid out." Stratos began pondering something, "actually, if you think about it, I don't even see why we would have any reason to believe him a threat in the first place. After all, the mirrors that we've been through thus far have all lead to Yen Sid's tower, and this one was even in his room. That could only means he'd put portals to his own realm in trusted places. All this aside, we still have to find this mouse to confirm anything. So then SOS Investigation Squad, let's being the mouse hunt." It was then that time seemed to stand still while a giant card fell from the top of his vision. When it stopped, it was revealed to be the fool arcana, and the giant text "RANK UP" could be seen, and the SOS Investigation Squad's "social link" had been raised up another level. All of that vanished a few seconds later, and Stratos was wondering if he was crazy or something, but whatever. Completely disregarding that event from ever happening he looked at the group and said, "so, does any actually know what world this house is on? Or like, what's even outside this house?" Lucia had proven to be absolutely confused by just what was going on during this mission of theirs. She had met her long time idol and inspiration, Quinn, and that was awesome and then when he walked over and asked them if they were here from the school, she somewhat froze up, not being able to make any coherent thought. It was then that her senses were snapped back by Arabella pointing her rifle at the potential suspect. She was so confused as to who's lead to follow. Her teammate or her idol? What an absolute shit situation this was. As the exchange between the two and Quinn's assistant had gone on, Lucia just kept looking back and forth between the two rather confused, only for their sus to be the perp because she was a sec with a mo's that had a perf al. As Milla had tried to make them question their government by asking them to think about people who mysteriously died like she apparently did. Lucia shrugged it off more so as people who had either actually died, or in Milla's case, had most likely deserted. After all, it was most likely easier on everyone to think of a loved one as dead than an enemy of both themselves and the state. However her train of thought was quickly derailed as Quinn had told the trio to at least listen to what Milla had to say. She quickly went to a salute and stuttered out a "ye-yes s-sir!" As he left, her nerves calmed back down and she went into a more lax state as Sasha had told her to go keep an eye on one of the people who was with Milla this entire time. Was he always there? How had he seemed to go by so unnoticed during the entire thing? Regardless she gave a thumbs up to Sasha before she left. "You got it." Walking over to the boy, she was about to question the man, when suddenly she realized she had to keep her entire demeanor more professional. Stiffining up her posture and movements she continued to walk towards him until she ended up tripping over an apparently untied shoelace and fell flat on her face. "Owowowow." She rubbed her nose, which had a trickle of blood coming out of it, as she looked back up at the person she was supposed to keep an eye on. Her eyes widening, she shot up, stiffening her posture once more and readjusting her hat to its proper position. Clearing her throat she said, "yes um, civilian, sir, Mister man. You were witnessed with our suspect- er, criminal- er perpetrator. Yes, perpetrator. Do you want to- er, would you be willing to tell us- er, share what she discussed with you." Each time Lucia had stumbled over her words, she looked up only to look directly right back at their witness, trying to keep her totally well kept air of professionalism.

Walking through the streets, there was always something interesting to take note of. Whether it be the street performers that hung around, the fights that people got into (both physical and verbal,) and even just idle gossip. There was always something to learn or just plain observe. However today seemed to be a much more interesting and unique day than any and all that preceded it. Some new kind of creature had made its way into their world. Something that had never set foot on this terrain before. Its body was black as the moonless night sky, with two golden piercing eyes and two antennae resting atop its head. He was interested to see how they behaved, and noting that there was a person that they were targeting was not him, he watched as some random person in an alleyway was met with these creatures. The creatures had sprung on the man, and while he could fight back, their overwhelming pressure and numbers that seemed to appear out of nowhere eventually over took, mauling him to death most likely. He couldn't actually see how it ended with the man, as these creatures had approached him, he noticed that their bodies were melded with the ground. They then rose up from the ground and leaped at him. Sighing, the man took the sheathed katana of his and smashed it down against the shadow like creature. Getting spiked down from the force, of it, he then drew his katana and cut through a few more that were coming after him. The creatures seemed to explode into a puff of darkness as they sustained, what he could only assume was, lethal damage to them. Well that was a new way to go. Turning around, he saw another of the creatures walking around, only to see knives being thrown at it. Looking to see where they had come from, he saw some woman in a dress pulling a knife from her boot. Well this day was just full of fun surprises. As she yelled something about getting to a safer place, he simply walked over and said "given that they seem to melt into the ground and can travel freely there, I don't think a locked door will stop them." After stating that he gave a wave and said, "hello there Miss."
The duo had continued walking towards wherever the closest place to get food was, only to be stopped in their tracks by something completely new to either of them. Some weird black creature that looked pretty small just sort of appeared from out of the ground. Orbis looked to Lapis, pointing at the thing, but she shrugged, saying that she had just as little of an idea then he did. Orbis then started to cautiously walk towards the creature, only for it to leap at him. Orbis quickly brought up his arm to shield himself only for the creature to latch onto his arm, scratching once there. In a bit of a panic, he started screaming, "holy shit! Get off of me! Get off!" He started punching the thing in rapid succession, only for it to stay there until finally he coated his fist in wind and punched with it. When the blow connected, the dark being exploded into a puff of black smoke, only for Orbis to look back to Lapis with confused expression. "Did I just kill it?" Lapis shook her head saying, "I have no idea. But it doesn't look like it was the only one of its kind." The duo was suddenly surrounded by a group of the same type of black beings. "Are you going to be alright to fight with your arm like that?" Orbis looked at his arm, seeing that the creature had broken some skin and clearly scratched it up. While it was in some pain he simply replied in a joking tone, "please, how tough do you think I am? I'll have you know I stubbed my toe the other day and only cried for twenty minutes." Orbis continued to look onward as the gang of shadow like creatures began to advance on them. With one leaping at him again, Orbis quickly spiked it down with a wind covered fist, exploding the creature when it hit the ground. The next two leaped at him, only for Orbis to quickly react by coating his not injured arm in wind and chopping horizontally, to knock both of them away. One more leaped at him, with Orbis reacting by grabbing the face of the thing, and starting to run straight at a nearby wall. Boosting off the ground with his wind, he leaped at the wall, smashing the shadowy thing into it, and busting through the wall itself whilst yelling "Oh yeah!" He reveled in how awesome that was, when he suddenly looked at the inside of the building he had just smashed his way into. There was a family of dark skinned people sitting at a table with horrified, confused and angered expressions on their faces. "Oh shit." Before they could react, Orbis bolted out of the house towards Lapis. She seemed to be standing just where she was before he did his stunt, though the number of creatures had seemed like a lot less than before. He quickly shouted out, "Lapis, we gotta go! These black things aren't the only problem now." Looking back at the angered father of the family chasing after Orbis, she replied with, "Orby, that's racist." "Not the time for this!" He grabbed her and started to bolt off away from the people and the shadow creatures. After a fair bit of running, the two had managed to completely shake off both the black creatures and the black people. Having done that, the two who were somewhat out of breath, looked to see two red headed (and like, actual red, not orange,) girls just walking about. "Yo," he called out to them, "there are some weird monster things walking around, so you should get to some place safe." As Sombra and Azra's duel continued, she felt like he was quite the admirable swordsman and quite the correct choice for a sparring match. It was then, as the two were fighting, that her opponent let out a small cry of pain. Looking around to see what had caused it, only to notice some odd black creature having scratched his back. She saw that more of these creatures were coming from the ground. "It seems we have to postpone our duel for a bit to deal with these intruders. Are you okay to fight?" After asking the man, she then noticed that more creatures were starting to leap at the both of them. She had now started her own counter assault against them, using magic of her own. Imbuing her imitation blade with light, it suddenly turn into a pure white blade, that seemed to be hard as metal. Rushing at them, she started to slash at them, dissipating the shadow like creatures with each strike. It seemed as though the blade of light was a sort of bane to these creatures, as they were getting completely decimated by its strikes in a single attack. Despite this, the light emanating from her blade seemed to still attract the creatures en mass. There was a larger horde coming at her now, and so she acted quickly by picking up a chair from a nearby table. The light then imbued onto the chair, turning the chair pure white and glowing, throwing the piece of furniture at the horde, decimating a fair bit and burning others.

Lapis was observing as Orbis was trying his hardest to use his wind magic. Creating small burst of wind here and there, Lapis casually noted, "Hey Orby. You kinda suck at this magic thing." After he let loose an aerora, slightly out of breath he looked at her saying, "Are you trying to start something." With the same smile on her face, she just shook her head. "Listen, you're the one who wanted to watch me do magic so you could see if- what the hell is that?" The 'that' in question was the sound of some woman screaming, which could only mean that someone was in trouble. Lapis looked at Orbis, and he knew what she was thinking, so without any sort of say in what happened next the duo chased after wherever the scream was coming from. As they got towards the scene, the sight they were greeted with was one that could only be described as horrifying. There was a man unleashing all kinds of various magics to kill a single girl. In retrospect, the entire thing seemed completely overkill. However, Orbis didn't really care about that at the moment. Instead, while they had presumably come to help the girl, Orbis could only think of getting the both of them out of this event safely. "Lapis let's get the hell away from he- what're you doing?" She continued to run towards the scene only for Orbis to continue chasing her down. After seeing him come crashing through the sky and hearing a sickening crack of thunder happen, the two had made it to the crime scene, only for the show offy assailant to be nowhere in sight. Looking around, Orbis wondered where the person went, only to smell something terrible. Looking down, he realized that all that was left of the victim was nothing more than a burnt corpse. Averting his eyes from it, feeling noxious just being around it, he could only manage to let out a, "what the hell?" "Why do people magic like this Orby?" Lapis continued to look at the corpse, only there wasn't fear in her eyes, only anger. Her hands clenched tighter into fists, as Orbis didn't entirely know how to respond to her. "Why do people have to use something that has so many uses in solving problems within the world, to just kill and commit crimes against others?" After a few moments of silence, Lapis finally stated, "I'm going to stop this culprit." Orbis could only respond with a look of disbelief as he said, "What?" After awhile the two had left the scene, only for Orbis to ask, "so ace detective, how do you plan on finding this man?" She shrugged and said, "I don't know yet, but I'll figure something out. The culprit seems pretty unique in the fact that he can use various high level magic regardless, which isn't something that's all that common." Orbis look to her with a more serious expression and said, "seriously though. Even if you do find him what are you going to do? You saw the shit that guy could pull." "I'll probably try to convince him to turn himself in, and if that fails, well," she gave a smirk to Orbis as she said, "then I guess I'll just have to be a hypocrite long enough to knock him out and turn him in myself. Plus, I have a knight of the wind on my side." Orbis rolled his eyes at the comment, and simply looked away, wondering how deep they'd get into this, and what exactly getting into it entailed. Regardless, he said, "well, let's get to investigating later. For now, I'm kind of hungry." With that, the two proceeded towards the town square to get something to eat.
After Stratos had shook hands with Raisor, he went into the room that was going to be another juncture for another large point of drama. Though he didn't know it at the time, this was going to be going to be the place where all the **** was going to go down between people he had basically met twenty minutes ago, who were going to be his comrades for the rest of this journey. Hell, one of them might be his comrade in the next three hundred years or so. As he walked in he saw the odd scene that followed. That being that holy crap there was a man sized statue. He was pretty unsure as to what that was about, but apparently from what he had gathered from everyone else was that...he did this to himself. Aside from stopping a wall from crushing your friends, he had no idea as to why a person would actually turn themselves into a stone statue. And so, he continued to stand there, when Glen said he was going to go after someone who he thought was the culprit. It was then that apparently that culprit was a mouse, and Karina had retaliated at his suggestion with insults. Well she seemed to be...probably back to her old self. And that was apparently really... charming. It was then that Glen got really pissed off at her. Like man, he went off the chain. After accusing her of being useless and all that, Stratos knew exactly what was coming up. Dear lord, why. He had been through this sort of thing...like three times...in the past half and hour. Nope. He was done with this. Karina broke down, just like he knew she would, and then started crying about how she couldn't go home because she knew her father would kill her the second she did. Stratos knew that she probably wasn't exaggerating, given what she had said prior in the fight against the one thousand heartless and what she had told him about her past. It was then that everyone went to her aid to cheer her up, which was good to get the opinions of others other than just some probably preachy boy and a guy who she blamed herself for him missing a limb. He then just casually said, "I've been through this a bunch of times before, and I can't say anything I haven't to reaffirm you of your strength, so you've just gotta let that get into your head. Anyway," he turned to the mirror and started walking towards it, "we've got no idea what is on the other side, but we do know that three of our own have gone through it. So, with them lacking a proper support over there, I gotta go and make sure that everyone's fine." Truth be told, he kind of wanted to leave this place as fast as possible with the awkward atmosphere that had been generated here. He had thought that Karina's response to Glen's thoughts on the culprit was unwarranted, but Glen went a bit more overboard. And so, he had no idea what to do about this, but he was probably going to have try and calm Glen down as well. With that thought in mind, he stepped through the second portal he had been in the last five minutes.
Stratos had continued walking along when he suddenly felt better from the onslaught of mega potions being used all at once. Man those were good healing. Now with his body not screaming and felt like he was going to keel over at any moment, he could continue walking onward towards the top of the tower with nothing really stopping him anymore. It was then that someone stretched out there hand to them. The person in question stated that their name was Raisor, and that they were pretty thankful for his help in the battle against the one thousand heartless. Huh, that battle felt like it happened ages ago, despite only being a few minutes. Funny how time worked like that. Taking his hand, Stratos shook it and said, "my name's Stratos. Nice to meet you Raisor." Scratching the back of his head he said, "besides, I wasn't anything too special during that fight. But you did pretty great during that time too, so thanks for all your help during it." He continued to walk forward, toward the top of the tower, having some sort of strange sense of foreboding of what was waiting for them at the top.
After Sombra had her blow deflected, she quickly recovered from the recoil that had followed and then saw what her opponent's next course of action was. Quickly hopping backwards, she managed to avoid the vertical swing, only to bring her wooden blade to her side to block against his follow up of a spin attack. While she managed to block the blow, due to the attack type and her rushed guard stance, she still felt a fair bit of force behind the blade causing her to slide across the ground. Regaining her composure, began to go forward on her assault her once more. Her opponent was one who was very skilled, and one not to be taken lightly. Thus charging in like before would do no good, yet she knew just how she was going to approach this. Attacking much like she had the first time, she charged in, ready to bring the blade down upon him. However, this time, rather than follow through with the swing, she had stopped short, effectively feinting her opponent. After said feint, she quickly brought her wood blade from a downward arc, rather than the original upward one, going for his torso. She then quickly followed her attack up by mimicking Azra and doing a spin attack of her own, going for a horizontal slash.
As Azra stepped out of his chair, he seemed ready and willing to accept the duel of honor between the two. "Very well then!" She was now given the first move and had readied her practice blade to strike at once. As she prepped herself, the townsfolk seemed to be, not so much confused as intrigued, at the spectacle that was about to happen. It was more or less commonplace for fights to break out between people in this town. And so Sombra paid no mind to the crowd, as they would merely be the audience for this performance of theirs, and nothing more. With both hands on the wooden blade, Sombra quickly took off from where she was and brought the blade down on her opponent. After the attack went through, she pulled back her blade back and then went in to strike at him once more from the side.
With the hustle and bustle of the town, that probably had a name but who actually knew what it was, there were people of all kinds in there. There were those that would simply go to school and live out there days like ordinary people. There were those who shirked all responsibility and lazed about. There were even those who just raided the pantries and other storage areas of their friends and other associates, stealing all the food that they could. Then there were the people who were actually mattered. The ones who wanted to try and prove themselves, to make themselves worth something in this world of theirs. Sombra was one such person. A person who was going to become one of the strongest there was in this god forsaken world. And then...well who knew what would come after that. And so, she was ever vigilant, on the lookout for anyone she would deem to be strong enough to challenge. As she roamed through town, her eyes swiftly went to look at a girl in a long flowing white dress. She briefly felt the urge to challenge her, but dismissed that seeing as the woman seemed harmless enough. No, instead she knew just who her opponent for today was going to be. Gripping onto the practice weapon that she toted around, she knew just where her opponent was. Hanging outside, drinking some caffeinated beverage at a table outside the local overpriced coffee shop, she pointed her weapon at the man. "Azra! Man of the Light!" Her voice was loud and her declaration was to be clear. "I challenge you to a duel of warriors! How shall you respond?" The best ways to start a conversation was one thing that was not found in this town.
Sleeping, there was a single boy who was lying on the grass in some sort of park type area. The wind had created a slight breeze that made the fields of green sway, alongside the boy's hair. As the sun shown brightly on him, he seemed to be completely relaxed. Not a care in the world. Eyes closed, he just lied there, sleeping in the middle of the day. The boy continued to lie there, only for his face to wrinkle slightly as a drop of water hit it. He quickly went back to his relaxed state, only to be irritated by another few drops of water colliding with his face. While he seemed to be able to become relaxed once more, it took longer this time. After returning to his relaxed sleeping state, he lied there for a few more moments, the scene returning to normal. Then, with a sudden jolt, he awoke as a large bubble of water seemed to come out of nowhere and break against his face. With an annoyed expression on his now wet face, he simply said, "she is so dead." There she was, the girl with a cheery smile on her face that had absolutely no ill intentions behind it. She was sitting there, probably for about a few minutes befoe needing someone to play with. And thus, she flung water at the sleeping boy's face. As he stood up he shouted, "Lapis!" The girl, Lapis, watched as he turned around, looking every which direction for her, until he finally saw her. With a sour expression on his face, he marched over to her and glared at her. "What. The hell. Are you doing?" With an innocent expression on her face, Lapis looked upward and away as she said, "well, I was bored because there wasn't anything to do. Sooooo," she started to make droplets of water in her hand and seemed to be juggling them, only to flick them at the boy's face saying, "so I woke you up!" Wiping off his face, his annoyed expression perpetuated as he glared at her. "Ya know, when most people want to wake someone else up from their sleep they, oh I don't know, don't throw giant orbs of water at people. Besides," he looked over to where he was sleeping then back to Lapis, "usually when people are kind of just peacefully sleeping they don't want to be woken up." With a look of fake concern on her face she said, "oh no Orby, ending it all here is not the way." With a blank expression on his face he said, "I hate you." After stretching himself out and calming down a bit, he looked back to Lapis. "So, we doing the usual again then?" With an ecstatic grin and nod from Lapis, he sighed and then said, "I don't really know how you're going to learn from just watching, but whatever." With that, he started to make the wind stir around him, only for Lapis to clap and cheer him along with his use of magic.
As Stratos was resting outside the area, Kross informed them that this was Yen Sid's fine abode. Yen Sid was a name he felt like he hadn't heard in months...even though it was probably a few days at best really. As he continued to catch his breath there were a few people who were already getting up and ready to leave. He then looked over to see that everyone was crowding around Beuce, probably because he lost an arm an all. Granted, Stratos was a bit confused as to why no one seemed to care about the girl who was unconscious and when she woke up was crying, but tunnel vision was a thing when it came to injuries. It was then that Cat spoke up about how they could all probably get patched up by Yen Sid, and that they should probably get a move on. Despite the fact that he was pretty injured and exhausted, Stratos managed to stand himself up, determined to not fall apart just yet. Not when they still had another objective to go through. After Cat had made a pun towards Beuce, he walked over to the crowd and with a smile said, "but Cat, he seems to have his hand full with the amount of people already helping him out." He motioned to the rest of the people. He then started to slowly walk forward to the tower and said, "well, guess we better get going."

After a few sentences of exchange, the trio of gunslingers had all decided to start walking over to the town square. As they walked towards the public area, they briefly passed a broken car, and seeing as they had no way to fix it, kept going on. That was a weird observation and she had no idea why she even made it in the first place. As they got closer to the town square, Lucia took out the flier that had their target's picture on it and then started scanning the crowd to see if any faces matched them. While it was apparent that no one's face matched up, there was someone who seemed awfully suspicious. The reason her face didn't match up was because she was wearing a hood, after all. Keeping a calm and composed demeanor she looked to the other two and said, "let's go check out the girl with the red hoodie up, she seems awfully suspici-" she was stopped mid sentence by having her vision slightly shift to the hooded girl. What they ended up on, was none other than one of the most important people of the special forces. There he was, Quinn. The man who part of her own fighting style was inspired by. An unarmed master among masters. Lucia continued to look around to see if there was anyone else of note there, but all she saw was what appeared to be a homeless looking girl with a fetish for technology- oh my god that must have been Quinn's assistant! Lucia had completely forgotten why they were even here in the first place, now lost in her own little daydreams.
